Abstract

Fenomena living together di kalangan mahasiswa Yogyakarta mencerminkan dinamika sosial yang kompleks sekaligus menandai terjadinya dekadensi moral akibat pergeseran nilai budaya, lemahnya kontrol sosial, dan dominasi liberalisme modern. Kondisi ini tidak hanya berdampak pada aspek etis, tetapi juga pada kesehatan mental dan spiritual mahasiswa. Artikel ini bertujuan menganalisis bagaimana aktualisasi konsep Tazkiyatun Nafs dapat memperkuat resiliensi spiritual mahasiswa dalam menghadapi tantangan moral tersebut. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui studi kasus di Yogyakarta, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, serta dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa praktik living together muncul dari faktor ekonomi, otonomi sosial, serta pengaruh budaya sekuler yang memicu degradasi nilai. Namun demikian, resiliensi spiritual yang berakar pada nilai keagamaan terbukti mampu menguatkan ketahanan psikologis mahasiswa dalam mengelola stres, menjaga ketenangan jiwa, serta mendorong transformasi karakter. Konsep Tazkiyatun Nafs yang mencakup mujahadatun nafs, takhalli, tahalli, dan tajalli, ketika diaktualisasikan pada level pendidikan, individu, dan komunitas, dapat menjadi model pembinaan moral yang holistik dan aplikatif. Artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa penguatan resiliensi spiritual melalui Tazkiyatun Nafs tidak hanya relevan untuk membendung dekadensi moral, tetapi juga strategis dalam membentuk generasi muda yang tangguh secara akademik, psikologis, dan spiritual.

Abstract

User trust in artificial intelligence (AI) is shaped by a complex interaction of cognitive and experiential factors, yet empirical evidence on how these psychological determinants jointly predict trust remains limited. This study investigates a multi-factor psychological model of user trust using secondary data from 6,678 participants interacting with various AI systems. Five predictors—cognitive load, trust history, prior AI exposure, time pressure, and cultural factors—were examined using correlational and multiple regression analyses. The results show that trust history is the strongest positive predictor of user trust (β = .485, p < .001), while cognitive load significantly reduces trust (β = –.151, p < .001). Other variables did not exhibit significant effects. The model explains 25.7% of the variance in latent trust scores, demonstrating meaningful predictive power for psychological factors alone. These findings highlight the central role of cognitive ease and positive experiential familiarity in shaping trust in AI. The study contributes to Human–AI Interaction research by clarifying which psychological processes most strongly influence trust and by offering implications for designing AI systems that foster reliable, low-friction user experiences.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of body image and self-control on impulsive buying behavior among adolescent girls who use skincare products in Surabaya. Using a quantitative cross-sectional design, data were collected from 100 adolescent girls aged 15–19 years. The research employed standardized instruments: the Body Image Scale (Cash, 2002), the Self-Control Scale (Averill, 1973), and the Impulsive Buying Scale (Verplanken & Herabadi, 2001). The results showed that body image and self-control together significantly influence impulsive buying behavior (p < 0.05), with an R² value of 0.429. However, when examined separately, only self-control had a significant negative effect on impulsive buying , while body image did not show a significant effect. These findings indicate that higher self-control reduces the likelihood of impulsive skincare purchases, whereas body image alone does not determine such behavior. The study confirming the role of self-control as a key determinant of impulsive buying in adolescents, consistent with the self-regulation model. At the same time, it challenges the assumption that body image is always a major factor in consumption behavior. The results suggest that contextual influences such as peer pressure, social media, and online marketing may play a stronger role than body image in driving impulsive skincare consumption.

Abstract

The development of online food delivery applications has transformed the consumption patterns of Generation Z in Surabaya through digital promotional strategies such as free shipping and discounts. Purchasing decisions are influenced not only by functional needs but also by the economic incentives offered by digital platforms. This study aims to analyze the effect of free shipping and discounts on the purchasing decisions of Generation Z in online food delivery applications in Surabaya. A quantitative approach was employed, with data collected through online questionnaires distributed to 78 Generation Z respondents using a four-point Likert scale. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with a 5% significance level. The results indicate that free shipping and discounts, both simultaneously and partially, have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, with discounts being the most dominant variable. These findings confirm that price-based promotional strategies remain a key factor in driving Generation Z’s purchasing decisions on online food delivery platforms.

Abstract

The study explores the concept of fitrah within Islamic psychology and its integration with the theories of humanistic psychology. The findings revealed that despite the similarities between both perspectives in recognizing the innate potential of humans, both differ in their ultimate purposes, where humanism is anthropocentric, emphasizing individual autonomy, whereas fitrah is theocentric, aiming at fulfilling the role of human beings as 'abdullah and khalifah. The implications of this study suggest the development of an integrated psychological framework that incorporates spiritual dimensions into human development
