Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pengaruh dukungan sosial teman sebaya terhadap kecerdasan emosional mahasiswa pada Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar (PGSD) Universitas Negeri Manado. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif komparatif dan teknik analisis regresi linear sederhana. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 221 mahasiswa dari angkatan 2022 dan 2023 yang dipilih secara acak. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah skala kecerdasan emosional dan skala dukungan sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara dukungan sosial teman sebaya terhadap kecerdasan emosional mahasiswa. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa semakin tinggi dukungan sosial yang diterima dari teman sebaya, maka semakin tinggi kecerdasan emosional yang dimiliki mahasiswa.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how PT Berau Coal leverages Instagram as a social media platform within its Public Relations (PR) practices to enhance corporate image. Employing a library research method combined with content analysis of the official Instagram account @beraucoal.id, the study reveals that PT Berau Coal strategically utilizes Instagram as a primary communication channel to disseminate information related to operational activities, corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs, and environmental sustainability efforts. The digital communication strategy is delivered through a consistent visual approach, incorporating the AIDA (Attention, Interest, Desire, Action) model and narrative elements that reinforce the company’s branding. The findings indicate that Instagram effectively increases public engagement, strengthens corporate reputation, and shapes a favorable public perception of the company. Nevertheless, challenges persist, particularly in the innovation of CSR content, which tends to be repetitive. This study underscores the pivotal role of social media in adaptive, two-way communication strategies within digital PR.

Abstract

Children In Islamic law, adopted children do not have inheritance rights because there is no blood relationship between them and their adoptive parents. Therefore, it is important to examine this issue from a conceptual perspective within Islamic legal principles. This study aims to determine the legal position of adopted children in the distribution of inheritance according to Islamic law, as well as to identify alternative legal mechanisms that can be applied so that adopted children may receive a portion of the inheritance. The research employs a normative legal method, utilizing a literature review and legislative approach. Based on this perspective, adopted children may receive inheritance from their adoptive parents through a mandatory will (wasiyyah wajibah), which entitles them to up to one-third of the estate. The obligation of a mandatory will applies to anyone who dies and leaves assets but does not make a formal will—part of their estate must be allocated to fulfill this obligation. Thus, the distribution of inheritance to adopted children can be carried out through a wasiyyah wajibah or by way of property donation.

Abstract

The case involving PT Pertamina emphasizes the importance of building consumer trust and maintaining the company's image in the energy sector. The crisis that occurred can have a negative impact on the company's reputation, especially amidst the rapid spread of information through electronic word-of-mouth (e-WOM). This study aims to examine strategies that can be used by PT Pertamina to restore public trust, handle negative e-WOM, and restore the company's image. The approach used is qualitative-descriptive, with data collection through literature reviews and digital media analysis. The findings show that open and honest communication, rapid response to consumer complaints, and the use of technology in analyzing data are key elements in image recovery efforts. In addition, consumer involvement, implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs, and improving service quality have also proven effective in strengthening customer loyalty. By implementing this strategy consistently, PT Pertamina has the opportunity to build a positive image and establish a more solid relationship with the community.

Abstract

Children with special needs are children who require special treatment due to developmental disorders and abnormalities experienced by the child. This study is a quantitative descriptive study that aims to explore the public's perspective on TikTok content for children with special needs. Using a sample of 70 respondents selected through simple random sampling techniques, this study found that most respondents had seen children with special needs on TikTok and felt touched when they saw content for children with special needs. The majority of respondents also thought that children with special needs deserved to be made into content and could influence public perception of children with special needs. This study also shows that content for children with special needs on TikTok can increase public empathy for children with special needs and be an inspiration for the public. The results of this study can be a reference for increasing public awareness and understanding of children with special needs and the importance of inclusion on social media. Thus, the TikTok platform can be an effective means of promoting inclusion and public understanding of children with special needs.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the strategy to overcome resistance of transformative Islamic educational change which included the aspects of formulation, implementation, and evaluation. This study used a qualitative approach with a field research type at SMPS Islam Sunan Gunung Jati Tulungagung. The data collection techniques used in this study were in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique in this study was done in three stages, that were data condensation, data presentation, and verification of findings. The results of this study showed that: (1) The formulation strategy to overcome resistance to transformative Islamic educational change begins with building effective communication between the principal teachers and education personnel. (2) The implementation strategy to overcome resistance to transformative Islamic educational change is carried out by implementing inclusive leadership because it plays a very important role in managing resistance and encouraging the adoption of change. (3) The evaluation strategy to overcome resistance to transformative Islamic educational change is carried out by identifying the source of the conflict and resolving it using techniques such as mediation, negotiation, or collaboration.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan gambaran kesejahteraan psikologis narapidana residivis di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas IIA Manado berdasarkan enam aspek kesejahteraan psikologis Ryff (2014): penerimaan diri, hubungan positif, kemandirian, penguasaan lingkungan, pengembangan personal, dan tujuan hidup. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi melalui teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumentasi. Untuk teknik analisa data, penelitian ini menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketiga responden, yaitu K.K, N.P, dan M.P, memiliki dinamika berbeda dalam setiap aspek tersebut. Penerimaan diri mereka terbentuk melalui refleksi dan penyesalan atas tindakan masa lalu. Dukungan sosial dari keluarga dan teman di lapas menjadi penting bagi K.K dan M.P, sedangkan N.P mulai lebih realistis terhadap dukungan eksternal. Pada aspek kemandirian, ketiganya berusaha mengelola emosi dan membuat keputusan secara mandiri. Penguasaan lingkungan terlihat dari upaya beradaptasi dan mengendalikan diri dari pengaruh negatif. Pengembangan personal muncul melalui kesadaran untuk memperbaiki diri, dan tujuan hidup mereka difokuskan pada perencanaan masa depan yang lebih baik.

Abstract

The theory of quality teachers asserts that they must demonstrate professional teaching performance. With strong performance, the overall quality of the school will also improve, positively impacting student achievement. Efforts to enhance teachers' teaching performance can be carried out through the implementation of instructional leadership by the school principal. This article aims to examine the influence of instructional leadership on teachers' teaching performance. Instructional leadership can create a school climate that aligns with teachers’ learning needs. Principals who apply instructional leadership do not hinder teachers from developing and improving their skills in carrying out their roles as educators. Instructional leadership is essential and should be practiced by all school principals who seek to bring about improvements in teachers' teaching performance.

Abstract

The research problem is formulated as follows: What is the role of social studies teachers in eliminating bullying behavior among students at Getsemani Christian Junior High School in Manado? The purpose of this study is to determine the role of social studies teachers in eliminating bullying behavior at Getsemani Christian Junior High School in Manado. The research method is qualitative, with data collection techniques including observation, documentation, and interviews. The informants are Social Studies teachers and five students, with qualitative analysis conducted according to Miles and Hubberman. The research results indicate: 1) Bullying behavior among students at SMP Kristen Getsemani Manado, including: a) Verbal abuse, b) Insults, c) Threats, d) Humiliation, e) Mockery, f) Gossip, and g) Humiliating jokes. 2) Factors contributing to bullying behavior at SMP Kristen Getsemani, including: a) Lack of character education, b) Lack of parental supervision, c) Lack of school supervision, d) Lack of consequences, e) Influence of social media, and f) Social pressure. 3) Efforts by teachers to eliminate bullying behavior among students at SMP Kristen Getsemani Manado, through the following methods: 1) Providing guidance, 2) Conducting anti-bullying campaigns, 3) Motivating victims, 4) Involving parents, 5) Teaching character education, and 6) Setting an example or providing role models.

Abstract

This research discusses a comparative analysis of the regulation concerning Notary Positions in Indonesia and The People’s Republic of China. Notary in Indonesia is regulated under Law No.2 of 2014 concerning amendments to Law No. 30 of 2004 concerning Notary Positions, however Republic of China has different regulations from Indonesia as provided in Notarization Law Of The People’s Republic Of China 2017. This research was conducted using doctrinal approach method supported by primary legal materials and secondary legal materials. Based on this research analysis, it can be concluded that there are several similarities including the authority to make Notarial deeds and to validate legal documents, affiliated with Notary Organization, and the Notary’s liability in administrative, civil and criminal aspects. However, there are several differences about Notarial regulations in Tiongkok that can be applied in Indonesia such as the qualifications required for being a Notary, and the collective system in Notarial office.
