This study aims to analyze the dynamics of social capital in urban communities in the face of social change triggered by the development of digital technology. The shift in social interaction patterns from relationships based on physical proximity to virtual connectivity has influenced the structure of social networks, trust-building mechanisms, and the validity of social norms in urban environments. A qualitative approach with a descriptive design was used to explore the meanings, experiences, and social practices of communities in utilizing digital spaces. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation, then analyzed thematically to identify patterns of social capital transformation. The results show that social capital has not experienced an absolute weakening, but rather has undergone a transformation in form and function. Social networks have become broader but tend to be fragmented, while social trust is more fluid and situational due to the mediation of digital technology. Social capital plays a crucial role as an adaptive resource that supports the ability of urban communities to respond to rapid social change. The sustainability of social cohesion is largely determined by the quality of social relations, digital literacy, and the role of communities and social institutions in managing social interactions. These findings confirm that strengthening social capital based on an adaptive and inclusive approach is a crucial strategy for the social resilience of urban communities in the digital era.

This study aims to examine the implementation of project-based learning in improving the critical thinking skills of high school students through a qualitative approach. The background of the study stems from the demands of 21st-century education that emphasize higher-order thinking skills, while conventional learning practices still tend to be memorization-oriented and teacher-centered. The project-based learning approach is considered relevant because it provides authentic learning experiences that require active student involvement in problem-solving. This study used a case study design with teachers and students directly involved in project-based learning. Data collection was conducted through classroom observations, in-depth interviews, and analysis of learning documents. Data analysis was conducted thematically through the stages of reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results show that project-based learning encourages a change in the role of teachers to facilitators and increases student participation, independence, and reflective abilities. Project activities train students in analyzing problems, evaluating information, and making decisions based on arguments. The collaborative learning environment and evaluation that emphasizes the thinking process strengthen the development of critical thinking skills. This study concludes that project-based learning is an effective and relevant pedagogical strategy for developing high school students' critical thinking skills in a sustainable manner.

This study aims to analyze the role of teachers' digital literacy on the quality of learning in the Independent Curriculum era. The research approach used a qualitative method with a descriptive design to explore in-depth teachers' experiences, understandings, and practices in utilizing digital technology in the learning process. Research subjects were purposively selected from teachers who have implemented the Independent Curriculum. Data collection techniques included in-depth interviews, learning observations, and documentation studies, while data analysis was conducted through inductive thematic analysis. The results show that teachers' digital literacy plays a strategic role in improving the quality of the learning process through adaptive planning, interactive learning implementation, and continuous and authentic assessment. Digital literacy also encourages the transformation of teachers' roles as reflective and innovative learning facilitators. Challenges to strengthening digital literacy include competency gaps, limited access to technology, and individual teacher readiness. Normative legal research is the dominant approach in the Indonesian legal scholarly tradition, but the use of terms and approaches is often not accompanied by precise methodological explanations. This condition creates conceptual ambiguity that has implications for the weak construction of scientific arguments. This study aims to comparatively analyze the conceptualization of normative legal research according to experts and reconstruct its methodological boundaries to be more systematic and operational. The method used is normative legal research with a conceptual and comparative approach, through a literature study of primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials. The analysis is conducted qualitatively using descriptive-analytical and argumentative techniques to test the logical consistency, systemic coherence, and prescriptive power of each approach. The results of the study indicate that normative legal research cannot be reduced to a textual review of laws and regulations but must combine legislative, conceptual, historical, and comparative approaches within the framework of the hierarchy of norms and legal principles. The method of interpretation and construction of legal arguments are central instruments for overcoming normative ambiguity and maintaining prescriptive validity. Integrative methodological reconstruction produces a more coherent, principle-based normative research model, and is able to provide rational and scientifically accountable legal solutions.

This study examines the relationship between digital inequality and social stratification in the context of platform society among urban Indonesian youth using a qualitative interpretive approach with a critical-constructivist paradigm. Through a multi-site case study in South Jakarta, North Jakarta, and Depok with 30–40 informants aged 18–30 years, data were collected via in-depth interviews, participant observation, focus group discussions, and document studies. Data were then analyzed using thematic analysis, Fairclough's critical discourse analysis, and Bourdieu's field analysis. The findings reveal that digital inequality operates in layers at the level of physical access, skills gaps, and socio-economic benefits that cumulatively reinforce the existing class structure. The platform society ecosystem is proven to function as a social reproduction engine through three simultaneous mechanisms: algorithmic, habitus, and political economy. This study introduces the concept of digital habitus stratification to explain how class-structured digital dispositions are internalized transgenerationally, and the Platform-Mediated Social Reproduction model as a new analytical framework. The findings also identify the hierarchies of platform capitalism that lock lower-class youth into digital precariatization and class-based segregation of information ecosystems. This research concludes that solutions to digital inequality require transformative-ecological policies that address the broader structural roots of social inequality.

Corporate sustainability has evolved from a peripheral corporate social responsibility initiative into a core strategic orientation embedded within organizational governance and performance systems. In this transformation, Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) has emerged as a critical enabler, yet its integration within strategic management architecture remains fragmented. This study aims to examine how GHRM influences corporate sustainability performance through a strategic management perspective. Using a quantitative explanatory design, data were collected from managers and sustainability officers in medium and large firms through structured questionnaires and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings reveal that GHRM significantly affects corporate sustainability performance both directly and indirectly through strategic management integration. The mediation results indicate that sustainability outcomes are strengthened when green HR practices are aligned with corporate strategy, governance mechanisms, and management control systems. The model demonstrates substantial explanatory power, confirming that strategic integration enhances the effectiveness of GHRM in achieving environmental, social, and economic performance. The study concludes that GHRM functions as a dynamic capability that supports sustained competitive advantage when embedded within the broader strategic framework of the organization.

This study aims to analyze the transformation of social capital in urban communities as a result of the development of the digital economy and its implications for changing patterns of social interaction. The research background is based on the global shift towards a digital economy that not only affects the economic system but also the structure of social relations in urban communities. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design in an urban community with a high level of digital penetration. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation in physical and digital spaces, and documentation. Then, they were analyzed using an interactive model through data reduction, data presentation, and thematic conclusions. The results show a shift in interaction patterns from those based on geographical proximity to more flexible and functional digital networks. This transformation affects the forms of bonding, bridging, and linking social capital that now operate in a hybrid space between offline and online. Although the digital economy expands networks and opportunities for social participation, challenges such as shallow relationships, inequality in digital literacy, and the potential for social fragmentation remain. In conclusion, social capital is not experiencing a decline, but rather is undergoing a reconfiguration that requires adaptation and strengthening of digital literacy to maintain sustainable social cohesion in urban communities.

This study aims to analyze the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in learning by examining implementation challenges, ethical dimensions, and its implications for teacher professionalism in Indonesia. The background of the study is grounded in the acceleration of global and national digital transformation, which has driven the adoption of intelligent technologies in the education sector, yet has not been fully matched by system readiness and human resource capacity. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design conducted in secondary schools that have adopted AI in the learning process. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis, and were subsequently analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings indicate that AI implementation remains partial and largely dependent on teachers’ digital literacy and institutional support. Furthermore, ethical issues such as data protection, algorithmic transparency, and academic integrity emerge as significant challenges. AI integration also encourages a redefinition of teacher professionalism, which now encompasses technopedagogical competence, critical reflection, and moral responsibility in the use of technology. The study concludes that the successful integration of AI in learning requires synergy among adaptive policies, strengthened digital ethics, and continuous professional development for teachers.
