Abstract

This research aims to determine students' reading difficulties in learning. This research is a systematic literature review research that takes secondary data. Data was collected from various databases sourced from accredited national journal articles accessed from Google Scholar. The database taken is from journals published from 2014 to 2024. The data collected is analyzed descriptively by presenting the data regularly so that it can be understood by readers. Research findings show that elementary school students' reading difficulties include: difficulty identifying/distinguishing letters; difficulty arranging letters and syllables to read a word (especially combinations of vowels and consonants); difficulty changing words; often omitting letters in word order; lack of attention to punctuation; spelling difficulties; inability to pronounce phonemes, diphthongs, double vowels, and double consonants; lack of letter pronunciation and vocabulary mastery; cannot read complete sentences; difficulty reading meaningful words; still doing deletions, reversals, insertions, word replacements while reading; as well as fluency in reading aloud and reading comprehension.

Abstract

This research aims to increase the creativity of group A children through free drawing activities at Abdi Ananda Preschool for the 2022/2023 academic year. The subjects of this research were Group A children at PaudAbdiAnanda with a total of 13 children, namely 9 boys and 4 girls. This research method uses Classroom Action Research (PTK), which is research carried out systematically on various actions carried out by researchers to improve learning conditions and carried out in two cycles, with each cycle containing planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results of this research show that there is an increase in children's creativity through free drawing activities. In the pre-cycle classical completion only reached 30.7%, in cycle I children's creativity increased by 23.1% to 53.8%, and in cycle II children's creativity increased by 38.5%, to 92.3% . This shows that an increase in the percentage of children's creativity in the Developing According to Expectations (BSH) criteria with a percentage of 92.3% has been achieved in this research. This means that most children's creativity can be increased through free drawing activities in group A at Paud Abdi Ananda for the 2022/2023 academic year.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the cultivation of Islamic Character Values ​​in Gangga sub-district. This research was carried out at RA Uswatun Hasanah on all students in the second semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. This research is qualitative research with a phenomenological study approach. The subjects of this research were school principals, educators and students. Data collection was carried out using observation, interviews and documentation methods. The techniques used in analyzing data are data reduction, data display, drawing conclusions, and verification. Triangulation is carried out to explain the validity of data using various sources. The results of this research are: 1) The implementation of instilling Islamic character values ​​carried out at RA Uswatun Hasanah is instilled when welcoming children, before entering class, during the learning process, during breaks, and before going home by instilling Islamic values in children such as the value of faith, the value of worship, and the value of morals which are carried out using learning methods including: the playing method, the storytelling method, the conversation method, the exemplary method, and the habituation method. 2) There are supporting and inhibiting factors in instilling Islamic character values ​​at RA Uswatun Hasanah, namely supporting factors such as competent educators, learning that emphasizes Islamic nuances, and a conducive environment. The two inhibiting factors include students lacking focus and getting bored easily, children's characters are different, children's enthusiasm and emotions are less stable, children are hyperactive, facilities and infrastructure are lacking, family backgrounds are less supportive. 3) There is an impact in instilling Islamic character values ​​at RA Uswatun Hasanah, including religious activities such as children becoming familiar with prayer and fasting, daily prayers, Asmaul Husna, Hadith, so that they have morals like the apostles and friends.

Abstract

This research aims to improve children's interest in reading through the Reading Aloud method at TKN Dewi Sartika Gondang for the 2022/2023 Academic Year.  This research was conducted at TKN Dewi Sartika Gondang with a total of 20 children consisting of 10 boys and 10 girls.  This research uses classroom action research techniques (PTK The research subjects are 20 children in group B. The objects of this research use data collection techniques, interviews, observation and documentation in the form of pictures and videos. The data analysis techniques used are qualitative and quantitative techniques. The research can be said to be successful if it reaches a score or criterion of 80.The results of the research conducted showed that the Reading Aloud method in pre-action and pra sikha only reached 30% in cycle I increased to 55% and in cycle II increased to 85%.  So it can be concluded that using the Reading Aloud method can increase children's reading interest. The choice of media in reading books and book reading techniques also have an important effect on increasing children's interest in reading because children will be more enthusiastic about listening if the media or books and the way in which they are presented use interesting methods and the media used is interesting and appropriate for their age.  The research was stopped in cycle II because it had reached the success criteria.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berbahasa ekspresif anak dengan metode gerak dan lagu pada anak kelompok B di PAUD Al-Hidayah II Kuripan Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022. Subyek penelitian ini adalah anak kelompok B di PAUD AlHidayah II Kuripan dengan jumlah 10 yaitu 6 anak laki-laki dan 4 anak perempuan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yaitu suatu penelitian yang dilakukan secara sistematis terhadap berbagai tindakan yang dilakukan oleh guru untuk memperbaiki kondisi pembelajaran. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan menggunakan metode observasi sebagai metode pokok, wawancara serta metode dokumentasi sebagai metode pelengkap. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan kemampuan bahasa anak kelompok B terutama dalam perkembangan bahasa eksppresif. Pada pra siklus ketuntasan klasikal hanya mencapai 30%, pada siklus I kemampua perkembangan bahasa ekspresif anak mengalami peningkatan sebanyak 60% sehingga menjadi 50%, dan pada siklus II kemampuan mengenal huruf abjad anak meningkat sebanyak 35,7% sehingga menjadi 80%. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan presentase kemampuan mengenal huruf abjad berada pada kriteria berkembang sesuai harapan (BSH) dengan persentase 80% sudah tercapai dalam penelitian ini. Yang artinya sebagaian besar anak mampu berbahasa ekspresif dengan menggunakan metode gerak dan lagu di PAUD AlHidayah II Kuripan Kabupaten Lombok Utara Tahun Pelejaran 2022/2023.
