Abstract

True conversion in Christian theology is an essential transformation that must be proven through continuous change of heart and character, not merely an emotional experience or verbal confession. This study examines the theological dimensions of genuine conversion with a focus on forgiveness as an essential indicator of a transformed heart, using a case study of an elder who persisted in bitterness for years following a conflict with a pastor. A qualitative research method with a biblical-systematic theological approach was employed through literature review of biblical texts and systematic theology literature, analyzed descriptively-analytically. The findings show that true conversion includes repentance and faith that produce continuous character transformation, with forgiveness as essential evidence of understanding God's grace. The inability or unwillingness to forgive over the long term indicates a serious disconnect between theological confession and spiritual experiential reality. Prolonged bitterness destroys spiritual life, severs fellowship with God, and defiles many people. This study concludes that the capacity to forgive is a crucial indicator of conversion authenticity, and the church has a pastoral responsibility to lovingly confront bitterness while guiding the congregation toward restoration through forgiveness

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of profitability, liquidity, and capital structure on the growth of companies in the property sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2021-2024. The study uses a quantitative approach with secondary data in the form of annual financial statements obtained from the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sampling method employs purposive sampling, resulting in a selection of property sector companies that meet the research criteria. Data analysis is performed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS Version 25. The research results show that simultaneously, profitability, liquidity, and capital structure have a significant effect on company growth. Partially, profitability has a negative and insignificant effect on company growth, indicating that the profit levels generated during the research period have not been able to drive asset growth or business expansion. Liquidity has a negative and insignificant effect on company growth, suggesting that high liquidity reflects excess funds or unsold inventory, making it unproductive in driving business growth. Meanwhile, capital structure has a negative and significant effect on company growth, indicating that debt-based external financing is one of the main factors enabling companies to expand their assets, as managing debt optimally can provide a leverage effect that boosts company growth

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the direct and indirect effects of socio-economic factors on community welfare in Timika using a path analysis approach. The independent variables in this study include education level and income, while employment opportunities act as a mediating variable, and community welfare is the dependent variable. A quantitative research method was employed, with data collected through surveys of residents in the Timika area. Path analysis was used to identify the causal relationships among variables simultaneously. The results indicate that education level and income have a significant effect on employment opportunities, which in turn influence community welfare. Additionally, indirect effects were found to strengthen the relationship between the independent variables and welfare. This study is expected to serve as a reference for local governments in formulating development policies focused on improving the quality of human resources in Timika

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of price and promotion on consumer purchasing decisions at two local retail stores, Intan Jaya Store 1 and Intan Jaya Store 2, located in SP 2, Mimika Regency. The background highlights that the retail sector in this area is becoming increasingly competitive due to rising community needs, making price and promotion crucial factors in attracting consumers. Although both stores belong to the same owner, competition in marketing strategies, particularly regarding price and promotion, is a central focus. The research methodology involved collecting data from interview 80 respondents to illustrate their preferences and purchasing behavior. The data was analyzed descriptively to determine the frequency and percentage of primary reasons for store selection, the level of price importance, preferred promotion types, and the frequency of purchases influenced by promotions. The results indicate that a competitive price is the primary driver for consumers, with 31.3% of respondents choosing the store due to lower prices, and 56.3% considering price very important in their purchasing decisions. Furthermore, promotions, especially price cuts/discounts (43.8%), proved highly effective in driving purchases, evidenced by 75% of respondents frequently or very frequently shopping due to promotions. The study concludes that price and promotion significantly and interdependently influence consumer purchasing decisions at Intan Jaya Stores. Recommendations include maintaining competitive pricing strategies, increasing and diversifying discount promotions, leveraging promotions to build customer loyalty, and conducting regular market analysis to remain relevant to consumer needs in SP 2, Mimika

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has brought significant changes in the way organizations manage human resources. Human Resource Management Information Systems (HRMIS) are a strategic solution to help organizations integrate, manage, and utilize HR data effectively and efficiently. However, the success of HIS (Human Information Systems) implementation is not only determined by the sophistication of the technology used, but is also greatly influenced by how the system project is managed, implemented, and supported through appropriate information investment. The results show that the application of structured project management can minimize the risk of project failure, such as cost overruns, delays, and system incompatibility with user needs. In addition, the implementation of a well-planned system and long-term information investment play an important role in ensuring the sustainability and effectiveness of SIM-SDM. With good integration between project management, implementation, and information investment, SIM-SDM can provide strategic benefits in the form of increased operational efficiency, data accuracy, quality of decision making, and organizational competitiveness in the digital era

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of Sharia accounting principles in the preparation of financial statements of Islamic financial institutions. Sharia accounting is not merely concerned with technical aspects of financial recording and reporting, but also emphasizes Islamic normative values such as justice, honesty, transparency, and accountability based on the Qur’an and Hadith. This research employs a qualitative approach using a library research method by reviewing textbooks, national and international journal articles, and official documents of Sharia accounting standards. The findings indicate that Islamic financial institutions in Indonesia have normatively referred to Sharia Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK Syariah) in preparing their financial statements. The prohibition of riba, gharar, and maysir, as well as the application of profit-sharing principles, constitute the main characteristics of Sharia accounting practices. However, several challenges remain, particularly related to human resource competence, differences in interpretation of Sharia standards, and competitive business pressures. This study concludes that strengthening conceptual understanding and institutional commitment to Sharia principles is essential to ensure that financial statements not only comply with accounting standards but also reflect Islamic ethical and spiritual values
