Abstract

This research aims to measure how big the results of evaluating online (online) based learning programs are to increase the digital literacy of students at the Khodijah girls' Islamic boarding school. Increasing digital literacy is very important in the current information era, considering the role of Islamic boarding schools in preparing students to face global challenges. The evaluation method applied uses the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) model with a qualitative descriptive approach Data collected through direct observation (case study) and library studies by several books and journals. Research discusses 1). evaluation of online learning programs, 2). The models used in evaluating, one of which is learning used by the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) model, and 3). challenges and opportunities in implementing digital students. 3). Preparing students to fight in the digital world. The research results show that online learning in Islamic boarding schools faces various challenges, such as limited infrastructure and human resource readiness, but also opens up great opportunities in developing digital-based da'wah and learning methods. This evaluation confirms the importance of support for digital literacy programs in Islamic boarding school environments as a strategy to prepare students to face the challenges of the digital era. Abstract

This study was motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in Islamic Jurisprudence (Fiqh), particularly in the topic of funeral management, which is presumed to result from the use of less relevant teaching methods. Data from MA Al-Ma’arij Hegarmanah Sukabumi in 2025 showed that more than 50% of students had not achieved the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKTP). To address this issue, the demonstration method was applied to enhance students’ understanding of procedural material through direct learning experiences. This study aimed to analyze the effect of the demonstration method on students’ learning outcomes in the topic of funeral management. The research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method using the Non-Equivalent Control Group Pretest-Posttest design. The sample consisted of 52 students, evenly divided into experimental and control groups. The research instrument was a 20-item multiple-choice test validated for reliability. Data were analyzed using normality, homogeneity, and t-tests. The results showed that the experimental group achieved a higher posttest mean score (73.46) than the control group (61.35), with a t-value of 3.575 > t-table 2.009. These findings indicate that the demonstration method effectively strengthens understanding and has a positive influence on students’ learning outcomes in Fiqh, particularly in funeral management

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of riyadhah habituation in shaping the spiritual awareness and character of students at Pesantren Yasina Cigombong, Bogor. Riyadhah practices such as dzikir (remembrance), voluntary prayers, Qur’anic recitation, and fasting are regarded as spiritual exercises that function not only as routine worship but also as a method of character development. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation involving the pesantren’s caregivers, teachers (asatidz), and students. Data were analyzed through processes of reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was ensured using source and method triangulation. The results indicate that riyadhah plays a significant role in cultivating discipline, responsibility, and sincerity in students’ spiritual practices. However, challenges remain, including low internal motivation, a sense of compulsion, and negative external influences. Supporting factors include teachers’ exemplary behavior, the pesantren’s religious culture, and family support. Therefore, riyadhah is proven to be an effective means of holistic spiritual character formation among students

Abstract

This study addresses the critical gap between theoretical understanding and practical application of digital ethics among students at Islamic junior high school MTs Al-Khaeriyah. The rapid digital transformation has created an urgent need for effective digital ethics education, particularly in Islamic educational institutions. Using a qualitative case study approach, this research examines the implementation of reward and punishment systems integrated with Islamic values to enhance students' digital ethics awareness. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with 15 students and 5 Islamic education teachers, and documentation analysis over three months. The findings demonstrate that non-material rewards including public recognition, digital certificates, and point systems, combined with restorative punishments such as reflective writing assignments and digital content creation tasks, significantly improved students' ethical awareness and behavior in digital spaces. The study concludes that a systematic approach combining behavioral theory with Islamic educational principles effectively bridges the theory-practice gap in digital ethics education. These results highlight the importance of consistent implementation, teacher collaboration, and parental involvement in developing comprehensive digital ethics education programs within madrasah environments, contributing to the creation of responsible digital citizens who embody Islamic values in their online interactions.

Abstract

This article explores Rusdi Ahmad Tha’imah’s concept of the ideal teacher in the era of digitalization and its relevance to improving the quality of Islamic education. Tha’imah emphasizes al-jaudah al-syāmilah, a holistic approach to educational quality encompassing personal integrity, scientific competence, and professional performance. Amid the rapid transformations brought by digital technology—such as technological demands, ethical challenges, and shifting learning interactions—teachers are expected to integrate spirituality, professionalism, and digital adaptability. This study employs a descriptive-analytical approach by examining Tha’imah’s educational thought and linking it to 21st-century teacher competencies. The findings indicate that Tha’imah’s ideas remain highly relevant in shaping the model of an ideal teacher today: a murabbi who combines digital literacy, pedagogical excellence, moral values, and a culture of quality leadership. Through this integration, Islamic education can sustain innovative, humanistic, and value-based learning processes despite the dynamic nature of digital environments.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of mathematics e-modules as a medium for strengthening students’ responsibility character through a literature review approach using library research methods. The review includes relevant studies published within the last decade, covering trends in e-module development, the integration of character values in digital learning, and empirical findings on the effectiveness of e-modules in mathematics education. The results indicate that mathematics e-modules significantly enhance students’ conceptual understanding through interactive, flexible, and accessible learning materials. Additionally, e-modules contribute to fostering responsibility by encouraging independent learning, monitoring learning progress, and guiding learners through structured activities that require discipline. However, several limitations are noted, including infrastructure readiness, varying levels of digital literacy, and inconsistencies in e-module design quality. This study highlights the need for more comprehensive e-module development to optimize pedagogical functions while simultaneously strengthening character education in mathematics learning.

Abstract

Higher education quality management faces serious challenges amid increasing demands for accountability, transparency, and global competitiveness. In practice, quality assurance and accreditation are often understood in technocratic and administrative terms, thus failing to fully establish a sustainable culture of quality. This article aims to analyze the concept of value-based quality management in higher education, examine Rusydi Ahmad Tho'imah's thoughts on quality assurance and accreditation, and explain the relevance of these thoughts to the contemporary higher education quality assurance system. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature review, with primary data sources in the form of Rusydi Ahmad Tho'imah's works and secondary data sources in the form of relevant national and international scientific journal articles. The data were analyzed using content analysis and thematic analysis to identify the concepts, principles, and implications of value-based quality management. The results of the study show that value-based quality management places quality as an institutional value and culture that is integrated into the entire process of the three pillars of higher education. Rusydi Ahmad Tho'imah's thinking on al-jawdah al-shāmilah emphasizes that quality assurance and accreditation are instruments of quality development oriented towards continuous improvement, not merely the fulfillment of administrative standards. This approach is highly relevant in strengthening the higher education quality assurance system to make it more meaningful, sustainable, and aligned with academic values and institutional ethics.
