Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are a vital pillar of the village economy, including in Rajabasa Lama I Village, Labuhan Ratu District, East Lampung Regency, which offers a variety of superior products such as banana chips, ground coffee, and traditional foods. Despite their broad market potential, most MSMEs still rely on conventional marketing, limiting their market reach. Challenges include a lack of digital technology knowledge, promotional content creation skills, and online marketing strategies. The Community Service Program through Real Work Lectures (KKN) was implemented for 25 days (July 8–August 2, 2025) with the aim of increasing the marketing capacity of MSMEs through e-commerce and social media training and mentoring. Implementation methods included observation, planning, preparation, training, mentoring, and evaluation. The materials provided included an introduction to e-commerce, social media utilization, marketplace account creation (Shopee, Tokopedia), product photography techniques, and digital promotion strategies. The results of the activity showed that 100% of participants successfully created marketplace accounts, 70% were able to upload products independently, and some reported increased interaction with potential buyers on social media. Participants provided positive feedback and recommended further training in creative content creation and support for promotional tools. This activity demonstrated that implementing e-commerce can expand marketing reach, increase interaction with potential buyers, and open up broader market opportunities.

Abstract

This community service activity focuses on the application of appropriate technology through the creation and management of social media at Al Amin Early Childhood Education (PAUD) in Rajabasa Lama 1 Village, Labuhan Ratu District. The program's background is the need to improve publications, information transparency, and for the Marketing and Branding of Educational Institutions. The implementation of this activity includes needs analysis, technology literacy training for teachers, the development of social media governance, and content production assistance. Data were obtained through observations, pre- and post-training questionnaires, social media data analysis, and interviews with parent representatives. The results show an increase in teachers' ability to manage technology, consistent posting, and broader access to information for the community, especially parents. The average teacher digital literacy score increased from 3.2 to 4.0 on a scale of 1–5. These findings were analyzed using the Technology Acceptance Model and Diffusion of Innovations framework, explaining that technology adoption is influenced by user perceptions of the ease of use and benefits of technology, as well as how the technology spreads within a social group. Recommendations focus on program sustainability through admin rotation, content updates, and continued digital security training.

Abstract

Community Service Program (KKN) is a form of student dedication to society aimed at providing real contributions to solving social and environmental problems. The Regular KKN Program of Group 7 from the State Christian Institute of Palangka Raya (IAKN) was implemented in Garung Village, Jabiren Raya District, Pulang Pisau Regency, during July–August 2025. The main problems identified were poor environmental hygiene due to unmanaged household waste, lack of adequate disposal facilities, and low public awareness of clean living behavior. This community service employed the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method with a qualitative descriptive approach, using observation, interviews, Focus Group Discussions (FGD), village transects, and field documentation. The core programs included the construction and installation of communal trash bins, socialization and education on environmental hygiene, joint clean-up activities, and the establishment of a Volunteer Garbage Task Force (Satgas Relawan Sampah). The results indicated an increase in community awareness of hygiene, the availability of simple waste management facilities, and the formation of local institutional support through the task force as a sustainability effort. This community service confirms that a participatory qualitative approach is effective in fostering a clean-living culture and strengthening community participation in maintaining a healthy village environment.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the Integrated School–Church Education and Motivation program aimed at increasing the interest of youth in pursuing higher education in Bahu Palawa Village. The small village, with approximately 515 residents, faces declining tertiary education aspirations, early marriage, negative digital content influence, and low youth participation in religious activities. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through participatory observation, in depth interviews with stakeholders (village head, teachers, church leaders, and youth), and documentation of the KKN program. Findings indicate that the school–church synergy via career roadmap workshops, public speaking training, digital literacy outreach, and spiritual fellowships effectively boosts learning motivation, reduces tendencies for early marriage, and improves youths’ digital habits. The program also revitalized youth engagement in religious service. In conclusion, this integrated school–church model is an effective contextual intervention to foster long-term educational orientation and character formation among rural youth in similar settings.

Abstract

The increasing amount of waste has become a serious problem in Indonesia due to the habit of littering and the government's suboptimal handling of the issue. At SD Negeri Mandiri Jaya, the lack of facilities and a culture of waste sorting remains a challenge. Therefore, the School Loves the Environment programme was implemented, which included socialisation, the provision of separate waste bins, and educational boards to encourage students to maintain cleanliness and care for the environment. The objectives of this study were to improve the understanding of students at SD Negeri Mandiri Jaya about the types, sources, and impacts of waste, equip them with recycling skills, and provide supporting facilities such as separate waste bins and educational boards to foster a culture of environmental awareness from an early age. The research method used was educational socialisation and waste recycling activities through a participatory approach. The results of the study show that educational socialisation and waste recycling activities at SD Negeri Mandiri Jaya are strategic steps in fostering environmental awareness from an early age. Through the delivery of material, recycling practices, the provision of separate waste bins, and the installation of educational boards, students not only understand the importance of waste management but also become accustomed to practising it. This programme has a positive impact on school cleanliness, shapes environmentally conscious character, and supports the government's programme in education- and community-based waste management.

The activity is carried out in several stages, namely socialization about the importance of cleanliness, practicing recycling waste, and installing educational posters in the classroom area. The results of the activity show a high enthusiasm from the students and a change in behavior, such as starting to throw trash in its place and participating in keeping the classroom clean. Abstract

Globalization of food has shifted consumer preferences toward practical, nutritious snacks with storytelling value. However, local village potentials are often marketed only as low-value raw materials. Ekajaya Village, Pantar Tengah District, Alor Regency, has main commodities such as cashew nuts, corn, and papaya that have not been optimally processed. This community service program aimed to increase the added value of local products through food processing training. The implementation included identifying village potentials and training 10 local youths to produce crispy cashews, corn chips, and papaya chips. The results show that participants were able to produce innovative snacks with good taste, simple techniques, and longer shelf life. Their enthusiasm confirmed the successful transfer of knowledge and skills. This program is expected to become an initial step in transforming local products into modern snacks with higher economic value while opening wider market opportunities at the national level.
