Abstract

Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem in toddlers which is characterized by a shorter height compared to children his age. The incidence of short toddlers or commonly called stunting is one of the nutritional problems experienced by toddlers in the world today. In 2017, 22.2% or around 150.8 million children under five in the world were stunted. Data on the Proportion of Stunting in the Riau Islands Province shows that the Stunting incidence data is already below the national target of only 16.82%. The most visible factor in the community is the mother's lack of knowledge about the nutrients that must be met by the child during the growth period. Mothers usually give delicious food to their children without knowing whether the food contains sufficient nutrients or not, and does not compensate for it with healthy foods that contain lots of nutrients. As many as 25 people who were present during the counseling were able to understand and understand the material presented by the presenter regarding stunting. The whole community who attended was in general good health and the children looked active and healthy.

Abstract

Self-medication is a self-medication that is carried out by the community when they experience mild illness. Providing appropriate information can protect the public from the dangers of using drugs. And hand washing is the most important basic technique in infection prevention and control. The method used in this community service activity is to provide and disseminate information through educational videos about Tanya 5 O and washing hands properly and correctly at the Botaia Health Center Batam City through social media.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service is to increase the knowledge and skills of the Sabilal Muttaqin Islamic boarding school students, Indragiri Hilir Regency, Riau Province. Increasing awareness in the use of cottage land and its management of cleanliness; increasing the insight of students so that they can generate motivation and enthusiasm for entrepreneurship; increasing the economic value of natural resources in Islamic boarding schools. The methods used are lectures, training and mentoring, covering material on entrepreneurship, land management and chili cultivation. The results of this activity have increased the entrepreneurial insight of students, as well as skills in utilizing the potential of local raw materials for products with more economic value and understanding of the application of more effective technology to strengthen the characteristics of entrepreneurial boarding schools

Abstract

People who understand the needs in their lives, will immediately find out everything about vaccination, because if they do not concern about the importance of being vaccinated, they will always have poor knowledge and will have the potential to refuse to be vaccinated. As described by the researchers in this paper, it is known that until now only 7% of people have a negative understanding of this vaccination, who reject it. Besides medical personnel or the relevant government officials always educate the importance of vaccination in order to have strong antibodies and avoid various kinds of infection from the viruses that attack the human body.

Abstract

The importance of service to rural communities in improving welfare through the development of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Service in the form of skills training, access to capital, and opening new markets allows village MSMEs to grow and develop, creating jobs and reducing poverty. In addition, the health programmes provided help improve the quality of life for villagers. Free health counselling and check-ups facilitate access to medical services, which has positive implications for economic productivity. Furthermore, this service strengthens social ties and solidarity among villagers, building active participation in village development activities. As such, the service to the village community provides comprehensive economic, social and health impacts, and creates a foundation for long-term prosperity and sustainable development.

Abstract

Cultivating the habit of being aware of the law is the responsibility of all parties, even more so for educational institutions. Educational institutions are primary socialization media that greatly influence the formation of human character in the future. If the attitude and behavior of obeying the law has been instilled from an early age, then in the future, the attitude to respect and obey the rules will be ingrained and entrenched in society. Of course this is done by providing correct knowledge about what not to do and what to do.

Abstract

Completion of the final project on time is an important aspect that must be planned more programmed during education. Students of the Biology Tadris Study Program IAIN Palangkaraya FY 2021/2022 have delays in finding ideas and ideas in completing their final project during the transition period of the Covid-19 outbreak, where 93% of students stated that they still did not have clear ideas and ideas, 7% of the students stated that he was still in the stage of trying to express ideas in the form of a draft proposal. The technical guidance assistance program for the completion of the final project is one of the Mentoring Programs initiated by the Biology Tadris Study Program, which in its implementation can be used as one of the lecturers' independent services. The program implementation aims to assist in achieving the target of completing student final assignments on time after the pandemic. The mentoring and evaluation of the success of the mentoring program was carried out from January to April 2022. Based on the evaluation results that the implementation of the mentoring program there were very significant results, where the delay in student ideas and ideas (93%) experienced completeness (100%) at the end of the week 4 mentoring, where 10% of students have drafted proposals and are able to develop research instruments, 73% have been in the data mining stage in the field, and 17% have succeeded in the data analysis stage. The findings in this case study are in the form of mentoring program achievements that must be published, in the hope that they can be used as further references.

Abstract

High blood pressure cases develop with age, and most deaths are caused by hypertension. This can cause problems in the lives of the elderly and will affect their quality of life. The situation in Talango Village, Talango District, Sumenep Regency is the lack of public knowledge about non-pharmacological treatments for lowering blood pressure. The solution to this problem is to assist with the Classical Music Listening Application to Lower Blood Pressure in the Elderly in Talango Village, Talango District, Sumenep Regency. The method in this PKM is socialization to increase community knowledge in Talango Village. The results of this mentoring activity had a good impact, namely that at this time, there were (83.3%) of the elderly and their blood pressure decreased.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 memasuki babak baru kondisi new normal, setelah semenjak sejak 3 bulan terakhir ini marak terdengar di Indonesia, Sulawesi Tengah. Meskipun sudah memasuki kondisi new normal, wabah ini tetap harus diwaspadai. Tatanan kehidupan baru atau kenormalan baru yang harus dijalani akan berakibat makin buruk, jika kita tidak taat pada protokol kesehatan yang diisyaratkan pemerintah. Dalam menghadapi kondisi new normal, perilaku dan tindakan masyarakat harus berubah total dari tindakan biasa yang sering di lakukan. Sudah banyak himbauan dari pemerintah terkait perubahan prilaku yang harus dilakukan, namun nampaknya tidak mempengaruhi semua orang secara merata. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode promosi kesehatan atau penyuluhan yang dilaksanakan di Gazebo samping ruangan ICU/ICCU RSUD Tora Belo Kabupaten Sigi. Hasil keberhasilan target jumlah peserta, ercapainya tujuan kegiatan pengabdian, tercapainya materi yang telah dilaksanakan, kemampuan peserta dalam penguasaan materi dan bisa diterapkan Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 10 orang peserta, dengan demikian dapat dikatakan bahwa target peserta tercapai 100%. Angka tersebut menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan tersebut tercapai dengan baik semua peserta hadir. Ketercapaian tujuan juga dari hasil berdialog, beragurmen,  diskusi  dan  menceritakan  kasus-kasus  yang  terjadi dilingkungannya, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa tujuan kegiatan ini tercapai. Kesimpulan peserta penyuluhan interaktif dan bertambahnya pengetahuan dan pemahaman dari tentang covid-19. Saran kegiatan lanjutan yang sejenisnya yang diselenggarakan secara periodik sehingga dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman keluarga pasien / masyarakat yang ada di lingkungan RSUD Torabelo Sigi.

Abstract

Jumlah Masalah lansia dengan kesepian semakin meningkat di Indonesia. Penatalaksanaan lansia dengan kesepian yang tidak tepat dapat menimbulkan dampak baik bagi lansia maupun caregiver yang merawatnya. Adapun tujuan dari kegiatan ini Kegiatan Art therapy sebagai upaya dalam Mengatasi Kesepian di Panti Wreda Budi Sosial Kota Batam. Metode yang digunakan adalah terapi aktifitas kelompok pada lansia yaitu dengan membuat gelang dan meawarnai. Sebelum dan setelah kegiatan TAK Art Therapy lansia dilakukan pengukuran nilai kesepian dengan menggunakan instrumen UCLA Loneliness scale pada lansia dengan masalah kesepian. Kegiatan TAK Art therapy pada lansia di Panti Wreda Budi Sosial Kota Batam selama 4 hari berturut-turut dapat menurunkan kesepian. Terapi Aktivitas Kelompok (TAK) Art Therapy pada lansia dapat dilakukan oleh lansia dimana caregiver juga berperan dalam prosesnya. Sehingga dalam penatalaksanaan mengatasi kesepian pada lansia Art Therapy dapat dilakukan di panti werdha.
