Abstract

Gotong royong for the Indonesian people is one of the local wisdoms or local wisdom because gotong royong is a characteristic of the Indonesian people that distinguishes other nations. Gotong royong is a national character whose values are inherited from ancestors and these values have been embedded in the soul and have become the personality of the Indonesian nation since ancient times. In terms of solving the problems experienced by the Indonesian people, gotong royong is an alternative to overcome the problems that occur. Gotong royong at this time is not only interpreted in the form of community service, but is also interpreted in a broad sense, for example mutual cooperation in learning. In essence, humans are social beings who need other people in their lives. As social beings, humans need to help others who are experiencing difficulties. Learning based on the values of local wisdom, namely the value of mutual cooperation is very important to be instilled in all students. The implementation of the gotong royong character based on online collaborative learning can be applied to all subjects through activities carried out in groups, working together, sharing, and helping each other with fellow group members. Keywords: character; mutual cooperation; online collaborative learning

Abstract

Religious character education is an attempt to realize the religious values contained in the Qur'an and Al-Hadith into a person. The purpose of this study was to determine the process of religious character education in students at the Attarbiyah Al-Islamiyah elementary school and to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors. This research uses field research with a qualitative approach. The subjects in this study were 3 teachers, namely PAI teachers, homeroom teachers and foundation teachers. While the object of this research is the process of religious character education. Data collection techniques using interviews and documentation. as for data processing techniques are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and data verification. data analysis using descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that the process of religious character education for students in elementary schools at Attarbiyah Al-Islamiyah the teachers carry out several activities, namely learning activities such as respecting parents and teachers, routine activities such as reading prayer prayers, reading the Koran before studying, Friday piety. as well as congregational midday prayers, spontaneous activities such as behaving in a disciplined manner, exemplary and there is always motivation for students to behave religiously. The supporting factors are the personality of the teacher, the support from parents, the joint commitment of the school community, and adequate facilities. The inhibiting factors are electronic media and the lack of awareness of students. Keywords: Education; Character; Religious

Abstract

Science is a very important subject to be studied at the elementary level because it discusses events related to nature and the lives of students. The problem that often occurs is the low learning outcomes of students, especially in science subjects on the properties of light. When the teacher explains the material properties of light in class, many students do not understand, because students do not focus and feel bored with the lecture method. This study aims to determine the process of understanding and improving learning outcomes by using light box teaching aids for fourth grade elementary school students. This research was conducted in the fourth grade of SD at MI Al-Hidayah Surabaya with a total of 30 students. This research is a classroom action research. This research was conducted in two cycles. Many students do not understand the material and cannot explain in their own language so that the average score obtained by students at the pre-cycle stage is 53.1. After the action was carried out using light box props in the first cycle, the student's score increased to 73.5. Because it has not reached the KKM score of 75, cycle II is carried out. At the stage of the second cycle, students experienced an increase above the KKM, namely 86.7. The improvement in the second cycle has reached the target. This is proven by student achievement, so it can be concluded that the use of light box teaching aids can improve students' understanding and learning outcomes. Keywoards: understanding, learning outcomes, media

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has put the world of education in a state of concern. After online learning has been carried out for approximately two years, the government has again distributed circulars to conduct face-to-face learning on a limited basis so that students can attend schools to meet face-to-face learning with teachers but still adhere to health protocols and with restrictions on learning time. This study aims to determine and describe how to optimize teachers in face-to-face learning during the pandemic. This study uses a qualitative method that is field research located at SMPN 2 Kintap, Tanah Laut Regency. Informants in this study were teachers and students. While the data collection used through interviews, observation, and documentation. The validity of the research data was carried out by member checking, namely asking the informants from the results of interviews that had been conducted to be strengthened and corrected. While the data analysis techniques with data reduction, data presentation, and verification or drawing conclusions. The findings of this study conclude that the optimization of teachers in face-toface learning during the pandemic, namely: (1) teachers try to provide limited learning materials; (2) teachers use learning strategies and methods so that limited face-to-face learning continues in an orderly and smooth and effective manner; (3) teachers as motivators, and facilitators so that students remain enthusiastic even though faceto-face learning is limited. Keywords: Optimization; Limited Face-to-face Learning; Covid-19.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine Language Ability through Role Playing Method at Mutiara Bunda Early Childhood Education Jl.Kh Hasyim 4a Pademawu District, Pamekasan Regency, 2021-2022 Academic Year. Language is the ability to communicate with other people. In this sense, it includes all ways to communicate, where thoughts and feelings are expressed in the form of symbols or symbols to express an understanding, such as by using spoken, written, number signs, paintings, and facial expressions. The research method used in this research is qualitative. With research procedures that include preliminary studies, planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The result of this research is that the children's language ability level  at  JL.KH  Wachid  Hasyim  4A  Kec.  Pademawu  Kab.  Pamekasan  for  the  academic  year 2021/2022 as a whole has not experienced a significant improvement as the standard of research success that was previously set, it is proven that the implementation of the actions in Cycle I of children who got good grades from 6 to 40%, at adequate scores to 9 children was 60% and a low score was 0. 0% But In Cycle I This Increase Is Not In Accordance With What Was Expected. Keywords: reflection; qualitative; value; significant

Abstract

Islamic education is a process of developing the creative potential of students to become human beings of faith, piety, virtuous and have a high work ethic. All of them are evidence that Islamic education has experienced a satisfactory development, including educational tools or educational methods. Tsawab W'Iqab is an educational tool that is still applied to this day even though its existence is often misunderstood for guardians of students and is not infrequently misused for educators. This research was conducted using qualitative field research at Darussalam, Al-Falah and Yasin Islamic boarding schools. The subjects in this study were teachers and caregivers who had more authority over the application of tswab w'iqab at Islamic boarding schools in Darussalam, al-falah and yasin, as well as students who had received tswab w'iqab. Meanwhile, the object of this research is the way in which teachers and caregivers apply when there are students who receive tswab w'iqab and the form of tswab w'iqab that they do when applying tswab w'iqab at Islamic Boarding Schools Darussalam. Then the field data was extracted through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results showed that the application of tswab in building student discipline at the Islamic boarding school was by giving appreciation in the form of grades, trophies, certificates and scholarships to hadramaut Yemen. Abstract

Literacy is the formation of reading and writing skills that have been carried out since school children. The ability of children in terms of reading because children have a high curiosity to know something. Literacy is more than just reading and writing but includes thinking skills according to stages. The learning process using image media aims to improve literacy skills in 1st grade students of MI Muhammadiyah 5 Surabaya, with image media to make children interested in using media. And can provide broader insights with similar themes. This article aims to describe the use of image media to improve literacy skills in 1st grade students of MI Muhammadiyah 5 Surabaya which is used in data collection in the form of qualitative descriptive. Based on the research, it is shown that the use of image media can improve children's literacy skills in terms of reading and writing. Keywords: Image media; Literacy skills

Abstract

Learning with the blended learning model is a learning activity by combining face-to-face learning with virtual learning that is integrated with technology. The purpose of this study is to analyze the blended learning model in terms of student learning outcomes in elementary schools in Banjarbaru and what factors support and hinder the blended learning learning model. This type of research is a field research (field research) with a qualitative approach. The research subjects in this study were PAI teachers. The object of this research is the analysis of the blended learning model in terms of student learning outcomes. Data collection techniques in this study using observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the application of the blended learning model is less effective in terms of student learning outcomes who experience a decline. This is due to the lack of parental roles during the implementation of learning, whether it is due to infrastructure, learning time and parents' educational background. Keywords: blended learning model; student learning outcomes

Abstract

This study aims to determine the perceptions, expectations and satisfaction of parents on Islamic religious education in the era of Limited Face-to-face Learning at SDIT ANIC Banjarbaru. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The research location is SDIT ANIC Banjarbaru. The subjects in this study were parents, teachers, headmasters and students. The main informants are parents, while the supporting informants are teachers, school principals and students. The results showed that parents' perceptions of the Islamic religious education process in the Limited Face-to-face Learning era were classified as good. The expectations of parents are that schools do not only emphasize the learning process in the cognitive domain, but also in the affective and psychomotor domains, considering that the purpose of Islamic religious education is more emphasized in the affective and psychomotor domains. The satisfaction of parents with the process of Islamic religious education can be said to be satisfied. Keyword: Perceptions; Ekspectations; Satisfactions of Parents

Abstract

The study has an aim to analyze the multiple-choice questions in the final exam of Civic Education subject for the elementary school in Banjarnegara District. It applied a quantitative-descriptive approach. The sampling methods used here are random, stratified, and proportional sampling. From the sampling, it gave 10 schools, 4 core and 6 additional schools.  The qualitative analysis applied a review and the quantitative one used the computer software of ITEMAN 3.00 and the manual method. The result of qualitative analysis shows the questions have agreed with the standard, but need some improvements of materials, construction, and language/culture in some parts. The quantitative analysis proves that difference impact of the questions is poor (3%), satisfactory (11%), and good (86%). The questions difficulty level is too difficult (8,5%), moderate (68,5%), and too easy (23%). The effectiveness of the distractor in the question is effective (57%), ineffective (43%). The reliability of the items in a whole reaches 0,839, meaning the questions have a high consistence. From those results, it can be concluded that the questions are matched to the standard, but they need some improvements of materials, construction and language/culture. The questions have a good difference impact, a moderate difficulty, and an effective distractor. In addition, the questions are also highly reliable.
