Abstract

This study investigates the utilization of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in fostering inclusive education for students with disabilities. Drawing on current literature and visualized trends from 2018 to 2024, this research outlines the rapid growth of AI-related publications addressing inclusive pedagogy. The study maps the key technological applications—ranging from assistive tools and adaptive learning systems to virtual tutoring platforms—and identifies their pedagogical functions in supporting diverse learner needs. It further examines the ethical, infrastructural, and pedagogical challenges encountered in implementation, such as algorithmic bias, limited teacher training, and digital inequality. The findings reveal that AI can significantly enhance accessibility and autonomy for students with disabilities when applied through empathetic, well-regulated, and collaborative frameworks. This paper recommends the development of inclusive and participatory AI design, investment in teacher capacity building, and stronger policy infrastructure to ensure equitable access to AI-powered learning environments. Future directions highlight the importance of ethical considerations and the active involvement of marginalized communities in shaping inclusive digital ecosystems.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze content engagement and instructional effectiveness of YouTube channels utilized as platforms for teacher training. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach supported by quantitative data, the study evaluated 30 videos from 10 popular educational channels using content analysis and user engagement metrics. The findings reveal that videos lasting 5–10 minutes with a systematic narrative structure, illustrative visuals, interactive delivery, and the visual-auditory presence of instructors demonstrate the highest levels of instructional effectiveness and viewer retention. The average video completion rate reached 68%, and positive comments accounted for up to 82% of user feedback. In contrast, longer videos delivered in a monologic style tended to generate lower levels of engagement. These findings underscore the importance of instructional design in producing effective video-based teacher training content. The study recommends enhanced content curation and targeted training in educational video production for teachers and educational institutions to optimize YouTube’s potential as a platform for ongoing professional development.

Abstract

This study investigates the distribution patterns of higher education institutions across Central Java Province by utilizing available secondary data. Using a descriptive quantitative approach, the research analyzes the spatial distribution of institutions based on administrative regions, ownership status (public or private), and institutional type—namely universities, colleges, polytechnics, academies, and institutes. The findings demonstrate notable regional disparities, with higher education institutions largely concentrated in urban centers such as Semarang and Surakarta. In contrast, several regencies remain underserved, highlighting a pressing imbalance in educational infrastructure. A key observation is the dominance of private higher education institutions, which account for the majority of active providers in the province. Most of these are universities and colleges, pointing to a trend toward certain institutional models. This uneven distribution not only reflects geographical imbalances but also raises questions regarding access, equity, and the long-term development of human capital at the regional level. By offering a data-driven snapshot of institutional presence, this study serves as a foundational resource for policymakers, educators, and researchers. It emphasizes the importance of equitable educational planning and advocates for more inclusive policies that address gaps in higher education access. The research contributes to a broader discourse on regional development and educational equity in Indonesia.

Abstract

The growing integration of digital tools in education has encouraged primary school teachers to adopt more reflective teaching practices supported by technology. This study explores the effectiveness of Google Workspace in facilitating reflective practice among Indonesian primary school teachers. Employing a qualitative content analysis approach, the research draws upon secondary sources such as training modules, teacher-authored reflections, and digital media related to classroom experiences. The findings reveal that Google Docs and Google Forms are the most frequently used tools, accounting for 32.99% and 24.74% of occurrences, respectively. These tools are primarily used for individual reflection and data-based self-evaluation. In contrast, collaborative reflection through platforms like Google Meet and Jamboard appears less common. The study suggests that while Google Workspace effectively supports structured and text-based reflective activities, it remains underutilized in promoting dialogic or community-based reflection. Based on these findings, the paper recommends targeted professional development, greater emphasis on collaborative reflection using digital platforms, and the institutionalization of digital reflection as part of ongoing teacher development. In the digital era, Google Workspace presents promising potential as a pedagogical tool for fostering meaningful and sustainable reflective practices in primary education.

Abstract

The Javanese language is facing a critical decline among younger generations due to the accelerating forces of globalization and digitalization. This study investigates the current landscape, contributing factors to language attrition, and proposes innovative strategies for language preservation through the integration of digital technology and multicultural education within a postmodern context. Employing a Systematic Literature Review (SLR), the study synthesizes findings from 20 high-quality articles selected from an initial pool of 156 publications spanning the years 2019 to 2024. The results reveal that 40% of existing research emphasizes digital technology, with five primary causes of language decline identified: the dominance of digital media, weak intergenerational transmission, misaligned pedagogical approaches, social stigma, and the pervasive impact of globalization. Effective strategies include the promotion of digital literature, audiovisual learning media, digital learning platforms, and interactive storytelling. The study culminates in a Holistic Integration Model comprising five interrelated pillars: adaptive digital technology, transformative education, popular culture communities, regulatory policy frameworks, and continuous monitoring and evaluation. These components collectively support the development of a sustainable ecosystem for Javanese language revitalization.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and develop the role of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Student Association (HIMA PBSI) as a platform for literary development, particularly poetry, through creative writing training and the utilization of digital media. The background of this research is grounded in the low level of participation and productivity among PBSI students in producing literary works, despite their academic exposure to literary theory and language skills. This study employs a Research and Development (R&D) method with a descriptive qualitative and quantitative approach. The research subjects consist of students of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Program who are actively involved in HIMA PBSI. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The research procedure included stages of stimulation, problem identification, data collection, data processing, product trials, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that poetry creative writing training conducted through workshop-based methods significantly enhances students’ interest, participation, and writing competence. Furthermore, the utilization of digital media has proven effective as a platform for publication and appreciation of students’ literary works. Therefore, HIMA PBSI plays a strategic role in fostering digital literary literacy within the higher education environment.
