Abstract

Perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi saat ini merupakan salah satu fondasi kemajuan peradaban Islam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengumpulkan data mendalam mengenai karya-karya monumental umat Islam di bidang sains dan teknologi. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa untuk memahami kejayaan sains dan teknologi dalam Islam secara lebih utuh, pembahasan perlu disusun secara kronologis, dimulai dari era Khulafaur Rasyidin, dilanjutkan ke Dinasti Umayyah dan Abbasiyah, hingga Kesultanan Utsmaniyah. Berbagai tokoh Muslim telah menghasilkan karya di bidang matematika, astronomi, kedokteran, kimia, dan teknologi. Oleh karena itu, umat Islam memiliki peran penting dalam mengembangkan peradaban Islam.

Abstract

Sistem indra merupakan salah satu anugerah Allah Swt. yang sangat penting bagi manusia dalam memperoleh pengetahuan dan memahami realitas kehidupan. Al-Qur'an dan hadis memberikan perhatian besar terhadap fungsi indra, seperti pendengaran, penglihatan, dan hati sebagai sarana untuk menerima, mengolah, dan memahami informasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah ayat-ayat Al-Qur'an dan hadis yang berkaitan dengan sistem indra serta menjelaskan peran dan tanggung jawab manusia dalam menggunakan indra tersebut sesuai dengan ajaran Islam. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kepustakaan (library research) dengan pendekatan tafsir tematik terhadap ayat-ayat Al-Qur'an dan hadis yang relevan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa Al-Qur'an menempatkan pendengaran, penglihatan, dan hati sebagai instrumen utama dalam memperoleh ilmu pengetahuan dan mengenal kebesaran Allah Swt. Beberapa ayat, seperti QS. An-Nahl ayat 78 dan QS. Al-Isra' ayat 36, menegaskan bahwa manusia akan dimintai pertanggungjawaban atas penggunaan indra yang dimilikinya. Hadis-hadis Nabi Muhammad saw. juga mengajarkan pentingnya menjaga dan memanfaatkan indra untuk hal-hal yang bermanfaat serta menjauhkannya dari perbuatan yang dapat menyesatkan. Dengan demikian, sistem indra dalam perspektif Islam tidak hanya berfungsi secara biologis, tetapi juga memiliki dimensi moral dan spiritual yang harus digunakan untuk mencapai kebenaran dan meningkatkan ketakwaan kepada Allah Swt.

Abstract

Reason is a gift from Allah SWT that distinguishes humans from other creatures and is an important tool in understanding the truth and living life according to religious guidance. This study aims to examine the concept of human reason from the perspective of the Qur'an and Hadith, including its definition, position, function, commands for the use of reason, and its limitations in understanding Islamic teachings. This study uses a library research method with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were obtained from relevant verses of the Qur'an, hadith, commentaries, books, and scientific journals, then analyzed using content analysis techniques. The results show that Islam gives a very high position to reason and encourages humans to use it to understand the signs of God's greatness, develop knowledge, and distinguish between right and wrong. The Qur'an repeatedly commands humans to think, reflect, and learn lessons from various natural and life phenomena. However, reason has limitations, especially in understanding supernatural matters that are beyond human reach. Therefore, the use of reason must always be in harmony with revelation, namely the Quran and Hadith, in order to produce correct understanding and strengthen faith in Allah SWT.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of discipline and classroom management among Phase A students during the School Field Introduction Program (PLP) at SD Negeri 81 Palembang. The study employed a qualitative approach using direct observation during classroom learning activities. The findings revealed that students' discipline was still at an early stage of development, as indicated by behaviors such as lack of focus, frequent talking during lessons, and inconsistency in following classroom rules. Classroom management was implemented through the organization of the learning environment, time management, and instructional interactions. The discipline strategies applied included routine habituation, the establishment of simple classroom rules, and the provision of positive reinforcement. Furthermore, the study found that enjoyable and humanistic approaches were more effective in enhancing student engagement and discipline than authoritarian approaches. Internal factors, such as age, motivation, and students’ emotional conditions, as well as external factors, including teachers’ instructional styles and the learning environment, influenced the effectiveness of discipline implementation. Therefore, it can be concluded that successful learning in lower elementary grades is highly dependent on teachers’ ability to manage classrooms flexibly, communicate effectively, and foster students’ character development in a gradual and sustainable manner.

Abstract

This study examines the verses of the Qur’an and the Hadith of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) related to plants and their relevance to human life. In Islamic perspective, plants are understood as one of the signs of Allah’s greatness (ayat kauniyah) that play an essential role in human life, serving as sources of food, medicine, and environmental balance. This research uses a qualitative method with a library research approach, collecting data from various journals, books, and scientific articles without field observation. The findings show that the Qur’an frequently describes the process of plant growth as evidence of Allah’s power, as stated in Surah Al-An’am, Surah Yasin, and Surah Al-Baqarah. The Hadith also emphasize that planting and caring for trees are considered acts of worship and continuous charity (sadaqah jariyah) as long as they benefit living beings. Furthermore, plants are closely related to modern sciences such as biology and ecology, indicating harmony between divine revelation and scientific knowledge. This study highlights that plants have not only biological value but also spiritual, ecological, and social significance in human life. In conclusion, Islam strongly emphasizes the importance of preserving, protecting, and wisely utilizing plants as part of human responsibility as khalifah (vicegerent) on earth.

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum demands meaningful, student-centered learning; however, in practice, many elementary school teachers have yet to optimally implement innovative instructional approaches that foster higher-order thinking skills. The core problem of this study is how Deep Learning strategies can be effectively applied to Phase B students at SD Negeri 81 Palembang to support the Merdeka Curriculum implementation. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design within the framework of the Teaching Practicum Program (PLP). Students served as participatory observers and instructional implementers. Data were collected through participatory observation, semi-structured interviews, and instructional document analysis. Data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation. Data analysis followed the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña (2014), comprising data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that Deep Learning implementation in Phase B significantly improved higher-order thinking skills, active student engagement, and character development aligned with the Pancasila Student Profile. Teachers successfully transitioned from instructors to facilitators designing project-based, inquiry-driven, and reflective learning experiences. Challenges include limited teacher understanding, scarce adaptive instructional materials, and the need for a supportive school ecosystem. This study concludes that Deep Learning is an effective strategy for strengthening Merdeka Curriculum implementation in elementary schools, and PLP activities serve as a valid context for examining learning phenomena contextually.

Abstract

The qauliyah verses are revelations from Allah SWT contained in the Qur'an, while the kauniyah verses are signs of Allah's greatness found in the universe. This study aims to determine the relationship between the qauliyah verses and the kauniyah verses in the development of science and technology and the importance of integrating the two in modern life. The method used is qualitative research with a library research approach through data collection from books, journals, scientific articles, and other relevant sources. The results of the study indicate that the integration of the qauliyah verses and the kauniyah verses is important in the development of science and technology so that science is not only oriented towards material progress, but also based on spiritual, moral, and ethical values. The application of this integration can be found in the fields of education, health, environment, technology, and social life. Therefore, the integration of the two is necessary to realize the development of science and technology that is beneficial, balanced, and responsible for human life.

Abstract

Abstract Islamic ethics is a fundamental aspect of Islamic teachings which regulates moral values ​​and human behavior based on the Koran and hadith. This research aims to examine the concept of Islamic ethics, the relationship between science and humanity, and the role of science in realizing human benefit. The method used is library research using various scientific sources in the form of books, journals, articles and publications obtained through Google Scholar. The research results show that Islamic ethics functions as a guide for character formation and a harmonious social life. In an Islamic perspective, science is not only oriented towards developing knowledge, but also towards increasing human dignity and the welfare of society. The concept of benefit places knowledge as a means of protecting religion, soul, reason, lineage and property. The Qur'an and hadith also emphasize the importance of thinking logically, critically and having noble morals. Thus, the integration of Islamic ethics, science, and benefit becomes an important foundation in building a life that is just, harmonious, and oriented towards spiritual values

Abstract

Teacher professionalism is one of the main factors in determining the quality of education. Apart from mastering pedagogical and professional competencies, the teacher's personality also has an important role in supporting the success of the learning process. This research aims to examine teachers' positive personality development strategies as an effort to increase the professionalism of educators. The research uses a library research method with a descriptive-analytical qualitative approach. Data was obtained from various relevant scientific literature sources, such as books, journals and academic documents related to personality development and teacher professionalism. The results of the study show that positive personality development of teachers can be carried out through strengthening behavior, attitudes, traits, characteristics, and philosophy of the teaching profession. Efforts to increase professionalism are not only the responsibility of individual teachers, but also require school support through supervision, coaching professional organizations, as well as providing supporting facilities, and government support through improving qualifications, certification, training and teacher welfare. Thus, positive personality has a close relationship with teacher professionalism because it is the foundation for building integrity, responsibility and quality of educational services.

Abstract

Negative Stereotypes Regarding Gen Z's Work Ethic, Such As Laziness And Lack Of Discipline, Continue To Develop In Society And Potentially Influence The Identity Formation Of Young Generations. This Study Aims To Examine The Effectiveness Of Podcasts As A Medium For Transforming Students' Mindset, Taking A Case Study Of The Episode "Bahas Aja: Gen Z, Generasi Malas & Pengangguran?". The Method Used Is A Descriptive Quantitative Survey Through An Online Questionnaire (Google Forms) Distributed To Gen Z Students. Data Were Analyzed Using Percentages To See The Distribution Of Responses Across Four Main Indicators: Work Ethic Stereotypes, Study Habits And Discipline, Changes In Perspective After Listening To The Podcast, And The Relevance Of The Consistency Message. The Results Showed That 65% Of Respondents Acknowledged That Negative Stereotypes About Gen Z's Work Ethic Have A Basis In Social Reality, While 49% Rated Their Study Habits And Self-Discipline As Quite Good. More Significantly, All Respondents Reported A Change In Perspective After Listening To The Podcast (64% Changed, 36% Changed Moderately). All Respondents Also Rated The Message That Consistency Is More Important Than Talent As Relevant To Themselves. Furthermore, Respondents Rejected The Generalization Of The Label "Lazy" To All Gen Z Because They Consider Individual Context To Be Very Influential. Overall, The Podcast Proved Effective As A Means Of Transforming Students' Mindset, Particularly In Correcting Perceptions Of Generational Stereotypes And Instilling The Value Of Consistency. This Study Recommends The Use Of Podcasts As An Educational Intervention Medium In Higher Education Settings.
