Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendokumentasikan leksikal botani melalui kajian etnosemantik. Desain penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Penelitian ini menghasilkan produk melalui proses analisis masalah, mendesain dan mengembangkan suatu produk sebagai solusi terbaik, menilai kualitas produk, dan mengujicobakan produk yang dikembangkan.  Penelitian ini dilakukan sejak 9 November 2024 hingga 28 April 2025. Produk yang dihasilkan adalah ensiklopedia dengan pendekatan etnosemantik. Berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli: 1) desain ensiklopedia sudah menarik, 2) pemilihan font sudah tepat, 3) penerjemahan lema, penulisan lema bahasa asing dan bahasa daerah sudah tepat. Berdasarkan hasil validasi pengguna yaitu siswa dan guru, ensiklopedia ini memenuhi aspek keterbacaan dan aspek kemenarikan tampilan. Isi ensiklopedia memenuhi kriteria validasi data dan isi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, ensiklopedia ini dapat digunakan sebagai referensi. Ensiklopedia ini menjadi materi pembelajaran teks berbasis budaya, memahami kata sulit, dan pengembangan kota kata baru.Encyclopedia of Botany: An Ethnosemantic StudyThe purpose of this research is to document the botanical lexicon through ethnosemantic studies. The design of this research is research and development. The development model used is ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). This research produces products through the process of problem analysis, designing and developing a product as the best solution, assessing the quality of the product, and piloting the developed product. This research was conducted from November 9, 2024, to April 28, 2025. The resulting product is an encyclopedia with an ethnosemantic approach. Based on the results of expert validation: 1) the design of the encyclopedia is attractive, 2) the font selection is correct, and 3) the translation of lemmas, the writing of lemmas in foreign languages, and regional languages is appropriate. Based on the results of user validation, namely students and teachers, this encyclopedia meets the readability aspect and the attractiveness aspect of its appearance. The content of the encyclopedia meets the criteria for data and content validation. Based on the results of this research, this encyclopedia can be used as a reference. This encyclopedia is a material for learning culture-based texts, understanding difficult words, and developing new word cities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi wacana diplomatik Tiongkok dalam menyikapi perang dagang dengan Amerika Serikat (AS) melalui analisis tindak tutur yang didasarkan pada teori Searle. Fokus analisis adalah pernyataan juru bicara Kementerian Luar Negeri Tiongkok, Lin Jian, pada konferensi pers 8, 10, dan 14 April 2025. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, data dikumpulkan dari transkrip resmi dan dianalisis melalui model interaktif Miles dkk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tindak tutur asertif paling dominan, diikuti direktif, komisif, ekspresif, dan deklaratif. Fungsi dan makna tindak tutur asertif digunakan untuk membentuk persepsi global yang menggambarkan AS sebagai pihak irasional. Tindak tutur direktif berfungsi dan bermakna menunjukkan dorongan agar AS menghentikan kebijakan tarif dan memilih dialog. Fungi dan makna tindak tutur komisif untuk menegaskan komitmen Tiongkok dalam membela kepentingan nasional. Tindak tutur ekspresif berfungsi dan bermakna mengungkapkan emosi dan sikap Tiongkok. Fungsi dan makna tindak tutur deklaratif sebagai wujud tindakan langsung yang dilakukan pemerintah Tiongkok, misalnya dengan memberi sanksi berupa pembatasan visa bagi tentara AS. Temuan ini menunjukkan upaya Tiongkok dalam menyampaikan pandangan, membentuk opini global, dan menunjukkan sikap diplomatik melalui tindak tutur. Semua itu berperan penting dalam membangun status dan otoritas dalam wacana politik internasional. Studi ini menekankan bahwa bahasa diplomatik bersifat ideologis dan performatif. Studi ini memperkuat pemahaman bahwa bahasa diplomatik bukanlah cara komunikasi yang netral, tetapi alat yang digunakan oleh negara-negara untuk mengekspresikan sikap ideologis, membangun identitas, dan memengaruhi persepsi publik global. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan membandingkan wacana dari kedua negara dan mempertimbangkan aspek non-verbal yang dapat memengaruhi pesan diplomatik.China's Diplomatic Discourse Strategy in the Trade War with the United States: A Pragmatic PerspectiveThis study aims to analyze China's diplomatic discourse strategy in responding to the trade war with the United States (US) through speech act analysis based on Searle's theory. The focus of the analysis is the statements of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson, Lin Jian, at press conferences on April 8, 10, and 14, 2025. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected from official transcripts and analyzed through Miles et al.'s interactive model. The results show that assertive speech acts are the most dominant, followed by directives, commissives, expressives, and declaratives. The function and meaning of assertive speech acts are used to shape global perceptions that portray the US as irrational. Directive speech acts function and meaning to show encouragement for the US to stop tariff policies and choose dialogue. The function and meaning of commissive speech acts are to emphasize China's commitment to defending national interests. Expressive speech acts function and meaning to reveal China's emotions and attitudes. The function and meaning of declarative speech acts are a form of direct action taken by the Chinese government, for example, by imposing sanctions in the form of visa restrictions for US soldiers. These findings demonstrate China's efforts to convey views, shape global opinion, and demonstrate diplomatic attitudes through speech acts. All of these play a crucial role in constructing status and authority in international political discourse. This study emphasizes the ideological and performative nature of diplomatic language. This study reinforces the understanding that diplomatic language is not a neutral means of communication, but rather a tool used by states to express ideological stances, construct identities, and influence global public perception. Future research is recommended to compare the discourses of both countries and consider non-verbal aspects that may influence diplomatic messages.

Abstract

This study examines the integration of religious moderation values through flash fiction written by students. The research design used mixed methods involving 25 students. The data collected consisted of quantitative and qualitative data. Data were collected through a questionnaire related to students' understanding of religious moderation. The results of the initial questionnaire became the basis for teachers in delivering the material to students. After being given the material, students were asked to create a short story containing religious moderation. After completing the story, students were asked to complete a questionnaire containing three questions related to their understanding of religious moderation, its application in the story, and its application in everyday life. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, while qualitative data were analyzed using thematic analysis. The results showed a strong understanding of religious moderation and creative application of it in narratives. Quantitative findings showed an average increase of 20%. These results indicate that flash fiction is a promising educational tool for promoting religious moderation. The initial survey results showed that most students had experienced incidents of intolerance. Data from student-generated stories indicate that the majority of students understand religious moderation as "accepting and respecting the beliefs of others," practicing tolerance through fictional stories, and applying it in daily life. Religious moderation can be effectively implemented through learning models, such as writing flash fiction. Practically, this study offers a replicable framework for educators to integrate moral education into literacy development. These findings suggest that implementing student-centered activities, such as flash fiction, into the curriculum can foster empathy, tolerance, and social harmony in diverse classroom environments. The results of this study are expected to provide alternatives for teachers when teaching the same or other materials.Menggali Moderasi Beragama melalui Karya Flash Fiction SiswaPenelitian ini mengkaji integrasi nilai-nilai moderasi beragama melalui flash fiction yang ditulis oleh siswa. Desain penelitian menggunakan mixed methods yang melibatkan 25 siswa. Data yang dikumpulkan terdiri dari data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket terkait pemahaman siswa tentang moderasi beragama. Hasil angket awal menjadi dasar bagi guru dalam menyampaikan materi kepada siswa. Setelah diberi materi, siswa diminta untuk membuat cerita pendek yang memuat moderasi beragama. Selesai membuat cerita, siswa diminta mengisi angket yang memuat tiga pertanyaan terkait pemahaman moderasi beragma, penerapannya dalam cerita, dan penerapannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Data kuantitatif dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif, sedangkan data kualitatif dianalisis menggunakan analisis tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemahaman yang kuat tentang moderasi beragama dan secara kreatif menerapkannya dalam narasi. Temuan kuantitatif menunjukkan peningkatan rerata sebesar 20%. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa flash fiction merupakan alat edukatif yang menjanjikan untuk mempromosikan moderasi beragama. Hasil survei awal menunjukkan bahwa Sebagian besar siswa pernah mengalami peristiwa intoleransi. Data dari cerita yang dibuat oleh siswa menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas siswa memahami moderasi beragama sebagai "menerima dan menghormati keyakinan orang lain", menerapkan toleransi melalui cerita fiksi, dan menerapkannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Moderasi beragama dapat diterapkan secara efektif melalui model pembelajaran, seperti penulisan fiksi kilat. Secara praktis, studi ini menawarkan kerangka kerja yang dapat direplikasi bagi para pendidik untuk mengintegrasikan pendidikan moral ke dalam pengembangan literasi. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan kegiatan yang berpusat pada siswa, seperti fiksi kilat, ke dalam kurikulum dapat mendorong empati, toleransi, dan harmoni sosial dalam beragam lingkungan kelas. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi alternatif bagi guru ketika mengajar materi yang sama atau materi lain.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengevaluasi integrasi Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) dalam buku teks Bahasa Indonesia untuk SMA pada Kurikulum 2013 dan Kurikulum Merdeka. Dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dan merujuk pada taksonomi Bloom yang direvisi, dua buku teks dianalisis berdasarkan indikator menganalisis dan mengevaluasi. Buku Kurikulum 2013 edisi 2014 memuat 78 soal, terdiri atas 17 soal menganalisis dan 37 mengevaluasi. Buku Kurikulum Merdeka edisi 2021 mencakup 55 soal, dengan 14 soal menganalisis dan 32 mengevaluasi. Meski jumlah soal lebih sedikit, Kurikulum Merdeka menunjukkan pendalaman aspek evaluasi kritis. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penyusunan panduan nasional HOTS, pelatihan guru dalam asesmen kontekstual, serta kolaborasi antara pemangku kebijakan dan praktisi pendidikan untuk menguatkan literasi kritis dan daya saing global siswa.Comparison of HOTS Integration Quality in Indonesian Language Textbooks for Senior High School: Evaluation Based on 2013 Curriculum and Independent Curriculum  This study evaluates the integration of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) in Indonesian language textbooks for senior high school students under the 2013 Curriculum and the Merdeka Curriculum. Using a qualitative descriptive approach and the revised Bloom’s taxonomy, two textbooks were analyzed based on indicators of analyzing and evaluating. The 2013 Curriculum textbook (2014 edition) contains 78 questions, including 17 analyzing and 37 evaluating questions. The Merdeka Curriculum textbook (2021 edition) includes 55 questions, with 14 analyzing and 32 evaluating items. Despite having fewer questions, the Merdeka Curriculum demonstrates deeper critical evaluation. The study recommends: (1) the development of a national operational guide for HOTS-based item writing, (2) teacher training on contextual assessment design, and (3) sustained collaboration among curriculum developers, academics, and practitioners to strengthen critical literacy and students’ global competitiveness.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan memetakan dan membongkar jejaring pertarungan wacana tentang penulis sastra populer Indonesia bernama Tere Liye di platform media sosial X (sebelumnya Twitter). Untuk membongkar wacana tersebut, penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan tentang arena produksi kultural dan resepsi pembaca dengan metode analisis jejaring wacana (discourse network analysis) melalui aplikasi DNA Analyzer 3.0. Objek penelitian merupakan 280 cuitan yang diambil dari balasan terhadap 11 utas berkaitan tentang polemik Tere Liye di media sosial X menggunakan Python. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa diskursus mengenai Tere Liye di media sosial X terbagi ke dalam sepuluh wacana utama yang memperlihatkan pertarungan simbolik antara kubu pro dan kontra Tere Liye. Dari sepuluh wacana tersebut, sebagian pembaca memutuskan untuk berhenti membaca karya Tere Liye karena persona penulis yang dianggap problematik. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa media sosial telah mengubah hubungan antara penulis dan pembaca menjadi lebih kompleks karena pembaca tidak lagi pasif, tetapi menjadi aktor aktif yang memproduksi makna, memberi legitimasi simbolik, dan bahkan melakukan cancel culture terhadap figur penulis sastra populer. Between Persona and Work: The Network of Discourse Battles about Tere Liye on Social Media Platform X This article maps and reveals the network of discourse battles surrounding the popular Indonesian literary writer Tere Liye on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter). To trace these discourses, this study employs an approach based on the arena of cultural production and reader reception theory, using the discourse network analysis method through the DNA Analyzer 3.0 application. The data consist of 280 tweets collected from replies to 11 threads related to the Tere Liye polemic on social media X, retrieved using Python. The results show that discussions about Tere Liye on social media X are divided into ten main discourses that display symbolic battles between pro- and anti-Tere Liye camps. Among the ten discourses, some readers decided to stop reading Tere Liye's works because the author's public persona was deemed problematic. This finding suggests that social media has transformed the relationship between writers and readers into a more complex dynamic, as readers are no longer passive consumers but have become active agents who produce meaning, confer symbolic legitimacy, and even engage in cancel culture against popular literary writers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan desain dan mengetahui efektivitas media papan flanel muatan materi kalimat fakta dan opini pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, sebagai media pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar (SD). Metode penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model ADDIE. Dilaksanakan di SDN Sekaran 01 Kota Semarang, uji coba produk skala kecil dilakukan pada 10 siswa kelas IVA dan uji coba pemakaian produk skala besar pada 28 siswa kelas IVB. Pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, penyebaran angket validasi dan respons, tes, wawancara serta dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media papan flanel memperoleh nilai kelayakan sebesar 96% oleh ahli media dan 92% oleh ahli materi. Hasil uji coba kelompok besar diperoleh nilai rata-rata 56,79 pada pretest dan pada posttest nilai rata-rata meningkat menjadi 88,07. Hal ini, menjadi bukti bahwa media papan flanel muatan materi kalimat fakta dan opini pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia efektif dan layak digunakan sebagai media alternatif strategis dalam pembelajaran berbasis praktik langsung, serta disarankan untuk digunakan dan dikembangkan lebih lanjut dalam pembelajaran keterampilan berbahasa di sekolah dasar.Development of Flannel Board Media on Speaking Skills for Elementary School StudentsThis study aims to develop a design and determine the effectiveness of flannel board media content of fact and opinion sentences in Indonesian language subjects, as a learning medium to improve the speaking skills of grade IV elementary school (SD) students. This development research method uses the ADDIE model. This research was conducted for 1 month at SDN Sekaran 01 Semarang, with a small-scale trial conducted on 10 students of class IVA and a large-scale product usage trial on 28 students of class IVB. Data collection included observation, questionnaires, tests, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the flannel board media obtained a feasibility score of 96% by media experts and 92% by material experts. The results of the large group trial obtained an average value of 56.79 on the pretest, and on the posttest, the average value increased to 88.07. This is evidence that the flannel board media content of fact and opinion sentences in Indonesian language subjects is effective and feasible to use as a strategic alternative media in hands-on practice-based learning, and it is recommended to be used and developed further, especially in learning language skills in elementary schools.

Abstract

Instagram menjadi salah satu platform untuk individu dalam menyampaikan doa secara publik melalui teks, gambar, maupun video. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji ekspresi doa di Instagram dengan pendekatan pragmatik, berdasarkan teori permohonan dan kesantunan oleh Brown dan Levinson (1987). Fokusnya adalah mengidentifikasi bentuk permohonan langsung dan tidak langsung dalam doa berbahasa Indonesia dan Jawa. Data diambil dari 100 postingan Instagram, termasuk caption pada reels dan feeds, serta komentar. Komentar yang dipilih berkriteria: (1) ditulis dalam bahasa Indonesia atau Jawa; (2) mengandung ekspresi permohonan kepada Tuhan (doa); (3) bersifat publik dan dapat diakses tanpa batasan akun pribadi; serta (4) tidak mengandung unsur iklan, promosi, atau spam. Data dianalisis dari segi struktur kebahasaan dan strategi kesantunan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa permohonan langsung lebih dominan. Dalam bahasa Indonesia, kedua bentuk muncul seimbang dan sering disertai ungkapan santun, seperti semoga atau mohon doanya. Adapun dalam bahasa Jawa cenderung menggunakan permohonan tidak langsung sebagai bentuk kesantunan. Ekspresi doa di Instagram menunjukkan variasi strategi komunikasi yang dipengaruhi oleh bahasa, budaya, dan konteks sosial pengguna. Strategi direct request lebih sering digunakan dalam situasi yang mendesak atau personal. Strategi indirect request cenderung muncul dalam konteks yang lebih reflektif, sopan, dan berbasis budaya. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa meskipun media sosial bersifat cepat dan informal, ekspresi doa tetap mencerminkan nilai-nilai kesantunan, norma budaya, serta kedekatan relasi spiritual dengan Tuhan. Temuan ini dapat dimanfaatkan oleh para pendakwah digital, content creator religius, serta pengelola akun keislaman dalam merancang konten dakwah. Politeness Strategy in Digital Prayer Expression: Pragmatic Analysis on InstagramInstagram has become a platform for individuals to publicly express their prayers through text, images, and videos. This study aims to examine prayer expressions on Instagram using a pragmatic approach, based on the theory of requests and politeness by Brown and Levinson (1987). The focus is to identify direct and indirect forms of requests in Indonesian and Javanese prayers. Data were taken from 100 Instagram posts, including captions on reels and feeds, as well as comments. Comments were selected based on the following criteria: (1) written in Indonesian or Javanese; (2) containing expressions of requests to God (prayer); (3) public and accessible without personal account restrictions; and (4) not containing elements of advertising, promotion, or spam. The data were analyzed in terms of linguistic structure and politeness strategies. The results show that direct requests are more dominant. In Indonesian, both forms appear equally and are often accompanied by polite expressions, such as "harap" (hopefully) or "mohon doanya" (please pray). Javanese, on the other hand, tend to use indirect requests as a form of politeness. Prayer expressions on Instagram show a variety of communication strategies influenced by the user's language, culture, and social context. The direct request strategy is more often used in urgent or personal situations. Indirect request strategies tend to emerge in more reflective, polite, and culturally informed contexts. These findings suggest that despite the fast-paced and informal nature of social media, expressions of prayer still reflect values of politeness, cultural norms, and a close spiritual relationship with God. These findings can be utilized by digital preachers, religious content creators, and Islamic account managers in designing preaching content.

Abstract

Evaluasi hasil belajar melalui Ujian Akhir Semester (UAS) perlu dianalisis untuk memastikan kualitas instrumen soal yang digunakan dalam mengukur kompetensi siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis validitas, reliabilitas, tingkat kesukaran, daya beda, dan keberfungsian pengecoh soal UAS Bahasa Indonesia di SMA Negeri 1 Torjun. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif analitik. Data diperoleh dari kisi-kisi soal dan lembar jawaban siswa kelas XII melalui aplikasi bimasoft, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan SPSS dan aplikasi bimasoft. Uji validitas dan reliabilitas dilakukan menggunakan program SPSS, sementara analisis tingkat kesukaran, daya beda, dan pengecoh dikerjakan secara manual.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 40 soal yang dianalisis, hanya 24 soal yang valid. Reliabilitas tes dinyatakan baik dengan nilai Cronbach’s Alpha 0,780 yang menunjukkan konsistensi instrumen. Analisis daya beda memperlihatkan 3 soal kategori baik, 13 soal sedang, 7 soal cukup, dan 6 soal buruk atau gugur. Tingkat kesukaran menunjukkan 13 soal sukar, 7 soal sedang, dan 6 soal mudah. Analisis pengecoh mengungkapkan 13 soal memiliki pengecoh yang berfungsi baik. Sehingga dapat dikatakan, instrumen soal UAS Bahasa Indonesia di SMA Negeri 1 Torjun cukup reliabel namun masih banyak soal yang perlu direvisi karena tidak valid atau memiliki daya beda rendah. Soal yang terlalu sukar maupun terlalu mudah perlu disesuaikan agar lebih representatif dalam mengukur kemampuan siswa. Penelitian ini bermanfaat bagi guru dan pengembang soal untuk memperbaiki kualitas instrumen evaluasi pembelajaran sehingga hasil penilaian lebih adil dan akurat.Culturally Responsive Teaching Approach in Indonesian Language LearningEvaluation of learning outcomes through the Final Semester Examination (UAS) needs to be analyzed to ensure the quality of the question instruments used to measure student competency. This study aims to analyze the validity, reliability, difficulty level, discrimination power, and distractor functionality of the Indonesian Language UAS questions at SMA Negeri 1 Torjun. The research method uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive analytical design. Data were obtained from the question grids and answer sheets of grade XII students through the bimasoft application, then analyzed using SPSS and the bimasoft application. Validity and reliability tests were carried out using the SPSS program, while the analysis of the difficulty level, discrimination power, and distractors was done manually. The results showed that of the 40 questions analyzed, only 24 questions were valid. The test reliability was declared good with a Cronbach's Alpha value of 0.780, which indicates instrument consistency. The discrimination power analysis showed 3 questions were categorized as good, 13 questions were moderate, 7 questions were sufficient, and 6 questions were poor or failed. The difficulty level showed that 13 questions were difficult, 7 questions were moderate, and 6 questions were easy. The distractor analysis revealed that 13 questions had functioning distractors. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Indonesian Language Final Exam (UAS) instrument at SMA Negeri 1 Torjun is quite reliable, but many questions still need revision due to invalidity or low discrimination. Questions that are too difficult or too easy need to be adjusted to more accurately measure student abilities. This research is useful for teachers and question developers to improve the quality of learning evaluation instruments so that assessment results are fairer and more accurate.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh meningkatnya fenomena intoleransi, radikalisme, dan disintegrasi sosial di masyarakat Indonesia yang turut memengaruhi dunia pendidikan dan kehidupan budaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan representasi sikap moderat dalam novel-novel Ahmad Tohari serta menjelaskan dimensi sosiologis yang melatarbelakangi kemunculan representasi tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode kajian sosiologi sastra Ian Watt yang menekankan pada tiga aspek: latar belakang sosial pengarang, sastra sebagai cermin masyarakat, dan fungsi sosial sastra. Sumber data berupa novel Kubah, Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk, Orang-orang Proyek, Bekisar Merah, Di Kaki Bukit Cibalak, dan Lingkar Tanah Lingkar Air. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui studi pustaka dan analisis dokumen, sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan model analisis interaktif Miles & Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan simpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa novel-novel Ahmad Tohari merepresentasikan tiga indikator utama sikap moderat, yaitu: (1) keseimbangan (tawazun) antara tradisi dan modernitas serta antara hak individu dan kepentingan kolektif; (2) toleransi (tasamuh) dalam bentuk penghormatan terhadap perbedaan keyakinan dan budaya tanpa kehilangan identitas; serta (3) anti-kekerasan (la ‘unf) yang ditunjukkan melalui resistensi tokoh terhadap tindakan anarkis dan pemaksaan kehendak. Representasi sikap moderat tersebut tidak terlepas dari latar belakang sosial budaya Ahmad Tohari sebagai pengarang yang tumbuh dalam tradisi pesantren dan masyarakat agraris Banyumas yang menjunjung tinggi nilai musyawarah dan keterbukaan. Simpulan penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa novel-novel Ahmad Tohari dapat berfungsi sebagai medium penanaman wawasan kebangsaan dan sikap moderat sehingga layak dijadikan bahan ajar sastra di sekolah maupun perguruan tinggi. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya eksplorasi lebih lanjut mengenai implementasi nilai-nilai moderat dari karya sastra ke dalam model pembelajaran berbasis karakter. Representation of Moderate Attitudes in Ahmad Tohari's Novels: A Sociological Study of Literature This research is motivated by the increasing phenomenon of intolerance, radicalism, and social disintegration in Indonesian society, which also affects the world of education and cultural life. This study aims to describe the representation of moderate attitudes in Ahmad Tohari's novels and explain the sociological dimensions behind the emergence of these representations. This study uses a qualitative approach with Ian Watt's sociological study method of literature that emphasizes three aspects: the author's social background, literature as a reflection of society, and the social function of literature. Data sources are the novels Kubah, Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk, Orang-orang Proyek, Bekisar Merah, Di Kaki Bukit Cibalak, and Lingkar Tanah Lingkar Air. Data collection techniques are carried out through literature studies and document analysis, while data analysis techniques use the Miles & Huberman interactive analysis model which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that Ahmad Tohari's novels represent three main indicators of a moderate attitude: (1) balance (tawazun) between tradition and modernity, and between individual rights and collective interests; (2) tolerance (tasamuh) in the form of respect for differences in beliefs and cultures without losing identity; and (3) non-violence (la 'unf), demonstrated through the characters' resistance to anarchic actions and coercion. This representation of a moderate attitude is inseparable from Ahmad Tohari's socio-cultural background as an author who grew up in the Islamic boarding school tradition and the Banyumas agrarian society that upholds the values of deliberation and openness. The conclusion of this study confirms that Ahmad Tohari's novels can function as a medium for cultivating national insight and a moderate attitude, making them suitable as literature teaching materials in schools and universities. This study recommends the need for further exploration of the implementation of moderate values from literary works into character-based learning models.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pengaruh pembelajaran berdiferensiasi terhadap keterampilan menulis puisi siswa. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan April 2025 di SMA Negeri 5 Cirebon selama dua minggu dengan dua kali pertemuan di kelas. Metode yang digunakan adalah mixed methods dengan desain convergent parallel. Sampel ditentukan secara acak, terdiri dari 33 siswa kelas XI.11 (kelas eksperimen) dan 26 siswa kelas XI.9 (kelas kontrol). Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi tes menulis puisi untuk memperoleh data kuantitatif. Lembar observasi, pedoman wawancara, serta angket untuk memperoleh data kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan keterampilan menulis puisi antara kelas eksperimen dan kontrol (p < 0,05), dengan hasil lebih tinggi pada kelas eksperimen. Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi berpengaruh positif terhadap keterampilan menulis puisi siswa SMA. Siswa yang berpartisipasi dalam pembelajaran berdiferensiasi memperlihatkan peningkatan kualitas dalam penulisan puisi dibandingkan dengan yang belajar secara konvensional. Selama pembelajaran, siswa menunjukkan keterlibatan aktif dan beragam sesuai dengan kebutuhan serta gaya belajar masing-masing. Persepsi siswa terhadap model ini cenderung positif karena mampu meningkatkan motivasi, kreativitas, dan pemahaman dalam menulis puisi. Implikasi praktis dari temuan ini, guru disarankan mengimplementasikan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi supaya responsif terhadap kebutuhan, minat, dan gaya belajar siswa.Differentiated Learning in Poetry Writing Skills in High SchoolThe purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of differentiated learning on students' poetry writing skills. The study was conducted in April 2025 at SMA Negeri 5 Cirebon for two weeks with two class meetings. The method used was mixed methods with a convergent parallel design. The sample was randomly determined, consisting of 33 students of grade XI.11 (experimental class) and 26 students of grade XI.9 (control class). The instruments used included a poetry writing test to obtain quantitative data. Observation sheets, interview guidelines, and questionnaires to obtain qualitative data. The results showed that there was a significant difference in poetry writing skills between the experimental and control classes (p < 0.05), with higher results in the experimental class. Differentiated learning had a positive effect on high school students' poetry writing skills. Students who participated in differentiated learning showed an increase in the quality of their poetry writing compared to those who learned conventionally. During learning, students showed active and varied involvement according to their individual needs and learning styles. Students' perceptions of this model tended to be positive because it was able to increase motivation, creativity, and understanding in writing poetry. The practical implication of this finding is that teachers are advised to implement differentiated learning to be responsive to students' needs, interests, and learning styles.
