Abstract

The purpose of this research are (1) to analyze the learning quality of problem based learning model which is accompanied by gave remedial teaching, (2) to described remedial teaching process a follow up diagnostic assessment, and (3) to analyze the ability of solving mathematical problems students are reviewed from cognitive style. This research is a mixed method research of concurrent embedded types. The research population were students of class XI MIPA SMA 1 Bojong Tegal. The result of mathematical problem solving ability test was analyzed qualitatively using mean test, comprehensive test, mean deviation test, and deviation proportion test Result of this research shows learning quality of PBL learning model with remedial teaching is considered well both qualitatively and quantitatively. The provision of diagnostic tests and remedial teaching treatment is effective to improve problem solving abilities, and the problem solving ability of independent field students is better than field dependent students.

Abstract

This paper aims to measure students' high-level thinking skills through the level of pre-service mathematics teachers. The author used the Marzano HOTS level which is divided into five dimensions of thinking ability; (1) decision making, (2) problem solving, (3) error analysis, (4) abstraction, and (5) perspective analysis and classification. The instrument used was adapted from Marzano Rubrics for Specific Tasks or Situations (1993). This research is a quantitative research that involved 53 students of the Mathematics Education Department, STAIN Gajah Putih. The results of the study indicate that the ability to think on high-level of the pre-service teacher is at the moderate and low levels.

Abstract

The importance of the ability to think critically in mathematics learning is contrary to the fact that the development of these abilities is still not optimal. Not many teachers creatively develop critical thinking skills during the learning process. The consequence of the implementation of the 2013 curriculum is the use of a scientific approach to learning, including mathematics. Steps in scientific learning include: (1) observing; (2) ask; (3) collecting information; (4) associate; and (5) communicating. These five steps provide great opportunities for students to be able to develop mathematical critical thinking skills. This study describes the implementation of a scientific approach in learning mathematics, especially in improving mathematical critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar dan soal tes berbasis online yang valid dan efektif. Selanjutnya akan digunakan untuk mempersiapkan Siswa menghadapi Ujian berbasis Komputer. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model pengembangan Dick & Carey. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui lembar validasi perangkat pembelajaran oleh ahli, lembar keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, angket kesiapan siswa, dan tes prestasi belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran matematika valid dan efektif dalam mempersiapkan siswa dalam menghadapi ujian berbasis komputer dan meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa. Skor penilaian bahan ajar dan tes prestasi belajar oleh ahli pertama sebesar 107, 84 dan skor penilaian oleh ahli kedua sebesar 108, 84 dengan kategori baik untuk masing-masing bahan ajar. Rata-rata skor kesiapan siswa sebesar 83,3 dengan kategori baik. Rata-rata nilai tes restasi belajar siswa kelas sebesar 75,5 dan 75 dengan kategori baik. dan 81% siswa memenuhi nilai KKM.

Abstract

This study aims to develop learning media with macromedia flash on the subject of kapita selekta matematika dasar. The stage of learning media development is ADD (Analysis, Design, Development). Activities at the analysis stage include needs analysis and needs identification. The design phase of the researcher carried out four activities, namely collecting references, composing text, selecting media and media design. Whereas for the development stage, namely realizing the design into a product and then being assessed by two validators with 1 media expert and 1 material expert. Data collection was carried out through learning media validation sheets and data analysis techniques were carried out in a qualitative way with descriptive methods. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah pengaruh penerapan project based learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif calon guru matematika dalam mengembangkan bahan ajar matematika. Desain penelitian ini adalah one-shot case study. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh mahasiswa Jurusan Tadris Matematika IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon pada semester genap tahun akademik 2017/2018 dengan populasi terjangkau adalah mahasiswa jurusan Tadris Matematika IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon yang mengambil mata kuliah pengembangan bahan ajar matematika pada semester genap tahun akademik 2017/2018 yakni sebanyak empat kelas yang berjumlah 138 orang mahasiswa. Dari populasi terjangkau dipilih satu kelas sampel dengan teknik cluster random sampling, yaitu mahasiswa kelas C yang mengikuti mata kuliah pengembangan bahan ajar matematika sebanyak 35 mahasiswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan angket respon mahasiswa terhadap penerapan project based learning.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan project based learning berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif guru matematika dalam mengembangkan bahan ajar matematika.  Keywords: berpikir kreatif, project based learning, bahan ajar, matematika

Abstract

This research produces a product of interactive math-based learning media flash CS6 to improve students' reasoning in learning mathematics. Methods used are Research and Development with (1) self evaluation, (2) prototyping (expert review, one-to-one, and small group), and (3) field test. Based on research results, then it can be concluded that the developed learning media already valid and effective in improving students' mathematical reasoning abilities. Based on field tests, there are significant differences in the average students before and after using flash, in other words learning media based adobe Flash effectively improve students' reasoning abilities in the concept of geometry.Keywords:  Reasearch & Development Adobe Flash Penalaran Matematis

Abstract

This research motivated by the low of students’ mathematical problem-solving ability and the utilization of learning media based on technology that was not maximum. Preparation of learning materials in the form of the interactive digital module was one of the ways can overcome that problem. The method that used in this research was RnD with the design model ADDIE that was analysis, development of implementation design and evaluation with the restrictions of not doing the implementation stage. The instrument of collecting data in this research was the form of validation and the form of practicalities of the user senior high school students that has to get the material of linear inequality absolute value. The data that was taken though with statistics descriptive way. The validation result of the digital module gets ratings in the amount of 83,33% from media expert and 85,57% from a material expert. This interactive digital module was decent to use and very practical with the average percentage for students’ high cognitive ability 88,77%,  medium 89,49%, and low 82,97%.  Whereas the other user that was mathematics teacher give the percentage 84,78% so, according to them this digital module was very practical.

Abstract

Seeing students' mathematical connection ability is low, indicating that students' ability to study mathematics is also low. The media that fits this condition is the learning module. The research problem formulation is whether the development of guided inquiry based straight line equation learning can improve the mathematical connection ability of class VIII students?. The purpose of this research is to know module learning development equation-based guided inquiry straight line can improve the ability of class VIII student of mathematical connections. This research is through the Research and Development (R and D) research process. The subject of this research is the State Middle School students 3 Unggul Ingin Jaya as many as 20 students. The analysis in this study uses a questionnaire for students, the feasibility of a learning module that is an assessment by an expert (validator) using a questionnaire validity of material experts, student learning outcomes, student responses to the learning module. The results of the validator's assessment state an average of 3.45 in the valid category, while the average value of 3,25 in the category is quite effective. The average N-gain value of the experimental class is 0,36 compared to the N-gain average of the control class 0.33. The conclusions in this study are the development of a module of straight line equations with an inquiry approach can improve the mathematical connection ability of class VIII students of Middle School. Keywords: Module development equation of a straight line, connection matematics, Inquiry

Abstract

Competition in the business world, especially in the pharmacy industry, requires developers to find a strategy that can increase sales of special drug sales by maximizing service to consumers. One way is to keep the availability of various types of drugs in the pharmacy warehouse. To find out what medicines are purchased by consumers, it can be done using basket analysis techniques, namely analysis of consumer buying habits. Detection of drugs that are often bought together is called the association rule. Medication is an important factor whose availability must be controlled properly in a hospital. The availability of drugs at the hospital will support hospital performance. One of the data mining methods that can be used from the above analysis is the clustering method, which is grouping data items into small groups so that each group has an essential equation. The evaluation results from this study are grouping drug data with clustering techniques to facilitate the process of grouping drugs based on drugs that are often used in a certain period of time
