Abstract

Kegiatan PPL sangat strategis untuk mengasah kemampuan calon guru. Kenyataannya kegiatan PPL belum mengacu kepada perspektif atau konsep kemampuan guru yang jelas dan terukur. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui kinerja praktikan mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Tarbiyah dan Keguruan (FITK) IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon dalam kegiatan PPL di sekolah dengan menggunakan perspektif guru efektif sehingga model konseptual tentang program pesiapan PPL dapat disusun dan diberikan sebelum mahasiswa diterjunkan untuk mengikuti kegiatan praktek lapangan. Penelitian ini didesain secara kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode penelitian evaluatif. Data diperoleh melalui dua kelompok respondents. Pertama, the respondents dari peserta PPL dipilih secara random sebanyak 36 orang untuk mengisi angket tentang keterampilan guru perspektif. Kedua, 80 responden dari guru pamong diberi angket tentang kinerja dan kompetensi praktikan perspektif guru efektif. Temuan penelitian menunjukan bahwa dari 5 aspek indikator guru efektif, 60% responden kurang efektif terkait komponen kepribadian; 65% belum efektif dalam mengelola kelas; 61.9% belum efektif dalam merencanakan pembelajaran; 62% belum efektif dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran; 66% belum efektif dalam memantau kemajuan siswa. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi dasar untuk mengembangkan praktek pengalaman calon guru dengan mengacu kepada perspektif tertentu.Kata kunci: effective teaching, initial teacher training, training development A Field Experience Practice activity is very strategic to develop the competence of prospective teachers. In fact, the Field Experience Practice have not referred to the perspective or concept of clear and measurable teacher competence. This study aimed to investigate the performance of practicing students of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training (FITK) IAIN Syeikh Nurjati Cirebon in the Field Experience Practice activity at schools using the perspective of effective teachers, so that a conceptual model of the Field Experience Practice preparation program can be developed and provided before students are deployed to follow field practice activities. This research was designed quantitatively using the evaluative research method. Data were obtained through two groups of respondents. First, the respondents from the participants of Field Experience Practice were randomly selected consisting of 36 people to fill out questionnaires about the skills of perspective teachers. Second, 80 respondents coming from mentor teachers were given questionnaires about the performance and participant competence of effective teacher perspectives. The findings show that of the 5 aspects of effective teacher indicators, 60% of respondents were less effective related to the personality component; 65% of respondents have not been effective yet in managing the classroom; 61.9% of the respondents have not been effective yet in planning lessons; 62% of the respondents have not been effective yet in implementing instruction; and 66% of the students have not been effective yet in monitoring student progress. The results of this study can serve as a basis for developing prospective teachers' experiential practices by referring to certain perspectives. Abstract

Mengajar bahasa Inggris sesuai konteks menjadi isu penting terutama bagi siswa yang berlatar belakang Islam. Gagasan untuk memasukkan nilai-nilai religius dalam materi pembelajaran sangat penting untuk memotivasi siswa serta untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran bahasa Inggris secara kontekstual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan materi pembelajaran bahasa Inggris yang dipadukan dengan nilai-nilai religius untuk siswa kelas X Madrasah Aliyah Ali Maksum Krapyak Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan dan menggunakan model desain ADDIE yang meliputi analisis kebutuhan, perancangan silabus, pengembangan materi, validasi produk, uji coba, dan produk akhir. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner dan wawancara. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa materi pembelajaran bahasa Inggris tersebut sudah tepat untuk siswa pondok pesantren. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil nilai rata-rata yang berkisar antara 3,28 - 3,42 dari skala maksimal 4 untuk validasi ahli, sedangkan hasil uji coba dengan siswa berkisar antara 3,18 - 3,40 dari skala maksimal 4 yang dikategorikan “Sangat Baik”. Oleh karena itu, materi bahasa Inggris tersebut dianggap tepat dan dapat diterima oleh siswa pondok pesantren untuk memotivasi siswa dan membantu mereka dalam belajar bahasa Inggris secara kontekstual.Kata kunci: Materi bahasa Inggris, nilai religi, kelas XTeaching English in context is an important issue, especially for students with Islamic backgrounds. The idea of incorporating religious values into learning materials is very important to motivate students and to achieve the goals of learning English contextually. This research intended to develop English materials integrated with religious values for class X students of Islamic Senior High School of Ali Maksum Krapyak Yogyakarta. This research is a research and development using the ADDIE design model including needs analysis, syllabus design, material development, product validation, trials, and the final product. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires and interviews. Data were analyzed descriptively. The results of the study show that the English learning materials are appropriate for the students of Islamic boarding school Grade X. This can be seen from the results of the average score which ranges from 3.28 - 3.42 from the maximum scale of 4 for the expert validation, while the results of trials with students range from 3.18 - 3.40 from the maximum scale of 4 which are categorized as "Very Good". Therefore, the English materials are considered appropriate and acceptable by the students of the Islamic boarding school to motivate and assist them in learning English contextually.Keywords: English materials, religious values, class X

Abstract

AbstrakMultiple intelligences (kecerdasan majemuk) merupakan sebuah teori kecerdasan hasil perubahan makna pemahaman kecerdasan yang sebelumnya yaitu teori kecerdasan yang cenderung diartikan sempit yang hanya dinilai verbal dan matematika saja kini oleh Gardner diubah menjadi lebih luas, yaitu menjadi kecerdasan yang majemuk. Dan saat ini konsep Multiple intelligences atau kecerdasan majemuk mulai dipakai oleh beberapa sekolah maupun diterapkan dalam bidang pendidikan. Rumusan masalah yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana konsep sekolah berbasis multiple intelligences menurut Munif Chatib dan apakah ada relevansi konsep sekolah berbasis multiple intelligences dalam pendidikan Islam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan konsep sekolah yang berbasis kecerdasan ganda menurut Munif Chatib. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif dan jenis penelitian pustaka atau yang disebut juga library research, yang menghasilkan data deskriptif melalui pengamatan terhadap ucapan, tulisan, atau perilaku orang. Untuk mengumpulkan data, peneliti menggunakan teknik dokumentasi dan juga melengkapi dengan wawancara. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa konsep sekolah berbasis multiple intelligences menurut Munif Chatib yaitu: 1. Menganut the best process bukan the best input; 2. Proses yang terbaik (the best process); 3.Outputnya sekolah manusia menganut penilaian autentik. Dan konsep ini menunjukkan adanya relevansi dalam pendidikan Islam hal ini dapat dilihat dari segi education for all, menghargai segala jenis kecerdasan manusia, Prinsip Islam yang mengutamakan kesetaraan antara individu juga tercermin dalam perumusan tujuan Pendidikan Islam.Kata kunci: Sekolah, Multiple Intelegences, Munif Chatib, Pendidikan IslamAbstractMultiple intelligences (multiple intelligences) is a theory of intelligence resulting from changes in the meaning of understanding intelligence which was previously a theory of intelligence that tends to be interpreted narrowly which is only assessed verbally and mathematically now by Gardner is changed to be broader, namely into multiple intelligences. The formulation of the problem raised in this study is how the concept of multiple intelligences-based schools according to Munif Chatib and whether there is relevance to the concept of multiple intelligences-based schools in Islamic education. The purpose of this study is to describe the concept of multiple intelligences-based schools according to Munif Chatib. The research described in this context involves library research that utilizes a qualitative approach, which is a type of study that generates descriptive data based on observations of people's speech, writing, or behavior. While the required data collection techniques are obtained through documentation, complemented by interviews. This research shows that the concept of multiple intelligences-based schools according to Munif Chatib is: 1. Adhering to the best process not the best input; 2. The best process; 3.The output of the human school adheres to authentic judgment. And this concept shows the relevance in Islamic education, this can be seen in terms of education for all, respecting all types of human intelligence, this is in line with Islamic principles that do not discriminate one from another and aspects in the formulation of Islamic Education goals. Keywords: School, Multiple Intelligences, Munif Chatib, Islamic Education

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas penerapan pendekatan saintifik terhadap kemampuan menulis kalimat pada siswa kelas III di MIN Kota Cirebon. Pendekatan kuantitatif dan metode eksperimen digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III di MIN Kota Cirebon, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling. Sebanyak 52 siswa terdiri dari 25 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 27 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol dijadikan sampel dalam penelitian ini. Instrumen pengumpulan data penelitian ini dengan observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes. Kemampuan menulis kalimat siswa pada kelas kontrol dapat dilihat dari hasil pretest rata-rata sebesar 56,48 dan hasil posttest sebesar 70,19. Kemampuan menulis kalimat siswa pada kelas eksperimen dapat dilihat dari hasil pretest rata-rata 60,40 dan hasil posttest rata-rata 84,80. Berdasarkan hasil uji t, nilai signifikansi yang diperoleh sebesar 0,00 < 0,05, maka ada perbedaan rata-rata antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, sehingga dapat disimpulkan pendekatan saintifik secara signifikan lebih berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan menulis kalimat siswa. Siswa yang memiliki dan menguasai keterampilan menulis dengan baik akan mudah dalam mencatat, menyalin, dan menyelesaikan tugas sekolah, sehingga tujuan pembelajaran akan tercapai.Kata kunci: Pendekatan Saintifik, Kemampuan Menulis

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengelolaan sarana pembelajaran di SMP Dharma Siswa Tangerang khususnya tentang pengelolaan ruang kelas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi di SMP Dharma Siswa Tangerang.  Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis data yang terdiri dari tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Triangulasi sumber digunakan untuk meningkatkan validitas penelitian dengan menganalisis data penelitian berbagai sudut pandang yaitu kepala sekolah, wakasek sarana dan prasarana, guru, dan siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, perencanaan dalam pengelolaan ruang kelas dilakukan dengan menyusun daftar rencana pengadaan sarana yang dibutuhkan melalui RKAS. Sarana pembelajaran ruang kelas sudah memadai, namun kesadaran dalam pemeliharaan masih kurang diperhatikan dan jumlah ruang kelas tidak sesuai dengan jumlah siswa. Oleh sebab itu sekolah membagi kegiatan pembelajaran dilakukan pada pagi dan siang hari. Rencana penambahan pembangunan ruang kelas sebagai tempat kegiatan belajar-mengajar direspon baik oleh guru maupun siswa dikarenakan para siswa merasa antusias terhadap kegiatan pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan pada pagi hari. Guru dan siswa mengambil peranan yang sama dalam menjaga fasilitas sehingga dapat mengoptimalkan kegiatan pembelajaran.Kata kunci: pengelolaan, sarana pembelajaran, ruang kelas AbstractThis study aimied to analyze the management of learning facilities at SMP Dharma Siswa Tangerang especially regarding classroom management. The research method used was qualitative with a descriptive approach. The data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation studies at SMP Dharma Siswa Tangerang. The data were analyzed using data analysis techniques consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The validity of the study was improved using triangulation by analyzing the data from various perspectives, namely school principals, vice principals of facilities and infrastructure, teachers, and students. The result shows that planning in classroom management is carried out by compiling a list of plans for procuring the required facilities through the RKAS. Classroom learning facilities are adequate, but awareness in maintenance is still lacking and the number of classrooms does not fit to the number of students. Therefore the school divides learning activities to be carried out in the morning and afternoon. The plan to increase the construction of classrooms as a place for teaching and learning activities was responded well by both teachers and students because the students felt enthusiastic about the learning activities carried out in the morning. Teachers and students take the same role in maintaining the facilities so as to optimize learning activities. Keywords: management, learning facilities, classrooms

Abstract

Praktikum menjadi komponen penting dalam pembelajaran biologi. Hal tersebut bertujuan untuk meningkatkan Keterampilan Proses Sains (KPS) peserta didik dalam memperdalam pengetahuan di dalam kelas. Praktikum sangat membantu peserta didik dalam rekonstruksi pengetahuan. Namun, masih banyak Desain Kegiatan Laboratorium (DKL) yang belum memenuhi standar, sehingga perlu dilakukan analisis dan rekonstruksi DKL. Selain itu, masih sedikit penelitian mengenai desain kegiatan praktikum pada materi struktur dan fungsi jaringan hewan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dan merekontruksi literasi kuantitatif desain kegiatan laboratorium pada materi struktur dan fungsi jaringan hewan. Metode yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kualitatif berbasis ANCOR yang terdiri dari analisis, eksperimen/ coba, dan rekonstruksi. Objek penelitian yaitu DKL struktur dan fungsi jaringan hewan yang digunakan di sekolah dan terdapat pada buku pelajaran siswa yang dikumpulkan secara purposive sampling. Hasil analisis diperoleh bahwa DKL masih kurang dan tidak sesuai dengan standar, khususnya pada bagian judul praktikum, sehingga perlu dilakukan rekonstruksi terhadap DKL agar tidak menimbulkan kesalahan dalam kegiatan praktikum peserta didik. Rekonstruksi DKL praktikum struktur jaringan epitel pada hewan dapat menjadi alternatif DKL untuk mengatasi kekurangan DKL yang ada pada saat ini.Kata Kunci: Analisis, Rekonstruksi, DKL, Struktur dan Fungsi Jaringan HewanPracticum becomes an important component in biology learning. This aims to improve students’ Science Process Skills (KPS) in deepening knowledge in the classroom. Practicum is very helpful for students in the reconstruction of knowledge. However, there are still many Laboratory Activity Designs (DKL) that have not met the standards, so an analysis and reconstruction of a DKL is necessary. Besides, there is still little research on the design of practicum activities on the structure and function of animal tissues. The aim of this research was to analyze and reconstruct the quantitative literacy of laboratory activity design on the structure and function of animal tissues material. The method used was ANCOR-based descriptive qualitative which consisted of analysis, experimentation, and reconstruction. The object of research was the DKL of the structure and function of animal tissues used in schools and was contained in student textbooks which were collected by means of purposive sampling. The results of the analysis show that the DKL is still lacking and has not met the standards, especially in the practicum title section, so it is necessary to reconstruct the DKL in order to avoid mistakes in student practicum activities. The practicum DKL reconstruction of the epithelial tissue structures in animals can be an alternative DKL to deal with the current weaknesses of DKL.Keywords: Analysis, Reconstruction, DKL, Structure and Function of Animal Tissue

Abstract

AbstrakArgumentasi merupakan aktivitas verbal, sosial dan rasionalyang bertujuan untuk meyakinkan kritik yang masuk akal tentang suatu pandangan yang dapat diterima. Keterampilan argumentasi penting dimiliki mahasiswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan debat dengan mind mapping pada mata kuliah perspektif global dapat meningkatkan keterampilan argumentasi mahasiswa PGSD. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan subjek mahasiswa Prodi PGSD kelas 21A2 yang berjumlah 25 mahasiswa. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, angket, serta catatan lapangan. Data penelitian diolah dan dianalisis secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jika debat dapat meningkatkan ketrampilan argumentasi mahasiswa dengan kategori 68% baik, 22% cukup, serta 10% kurang. Hal tersebut berdampak pada meningkatnya keberanian mahasiswa dalam menyampaikan gagasannya, menanggapi gagasan yang lain, serta mempertahankan gagasannya.Kata kunci: Keterampilan Argumentasi, Debat, Mind Mapping AbstractArgumentation skills are a very important skill to be possessed by students as a supplier to face the complexity of life problems in the 21st century. However, the skills are still very low. This is due to the lack of communication skills and innovative learning models. Thus, discussions with mind mapping are applied to courses with a global perspective to improve student argumentation skills. This research is a Class Action Research with the subject of a student Prodi PGSD class 21A2 which has a total of 25 students. The study consists of two cycles with data collection techniques such as observation, interview, lifting, and field recording. Research data is processed and analyzed qualitatively. The results of the study showed that debates can improve student argumentation skills by the category of 68% good, 22% sufficient, and 10% less. This affects the increasing courage of students in communicating their ideas, responding to other ideas, and defending their ideas.Keywords: Argumentation Skills, Debate, Mind Mapping

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis keterampilan dasar mengajar guru dalam pembelajaran online dan offline pada jenjang sekolah dasar, serta kendala yang dihadapi guru dalam menerapkan keterampilan dasar mengajar guru pada pembelajaran online dan offline pada jenjang sekolah dasar. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Partisipan penelitiannya sebanyak 47 guru SD/MI di kota dan kabupaten Cirebon. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket terbuka dan lembar observasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu terdapat beberapa perbedaan dari keterampilan dasar mengajar guru dalam pembelajaran online dan offline pada jenjang sekolah dasar, serta terdapat beberapa kendala yang dihadapi oleh guru SD/MI dalam menerapkan keterampilan dasar mengajar khususnya ketika pembelajaran online.

Abstract

Improving students’ creativity is very important in 21st-century education. One form of creativity is the ability to develop a product. Based on the observation, students already had the potential for creative thinking, but they had difficulties expressing these ideas in a product. This study was conducted to determine the improvement in students’ product creativity in Natural Science learning with the implementation of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model. The method used was classroom action research consisting of two cycles. Each cycle included three stages, namely planning, implementing, and reflecting. Data were collected through observation notes and documentation during the activities. The results of this study indicate that learning by implementing the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model in the Natural Sciences subject can increase the creativity of students’ products. It is evidenced by an increase in student creativity by 24.45 based on the product assessment from cycle I which was 64.44 and cycle II was 88.89. In cycle I, improvements were still needed, but in cycle II students were more creative in preparing tools and materials, making products neater and paying attention to color matching, and generating relatively new and unique product ideas.Keywords: Project-based learning, product creativity, Natural Sciences, classroom action research

Abstract

School closures due to the COVID-19 pandemic have resulted in learning loss in primary school students, so a diagnosis of the students' numeracy skills is urgently needed at the beginning of learning to adapt learning to students' average ability levels (teaching at the right levels). This study aimed to develop a module that can assist and become a reference for teachers in schools in diagnosing and mapping students' numeracy abilities at the beginning of learning. Therefore, this research was carried out following the procedures of research and development (R&D). Prior to implementation, the developed module was validated by two experts (media and material experts) with validation results in “very good” categories for each aspect of the material, layout, and graphics. The results of the study based on the teacher's response questionnaire indicate that the module developed is very helpful for the teachers in mapping students' numeracy abilities at the beginning of learning after the COVID-19 pandemic and provides an alternative follow-up to the results of students' numeracy assessments. Thus, the developed module is suitable for use as a reference in conducting assessments regarding early primary school students’ numeracy.Keywords: diagnostic assessment module, early primary students, numeracy, post COVID-19 pandemic
