Abstract

The research objective was to improve the student skills in designing innovative learning after the portfolio assessment was applied. This type of research was a Classroom Action Research with two cycles carried out in the elementary school learning strategy course for students in semester 3 of PGSD UNIRA Malang in the first semester of the 2018/2019 academic year. The research subjects were 28 students consisting of 5 men and 23 women. The results of the data research were analyzed descriptively. There was improving skills in designing innovative learning that was seen from several indicators, including skills to formulate learning objectives, skills to apply appropriate learning media, skills to select strategies /methods/learning models, skills to describe learning steps, and skills to develop learning evaluation instruments. The results showed an increase in the number of students who had the skills to form learning goals with good and excellent criteria from 8 people in cycle 1 to 24 people in cycle 2. The number of students with the skills to employ learning media with good and excellent criteria increased from 5 people to 23 people. The number of students with the skills to choose a strategy/method/ learning model with good and excellent criteria increased from 5 people to 25 people. The number of students with the skills to describe the steps of learning with good and very good criteria grew from 8 people to 20 people. There were some students with the skills to apply learning media with good and excellent criteria, increasing from 4 to 26 people.

Abstract

The decline in student achievement in schools is due to the lack of parental attention and learning motivation from students. The research objective was to determine whether there was an effect of parental attention and learning motivation on student achievement. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 01 Klepu, Sumbermanjing Wetan District. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative method with a population of all students of SD Negeri 01 Klepu. The sampling technique was using proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Parental attention and motivation data were obtained from a questionnaire. Student achievement data obtained from documentation. The trial was conducted on 20 students of SD Negeri 01 Klepu outside the sample. The data analysis technique used multiple regression analysis. Based on the results of data analysis, conclusions can be drawn, (1) There is a significant effect of parental attention on student achievement at SD Negeri 01 Klepu. (2) There is a significant effect of learning motivation on student achievement at SD Negeri 01 Klepu. (3) There is an effect of parental attention and learning motivation on student achievement at SD Negeri 01 Klepu.

Abstract

Student activeness in the learning process is very important to acquire knowledge and skills. Based on the results of observations made by researchers during thematic learning in class V SD Negeri 2 Karangsari on Saturday, January 4, 2020, the results of student activity and learning outcomes were still low. This can be seen from the activeness indicators: 1) students who are included in the active category are 5 students (30%), 2) students who are quite active are 3 students (20%),3) students who are in the less active category are 8 students (50%). This research was conducted to determine how the application of the Jigsaw model increases student activity. The activity observed is mental activity which includes responding to, remembering and solving problems. The research subjects were 16 grade V SD Negeri 2 Karangsari students. Student activeness is said to increase ≥75% of students reach the active and very active category, it is expected that the results of the implementation of teacher and student activities are at least 85%. The results showed that the average activity of students in the first cycle was 65% and the second cycle was 91% on average. The results of observations of the implementation of the activities of teachers and students in cycle I 79% and cycle II 93%, based on the data, the application of the Jigsaw model of learning can increase learning activeness in theme 1 sub theme 3.

Abstract

The corona virus has caused changes in the education system in Indonesia. This causes learning that was originally carried out face-to-face into learning from home. The Learning from Home system requires parents to play a full role in learning. To maintain and increase students' learning motivation while studying from home, parents really need the role. This research is a descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The instrument of data collection was done by interview and questionnaire. The subjects of this study were parents of grade II and III students at SD Negeri 2 Palaan located in Palaan Village, Ngajum District. The results of this study discuss the role of parents who are very influential in improving student learning outcomes of SD Negeri 2 Palaan during the Learning from Home System.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to produce a digital flipbook based on local games to improve the reading literacy and reading literacy. The method used is the research method (R&D), researching potential and problems, gathering information, product design, design validation, design revision, initial trial, product revision, usage trial, and product revision. Data analysis used descriptive percentage and N-gain test. The results of the study were based on the average value of the validity test on digital flipbooks based on local games in the media field 94%, material field 93%, reading literacy instrument field 93%, and student response field 95%, with criteria for all fields "very feasible" used. There is an increase in the reading literacy of elementary school students and the average pretest score is 66.63 to an average posttest score of 86.63 with an N-gain value of 0.71 which is included in the high category score.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu: (1) Mengetahui kelayakan media Puzzle 3D pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran IPS Tema 9 Subtema 1 Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Kognitif Siswa Sekolah Dasa, (2) Mengetahui respon siswa terhadap media. (3) Mengetahui Hasil Pengembangan Media Puzzle 3D (Pembelajaran Kenampakan Alam Dan Daratan) Pada Mata Pelajaran IPS Tema 9 Subtema 1 Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Kognitif Siswa Sekolah Dasar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan penulis adalah penelitian Research and Development (R&D). Hasil penelitian mnunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran puzzle 3D layak sebagai media pembelajaran berdasarkan validasi ahli materi, ahli media, dan respon siswa terhadap media Puzzle 3D pada tema 9 subtema 1 materi kenampakan alam daratan dan perairan dinyatakan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran dengan presentase 82% untuk ahli materi dan 74% untuk ahli media dan melakukan revisi perbaikan yang telah disarankan oleh validator ahli media dan materi. Pengembangan media Puzzle 3D pada tema 9 subtema 1 mata pelajaran IPS materi kenampakan alam daratan dan perairan ini dilakukan dengan tahap penelitian meliputi tahap potensi dan masalah, pengumpula data, desain produk, validasi dan uji coba, revisi produk, uji coba, serta menggunakan angket respon siswa guna mengetahui kelayakan media. Peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif siswa dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Peningkatan hasil belajar siswa diperoleh dari uji coba kelompok kecil dan kelompok besar. Hasil peningkatan dari hasil belajar kognitif siswa dapat dilihat mempunyai nilai 73%.

Abstract

AbstrakArgumentasi merupakan aktivitas verbal, sosial dan rasionalyang bertujuan untuk meyakinkan kritik yang masuk akal tentang suatu pandangan yang dapat diterima. Keterampilan argumentasi penting dimiliki mahasiswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan debat dengan mind mapping pada mata kuliah perspektif global dapat meningkatkan keterampilan argumentasi mahasiswa PGSD. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan subjek mahasiswa Prodi PGSD kelas 21A2 yang berjumlah 25 mahasiswa. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, angket, serta catatan lapangan. Data penelitian diolah dan dianalisis secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jika debat dapat meningkatkan ketrampilan argumentasi mahasiswa dengan kategori 68% baik, 22% cukup, serta 10% kurang. Hal tersebut berdampak pada meningkatnya keberanian mahasiswa dalam menyampaikan gagasannya, menanggapi gagasan yang lain, serta mempertahankan gagasannya.Kata kunci: Keterampilan Argumentasi, Debat, Mind Mapping AbstractArgumentation skills are a very important skill to be possessed by students as a supplier to face the complexity of life problems in the 21st century. However, the skills are still very low. This is due to the lack of communication skills and innovative learning models. Thus, discussions with mind mapping are applied to courses with a global perspective to improve student argumentation skills. This research is a Class Action Research with the subject of a student Prodi PGSD class 21A2 which has a total of 25 students. The study consists of two cycles with data collection techniques such as observation, interview, lifting, and field recording. Research data is processed and analyzed qualitatively. The results of the study showed that debates can improve student argumentation skills by the category of 68% good, 22% sufficient, and 10% less. This affects the increasing courage of students in communicating their ideas, responding to other ideas, and defending their ideas.Keywords: Argumentation Skills, Debate, Mind Mapping

Abstract

Pelatihan membatik jumputan terhadap siswa SDN 1 Maguan bertujuan untuk  menumbuhkan kreativitas dan penguatan karakter pelajar Pancasila siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini meliputi 3 tahap, yaitu: 1) tahap persiapan; 2) tahap pelaksanaan; dan tahap evaluasi. Persiapan yang dilakukan meliputi observasi kreativitas siswa dan program yang telah dilaksanakan sekolah, perencanaan format kegiatan pelatihan, penyusunan kepanitiaan, pemilihan pemateri, dan penyusunan rancangan anggaran belanja.  Hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa di SDN 1 Maguan belum pernah dilaksanakan pelatihan membatik dan kreativitas siswa cenderung rendah jika dilihat dari hasil karya seni siswa. Adapun program pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilaksanakan dengan format pelatihan melibatkan pemateri dari praktisi batik jumputan. Panitia pelaksana kegiaan ini adalah mahasiswa PGSD UNIRA. Program pelatihan membatik jumputan ini terlaksana dengan baik dan menghasilkan beberapa produk kain batik jumputan dengan pola beragam sesuai dengan kreativitas siswa. Rekomendasi yang bisa disampaikan kepada SDN 1 Maguan adalah merancang program lanjutan yang bersifat nyata untuk meningkatkan kreativitas siswa, misalnya dengan pelatihan membuat topeng malangan. Aktivitas nyata yang melibatkan koordinasi fisik dan mental siswa seperti membuat batik jumputan dan topeng malangan sangat bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan kreativitas siswa dan untuk meningkatkan cinta budaya bangsa yang selanjutnya tercermin dalam profil pelajar Pancasila.

Abstract

Kegiatan workshop ini dilatarbekangi oleh kurangnya pemahaman guru terhadap karakteristik soal HOTS yang digunakan dalam penilaian pembelajaran. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah mengembangkan keterampilan dan pemahaman guru terhadap penulisan soal-soal berpikir tingkat tinggi dalam praktik penilaian di sekolah sesuai dengan Kurikulum 2013. Kagiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, hasil pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi program. Kegiatan workshop ini dilaksanakan bertempat di MI Al Hidayat, Bunutwetan, Kecamatan Pakis, Kabupaten Malang. Hasil dari kegiatan ini yaitu meningkatnya pemahaman guru terhadap keterampilan menulis soal HOTS pada aspek-aspek ini yaitu (1) pemahaman tentang prinsip penilaian, (2) pemahaman tentang indikator dan kata kerja operasional, (3) pemahaman tentang HOTS, (4) pemahaman tentang teknik pengembangan soal, (5) pemahaman tentang instrumen penilaian, (5) pemahaman tentang teknik penskoran. Rata-rata peningkatan pemahaman guru sebesar 24%. Peningkatan ini diketahui dari saat skor pretes sebesar 62% dan ketika dilaksanakan postes skor menjadi 86%.

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah memberikan pengembangan media pembelajaran interaktif adobe flash berbasis kearifan lokal bagi guru SDN 02 Palaan Malang. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah metode caramah dan tanya jawab dengan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif aktif dan bimbingan tenknis. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini pada hari senin, 23 Agustus 2022, tempat pelaksanaan program pengabdian masyarakat di lakukan Via Virtual dengan menggunakan aplikasi Google Meet. Peserta dalam pelatihan ini sebanyak 7 orang guru yang merupakan guru di SDN 02 Palaan Malang. Kegiatan pelatihan pengemabngan media pembelajaran interaktif adobe flash berbasis kearifan lokal sangat disarankan manfaatnya bagi guru-guru karena menambah wawasan dan pengetahuan mengenai jenis media pembelajaran khususnya media pembelajaran interaktif adobe flash berbasis kearifan lokal serta cara membuat media pembelajaran interaktif adobe flash berbasis kearifan lokal, serta mampu mengembangkan media tersebut yang lebih interaktif. Melalui pelatihan ini, peserta antusias dan semangat membuat dan mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif adobe flash berbasis kearifan lokal sesuai dengan materi pelajaran yang diajarkan masing-masing guru di sekolah.
