Abstract

Marriage in Islam is a sacred institution aimed at establishing a harmonious family (sakinah, mawaddah, and rahmah) and preserving lineage as part of the maqashid al-shari’ah. However, in modern society, the childfree phenomenon—defined as the decision of married couples to not have children—has increasingly emerged.This study aims to analyze the childfree phenomenon and its implications for the objectives of marriage from the perspective of Islamic Family Law. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method with empirical and philosophical approaches, utilizing both primary and secondary data sources analyzed through content analysis techniques.The findings indicate that within Indonesian society, the presence of children is still considered an essential component of family life and a symbol of happiness. In Islamic perspective, having offspring is one of the primary objectives of marriage, closely related to the protection of lineage (hifz al-nasl). Therefore, normatively, the childfree choice is considered inconsistent with the fundamental purpose of marriage.Nevertheless, in certain circumstances that involve greater benefit (maslahah), such as physical, mental, or economic incapacity, or potential harm, Islam provides limited flexibility for such a decision. Thus, the childfree phenomenon should be understood comprehensively by considering normative, social, and individual aspects, while remaining aligned with the principle of maslahah in Islamic Family Law.

Abstract

Penelitian ini melakukan tinjauan pustaka mengenai pengaruh lingkungan sekolah agama madrasah terhadap motivasi siswa dalam beribadah dan disiplin, serta bagaimana unsur-unsur ini berperan sebagai dasar bagi hasil belajar dalam Pendidikan Islam dan memperkuat ketahanan belajar. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kepustakaan kualitatif, penelitian ini menganalisis sumber akademik yang relevan untuk membangun sintesis konseptual. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekologi spiritual madrasah membentuk kesadaran spiritual siswa melalui pembiasaan, teladan, dan internalisasi nilai. Kesadaran ini mendorong motivasi intrinsik untuk beribadah dan disiplin diri yang autentik, yang penting untuk mencapai hasil Pendidikan Islam yang bermakna di luar penguasaan kognitif semata. Selain itu, motivasi ibadah memberikan kedamaian batin dan orientasi hidup yang melampaui pencapaian akademik, memungkinkan siswa untuk memandang kesulitan sebagai peluang untuk berkembang. Disiplin ibadah menumbuhkan kontrol diri, manajemen waktu, dan konsistensi yang penting untuk ketekunan akademik. Kedua variabel tersebut berfungsi sebagai sumber psikologis yang memperkuat ketahanan siswa dalam menghadapi lingkungan sekolah yang kompetitif. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa ekologi spiritual yang dirancang dengan baik di madrasah bukan sekadar simbol identitas Islam, tetapi juga landasan strategis untuk mengembangkan pembelajar yang tangguh, mampu mencapai hasil pembelajaran maksimal sambil mempertahankan integritas spiritual. Temuan ini mengisyaratkan perlunya integrasi sistematis antara pengembangan spiritual dan pembangunan kapasitas akademik dalam kebijakan dan praktik di madrasah

Abstract

This study conducts a literature review on the realization of substantive justice for women's inheritance rights by analyzing the approach of public interest (maslahah mursalah) in Islamic law and the mechanism of family deliberation in both Islamic and Civil law systems. The research employs a qualitative method with content analysis of primary legal texts and secondary academic literature. The findings reveal that the public interest approach within the framework of maqasid al-shariah provides a robust methodological foundation for interpreting inheritance provisions beyond rigid textual formulas. This approach enables the adaptation of inheritance distribution to contemporary socio-economic realities, ensuring that the higher objectives of law protection of life, property, and lineage are genuinely fulfilled. Concurrently, family deliberation emerges as a strategic institution bridging formal legal rules and the substantive justice demands of heirs. Effective deliberation, characterized by equal participation of all family members including women, information transparency, and mutual respect, produces agreements that are perceived as fair by all parties. The dialectic between Islamic and Civil law within family deliberation practices reveals significant convergence: both systems recognize immutable basic provisions while simultaneously opening space for creative agreements through consensus. This synergy between the public interest approach and family deliberation offers a comprehensive pathway toward substantive justice in inheritance distribution, positioning women as active subjects whose needs and contributions are duly acknowledged. The study contributes theoretically to legal discourse on substantive justice and offers practical recommendations for judges, mediators, religious leaders, and policymakers to facilitate more equitable inheritance practices.

Abstract

Education plays a strategic role in developing competent human resources as well as in shaping character, ethics, and moral values, particularly through Islamic Religious Education in Madrasah Aliyah. MA students today face the challenges of the digital age, including exposure to negative content and uncontrolled use of social media, which have the potential to undermine moral integrity and learning outcomes. This study aims to examine the contribution of PAI teachers' professional competence to student learning outcomes. A qualitative approach was used with a literature study design, through a systematic review of scientific articles, journals, and previous studies related to teacher competence and student learning outcomes. The analysis was conducted by identifying, selecting, and grouping information to draw conceptual conclusions. The findings show that teachers with high professional competence are able to master the material in depth, integrate Islamic values into learning, design effective teaching strategies, motivate students, and create a conducive learning environment. Teachers' professional competence has been proven to have a positive and significant impact on learning outcomes in the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains, as well as supporting the formation of students' character and morals. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of continuous professional development for teachers through training, supervision, and strengthening of pedagogical capacity, so that Islamic Education in Madrasah Aliyah can produce graduates who excel academically and are mature in spirituality and morality.

Abstract

Pembelajaran kolaboratif berbasis web merupakan pendekatan pembelajaran yang memanfaatkan teknologi internet untuk mendorong kerja sama antar peserta didik. melalui platform digital, siswa dapat berdiskusi, berbagi ide, dan menyelesaikan tugas secara bersama-sama tanpa terbatas ruang dan waktu. penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan dengan mengkaji berbagai sumber seperti buku, jurnal, dan artikel ilmiah yang relevan untuk memahami bagaimana pembelajaran kolaboratif berbasis web dapat diterapkan secara efektif dalam dunia pendidikan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran kolaboratif berbasis web mampu meningkatkan keterampilan abad ke-21, seperti kemampuan berpikir kritis, kreativitas, komunikasi, dan kolaborasi. selain itu, penggunaan teknologi juga membantu siswa menjadi lebih mandiri dan aktif dalam proses belajar. dengan demikian, pendekatan ini dapat menjadi solusi inovatif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di era digital, khususnya dalam mempersiapkan siswa menghadapi tantangan global.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Fiqih semestinya berlangsung secara aktif, dialogis, dan kontekstual. Akan tetapi, praktik di kelas masih didominasi oleh guru. Akibatnya, partisipasi siswa belum berkembang secara optimal, begitu pula penguatan pemahaman terhadap materi. Dalam penelitian ini, tujuannya adalah untuk memaparkan penerapan Active Learning Quiz Strategy pada pembelajaran Fiqih serta menjelaskan peran strategi tersebut dalam meningkatkan keaktifan dan pemahaman peserta didik. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif digunakan dalam penelitian. Lokasi penelitian dilaksanakan di kelas Samiya (VII C) MTs Progresif Bumi Shalawat. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan catatan reflektif peneliti. Analisis data dilakukan secara tematik melalui tahapan pengorganisasian data, pengodean, pengelompokan kategori, dan penarikan tema. Adapun keabsahan data dijaga dengan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa penerapan Active Learning Quiz Strategy membuat suasana pembelajaran terasa lebih hidup. Perhatian peserta didik terhadap materi pun meningkat. Siswa yang sebelumnya pasif menjadi terdorong untuk terlibat dalam menjawab pertanyaan. Selain itu, muncul pula tanggapan antarpeserta didik selama proses belajar berlangsung. Hasil wawancara juga mengungkapkan bahwa peserta didik merasa lebih mudah memahami materi ketika pembelajaran dilakukan melalui kuis yang menuntut respons langsung. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Active Learning Quiz Strategy layak digunakan sebagai strategi pembelajaran Fiqih untuk memperkuat keaktifan dan pemahaman peserta didik. Oleh karena itu, guru Fiqih disarankan menerapkan strategi ini secara lebih terarah dan berkelanjutan. Bagi peneliti selanjutnya, disarankan untuk melakukan kajian pada subjek yang lebih luas serta menggunakan pendekatan campuran. Abstract

The curriculum occupies a crucial position within the Indonesian National Education System as it serves as the principal foundation for organizing teaching and learning activities across all educational levels. This article seeks to examine the curriculum’s status as a regulatory framework guided by Law Number 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System, as well as to analyze its strategic contribution to the achievement of national education objectives. The curriculum is not merely a structured plan outlining goals, subject content, and instructional methods, but also a medium for transmitting values, culture, and national character. This study applies a library research method by reviewing various regulations, theoretical perspectives, and curriculum policies implemented in Indonesia. The findings reveal that the curriculum plays a vital role in enhancing educational standards, aligning instructional practices with advancements in science and technology, and developing competent individuals with strong moral and ethical foundations. Consequently, the curriculum serves as a central component in shaping the direction and overall quality of national education

Abstract

The underlying phenomenon of this research is the persistence of teacher-centered learning processes, lack of student interaction, and limited opportunities for students to develop and express their creative ideas. These conditions lead to student passivity and low learning motivation. This study aims to examine the effect of using the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model on enhancing student creativity. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach through library research. The results of the study indicate that the TGT cooperative learning model consistently has a positive and significant impact on enhancing student creativity. This model is able to create an active, enjoyable, and challenging learning atmosphere through a combination of group work, educational games, and academic tournaments, thereby encouraging the participation of all students in the learning process.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology, especially artificial intelligence (AI), has caused academic anxiety related to the readiness of the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum in facing the demands of modern learning. The PAI curriculum is required not only to be able to integrate technology, but also to maintain the spiritual values and character of students. This research aims to examine the development of AI-based PAI curriculum in modern learning. The method used is a qualitative approach with the type of library research through the analysis of various relevant literature. The results show that AI has an important role in creating adaptive, interactive, and personalized learning, so that it can increase the effectiveness of PAI learning. The concept of the modern PAI curriculum emphasizes a balance between cognitive, affective, and spiritual aspects. However, its implementation faces challenges in the form of limited educator competencies, infrastructure, and the potential for reduced affective values. Nonetheless, AI also provides a great opportunity in creating more relevant and contextual learning. In conclusion, the development of an AI-based PAI curriculum needs to be carried out wisely and in a targeted manner in order to be able to make an optimal contribution to the development of Islamic education in the modern era.
