Abstract

This research is about the formation process of compound words in which one of thecomponents is kanji 月. Compound words is a word composed of two or more basic words.The aims of this study is to find out the structures that form compound words, to find themeaning of compound words and to find out the syntactic relationship that exists betweenformation words components.The research method which author use in this research is a descriptive method. To writethis thesis, firstly, the author collected the data, analyzed the data and then presented theresult.The result is the 45 data studied is formed based on 5 patterns. The meaning obtained isdivided into two, which are conceptual meaning or literal meaning and associative meaning/indicates a symbolism. Then, there are 8 syntactic relationships that form a compound word.It also found 4 special cases of syntactic relationships.

Abstract

This thesis is a research of a short story, Haru no Tori by Kunikida Doppo which was published on 1904. Haru no Tori means The Spring Bird. Haru no Tori is a story about 11 years old boy named Rokuzoo, who’s got a mental disorders, which makes a teacher, Watashi, is interested by Rokuzoo’s pathetic life. This research is made for answering 2 main questions, such as: 1) to know the structure of Haru no Tori short story, and 2) to know why is Watashi interested on Rokuzoo’s life. The method that will used by the author of this thesis is structural method by Greimas. Greimas’s method is using two methods, they are actancial scheme and the functional structure. The methods used to facilitate the author to determine the storyline and different points of view, so the author will know what makes Watashi interested in Rokuzoo’s life from Haru no Tori. The results of this research by actancial scheme and structural method by Greimas are 14 of actancial schemes, 5 of functional structure, and one main actan which is the main core of Watashi’s interest on Rokuzoo’s life.So, the conclusions of this research are; 1) because Watashi is a teacher, he thinks he needs to do something to help Rokuzoo’s pathetic life by giving Rokuzoo a better education. 2) because Watashi feel so grateful by the kindness of Tanuguchi who lets Watashi stay in a rented room for a living place. 3) besides, Watashi is always interested to Rokuzoo’s strange fondness on bird.

Abstract

This research aims is to provide an explanation regarding fukujoshi bakari and kurai because the explanation from Japanese language textbooks are still lacking, it resulting in numerous errors in the use of fukujoshi bakari and kurai. To write this thesis, firstly, the author collected data, and then analyze the data, after that, the data presented in a descriptive form. Fukujoshi bakari and kurai in Indonesian language can be interpreted as ‘approximately’ or ‘around’, and it used to indicate an approximate. Although both fukujoshi have the same meaning, but both also have the difference. Fukujoshi bakari and kurai which attached to the noun have the same meaning, which are indicate the degree or level and indicate the quantity of approximate amount, timing, size and spacing. Fukujoshi bakari can’t replace each other while showing limited activity, describe something that has same level or degree with the exemplified, and when explain something which is taken for granted.   Keyword: fukujoshi bakari, fukujoshi kurai

Abstract

The succession of this thesis is firstly collecting the reference and analyzing thedata. The data’s source of this thesis was gotten by EJJE.WEBLIO.JP,ALC.CO.JP and the other sources that has relation with adverb. The matter thatis discussed in this research is about the structure of adverb formed by adjectivana and noun followed by particle ni.Descriptive method is used in this research. The example of the adverb’s structureformed by noun that followed by particle ni such as, ima ni, ichido ni,isshioukenmei ni and the example of the adverb’s structure formed by adjective nathat followed by particle ni such as jouzu ni, kantan ni, shizuka ni.

Khodijah, Siti. “Unsur Intrinsik dan Ekstrinsik Cerpen Mai Barentain De- (My Valentine Day) Karya Atoda Takashi”. Thesis. Department of Japanese Studies Faculty of Humanities. Diponegoro University. The first advisor Drs. Yudiono KS, SU. The second advisor Yuliani Rahmah, S.Pd, M.Hum. My Valentine Day is a pop teen short story by Atoda Takashi. This short story tell us about Valentine day but with a mystery content, that’s the unique point of My Valentine Day. This story started when valentine day’s night, Kyoko main character a senior high school student bought a medicine for her mother. After that, Kyoko met an old women who sell a valentine’, because that old women look so poor, Kyoko bought that chocolate. The old women said that if Kyoko gave the chocolate for someone she love, that man will love her back. Kyoko didn’t believe it because Kyoko didn’t have a boyfriend. Finally, Kyoko sent that chocolate to a popular actor named K, at the night, Kyoko dreamed about K, in her dream, Kyoko and K was sit together at the beautiful garden. Many years later, Kyoko merried with a man, but K still single. Everytime he got a question about his single status, he always said that he looked a girl who sat down at the garden with him in his dream. The purpose of this study was to analyze the building blocks of the short story of “ My Valentine Day”. The analyzed elements were the theme, plot, character, setting, point of view, the message and cultural background. Keywords: Valentine Day, Short stories, Mystery, intrinsic and ekstrinsik elements.

Abstract

Picture story book by Nakagawa Rieko entitled Guri To Gura No Kaisuiyoku are a children humanities that told story about Guri and Gura adventure. That adventure was started when Guri and Gura playing in the beach. When they was playing, Guri and Gura found a bottle contains letter, map, and float that sended by Sea Monster. Sea Monster said to anyone who find that letter to go to sea tower. Guri and Gura decide to go to that sea tower. When they arrived at sea tower Guri and Gura help Sea Monster to pick up his pearl that fall into a hole. Finally, that pearl is back safe with Guri and Gura. Sea monster really happy and try to return Guri and Gura kindness. This research purpose is describing intrinsic element that build picture story book Guri To Gura No Kaisuiyoku such as theme, character and characteristic, plot, setting, point of view. language style, and message. Then, describe moral value that found in picture story book Guri To Gura No Kaisuiyoku by looking of characters attitude, act, and behavior. Abstract

The sequence of this thesis are: first the writer collects the references and analyzes the data. Then, she obtained the data from Anthology of Japanese children's literature's book. The problems that will be studied in this thesis are intrinsicelements and the moral values contained in Ten Made Todoke Yoshida Genjiro’s short story. This study uses structural method. The method is used to analyze the intrinsicelements that lead to moral values of the story. It makes the writer easier to analyze the moral values of story. The intrinsic elements that will be discussed in this thesis are theme, character, plot, setting, point of view, and the message of story.
