Abstract

This research is dealing about discourse context and reference. This researchdescribe the discourse context and reference in Advertisement. From context weknow about setting, participant, norms, genre, key, message, ends, and instrument.for analysis of reference of this advertisement was found that personal pronoun 1is (watashi) 4, (anata) 5, (atashi) 1, (ore) 2, (kimi) 1, (kare) 1, and for thepersonal pronoun 3 found (watashitachi) just 1. Next for demonstrative pronounanalysis, found first, (are) 1, (sore) 2, (kore) 3, (sonna) 2, (konna) 2, (soko) 1,(kono) 1, koitsu (2). In the analysis of this advertising is not found comparativepronouns in advertisement.

Abstract

This thesis research about Comparison of Structural Elements Supporting Performances Bunraku with Wayang Golek. Problems researching is What is elements structure of Bunraku with Wayang Goleks performances, Similarities and differences in the function of the Bunraku with Wayang Golek. The purpose of this research is to analyze the differences and similarities elements of Bunraku performances well as social functions with Wayang Golek. The methods used in this research are comparative literature as a principal theory that is compare the elements performances with social functions, and theory of the structure of the performing arts as a supporter of the theory in this research. The result of this research show that Bunraku with Wayang Golek performance art has similarities and differences in the performance elements of and social function.

Abstract

In Japanese language, to express feelings, ideas, and opinions, can use kanyouku. Kanyouku is formed by two or more word elements, which harmoniously merge into a specific meaning. Kanyouku cannot be interpreted as lexical or grammatical, but it can only be explained by idiomatical meaning. This study aims to classify the meaning of kanyouku me and kuchi based on the construction pattern of kanyouku me and kuchi, seek the extension meaning of kanyouku me and kuchi, and analyze the classification of Idiomatical meaning of kanyouku me and kuchi. The method used in this thesis is descriptive analysis and divided into three phases, namely data collection, data analysis, and final presentation of data analysis in conclusions. The books used in this thesis are Reikai Kanyouku Jiten and Idiom Bahasa Jepang Memakai Nama-nama Bagian Tubuh. Kanyouku which is studied in this thesis amounted to twenty eight pieces, consisting of thirteen pieces of doushi kanyouku, eight pieces of keiyoudoushi kanyouku, and seven pieces of meishi kanyouku. Nevertheless, It can be concluded that there are five pieces of kanyouku showing feelings or emotions, ten pieces of kanyouku associated with the body, character, and attitude, six kanyouku that shows action, activity, or action, six pieces of kanyouku indicate a state, degree, or grade level, and a piece of kanyouku showing the life, culture, and the local community. From the research, it can be said that twenty eight kanyouku has studied using the metaphorical, metonym, and synekdoche extension of meaning. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify the structures and meanings ofkeishikimeishi tokoro, koto and mono. The author chose the title due to the lack ofexplanation of those words in Japanese textbooks, beside that keishikimeishitokoro,koto and mono have some similarities on meanings and structures.The method that been used in this research is a descriptive method. To write thisthesis, firstly, the author collected the data, analyzed the data and then presentedthe result. Keishikimeishi tokoro, koto and mono can be attached with adjective,noun and verb. Keishikimeishi tokoro, koto and mono in Indonesian language canbe interpresented as “something” or “case”. Although keishikimeishi tokoro, kotoand mono have the same meaning in Indonesian language, they actually havemore deeper meaning.

Abstract

This research discusses about Akira’s personality conflict in Japanese comic’s Family Complex by Mikiyo Tsuda. Akira is the second son of the Sakamoto Family and he lived with his Family in harmony. Sakamoto Family are japanese family who livedsame with another japanese family.The different is, all of the member from Sakamoto Family has a perfect face, except Akira. That different makes Akira feel uncomfortable if he gather round with his family. The writter thought, what happened with Akira can be happenedtoo with another child in the world.The purpose of this research areto answer the problem about personality conflict of Akira Sakamoto based on Family Complex’s manga by Mikiyo Tsuda. The methods which used in this research are structural method and Sigmund Freud’s personality method. The result shows that most of Akira’s personality influenced with his superego. Akira’s low self-confident make him involvedthe conflict with his self. For example, when Akira going out with his family for dinner. His “Id” want to stay at home because he feel so uncomfortable with his family, but in the other side, his “superego” want to going outbecause he won’t make his family sad. The winner from the conflict between Akira’s “Id” and “superego” is “superego”. So, Akira’s “ego” doing the “superego” which is going out with his family for dinner.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify the use of shuujoshi ze and zo inHakkenden comic so that the readers understand its use, especially in Japanesecomic. The data of the research is a Japanese comic by Miyuki Abe entitled"Hakkenden" volume 1-8.The method used in this research are descriptive method and deletion technique.Descriptive method and deletion technique are applied to identify the degree ofsignificance of the unit being deleted.The results of the research related to the application of shuujoshi ze is applied inmaking statement or used in changing statement into interjection and specifyingparticular unit of the statement to attract listeners. Shuujoshi ze also showing offthe speaker's wants, shuujoshi ze strengthens the speaker's suggestion towardslisteners. Shuujoshi zo is applied in showing imperative statement or threat. It isalso found that it strengthens the function mentioned and adding strength to theword to emerge the speaker's bravery or urging the speaker himself. The result ofdeletion technique analysis shows the insignificance of the shuujoshi ze and zo. Itmeans without shuujoshi ze and zo a sentence is still grammatical.

Abstract

My research problems are : 1. How are the structure and meaning of auxiliaryverb „–teiru‟ and „–tearu‟? 2. How are the similarities and differences betweenauxiliary verb „–teiru‟ and „–tearu‟?.The purpose of this research are : 1. To describe the structure and meaning ofauxiliary verb “–teiru” and “–tearu”. 2. To describe the the similarities anddifferences between auxiliary verb “–teiru” and “–tearu”. The research methodused is Agih method. In analyzing the data, this research used descriptive analysistechnique.The result of this research show that the auxiliary verb “-teiru‟ and “-tearu” areto express the meaning of condition and both are express resultatif aspect. Thedifference are : 1. auxiliary verb –teiru express the result of certain action. Thespeaker merely wants to describe the appearance of situation and auxiliary verb–teiru can used intransitive verb and transitive verb . 2. auxiliary verb –tearudescribes an action that is done with a certain objective in mind and auxiliaryverb –tearu only used transitive verb.

Abstract

This thesis research about literary reception. Literary reception is a study of reader response to literature. In reviewing and discussing literature for example novels or short stories, there are two kinds of readers. The expert readers and amateur readers. This thesis is an analysis of the literary reception of the response amateur reader with the number 15 Japanese respondents in view of a Japanese short story entitled "Koroshiya Desunoyo" by Hoshi Shin'ichi. The aim of this research is to describe the response or reception of respondents to the short story. The limit issues to be discussed are reception of respondents to the elements contained in the structure builder of the short story “Koroshiya Desunoyo” by using the method of reception of literature, sociology of literature and structural. The results to be achieved in this research is to know how much respondents understanding of the short story "Koroshiya Desunoyo" and to see the reception of respondents to the elements of the short story structure builder. Murdiani, Heri. “Nilai-Nilai Edukatif (Nilai Kepribadian dan Nilai Sosial) Dalam Novel Madogiwano Totto-Chan Karya Tetsukou Kuroyanagi”. Thesis. Japanese Literature Department. Faculty of Humanities Diponegoro University. Pembimbing I. Yudiono KS, SU. Pembimbing II. Fajria Noviana, SS, M.Hum. Madogiwano Totto-Chan is a novel which tells about the author’s experience, Tetsukou Kuroyanagi when she studied in Tomoe Gakuen. When she was young, her nick name was Totto-chan. Her teachers thought that Totto-chan was a naughty girl. In fact, she was a cheerful girl, but had great curiosity. She was kicked out of her school because she used to make noise at her class. Her mother then enrolled Totto-chan to Tomoe Gakuen. In that school, all students studied in a carriage. In Tomoe, the students were free to choose the sequence of lessons that they liked. Because this school was unique, Totto-chan felt at home. Day by day, Totto-chan felt happy and experienced unexpected things. The school story ended when Tomoe Gakuen was burned down by the bomb in World War II. This study aims to find out the generic structure of the novel, including the theme, the characters and characterization, the plot, the settings, and the central narrative. It also aims to seek the educative values (personality and social values) in Madogiwa no Totto-Chan. The educative values found in this novel was then analyzed to decide which ones can be applied in educational field. Keywords : Nilai-Nilai Edukatif, Madogiwano Totto-chan novel.

Abstract

Hitofusa No Budou is a short story by Arishima Takeo. Hitofusa No Budou tells about an indigenous boy who lives and study in a foreign place. This research tries to reveal personality of the main character in the Hitofusa No Budou. The methods is to obtain data with literatures. This research using a structural methods with uncovering the elements of literature that build up the whole meaning. Besides using structural methods, this research also using the approach literature psychoanalysis. Sigmund Freud's theory is used in this research. The result is that the main character has a personality, such as; envy, frightened or coward, uncommunicative, individually, justifies everything, whiny, unyielding, want to be a better individual, loner, obedient, can learning from experience and has a strong personality. The main character's personality structure is dominated by superego.
