Abstract

Kemampuan penalaran matematis menjadi salah satu aspek kognitif yang harus dimiliki oleh siswa karena sangat berfungsi untuk mengidentifikasi masalah, memilikirkan cara penyelesaian yang tepat, dan menyelesaikan masalah tersebut. Nyatanya, kemampuan penalaran siswa masih rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu: (1) untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran generatif, (2) untuk mengetahui perbandingan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran generatif dengan siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain control group pretest posttest design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Islam Zainatul Ulum. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan simple random sampling dan terpilih dua kelas yaitu kelas VIIa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIIb sebagai kelas kontrol. Pengumpulan data digunakan dengan menggunakan lembar tes kemampuan penalaran matematis. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh (1) Terdapat peningkatan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran generatif, dimana peningkatan kemampuan penalaran berada pada kategori sedang. (2) Berdasarkan uji-t maka diperoleh = 2,67 dan = 1,68 maka , dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran generatif lebih baik dibandingkan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa yang belajar dengan pembelajaran konvensional.

Abstract

Mathematical representation ability is an important skill that students must have in learning mathematics. However, based on the results of observations that researchers have conducted, it can be seen that students' mathematical representation ability has not yet developed optimally. Therefore, it is very important to create active learning in order to improve students' mathematical representation ability. One learning model that is thought to be able to solve the problem of students' mathematical representation ability is the AIR learning model. This study aims to determine the mathematical representation ability of students taught with the AIR learning model. The research method used is a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test-post-test control group design. Sampling in this study was taken by cluster random sampling. The sample consisted of 22 students in the experimental class and 25 students in the control class. The results showed that the mathematical representation ability of students taught with the AIR model was better than the mathematical representation ability of students taught with the conventional learning model.

Abstract

Rendahnya hasil belajar matematika siswa karena model yang digunakan guru tidak memperhatikan gaya belajar siswa yang beragam. suatu model pembelajaran yang diduga dapat menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut adalah model VAK. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model VAK terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa SMA/MA. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen. Dari hasil pengolahan data diperoleh yang berarti terima dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan model pembelajaran VAK terhadap hasil belajar siswa SMAS Darussaadah Teupin Raya. Selanjutnya penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran VAK dengan hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa SMA/MA. Dari hasil pengolahan data diperoleh yang berarti terima maka hasil belajar siswa yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan model VAK lebih baik dari pada siswa yang diajarkan dengan model konvensional.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) kesalahan-kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika berdasarkan Prosedur Newman, (2) Penyebab siswa melakukan kesalahan dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika berdasarkan Prosedur Newman. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan wawancara. penelitian ini melibatkan siswa kelas VII-1 yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Subjek untuk wawancara diambil 5 dari 30 siswa kelas VII-1, dengan kriteria siswa yang melakukan banyak kesalahan. Setiap subjek penelitian diwawancarai terkait hasil pekerjaannya pada soal aritmetika sosial. Uji keabsahan data dilakukan dengan triangulasi waktu. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya kesalahan yang dilakukan oleh siswa kelas VII-1 MTsN 4 Banda Aceh. Kesalahan yang dilakukan dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika pada materi aritmetika sosial yaitu: kesalahan memahami masalah, kesalahan transformasi masalah, kesalahan keterampilan proses, dan kesalahan penulisan jawaban akhir

Abstract

This study bibliometrically analyzes the relationship between critical thinking and mathematical anxiety using Google Scholar data through Publish or Perish, covering 2020–2026. From 983 documents, 46 articles were analyzed using VOSviewer to map publication trends, author collaboration networks, and keyword clustering. Publication trends were fluctuating, with a decline in 2021 attributed to the COVID-19 pandemic, followed by recovery in subsequent years. Publications were dominated by Indonesian local journals, with Miatun, A. as the most productive author. Two keyword clusters were identified, with "student", "critical thinking", and "mathematical anxiety" as conceptual cores. Research focus has shifted from general conceptual studies toward a more integrative cognitive-psychological approach. Density visualization indicates that mathematical anxiety remains at a low saturation level, offering broad opportunities for further exploration. This study is expected to serve as a roadmap for advancing research in mathematics education.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the process of developing mathematics learning media based on ethnomatics for grade VII at MTsN 1 Aceh Tengah, MTsN 7 Aceh Tengah and SMPN 4 Takengon, namely by using openwork motifs typical of the Gayo tribe, and to determine the response of teachers and students to the development of instructional media. Mathematics based on Islamic culture in the Gayo tribe uses the 4D development model so that it can determine the effectiveness of learning media. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews and questionnaires. Based on the results of research, the teacher's response to the media obtained an average score of 4.61 where x> 3.25 with the criteria "very good". In the trial to students, an average score of 4.46 was obtained where x> 3.25 with the criteria "very good". Based on this assessment, the Islamic culture-based quadrangle mathematics learning media can be used as a complement to teaching materials.

This study aims to determine the comparison of the mathematical communication skill of students of class VIII SMP who are taught through the Quantum Learning model. Mathematical communication skills are still low due to the inability of students to channel their ideas systematically. The research method used was experimental research with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study were all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 4 Langsa. Sampling was carried out using the Simple Random Sampling technique and obtained two classes, namely class VIII-5 as the experimental class and VIII-6 as the control class. Data collection was used by using a mathematical communication ability test sheet. From the research results obtained  and , then   means it can be concluded that the average mathematical communication skill of students who learned with Quantum Learning Model is better than the average mathematical communication skill of students who are taught using conventional learning.model.
