Abstract

Human resources is one of factors has an important role in improving employee performance. The population of this study were 93employees as respondent. From the results of data analysis conclude that Culture Organization has significant effect on Employe Performance of 56.3 percent. Commitment affect empoye performance by 67 percent. . Culture Organization and Commitment simultaneously affecting Employe Performance by 69.2 percent. . Based on these results, the management of PT. Suara Merdeka Press Semarang needs to consider the application of Culture Organization by division supervisor. Continuous guidance and supervision needs to be done so that employees work better. e needs of employees and the opportunity to move forward should be supported and facilitated.

Abstract

PT Djarum is one of the biggest where the production and operational takes place in Kudus. This research intended to find out impact role of total quality management (X1) and Compensation (X2) to the human resource quality (Y) of BL 53 Factory PT Djarum Kudus. The type of this research is explanatory research, with the population all of BL 53 Factory employee with total of 644 employees. 87 respondents used as sample which counted with Slovin Formula with simple random sampling technique. data collection techniques are interview and questioner. data analysis technique using validity test, reliability test, simple linear regression, double linear regression, T test and F test with SPSS 21.0. Based on regression equation and correlation coefficient can be seen that quality management and compensation had impact to the human resource quality.  From the determination coefficient total quality management had 60,8% and compensation had 59,1% of human resource quality.. In Conclusion the better or higher application of either total quality management and compensation will increase the human resource quality.

Abstract

Motivation , discipline , and work facilities is a supporting factor for achieving high performance in order to achieve optimal business profits . If the motivation , discipline, and work facilities of business is good, the high employee performance will be achieved, and the otherwise. Related to these three variables employee of Bumiputera 1912allegedly less motivated at work, lack of discipline, and didn’t get enough working facilities. For that this riset it was shown to determine how much influence the motivation, discipline, and facilities to employee performance ofBumiputera 1912 Semarang. The type of research that used areexplanatory research, with a population at all of permanent employees who work atBumiputera 1912semarangtotaly 70 people. The sampling technique census of this study, using quantitative analysis techniques analysis that techniques used is validity test, reliability test, simple linear regression , multiple linear regression , T test and F test with SPSS 15.0 tools . From the analysis of the data showing that 16.6%of motivationvariable have a significant influence on the performance variables. Discipline variables also have a significantinfluence on the 33.0 % performance variable and variable facility also has a significant influence on the 52.9 % performance variable. And the results of the study that variable influence motivation, discipline and facilities on the performance at 60.1 %, while remaining 39.9 % is explained by other non observedvariable . Advice that can given in this research is, increase work motivation by rewarding employees for their hard work for theadvancing of this company, honored in the work environment and the ability to work to get recognition from superiors and co-workers, and improve worker discipline according to standard company. completed work orders from each of supervisor so that employee more disciplined in terms of work and provide working facilities to thecompany so employees fully at work and provide facilities a large parking area , sothe employee will be easier to working if the working facility complete and decent according to the standard corporate

Abstract

Business competition more stringent demand of a bank to improve its performance in order to attract investor. Investors before sinking their capital requires information about the performance of companies. The ratio of financial analysis such as CAR, LDR, NPL, ROA, NIM and BOPO an alternative to test whether reduce its financial can be used to perform a prediction against the provision of credits the future. The ratio CAR, LDR, NPL, ROA, NIM and BOPO devired from internal condition bank concerned. When the factors in a state of healthy and the bank can be achieved. The problem in this research is the existence of dissent from the results of previous researches. The purpose of this research is to analyze influence CAR, LDR, NPL, ROA and BOPO to Credit Loan on PD. BPR BKK Pati City period 2007 – 2012.The data used is data secondary quarter from the financial report published by the PD. BPR BKK Pati City. The technique of the sample is purposive of sampling. Techniques that we use is linear regression analysis.Based on the linear regression worship of idols this research concludes that capital adequacy ratio, loan to deposit ratio and the operational cost operational income influential positive and significantly to the provision of credit. Meanwhile, non performing loan and return on assets negative effects and significantly to the provision of credit while net interest margin negative effects and insignificant against the provision of credit. Simultaneously there is significant influence between CAR, LDR, NPL, ROA, NIM and BOPO to Credit Loan with a coefficient determination of 0,960.Suggestion that can be conveyed based on the result analysis indicated that the management of the bank NPL ratio and ROA, it is necessary to pay close attention to because both the ratio of the bank financial is variable the most dominant and consistent in effecting a decrease in credit loan. While factors that affects the increase in credit loan is CAR, LDR, BOPO. This can be used as guidelines either by the company management, in the management of the company and by investors in determining an investment strategy.

Abstract

Many companies operated on business transport services especially bus caused consequence as fiercely competition in order to get customer and maintain customer satisfaction. Based on those the problem in this research is decrease volume of passenger on PO. Haryanto in 2009-2011. This research aim to know is there any influence between quality services and customer value toward customer satisfaction. Research type is explanatory research. Because of indefinite population so retrieved the sample as much as 100 respondents with Purposive sampling method. The collection of data used questionnaire. Data analysis used linear regression analysis. The result of this research shown that quality services and customer value has positive influence and significant to purchase decision even partially (with the result each 59,9% and 47,9%) and simultaneously 60,2% with quality services as the biggest influence. Advice to PO. Haryanto Kudus to notice some factors such as price determination, besides cost elements also price that set by competitors. Management considered to more disciplining and give referrals especially for some new employee that often become complaint from the customer to always be friendly and more quickly as well as customer demand so can give maximum services to all customer

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of job skills, compensation and work discipline on the performance of nurses. The population of this research is warn nurse in public unit section at Sultan Agung Islamic Hospital Semarang and researchers took a sample of 122 nurses. In linear regression analysis was used and the significance test using SPSS 20.0. From the data analysis it can be concluded that in partial, job skills has a positive effect on the performance of 26,6%, the compensationvariable has a positive influence on the performance behavior of 15,3%, and work discipline variable has positive effect on behavioral performance of 12,2%. Simultaneously job skills, compensation, and work discipline variable has a positive effect on the performance by 31,9%. Based on the research results, the researchers suggest that hospitals improve nursing skills in making decisions relating to nursing task followed by giving them profession allowance according to their expectation and educational status, and the relation with the discipline of work is the starting time, so the performances of the nurse can be increased optimally.

Abstract

Dairy beverage industry company PT . Frisian Flag is introducing dairy products under the brand through advertising flag with electronic media . Thus it is imperative for companies such as dairy beverage processing PT.Frisian Flag that produce milk with a brand flag to know the behavior of consumers , in order to implement brand development strategy is mainly associated with a media campaign that also will be used further in the future . This study aims to : ( 1 ) To determine the effect of brand equity on purchase decisions flag dairy products . ( 2 ) To determine the effect of promotions on purchase decisions flag dairy products . ( 3 ) To determine the effect of brand equity and promotion of dairy product purchasing decisions flag . This type of research is quantitative research , the technique of collecting data through questionnaires . The sampling technique used judgement sampling technique , the sample of 100 people who consume milk flag Frisian Flag UHT Low Fat & High Calcium in Semarang . The analytical method used was simple and multiple regression analysis , the validity and reliability .Based on the analysis , the conclusion is : ( 1 ) Variable FF UHT milk brand equity LF & HC classified in the high category . ( 2 ) Variable UHT milk promotion FF LF & HC is good . ( 3 ) a decision variable purchase UHT milk LF FF & HC is fair. ( 4 ) brand equity variables have an influence on purchase decision variable of 0.248 . ( 5 ) promotion variables have an influence on purchase decision variable that is equal to 0.278 . ( 6 ) and promotion of brand equity variables have an influence on the purchase decision of .760 .

Abstract

Credit sales have not all risks can be realized receivable into cash so that the company established a reserve for doubtful accounts receivable which aims to have a significant portion of total assets to reflect the liquidity and credit sales results are still in the form of accounts receivable to reflect profitability. PT. Kimia Farma Trading & Distribution Branch Semarang have in shaping policy reserves for doubtful accounts but these policies have not been able to reflect liquidity and profitability as reserves for doubtful accounts has a value greater than doubtful accounts. The purpose of the study was to determine the liquidity and profitability by implementing Markov Chain Analysis. he method used is descriptive analytical fact finding Markov Chain Analysis of the calculation results are considered to reflect the liquidity and profitability. The results of the study are reserve for doubtful accounts of 2.5% - 3.5%. determined through the analysis of a Markov chain has a value smaller than the percentage of reserves for doubtful accounts is determined by the company so that the percentage Liquidity Current Ratio and Quick Ratio increased by 2% - 4%, Profitability is in addition to the percentage of ROA and net profit margin also increased by 1% - 2%. Companies can apply Markov chain analysis as an alternative policy determination of reserves for doubtful accounts.

Abstract

PT. Asuransi Jasa Indonesia Semarang is a company focus on loss insurance. All this time the company only seen performance from financial aspect without noticed to non-financial aspect so there discrepancy between two aspects. Balanced Scorecard's  as a performance measurement system that will score company’s performance not only financial but also non-financial too. This research was conducted PT. Asuransi Jasa Indonesia Semarang with balanced scorecard approach to measuring through four perspectives which is financial perspective, customer perspective, internal business process perspective, and learning and growth perspective. The purpose of this research was to determine the performance of PT. Asuransi Jasa Indonesia Semarang seen from the balanced scorecard method. The data used is using primary data obtained through observation and FGD (Focus Group Discussion). Beside the primary data, secondary data used in this research such as financial data period of 2010-2012. From the results of measurements that have been done show that financial perspective performance was quite good but still a lot of current assets not yet maximized. Customer perspective performance was quite good during last three years although customer retention and customer acquisition had fluctuating movement. Beside that internal business process performance categorized was enough because still less effective and efficient in perform to operate it. Learning and growth perspective performance was quite good but the company must pay attention to employee productivity that still unstable. Suggestion which can be submitted is PT. Asuransi Jasa Indonesia Semarang must pay more attention to non-financial aspects especially internal business process perspective and learning and growth perspective.

Abstract

 This study aims to examine the relationships of financial ratios Capital Adequacy Ratio ( CAR ) , Loan to Deposit Ratio ( LDR ) , Operating expences To Operating Income Ratio ( BOPO ) , and Non - Performing Loan ( NPL ) credits distribution partially and simultaneously.The data used in this study are listed banking companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange for 5 consecutive years - also , ie 2008 to 2012. The criteria used is a company whose shares are actively traded on the Stock Exchange , for 5 consecutive years . This study uses multiple regression analysis , t-test for testing the ratio - the ratio of the partial finance , and test f .The results of statistical calculation with linear regression analysis can be shown by the regression equation  Y = 32.260,676  -  1.955,127 X1  + 580,887 X2  –  2.689,451 X3 + 588,208 X4. From the regression equation it is known that the CAR, LDR ,BOPO , and NPL , jointly significant effect on Loan Portfolio . The results of the calculation of the magnitude of the coefficient of determination 0.525 . It is indicating that the CAR ,LDR , BOPO , and NPL  were able to explain the purchase decision variables by 52.5 % . While the remaining 47.5 % is explained by other variables that are not observed . Based on the results of the data analysis we can conclude the effect of the CAR , LDR, BOPO , the NPL and credits distribution has a strong degree of closeness of relationship this means that the higher the CAR , LDR , BOPO , the NPL will result in the higherCredits Distribution
