Abstract

Current condition of the laptop competition is very tight, so the company should make a strategy to achieve a higher market share. Laptops are one of the tool to meeting the needs of consumers in the field of technology and information. Dell is a company engaged in the information technology industry. The purpose of this study was to know the effect of brand image and product quality to the brand laptop Dell purchase decision. This type of research is explanatory research, the number of respondents are 100 peoples with purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this study using questionnaires, interviews, and literature. The analytical method used is the validity, reliability, correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination, simple linear regression, t test, regression multiple linear, and F testBased on the analysis of the study variables of brand image and product quality has a positive influence on purchasing decisions. Quality variable of the products have the most impact which 56.3%. While the brand image variables have an effect of 46.7%. Taken together (simultaneously) variables brand image and product quality has a contribution of 59% of the purchase decision. In conclusion there is positive between the brand image and product quality to the Dell brand laptop purchase decision. Suggestions for improvement of purchasing decisions by improving product quality and pay more attention to deficiencies which can be obtained through consumer complaints. Besides maintaining a good brand image that is by keep in constant communication with consumers and provide a clearer information to attract the attention of consumers better.

Abstract

Labor as resources who have skills, potential and creativity need to be developed as optimal as possible to be able to achieve the success of the company. Employee productivity is affected by several factors, including the work culture, motivation and social security. Decrease employee productivity are caused by less good work culture, lack of motivation and lack of social security services. PT. Gentong Gotri Semarang as one of the organization of a business which moves in the tobacco industry inside of them there are roll departement employees who are actively involved in activities company every day which is the production of cigarette.This study aims to identify and explain the effect of cultural work , motivation and social security on employee productivity cigarette factory roll departement at PT. Gentong Gotri Semarang. This research uses research tipe explanatory approach to 75 respondents with purposive sampling technique sampling. Data collection techniques in this study using the technique of interviews, questionnaires, observation and study of literature. The analysis technique used is qualitative and quantitative. Quantitative analysis using frequency table, cross-table analysis, validity test, reliability test, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression and tests of significance (t test and F test) with the help of SPSS program for Windows version 20.0.Results of statistical analysis known partial effect between the working culture and employee productivity of 29,2%, then the motivation with employee productivity equation of 33,5%. While the social scurity with employee productivity of 23%. Simultaneous influence cultural work, motivation and social security on employee productivity of 36,2% while 63,8% is influenced by other factors.Recommendations for improving employee productivity for the company to increase its attention to the work culture, motivation and assurance which in turn will ultimately increase employee productivity from employees.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the development of mobile operators in Indonesia in its journey was not immediately successful as it is now. There is a process and the time that it takes to be a reliable provider. The mobile phone is no longer a luxury item that use only wear certain circles. From adults to children, cellular phone is already a common goods and are also easy to use to communicate. However, based on the pre-study, researchers get the fact that there is a decline in customers to use GSM simcard simpati since the presence of competitors GSM provider. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of product quality and customer value on customer loyalty GSM simcard simpati S1 case studies on the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences. This type of research is explanatory research. document collection methods used were questionnaires, interviews, and observations. The sample in this study amounted to 100 respondents using a sampling technique using multi-stage sampling technique and purposive sampling . Linear regression analysis and significance test is used to prove the hypothesis using SPSS.The results of this study show that in partial product quality has a positive effect on customer loyalty simpati. While the value of the variable customer has a positive effect on customer loyalty and simapati GSM simcard is the variable with the greatest influence. Simultaneously, the variable quality of the customer and the customer has an influence on the value of customer loyaitas by 32.6%. Based on the results of the study, the researchers suggested the company to improve product quality attention, especially if the signal strength is in a rural and mountainous areas, ease of facilities / features, reproduce cheap promo surf and phone at an affordable price by the students so as to increase customer loyalty to use GSM simcard simpati.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the level of competition in the business field in Indonesia that is more getting strict in this globalization era. One product that has been competed by the manufacturer in this era is the woman’s shampoo product. Sunsilk Shampoo It had become first rank in the Top Brand Index (TBI) in Indonesia since 2010 until 2011. However, in 2012 until 2014, Sunsilk had not been longer at the first rank and the percentage was continously decline. If the declination is not immediately fixed, then Sunsilk shampoo will be fall down. Wherefore, there are so many brands of shampoos on the market that are most likely to shift the position of Sunsilk popularity in Indonesia nowadays.This research aims to detect the influence of product quality, price, advertising for Sunsilk shampoo’s customer loyalty. This type of research is explanatory, within collecting data through questionnaires and interviews. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique. The sample amounted to 96 people who are female students users of Sunsilk shampoo at Faculty of Public Health Diponegoro University, Semarang. This research used a qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis technique. Quantitative analysis uses validity, reliability test, correlation coefficient, simple and multiple regression analysis, coefficient of determination, significance test (t test and F test).The results of this analysis showed that the variable of product quality, price and advertisement has a positive and significant effect partially for customer loyalty. Three variables were analyzed partially and simultaneously, the coefficient of the variable of product quality is greater than the other two variables. From three variables also obtained the result that the variable of product quality has greatest influential on customer loyalty of Sunsilk shampoo users. It was 0.583, while the price variable about 0.217 and 0,215 for advertising variables. While the coefficient of determination (R2) from variable of product quality, price and advertisement toward variable of customer loyalty was 36.2%. It meant that 36.2% of variable of customer loyalty can be explained by these three variables, while the remaining 63.8% is explained by other variables.Suggestions in this research is Sunsilk shampoo should improve the quality of their products function in order to their hair problems can be overcome well and not make new hair problems, create an aroma for all variants so that more visible the special of Sunsilk shampoo, increase the durability of Sunsilk shampoo’s aroma that could be durable more than one day, and increase the clarity of message from the advertisement by creating the short slogans but has clear meaning from the message conveyed in order to Sunsilk shampoo can stick out in the competition as today.

Abstract

Along with the times, the competition of UKM is getting tougher so that requires every manufacturer to be able to increase the demand for its products. Batik is a cultural heritage that is born as an art work that continues to evolve along with the times and needs to be preserved. Pekalongan batik industry has good potential and continues to grow. However, during the year of 2009-2013 sales results in Wiradesa batik industry, Pekalongan fluctuated. If this is not resolved then feared Wiradesa batik industry cannot develop so it cannot compete with other batik industry.The purpose of this research is to recognize and explain the influence of product design, product quality, and price towards purchase decision of Kampung Batik Wiradesa, Pekalongan District. This research is explanatory research type approach uses towards towards 97 respondents with a sampling technique accidental sampling. Type of data collection of this study are using the technique of questionnaires, interviews, observation and literature methods.The analysis technique used was qualitative and quantitative. Quantitative analysis using cross-tables, test validity, reliability test, determination coefficient, correlation coefficient, a simple linear regression, multiple linear regression and test of significance (t-test and F-test) and also use the help application programs SPSS 20.0 for Windows.Results of statistical analysis known partial effect between product design towards purchase decision by 25,3%, product quality towards purchase decision by 33,8% and price towards purchase decision by 39,4%. The simultaneous influence of product design, product quality and price on purchase decision is 45,2% and 54,8% is affected by other factors.From these results it can be concluded that the product design, product quality, and price, has influence on purchase decisions either partially or simultaneously. Based on these conclusions, then owner of the UKM need to pay attention to the things about product design development to be more varied in style, color and model, improve the quality of the products offered, as well as give the price according to the quality of the product.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fluctuations of the Kiriman Hantaran Berangat (KHB) and not achieving the target turnover predetermined PT Herona Express Semarang in recent years . In addition , the performance of services decreased followed by a decrease in customer ratings. The purpose of this research is conducted to determine the influence of service performance and customer value to repurchase with the customer satisfaction as an intervening variable. Type of research used in this research is explanatory research. The population is a freight forwarder users through PT Herona Express Semarang. The sample are 100 person who have done the repurchase services at least twice, with sample technique used was purposive sampling.The method of analysis used in this study is using a two-stage regression analysis with SPSS for windows 16.0, which previously tested the validity and reliability first. Based on calculations show that variable service performance have an influence to customer satisfaction with the coefficient 0,367. Variable customer value have an influence to customer satisfaction with the coefficient 0,254. Variable customer satisfaction have an influence to repurchase with the coefficient 0,622. The result shows that service performance and customer value has a positive and significant effect (partial)to the customer satisfaction of each 30,5% and 27,2%. Customer satisfaction also has a positive and significant effect (partial)to the repurchase of 38,6%.

Abstract

This research was conducted in account of the vastly developing book industries, indicated by an increasing number of competitors in the market. Specifically this research was focused on Toko Gunung Agung in Cirebon Mall, which was a part of one of the biggest network in Indonesia's book industry, However in the period 2011-2013 there is a gap between expectations and reality of customers who conduct transactions student book. Therefore the company had to recreate the store's positive image and raise the service quality standard in order to ensure the customer's satisfaction which will lead to a re-purchase decision.                The purpose of this research was to describe the effect of store image and service quality to repurchase decision through customer satisfaction Toko Gunung Agung Cirebon Mall customer. This research was of explanatory type, with the means of questionnaire and interview for data obtained. Sampling was carried through purposive sampling, in the number of 100 from the respective store customers. Data was then analyzed through appropriate qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques, in which the quantitative techniques include validity test, reliability test, correlation coefficient, single and multiple regression, coefficient of determination, significance test ( t and F test), and path analysis.                The result showed that store image (X1)) and service quality (X2) simultaneously as well as partially affected customer satisfaction (Y1) and repurchase decision (Y2)). Furthermore, path analysis showed that the direct effect of store image (X1)) and service quality (X2) on repurchase decision (Y2) was significantly bigger than its indirect effect through customer satisfaction (Y1).                Finally, it was suggested that Toko Gunung Agung Cirebon Mall should improve the arrangement of their product's display, exterior design of the store, adding the number of computer which used as catalog, adjusting the store music properly, and to held a discount program once in a while in order to survive the increasing competition in the industry.

Abstract

The development of a business unit can be affected by a variety of factors, both internal and external company factors. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of the business network, product innovation and competition against the development of micro, small and medium enterprises. The research type is explanatory research. The population was 562 units from small and medium food industries in Kuningan District with 85 sample taken using disproportionate stratified random sampling and simple random sampling. Data collection using the questionnaire. Data analysis using linear regression analysis. The results showed that the business network, product innovation and competition are jointly undertaking a positive and significant effect against involving the development of micro, small and medium enterprises. Researchers suggest that IKM constantly enhance cooperation with various parties to build wider business network, improve product innovation and improve competitiveness so that IKM can continue to thrive in the midst of the current competition.

Abstract

The research was motivated by the decrease in the sales division employees at PT. Nasmoco Kaligawe annually. In addition, many employees who complained about the lack of support in the organization of work, coupled with the level of employee performance in achieving sales targets fluktuatif. The aim of this research is conducted to determine the influence of commitment organizational and perceived organizational support to company performance through organizational citizenship behavior. The population is all of employees of the sales division. The sample are 60 person of employees of sales division, with sample technique used was sensus sampling. The analysis used in this research is the Path Analysis using software SPS 15.0, which previously tested the validity, reliability, correlation coefficient, simple and multiple regression analysis, the coefficient of determination, and signification test (t test and F test) first. The result of this research approved that commitment organizational (X1) and perceived organizational support (X2) partially or simultaneously can influenced organizational citizenship behavior (Y1) and employee performance (Y2). According the result of path analysis showed that organizational citizenship behavior variable is intervening variable towards employee performance in this research.

Abstract

PT.KAI is a transportation company that provides online purchase. High public interest for purchasing online ticket, make PT.KAI presenting the latest innovations in order to facilitate the users of the railway. This study aimed to determine the effect of an online system services, tariffs, and the publication of the decision purchasing  train tickets online relationships Semarang and Jakarta. The type of this research is eksplanatory research with data collection tool is questionnaire. This study uses the 100 respondents who made a purchase train tickets online relationships Semarang and Jakarta. The sampling technique of this study was accidental sampling. The analysis instrument is validity test and reliability test. Data analysis that used is correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination, simple linear regression, t test, multiple linear regression, and F test.Based on the results of analysis show that in partial service online system contributes influence on purchasing decisions online by 14.4%, variable rates contributed influence on purchasing decisions online by 10.1% and publications variables contributing influence on purchasing decisions online at 8.1%. Simultaneously service online systems, tariffs, and publications contributing influence on purchasing decisions online at 21.2%. The conclusion of this study shows online system services, tariffs, and publications partially and simultaneously influence purchasing decisions online train tickets relation Semarang and Jakarta. Based on these results, PT.Kereta Api Indonesia DAOP IV Semarang must be able to maintain and continue to develop online systems services, the tariffs that were set according to the expected benefits for the consumer, and PT.KAI expected to increase the intensity of publications and information dissemination channel diversity.
