Abstract

ABSTRACT Today's tough competition and dynamic environment have forced companies to rethink the way they manage to get the best out of their employees. One way that companies can do this is by developing the creativity of their employees. With this, the company can get the best ideas from employees. Activities that can be carried out to influence the level of employee creativity include leadership styles, organizational support, and knowledge sharing. The population in this study were employees of BSI Region VII or the Semarang region. The sampling technique in this study used a census where all members of the population were used as samples from various employees with different positions. The analysis technique used is path analysis with the SPSS 25 program to determine the path coefficient and the effect of the independent variables on the dependent variable. This study aims to examine the effect of Transformational Leadership and Employee Creativity on Employee Creativity mediated by Knowledge Sharing on employees of PT Bank Syariah Semarang. The results of the study show that Transformational Leadership has a positive and significant effect on Employee Creativity. Transformational Leadership has a positive and significant effect on Knowledge Sharing. Organizational Support has a positive and significant effect on Employee Creativity. Organizational Support has a negative and insignificant effect on Employee Creativity.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The development of new technology and innovation in business practices causes competition for each company to become increasingly fierce. Alldays is a creative economy business operating in the beauty industry. This research aims to analyze and develop a conceptual model regarding marketing strategies using TikTok live streaming as a promotional medium to improve the performance of the Alldays beauty business as measured by the level of existence and income. In conducting this research, data was collected from the source that was the research object, namely Alldays. This research uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach. The type of case study used is Case Study Research because research is carried out on specific objects in real-life contexts contained in Alldays, which are temporary and specific. This research involves direct contact with the research object, namely Alldays, which means it is specific. The research results show that promotional activities using TikTok live streaming positively impact Alldays, especially in terms of brand awareness and e-trust. In line with this, promotional content via TikTok live streaming positively and significantly impacts purchase decisions. The marketing strategy using TikTok live streaming has positively and significantly impacted Alldays' business performance, especially in increasing existence and revenue. The continued increase in followers on social media and financial report records proves this. This research is expected to help develop the Alldays company marketing strategy and can become valuable literature for scientists.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Compensation satisfaction plays an important role in employees' motivation and affective commitment to the company they work for. The emergence of commitment to employees reflects the employee's attitude towards their work, where a high level of satisfaction indicates a positive attitude towards work. Employees who have a high level of affective commitment tend to feel emotionally attached to the organization and are more likely to remain employed in the long term and also perform well. This research aims to analyze the influence of compensation satisfaction on employee performance through affective commitment at PT Suara Merdeka. This research uses a questionnaire using a non-probability sampling method using sensus sampling. The research results show that compensation satisfaction has a positive effect on employee performance and that affective commitment plays a mediating role in this relationship. The implication of this research is the importance of companies paying attention to fair compensation policies and fostering employee affective commitment to improve employee performance and retention.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aimed to examine the influence of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Financing to Deposite Ratio (FDR), Operating Costs and Operating Income (BOPO), Bank Age, Interest Rates (SBI) on the financial performance of sharia banking registered on the Financial Services Authority (OJK). Bank financial performance was measured by Return on Assets (ROA). .The population used in this research was sharia banking registered on the Financial Services Authority (OJK) for the 1st quarter 2015 to 4th quarter 2019 period. The number of samples used was 11 sharia banks which were taken using the purposive sampling method. The analysis method used was panel data regression with STATA 17 as a data processing tool. The research results showed that the influence of the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Financing to Deposite Ratio (FDR), Operational Costs and Operational Income (BOPO), Bank Age, and Interest Rates (SBI) had a significant effect on financial performance (ROA) simultaneously. As partial, Adequacy Ratio (CAR) and Financing to Deposite Ratio (FDR) had a positive and significant effect on ROA, Operational Costs and Operating Income (BOPO), and Interest Rates (SBI) had a negative and significant effect on ROA, while Bank Age had no significant effect to ROA.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Semarang city as the capital of Central Java province with its various easy access can be an option for developing business. This is an opportunity for business development in the F&B (Food and Beverages) sector, such as the coffee shop business. In an effort to win competition from many coffee shop outlets in the long term, innovative strategies are needed as a differentiator from competitors that can keep this business in demand by customers. This research aims to prove the influence of the relationship between brand experience on repurchase intentions through customer perceived value and customer satisfaction (study on Kopi Janji Jiwa in Semarang City). The data collected came from the results of distributing questionnaires to 130 respondents with the criteria being at least 17 years old, domiciled in Semarang, and having purchased Jani Jiwa coffee in the city of Semarang at least once. The results of the data collection were then analyzed quantitatively and structurally using the SEM-PLS (Partial Least Square) method using SmartPLS version 4. The results of this study prove that brand experience has a positive and significant effect on repurchase intention, brand experience has a positive and significant effect on customer perceived value, customer perceived value has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, customer perceived value has a positive and significant effect on Repurchase intention and customer satisfaction have a significant positive effect on repurchase intention. The managerial implication that can be applied is to use this research as a consideration for Kopi Janji Jiwa in serving its customers when consuming Janji Jiwa coffee, so that customers get a positive experience and value.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the effect of impact of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) program on worker’s workplace productivity, with competency as a moderating variable. This study uses TVET as the independent variable, productivity as the dependent variable, and competency as the moderating variable. The population of this study consists of all contract employees in the Assembly department of PT. XYZ who were recruited from November 2021 to March 2023, totaling 100 people. This study uses the entire population as the sample or utilizes a saturated sample. The data used in this research were obtained through a questionnaire method and tested and analyzed using SmartPLS 4.0 software. The results of the study indicate that participation in the TVET program has a positive and significant impact on an individual's workplace productivity. Additionally, it was found that competence mastery can moderate by strengthening the relationship between participation in the TVET program and workplace productivity

Abstract

ABSTRACT The Covid – 19 pandemic has had many detrimental effects, one of which is the decrease in MSME income which has caused many businesses to have to go out of business, as for ways to overcome these problems by keeping up with the times and changing the sales system from initially offline to online. One way is to use social media as a means of promotion and attracting consumers to make purchases. One of the social media used is Tiktok, Tiktok is a social media platform from China which is currently also creating online shopping features for its users. This study aims to determine the effect of Social Media Marketing, Influencer Reputation, and Discounted Prices on Brand Trust which encourages consumers to make impulsive buying decisions. This research was conducted using a survey method with a Goggle Form questionnaire given to users of the Tiktok Shop Platform. Methods of data collection using purposive sampling. In this study tested using 100 samples obtained from the questionnaire. The data is processed using the PLS (Partial Least Square) analysis technique through the SmartPLS V.4 software. The results of this research data processing indicate that Social Media Marketing, Influencer Reputation, and Discount Price have a positive influence on Brand Trust. In addition, this study also shows that Brand Trust has a positive influence on Impulsive buying decisions.

Abstract

ABSTRACT. As a result of the deadly Corona virus pandemic at the end of 2019, many companies have had to comply with government decisions regarding the implementation of the Work from Home (WFH) program for businesses around the world to suppress the spread of COVID-19. This decision has an impact on companies and employees in the city of Semarang who must make the transition to working from home by teleworking. With the high index of technological development in Indonesia showing a drastic increase from the previous year regarding the use of internet and technology create a supportive conditions for the implementation of the work from home program for employees in the city of Semarang, The theory of stimulus-response is used in this study to investigate the influence of employee’s physical work environment conditions during the transition to changes in the work from home program to employees performance. Data obtained from 150 respondents in Semarang City were analyzed using a structural equation model (SEM) using the partial least squares (PLS) method in the SmartPLS application. Open questions were also used in this research as additional information to show the background conditions of the work environment experienced by respondents during the work-from-home program. The results from the report's findings show that workspace design or layout, ambiance conditions, and work equipment all have a positive and significant impact on employee performance. Consequently, in this research, all hypotheses were accepted. The management implications of this study are intended to provide suggestions for increasing employees work performance during the work from home program by making regulatory schemes and recommendations regarding things that employees must do regarding the workspace design or layout, implementing disciplinary reports, and considering the background of prospective employees with the space availability and workspace comfort that employees have at home during the recruiting program.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to examine the influence of the intellectual capital component on the company’s financial performance of companies listed on NIKKEI 225 and the Jakarta Composite Index for 2018-2021. The intellectual capital components that are tested include human capital (HCE), structural capital (SCE), relational capital (RCE), innovation capital (RDE), dan capital employed (CEE). This research also looks at the differences in the influence of intellectual capital on companies in Japan and Indonesia. The data used in this research is secondary data originating from the financial reports of companies listed on NIKKEI 225 and Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) during the 2018-2021 period. The required data was obtained from Bloomberg. This research uses multiple regression analysis in the SPSS program. The research results show that HCE and RCE have a significant negative influence on the company’s financial performance, while SCE, RDE, and CEE have a significant positive influence on the company’s financial performance. Apart from that, the difference in the influence of intellectual capital concludes that Japan will have worse ROA performance than Indonesia.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The development of the digital world has permeated every aspect of life, where almost every aspect of human life is affected by the digitization. Digitization has revolutionized nearly all aspects of societal life, including the banking sector. Digital transformation in the banking sector has significantly altered financial services. The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of digital banking transaction intensity, digital banking transaction value, NonPerforming Loans (NPL), and diversification as independent variables on bank’s profitability measured by Return on Assets (ROA) as the dependent variable. The population in this research consists of commercial banks in Indonesia registered with the Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) and Bank Indonesia (BI) until 2022. The sample was taken using secondary data with a time series approach, in monthly data from 2017 to 2022, obtained from the OJK and BI’s publication report. Data analysis utilized the multiple linear regression test conducted using SPSS version 25. The results of this research indicate that the intensity of digital banking transactions significantly and positively effected profitability, measured by ROA (Return on Assets), while the value of digital banking transactions significantly and negatively affected ROA. Other findings from this research shows that Non-Performing Loans (NPL) have a significant and negative impact on ROA, and diversification has a positive but not significant effect on ROA.
