Abstract

ABSTRACT Wazza Design is a start-up consulting company that operates their business in the field of marketing and web design. The company are having partnership with other businesses or known as B2B. Moreover, Wazza Design is a new and young start-up business with less than a year of experience. Currently, the company has a limited amount of capable and qualified personnel in their organization. Apart from the current action done by Wazza Design, the company is still looking forward to adding more talents with various backgrounds of education and experience which could be used to improve Wazza Design’s performance and stimulate growth. In order to attract the potential student talents, the researcher conducted research regarding the strategies that could be implemented by Wazza Design. The method that was used was the qualitative method. Primary data was obtained by spreading the questionnaire and conducting interviews with the students of the Netherlands. As for the Secondary data, it was obtained from reliable sources such as research with similar discussion such as journals, textbooks and theories and credible statistics obtained from Statista.com. Based on the research, the student talents in the Netherlands are using social media platforms to find a job. Therefore 2 strategic recommendations have been created; Optimizing Wazza Design’s Social Media Profile and Using Employer Branding Strategies to Build the reputation of Wazza Design

Abstract

ABSTRACT The electric vehicle (EV) and EV battery (EVB) industry in Indonesia is in its early stages of development, with key players such as Indonesia Battery Corporation (IBC), an Indonesian-based battery company, and Hyundai, South Korea’s largest automotive manufacturer. This research applies the National Competitive Advantage theory to explore the impact of the Indonesia-South Korea Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IK-CEPA) on this emerging sector. This research examines the impact of the IK-CEPA on Indonesia's nascent electric vehicle (EV) and EV battery (EVB) industry. Key influencers for EV and EVB growth include government incentives, charging infrastructure, green energy adoption, and fluctuating gas prices. Open-ended interviews were conducted with appropriate respondents working in related industry. Findings reveal that current government incentives boost EV adoption, yet the broader EV and EVB sector in Indonesia remains emergent. The IK-CEPA bolsters the industry by fostering economic collaboration between Indonesia and South Korea, attracting significant investments from leading South Korean EV and EVB corporations. However, the industry's advancement is curtailed by inadequate charging infrastructure, particularly outside Jakarta. For widespread EV adoption, consumer concerns such as charging facilities, market variety, and total cost of ownership need addressing. This study advocates for an internalized value chain in Indonesia's EV sector, emphasizing cost efficiency and attracting foreign EV enterprises. Through the IK-CEPA, the mutual benefits of technology exchange, cost reductions, and market accessibility can considerably enhance Indonesia's position in the global EV industry

Abstract

ABSTRACT Employee job satisfaction is a critical factor affecting employee decisions to stay within an organization. This phenomenon is not an exception in the context of hospitals. The challenging work conditions in hospitals can lead to indications of job dissatisfaction among both medical and non-medical staffs, ultimately increasing the chance of employees leaving their job. Prior research has indicated that job satisfaction is not only derived from the fulfillment of material needs but also from spiritual well-being. This study explores the impact of workplace spirituality on job satisfaction and the analysis of the mediating effect of employee trust. The research sample was selected using purposive sampling method, involving employees from Rumah Sakit Advent Medan. A total of 179 medical and non-medical staffs who had superiors were included as respondents in this study. The data from the respondents were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with second-order/higher-order constructs, utilizing SmartPLS 3.2.9 for Mac. The findings reveal that workplace spirituality has a positive and significant impact on employee job satisfaction and employee trust. Similarly, the influence of employee trust on job satisfaction was found to be significantly positive. It was also found that employee trust partially mediated the indirect influence of workplace spirituality on job satisfaction.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to determine and analyze the intitiative of green human resource management on firm environmental performance through organizational citizenship behavior for the environment and proactive environmental strategy as intervening variables at the holdings of PT Samudera Indonesia Tbk. The study includes the entire population of managerial-level employees under the Samudera Logistics business unit consists of 61 respondents. Data collection involved distributing questionnaires to the research sample using a hybrid approach, both directly and through electronic mail. The questionnaire measured samples using a Likert Scale (5 points), and hypothesis testing was conducted using the Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) method with the assistance of SmartPLS software version 4.0. The statistical test results indicate that the green human resource management variable does not have a significant direct influence on firm environmental performance. This was also found in testing the intervening variable of proactive environmental strategy, which did not significantly mediate the influence between the two. However, the influence between green human resource management and firm environmental performance becomes significant when mediated by the organizational citizenship behavior for the environment variable.

Abstract

ABSTRACT As an archipelagic country with the largest sea area in the world, Indonesia has huge potential to become the global maritime axis. This plays a crucial role for the country’s growth and prosperity. The diverse maritime potential of Indonesia also contributes greatly to the welfare and prosperity of its people. It has a positive impact on the potential of marine tourism in Indonesia, which can contribute to both the national and local economy of the tourist area itself. One of the famous marine attractions in Indonesia is Bunaken National Park. This study aims to analyze the influence of Destination Image, Destination Service Quality, Perceived Value towards Revisit Intention with Tourist Satisfaction as the intervening variable. This study utilizes a quantitative method with a purposive sampling technique. The study population consists of tourists living outside Manado city, with the data collection conducted through online questionnaires. As a result, 168 respondents meet the criteria. Subsequently, the data gathered is being analyzed using the Structural Equation Modelling method with the Analysis Moment of Structural (AMOS) software. The result of the study shows that Destination Image has a significant positive effect on Tourist Satisfaction, Destination Service Quality has a significant positive effect on Tourist Satisfaction, Perceived Value has a significant positive effect on tourist satisfaction, tourist satisfaction has a positive effect on Revisit Intention, Destination Image has no significant positive effect on Revisit Intention , Destination Service Quality has no significant positive effect on Revisit Intention and Perceived Value has no significant positive effect on Revisit Intention.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Embun Senja is one of the coffee shops in the city of Semarang which can attract as many as 500-1,000 consumers a day. Initially, the market segmentation focused on the general public, but as the market developed, the market segmentation was students, even though the price offered was relatively expensive compared to other competitors. This study aims to analyze the effect of product quality, service quality, promotional prices, and the use of QRIS on students' purchasing decisions at Coffee Shop Embun Senja, Semarang. This research is classified as a quantitative analysis with primary data obtained through the results of the respondent's questionnaire. The population in this study were all students in the city of Semarang, while the sample for this study was set at 100 respondents. The method used to identify the effect of the independent variables on the dependent variable is multiple linear regression. The results showed that the variable product quality, service quality, promotion, and price had a significant positive effect while the use of QRIS had no significant effect on purchasing decisions. The use of QRIS does not have a significant impact on purchasing decisions because the majority of Coffee Shops in the Tembalang and Banyumanik areas (competitors) already use QRIS as non-cash payment transactions so that in this case it provides a perception of convenience but has a significant impact on purchasing decisions. Statistical tests show that promotion is the factor that most influences purchasing decisions followed by price, product quality, use of QRIS, and service quality.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The energy sector is an industry that specifically influences a company’s production increase and generally affects the country’s economy. The addition of energy sector companies from year to year in Indonesia has led to increased competition in the energy sector. The fluctuation of company values for investors serves as a benchmark for investment decisions and for managers as a benchmark for performance achievements. This research aims to analyze the influence of firm size, net profit margin, debt to equity ratio, institutional ownership, and enterprise risk management on company value (price book value). This research utilized the population of energy sector companies listed on the IDX for the period 2015-2019. The sample obtained consisted of 16 energy sector companies listed on the IDX for the period 2015-2019, selected using purposive sampling technique. The data analysis method employed panel data regression analysis with Eviews 13 as the data processing tool. The results of the study indicate that simultaneously, firm size, net profit margin, debt to equity ratio, institutional ownership, and enterprise risk management significantly influence company value (price book value). Partially, net profit margin, debt to equity ratio, and institutional ownership have a positive and significant effect on company value (price book value), while firm size and enterprise risk management do not have a significant impact on company value (price book value).

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the impact of market power and capital adequacy ratio on the liquidity risk of banking companies, with bank loan and firm size as control variables. Liquidity risk is measured by LDR, which compares total bank loans to total deposits. The samples in this study consist of banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period from 2016 to 2020. A total of 40 companies were selected through purposive sampling. The analysis method employed in this study is multiple linear regression using the Ordinary Least Square approach. The results of this study indicate that the capital adequacy ratio has a positive and significant impact on liquidity risk. Market power on the other hand, have a negative and significant impact on liquidity risk

Abstract

ABSTRACT Human resources apply elements that provide support and carry out every stage in organizational functions, including in innovation efforts. Organizations need high quality human resources in order to achieve the goals that have been set. In order for innovative work behavior to be more optimal, organizations can use strong transformational leadership styles and encouragement to share knowledge. This research aims to analyze the influence of transformational leadership on innovative work behaviors by sharing knowledge as a mediation variable in one of the manufacturing companies called PT X. This study uses primary data distributed through online questionnaires on employees at PT X who are research samples, and secondary data from journals, books, and relevant data from companies. This questionnaire was developed by researchers using 5 likert scales. The number of samples used in this study was 95 respondents with the purposive sampling technique. Data analysis techniques use the SmartPLS 3.0 application to test hypotheses and influences between those variables. The results in this study show that transformational leadership has a positive influence and significant on innovative work behavior, transformational leadership has a positive influence and significant on knowledge sharing, and knowledge sharing also shows that there is a positive influence and significant on innovative work behavior. This research also shows that there is an influence of knowledge sharing as a mediation variable between transformational leadership and innovative work behavior.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the effect of perceived price, product quality, and brand image on purchasing decisions for Oriflame products in Semarang city with purchase intention as an intervening variable. The population in this study were users who had made transactions or purchased Oriflame products in the city of Semarang and the number of samples used in this study were 120 respondents. In the process of collecting data this research uses a questionnaire method. The analysis technique used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the help of the AMOS 24.0 analysis tool. The results showed that product quality had a significant effect on purchase intention, price perceptions had a significant effect on purchase intention, brand image had a significant effect on purchase intention, and purchase intention had a significant effect on purchasing decisions.
