Abstract

This study aims to determine factors that influencing the magnitude of share repurchases. The Independent variables used in this study are dividend payout ratio, market to book ratio, free cash flow, firm size and debt to equity ratio. The population of this study includes all firms registered in Indonesia Stock Exchange that conduct share repurchase program in 2008-2014. Sample choosen using purposive sampling technique with the criteria are share repurchases held by non-financial firms that paying cash dividend in the prior year of repurchase. Approximately 53 repurchases are obtained from 39 sample firms. Multiple Regression Analysis is used to examine the influence of each variable toward share repurchase. The result show that free cash flow have positive and significant effect toward share repurchase. Firm size have positive and significant effect toward share repurchase. Dividend payout ratio have positive but insignificant effect. Market to book ratio have positive but insignificant effect. Debt to equity ratio have negative but insignificant effect toward share repurchase.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of consumer dissatisfaction, price and the need to variety product of brand switching decision of bar soap. This research was conducted on consumers Lifebuoy bar soap that has been moved to another brand of soap and bar soap sample set of 100 respondents using Accidential Sampling methods. Data ware collected by distributing questionnaires. Data analysis method was perfored by multiple linear regression using SPSS software. Data that has met the test validity, test reliability, and test the assumptions of classical. Based on analysis that used, can be pulled several conclusions of be donedoubled regression processing. this watchfulness is validity up to standard,reliabilitas, with free from heteroskedastisitas, multikolinearitas and escape testnormally. from regression similarity that got, variable dependent that has value most significant that is consumer dissatisfaction. hypothesis testing by using test t demo that variable consumer dissatisfaction, price and the need for variety, variables according to significant influence displacement brand. while in test f demo significant <0,05. matter thismeans variable displacement Brand (Y), Consumer Dissatisfaction (X1), Price (X2) and Needs Finding Variations (X3) to together influential manifestly towards displacement brand (Y). while determination coefficient is got with value adjusted R Square 48,4%, mean, variable displacement brand explainable by existence variable consumer dissatisfaction, price, advertising and the need for variety, while therest 51,6% can be influenced by variable other.

Abstract

Costumer satisfaction are closely related to products or services which are sold to costumer. Besides it, costumer satisfaction can used as success measurement of company performance especially on services company because costumer used directly that services.  Costumer satisfaction on services company, especially logistic servives can be mesasured by few things, for an example service that company give to costumer, time delivery and facility. This research aims to exam that correlate service quality, on-time delivery and facility to J&T Express costumer satisfaction in Semarang.Sample for this research are random person of 100 costumers that had used J&T Express. Sampling Technique use Accidental Sampling, processed by SPSS 23th edition that use Multiple linier analysis.Result of this research show that servive quality, on-time delivery and facility has significant and positive. On-time delivery variable has a biggest effect for costumer saticfaction.

Abstract

Underpricing is a phenomenon when the price in the IPO is lower than the secondary market so that issuers can’t maximally to obtaining additional capital from go public. It is often occurs in various countries in the world. In Indonesia from 2006-2014 there are 189 companies and 153 companies or 80,9% companies experienced underpricing. Underpricing not only influenced by financial factors but also non financial factors (board structure an ownership structures).This study aimed to examine the effect of board size, board independence, ownership concentration, institutional ownership, and the underwriters of the IPO underpricing reputation.The research sample as many as 64 companies had an Initial Public Offering (IPO) in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2006-2014 and experiencing underpricing. The sampling method used in this study is proposive sampling. Technical analysis that used in this study is Ordinary Least Squares Regression (OLS), t statistical test, and classical assumption test including normality test, multicolinearity test, heterocedasticity test, and autocorrelation test.These results indicate that the number of commissioners have a negative and significant effect on underpricing, while the concentration of ownership has a positive and significant effect on underpricing. However, there was no significant effect of the independence of the commissioners, institutional ownership and reputation underwiter the level of underpricing.

Abstract

This research is aim to analyze the influence of service quality and perceived usefulness against purchase decision through consumer trust in Go-Ride services especially in Bandung. Service quality and perceived usefulness become distinctive reason for consumer in using Go-Ride as an effective means of transportation. The population used in this research is Go-Ride service user in Bandung. This research method is using a non-probability sampling technique by purposive sampling method which the samples used were 151 respondents. Data obtained from the questionnaire which are processed and analyzed using SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) through AMOS program. The results showed that Service Quality and Perceived Usefulness have positive and significant impact on Consumer Trust. Subsequently the Consumer Trust has positive and significant impact on the Purchase Decision. In addition, both of independent variables also have a positive and significant impact on the Purchase Decision Go-Ride services in Bandung.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of information asymmetry, leverage, and firm size on earnings management practices in manufacturing companies listed on the Stock Exchange. This study took populations companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) 2011-2013. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling method. The method of analysis used in this study using multiple linear regression analysis to examine the effect of information asymmetry, leverage, and firm size on earnings management practices. The variables used in this study is the asymmetry of information, leverage, and firm size as an independent variable; earnings management practices as the dependent variable. The results showed that the asymmetry of information and firm size has positive influence on earnings management practices, but leverage has no effect on earnings management practices.

Abstract

The competitiveness of mobile phone stores and phone deposit outlets in Semarang are not attractive enough to the writer’s opinion. Owners should know and understand the need of their consumers. They choose Supply Chain Management as a strategy to enhance outlets’ operational and performance. The strategy is also aimed to increase the competitiveness of the business in the market. The research is aimed at analysing the impact of independent variables such as Information Sharing, Long Term Relationship, Cooperation and Process Integration to the dependent variables of the outlets’ performance.The population of the research consists of 171 outlets. The samples used in the research are 120 outlets owners in Semarang. Doubled linear analysis is used on this research. The writer used SPSS 16 for Windows as data processor tool.The result of the research explains that Information Sharing positively giving no significance toward outlets’ performance. In other hand, Long Term Relationship gives positive impact and significant to the outlets’ performance. The better Long Term Relationship between a mobile phone outlet and a distributor will improve the performance of the outlets. However, Cooperation positively giving no significance toward outlets’ performance. The better Integration Process between a mobile phone outlet and a distributor will help increasing the outlets’ performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the variables that affect buying interest in the face powder products Viva Cosmetics. This is based on the existence of problems on facial powder products Viva Cosmetics that decrease Brand Value, decrease Brand Share, TOM Brand and TOM Brand decline. This research uses quality factor of advertising message, product quality, brand awareness, brand image, brand attitude. These variables are considered to contribute substantially in the interest of buying consumers.               The population in this study is respondents who has interest to buy face powder Viva Cosmetics in Semarang City. The sampling technique was done by accidental sampling. With the number of samples 150 respondents. This study has six hypotheses. The analysis tool used in this research is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM).            The result of this research shows that the quality of advertising message have a positive effect on brand image, product quality have positive effect to brand image, brand awareness have positive effect to brand attitude, brand image have positive effect on brand attitude, brand image have positive effect on buying interest, brand attitude influence positive towards buying interest. Brand image factor is the most influential variable on buying interest.Keywords: brand ambassador, sales promotion, word of mouth, brand image, purchase decision

Abstract

This study is to investigate why consumers repuchase the products of House of Moo Cafe. This research analyzes and provides empirical evidence on whether product quality and the brand image of impact on brand attitude in improving brand loyalty . Sample of this research are house of moo consumers with 250 people by using non probability sampling techniques. Data analysis methods used are quantitative analysis, reability and validity, classic test assumptions, hypothesis test , coefficient determinan, linear regression analysis as well as test sobel. The result showed that product quality and brand image have a positive towards to brand attitude and product quality, brand image and brand attitude have a positive towards to brand loyalty. The result of sobel test showed brand attitude that mediates between being variable product quality and brand loyalty. Brand attitude that mediate between brand image to brand loyalty.

Abstract

Working capital is a part of resources that can have a impact on company’s profitability. The research is aimed at determining the effect of policy of working capital on profitability in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX). The variables consists of cash conversion cycle (CCC), average collection period in days (ACPID), inventory turnover in days (ITID), average payment period in days (APPID), profitability (ROA).The population of this research consists of 144 manufacturing companies listed on the IDX in years 2013-2016. This research used secondary data and used purposive sampling method in determining the sample. The total sample in this study are 62 companies. Multiple regression is used as the analysis technique in this research.The result of this research that cash conversion cycle (CCC), average collection period in days (ACPID), inventory turnover in days (ITID) have negative significant effect with profitability, moreover average payment period in days (APPID) found has no significant effect on profitability. The coefficient determinant R2 is 0,32 which means 32% ROA variant explained by independent variables, whereas 62% explained by another variables which is not followed.
