Abstract

The service industry is a rapidly growing industry in Semarang. One of which is hospitality services, hospitality businesses spur competition in every party of hotel management to always try to find a breakthrough solution so that the business continues to grow and manage human resources appropriately. This study aims to describe how the variables influence the organizational culture and motivation on employee performance in Hotel Plaza Semarang as well as to determine which variables are the dominant influence of the two variables of organizational culture and motivation on employee performance in Hotel Plaza Semarang. The data in this study were collected through a questionnaire distributed to 50 employees at the Hotel Plaza Semarang. The data collected by using questionnaires which the sampling technique issimple random sampling. Analytical method used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis, using SPSS program. These results indicate that the organizational culture in a positive and significant effect on employee performance and motivation in a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Organizational culture and the motivation variable regression coefficient is positive (+) indicates a unidirectional relationship. Empirical finding indicated that to increase employee performance in Hotel Plaza Semarang, the management should pay more attention to organizational culture factors and motivation factors, because those factors proved influence on employee performance.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine the impact of corporate environmental performance toward corporate financial performance. Corporate environmental performance is measured by the score of PROPER published by the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Indonesia, and corporate financial performance is measured using ROA and Tobin’s q. The population in this study is all go public companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) and listed on PROPER appraisal in 2008 – 2014. The sampling method used in this study is purposive sampling. By doing sampling and processing data, the final amounts of the sample are 18 firms. This study uses multivariate regression analysis technique to examine the hypotheses. The result shows that improving corporate Environmental Performance significantly influence corporate Financial Performance.

Abstract

This research aims to find the infulence of brand image and corporate branding on brand equity and its impact on customer loyalty. Furthermore, it aims to find out the role of brand equity in mediating on customer loyalty.This research was conducted on Telkomsel operator customers in Semarang City have been using Telkomsel for minimum one year and had used other celluler operators. Sampling method  in  this  research  is  non-probability  sampling  with  purposive  sampling  technique.  The number   of   samples   collected   as   many   as   100  respondents   through  the   distribution  of questionnaires. Analysis method used here is multiple regression analysis which includes validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, multiple linear regression tests, f-test, determination test, hypothesis test (t statistic test), and Sobel test.The  results  showed  that  the  variables  of  brand  image  and  corporate  branding  in  a significantly and positively impact on brand equity. Variable corporate branding has a significant and positive impact on customer loyalty. But the brand image variable has no effect on customer loyalty. Meanwhile brand equity as an intervening variable has a positive and significant impact on customer loyalty.

Abstract

In 2014 SAKINAH magazine produced by PT. Temprina Media Graphic damage to exceed the standard limit of the company. Standards set by the company was 0.25%. This study aimed to analyze the factors that cause damage to the product in the process of printing products at PT. Temprina Media Graphic Semarang. The data used are primary and secondary data. Samples were examined by 100 respondents. The number of variables examined in this study were 20 variables. The data were then analyzed using factor analysis in SPSS 16.0 for Windows.            The results showed that of the 20 variables had been reduced and no variables excluded from the model because it has met the criteria MSA> 0.5. From the test results obtained by factor analysis of 20 variables that persist in the model and breaks into 6 factors, are all factors that influence the breakdown products in product printing processes. These factors are factors Continuity Engines Work with eigenvalues 6446 values, factors Readiness Control Method / System Working with eigenvalues values 1831, Readiness Materials and Work Order with eigen value 1,621 values, process control factors with eigenvalues 1266 values, factors Work Discipline with eigenvalues values 1169, and Supervisor Support factors with eigenvalues 1,011 values. 6th factor is obtained based on the value of eigen values greater than one. Dominating factor is the factor that has a Sustainability Working Machines values eigenvalues of 6446 with a percentage of 32 230% variance.            Factors such form, then performed the analysis using method Fishbone Diagram to determine the causal factors in the chart, so that the company can take preventive and corrective measures to reduce the level of damage and improve product quality.

Abstract

Financial inclusion becomes international interest and national priority. The more inclusive financial access, the more opportunity people have to improve their economy. Financial inclusion has become an alternative way to grow economy of society. Credit is one of financial services which can improve people’s economy, specifically for SME in capital credit. This research examines effects from factors such as people income, education level, interest rate, demographic and geographic penetration of banking to SME credit. Samples selected in this research by total sampling method. Samples used are 35 cities and regencies at Central Java in 2011-2015. Data analysis using data panel regression analysis with Fixed Effect Model and Generalized Least Square. This research shows that people income has insignificant positive effect to SME credit, education level has significant negative effect, intereset rate has insignificant negative effect, demographic penetration of banking has insignificant positive effect and geographic penetration of banking has significant positive effect.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how big the influence price perception, product quality, and service quality of the consumer satisfaction on Salwa  House. And this research also aims toanalyze the most dominant factors that influence on consumer satisfaction of Salwa House.The population used in this study is consumers of Salwa House. The sample in this study are 100 respondents and the technique used is non-probability sampling technique with the approach of purposive sampling.From the analysis result, the indicators in this study are valid and reliables. The most dominant factor that influence on consumer satisfaction are service quality, then the product quality, and the last is price perception. Then though the F Test can be seen that the independent variables feasible to test the dependent variable. The result of Adjusted R Square is 0,640, it means that independent variable can explain about 64% of dependent variable

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of variable of profitability (ROA), liquidity (CR), sales growth and firm size on capital structure with tangibility asset and firm age as control variable.The population in this study were retail trade sub-sector companies that were listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange in 2013 – 2017. The sample technique used was purposive sampling. So that a sample of 12 companies was obtained, thus obtained 60 research data. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression using the classical assumption test and regression analysis with a significance level of 5%.Based on the results of research that simultaneously uses the F test variable profitability, liquidity, sales growth, firm size, tangibility asset and firm age as control variable significantly influence the capital structure. The result of partial testing using the T test show that profitability, liquidity, firm size, tangibility asset and firm age have a negative and significant effect on capital structure. While sales growth has a positive and insignificant effect on capital structure and the result of control variables there are tangibility asset and firm age are -3,223 with the significantcy 0,001 and -3,915 with the significantcy 0,003 so tangibility asset and firm age has a negative and significant effect on DER. Determination of coefficient R2 of 0,471 shows that 47,1% of the variation of the DER is explained by the independent variables in the study while the remaining 52,9% is explained by other variables outside the research.

Abstract

The development of the motor industry is growing rapidly in Indonesia, where the demand of motorcycle is increasing every year. It also led the  competition between motorcycle manufacturer in Indonesia. One sector that is experiencing tough competition is  matic motorcycle, in this regard discuss Mio matic product. This study examines how perception influences the price, promotion and quality of product on purchasing decisions Mio motorcycle. The samples are people who have bought Mio matic motorcycle in Yamaha Mataram Sakti Semarang. The results showed that the factor of price and product quality has positive influence on purchase decisions. But the factor of promotion is not made a positive influence on the purchase decision.

Abstract

Indonesia is a very potential market for developing e-commerce business. Elevenia.co.id is one of the newcomer e-commerce sites in Indonesia, but based on a survey conducted by similarweb.com shows in the last six months the number of visitors elevenia.co.id site continues to experience a drastic decline, this indicates the low interest in buying to the site elevenia.co.id. This study aimed to analyze the effect of quality information and quality of service on the website to customer satisfaction in the increasing repurchase intention on Elevenia.co.id site. Variables used in this research is the quality of information and service quality as an independent variable, customer satisfaction as mediating variables and repurchase intention as the dependent variable.The sample used in this study were 147 students at the University of Diponegoro who did purchased transaction on Elevenia.co.id. Data collection method used is to questionnaires distributed by non-probability sampling technique with the kind of purposive sampling. The analytical method used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) were analyzed using analysis tools with AMOS 20.0 Maximum Likelihood technique.The results of SEM analysis carried out, indicate that the quality of information has a positive and significant impact on customer satisfaction and repurchase intention, meanwhile quality of service has a positive and significant impact on consumer satisfaction but has no direct influence on repurchase intention and consumer satisfaction have a positive influence and significantly to repurchase intention. Thus, to increase repurchase intention in Elevenia.co.id sites, companies must improve consumers satisfaction by providing quality information and quality of service as possible on the website

Abstract

This study aims to explain the impact of service quality and product quality to customer loyalty through customer satisfaction and customer value to customer loyalty at Stove Syndicate Semarang.               This study uses a type of sampling in the form of non-probability sampling due to the complete population data is unknown, while the sampling method used in this research is purposive sampling , the sampling technique with particular consideration. The collection of data obtained from 150 customers Stove Syndicate Semarang by questionnaire consisting of closed questions with Likert scale 5. Data analysis techniques and interpretation are used to analyze the data according to the model developed in this study is a SEM (Structural Equation Modeling), which operated via AMOS ver 21.0.            The results showed that customer satisfaction may mediate the relationship between quality of service and quality of product to customer loyalty shown by the positive and significant influence between variables in this study , as well as customer value on customer loyalty which also showed a positive influence and significant.
