Abstract

In the development of business area, recently has peeped out a symptom, where companies supplied many variances of product at the same industry. The competitiveness of products between producers might lead to customer’s brand switching. One of the way to maintain the current customers is by improving the customer’s satisfaction. At this time there are many cheaper products but having competitive design and facilities. Promotion through advertisement or other media by using celebrity endorser can also become fascination point to influence the customers in brand switching, through image, their appearance, words, etc. The purpose of this study to analyze the effect of low levels of customer satisfaction, pricing, and celebrity endorser of the brand switching decisionsThe method of data collection used a questionnaire with the sampling technique used purposive sampling technique. The method of analysis used in this study were multiple linear regression analysis, using SPSS program. The analysis showed low levels of consumer satisfaction has a positive effect on brand switching decision. The price of making a positive influence on brand switching. Celebrity endorser positive effect on brand switching. These results indicate that the company should be able to create products consumers desire compliance, lower prices than competitors, and the selection of right brand ambassador because of the low levels of customer satisfaction, pricing and celebrity endorser brand shown to affect migration decisions.

Abstract

This study was aimed to test the effect of debt to firm profitability. Dependent variable is firm profitability proxy by return on asset (ROA), independent variable is debt consist of short-term debt (STD), long-term debt (LTD) and debt to equity ratio (DER). While control variables consist of growth and liquidity. The population of this study is real estate and property companies listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange from 2012-2016. Sampling method used in this study is purposive sampling. Data from 36 companies was taken as study samples. The method of this study is using multiple regression model with signification at 5%.The result of this study showed that short-term debt, long-term debt, and debt to equity ratio have a negative significant effect to firm profitability (ROA). While as control variables, growth and liquidity found has a positive significant effect to firm profitability (ROA). Adjusted R square obtained from this study is 0.257. This indicates that 25,7% of the dependent variable which is firm profitability (ROA) can be explained by the three independent variables are short-term debt (STD), long-tem debt (LTD), debt to equity ratio (DER) and two control variables are growth and liquidity, while the remaining 74,3% is explained by the others variable than this model.

Abstract

The establishment of interesting attractions is one way that can be done to increase the number of visitors or tourists with attention to the quality of the services provided such as building, cleaning, and security. This research was conducted that analyze whether service quality and customer satisfaction have an influence on visit intention the tourists go to the Widuri beach.In this study, the sample size used was 143 respondents. Respondents used is that ever visited the Widuri beach more than once. Data analysis using SEM (Structural Equation Modeling). The analysis results the environment and services have significant and positive effect on customer satisfaction, accessibility have negative effect on customer satisfaction, and customer satisfaction have significant and positive effect on the visit intention.

Abstract

The problem that occurs is a decrease in the number of subscribers of the XL mobile telecommunication prepaid service. It is characterized by the number of subscribers of XL prepaid service are decrese from 60.172 to 42.100 in two years. And it also caracterized by the number of the other prepaid service providers are increased each year. This study is aimed to analyze the influence of brand awareness, price, and promotions to the customer buying decision in Diponegoro University Students. The population used in this study are all the students in Diponegoro University who has an experience with the XL prepaid service product with minimum six months use. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The samples that taken for this  study  is  125  respondents.  The  methods  of  data  collection  in  this  study  is  by  using questionnaires that the author gave directly to the respondents. Based on this research, brand awareness, price, and promotion has a positive influence to costumer buying decision for the XL prepaid telecommunication service in the students of Diponegoro University. The variable   that used in this research that has biggest influence to the XL postpaid product buying decision is promotion  and the  variable  that  has smallest  influence  to  the  XL postpaid product  is  brand awareness.

Abstract

The research aims to examine and analyze the influence of motivation and work discipline toward performance of employee in PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk. Witel Pekalongan. This research was  a sample of 56 of the 125 employees of PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk. Witel Pekalongan. Samples was taken by Convenience sampling. The analysis used is multiple regression. By using signification limits about 0,05.Based on data calculation result of cost analysis used, obtained regression equality of :  Y         = 0,491X1 + 0,194X2             Analysis result demonstrates that motivation have a positive and significant influence between motivation to employee performance. By significant value about 0,02 (less than 0,05). Therefore, hypothesis which stated that motivation have influence to employee’s work could be accepted. There was no significant influence between work discipline to employee performance, by significant value 0.199 (greater than 0.05). Simultaneously both motivation and work dicipline have positive and significant influence to employee’s performance by f value about 18,729 (more than 0.05), therefore obtained signification value 0,000.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the higher rate of growth of SMEs among the students especially in culinary field. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of price perception, the attractiveness of the product, and responsiveness of employees on customer satisfaction and the implications for loyalty interest of Takoyaki 48.The population in this research is the consumers of Takoyaki 48 Semarang. The sample is taken from 130 respondents. The result showed that three of the independent variables directly influencing customer satisfaction, but only one of those which had directly influencing to customer loyalty, that was price perception. Consistent with the previous studies, customer satisfaction has positive relation and significantly mediates the effect of independents variables to engage customer loyalty.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the effect of job satisfaction, job involvement that has been moderates by collectivism culture to the nurses in RSUD Kota Semarang. By using simple random sampling method, 87 persons are selected as the respondent. Analysis method which used in this research are validity and reliability test,classical assumptions test, and moderating regression analysis and hyphothesis testing.Analysis result demonstrates that job satisfaction and job involvement have positive and significant effect to professional commitment. Furthermore, collectivism culture moderates job satisfaction to professional commitment and moderates job involvement to professional commitment. The result of the analysis could be known that 67,1 percent variation of professional commitment could be explained by independent variable and moderating variable that has been examined, while 32,9 percent by the others variables outside this research.

Abstract

The economic system of capitalism, socialism, or a combination of the two has proved a failure in creating the world's wealthy. The international community now has found another economic system as a solution that Islamic economic system. Perfection Islamic economic system both in terms of theory and practice has been increasingly recognized by the people of Moslem but also non-Islamic people. Therefore, it is crucial to study Islamic economics intensively because someone can know if it is important or not already know. The importance of studying Islamic economics should be well known by members KSEI FEB UNDIP so they must have a great motivation in studying Islamic economics. But from the initial observation shows that most members KSEI FEB UNDIP are less motivated to study intensively Islamic economics. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of intrinsic factors and extrinsic motivation of Islamic economics KSEI member of FEB UNDIP. This study uses qualitative data collection conducted by the method of triangulation. The informants of this study is the HEI's senior who is a tutor of a weekly small discussion. The results of this study states that learning is intrinsically motivating factors consist of factors ideals, abilities, and conditions of each KSEI’s member both phisical and psychological (perceptions, interests, attitudes, intelligence). Psychological factor that comes from religious motives is a major influential factor in the intrinsic motivation to learn. While learning to extrinsic factors consist of social environmental factors (inside and outside KSEI), non-social environment (natural and instrumental) as well as the teachers in the learning effort. Mandate as an HEI’s senior and as a board of KSEI has been a major factor influencing extrinsic in motivation adding to the study of Islamic economic.

Abstract

The new literature abaout financial slack is still rarely. Financial Slack is a phenomenon that occurs where the availability of corporate finance exceeds their needs which are then used to help finance the organization The purpose of this reseach is to determine the relation between financial slack with financial performance on manufacturing companies in Indonesian Stock Exchange. Company performance as dependent variable, while independent variables are HDFS (high discretionary financial slack), LDFS (low discretionary financial slack), AFR (availability for financial resources), DFR (demand for financial resources), and TFS (transitory financial slack).The sample in this research is manufacturing companies in Indonesian Stock Exchange during period 2014-2016. The sampling method in this research is purpose sampling. This research is based on organizational and behavioral theory and analyzed using multiple regression.The result shows that all the independent variables that represent financial slack have significant and positif relation with performance, so all variables accepted, which means the financial slack can increase the performance on the manufacturing companies. We will suggest that in future research can to follow the variable because it is a good measure of financial slack indicator that related with performance.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of competitive pricing to the customer's satisfaction on products and services salon car autowax semarang, to analyze the effect of the facility to the customer's satisfaction on products and services salon car autowax semarang, to analyze the impact of service quality to customer satisfaction on the products and services of the salon car autowax semarang.The samples used were 100 respondents who are consumers in the salon car autowax semarang. Tool data collection using questionnaires. The analysis technique used regression analysis to test the validity and reliability.
