Abstract

This study using Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Liquid Assets to Total Assets (LTA), market share of financing, and Net Interest Margin (NIM) as the independent variable and profitability ratio measured by ROA as the dependent variable. The sample in this study was obtained from a purposive sampling method and obtained five Islamic Banks that qualify as research sample is BCA Syariah, BRI Syariah, Bank Syariah Mandiri, Bank Mega Syariah and Bank Muamalat Indonesia in 2010-2014. This study using secondary data obtained from semi-annual financial statements that can be downloaded from the official website of each bank and the official website of Bank Indoneisa. The analytical method used in this study is Multiple Linear Regression Analysis with a significance level of 5%. The result showed that simultaneously CAR, LTA, market share of financing and NIM has significant effect on ROA of Islamic banks. Partially, variable CAR has negative significant effect, while the LTA, market share of financing and NIM has positive and significant effect on ROA of Islamic banks. Results of regression estimation showed the predictive ability of the model 52.2%, while 47.8% were influenced by other factors outside the model that has not been covered in this research.

Abstract

The sales volume of Oriflame Semarang fluctuated in 2016 and 2017. The increase and decrease is an indication that the buyer has not been loyal to Oriflame products. The purpose of this study to analyze the effects arising from brand image, product quality, price fairness and customer satisfaction on customer loyalty from Oriflame Semarang users. The variables used in this study is brand image, product quality and price fairness as an independent variable, customer satisfaction as an intervening variable and customer loyalty as an dependent variable.The samples in this study were 180 respondents us purposive sampling method. This study uses analytical techniques of Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) with AMOS 24.0 as the analysis instrument. The  result  show  that  brand  image  has  not  positive  and  significant  effect  on customer satisfaction, product quality has positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, price fairness has positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction and customer satisfaction has positive and significant effect on customer loyalty.

Abstract

Each company must be focuses on achieving its obejctive, to do that companies have to be flexible with the rapidly changing environment in order to survive in the market competition. The existence of human resources quality and competence has become a necessity for the company to have a better performance. According to some views,  motivation, compensation, and organizational culture are believed to affect the performance of a company. However, in some studies, showed different results. Seeing the difference between the views and research results, as well as the gap between one research to other research, the authors intend to examine how far the relationship between motivation, organizational culture, and compensation affects the performance of employees.The data in this study were collected through questionnaires that implemented to 55 permanent lemployees of PT Temprina Media Grafika  Semarang. The techniques of data analysis in this research includes the test of reliability, validity, classical assumptions, multiple regression, and Sobel test to examine the mediation effect.These results indicate that organizational culture have positive and significant effect on the motivation and performance, compensation have significant and positive effect on the motivation and performance, and motivation have positive and significant impact on performance. Additionally, motivation is proven as mediator relationship between organizational culture and compensation to performance.

Abstract

This study aimed to see the impact of training and working environment to the employee loyalty regarding job satisfaction as an intervening variable to the employee of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daerah Operasional 4 Semarang. This study used software smartPLS 2.0.m3 version (Partial Least Square) as the methodology in data analysis. The sample of this study are employee of PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daerah Operasional 4 Semarang with 63 respondents. While data was collected through questioner, surveys, interview and literature review. The result of this study indicates: 1) training has positive and significant impact to the job satisfaction, 2) working environment has positive and significant impact to the job satisfaction, 3) job satisfaction has positive and significant impact to the employee loyalty, 4) training has positive and significant impact to the employee loyalty, 5) working environment has positive and significant impact to the employee loyalty, 6) training has positive and significant impact to the employee loyalty through job satisfaction, 7) working environment has positive and significant impact to the employee loyalty through job satisfaction.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the effects of Institutional Ownership, Free Cash Flow, and Investment Opportunity Set toward Firm Value through Debt Policy as Intervening variable. Independent Variables in this research are Institutinal Ownership, Free Cash Flow, and Investment Opportunity Set. Intervening Variable is Debt Policy and dependent variable is Firm Value.The sample determinity method is Purpose Sampling method. Samples in this research are non financial companies in Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) period of 2008-2011 which amounts to 103 companies. The analysis technique in this research is Structural Equation Model.Based on Structural Equation Model test, the models was filled the goodness of fit criteria. According to result, institutional ownership has a positive and significant effect on firm value, so that hypothesis 1 is accepted. Institutional ownership has a negative and significant effect on debt policy,so that hypothesis 2 is accepted. Free cash flow has apositive and significant impact on debt policy, so that hypothesis 3 is accepted. Investment opportunity set has a negative and significant impact on debt policy, so that hypothesis 4 is accepted. Investment opportunity set has a positive and significant effect to firm value, so that hypothesis 5 is accepted. Debt policy has a negative and significant effect to firm value, so that hypothesis 6 is accepted. Direct effect of Institutional ownership (X1) to firm value (Y) is   0.175 and indirect effect institutional ownership (X1) effect to value of the company (Y) through the debt policy (X4) is 0.037 , direct effect is higher than indirect effect so that hypothesis 7 is rejected. Direct effect of Investment opportunity set (X3) to firm value (Y) is 0.153, and indirect effect Investment opportunity set (X3) to firm value (Y) through debt policy (X4) is 0.0674. Direct effect is higher than indirect effect so that hypothesis 8 was rejected

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of quality of work life, work motivation, and job satisfaction on the performance of employees at PT. Djarum Kudus. The number of samples used in this study were 50 respodents.Data collected through the distribution of questionnaires used the sensus sampling. Measurement in the questionnaires using a Likert Scale. The method used in this study uses quantitative methods while the data analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis and also performs validity test, rebility test, classic assumption test, coefficient of determination test, F test and t test.Based on the result of multiple linear regression test, the result show that quality of work life has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Job satisfaction has positive and not significant effect on employee performance. This can be seen from the result of the R square value of 0,874, which means the employee performance can be explained by the three independent variables of 87,4%, while the remaining 12,6% is explained by other causes outside the study.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effects arising from the attractiveness of product design, attractiveness of promotion, and perceived quality on brand image and its influence on  purchase intention from Honda Beat Pop motorcycle. The variables used in this study are attractiveness of design product, attractiveness of promotion, and perceived quality as an independent variable, then the brand image as an intervening variable and purchase intention as the dependent variable.            This research method using a technique of sampling purposive with sample as many as 150 prospecting customer of Honda who visit to Dealer Honda Nusantara Sakti Purwokerto. Analysis method in this study used quantitive and qualitative analysis use Structural Equation Model (SEM) of the AMOS 20.0. The data is primary and uses a questionnaire with open and closed questions.             The result of this research prove 3 hypothesis accepted and 3 hypothesis rejected. The 3 hypothesis accepted are show attractiveness of promotion positively affect to brand image, perceived quality positively affect to brand image, and perceived quality positively affect to purchase intention and 3 hypothesis rejected is show attractiveness of design product not significant but positively affected to brand image, attractiveness of design product not significant but positively affected to purchase intention, and brand image not significant but positively affected to purchase intention.

Abstract

Traveloka is an online site that provides flight reservation services and hotel reservations. However, in 2016 Traveloka for hotel room bookings decreased the number of purchases. This study aims to determine the influence that affect customer satisfaction and its impact on repurchase intention.This study uses 7 variables, which is service quality, brand image, advertisement, price perception, customer satisfaction, trust and interest in repurchase intention. Analysis technique used in this research is Partial Least Square (PLS) 2.0 program.The research results of this study indicate that there are two factors that affect customer satisfaction. First, by providing good service quality. However, the most influential process of repurchase interest is the quality of service that affects the brand image as one of the determinants of success in order to repurchase intention.

Abstract

This Research aims to analyze the influence of bank ownership, ownership concentration, operating cost to operating income ratio (BOPO), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), bank size, and Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) to credit risk that measured by NPL. Case Study on conventional commercial banks in Indonesia Stock Exchange in period 2009-2013.Research population used is conventional commercial banks in Indonesia in period 2009-2013. Taken samples of the all-purpose 24 banks by using purposive sampling method. The data used in this study were obtained from the Banking Annual Report 2009-2013. Analysis technique used is Ordinary Least Square Regression (OLS), statistical t-test and classic assumption test that includes a test of normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroskedastisitas test, autocorrelation test.The result  shows that bank ownership has significant positive association with NPL, concentration ownership has insignificant negative association with NPL, and Loan to Deposit Ratio has insignificant positive association with NPL. Operating cost to operating income ratio, bank size, and Capital Adequacy Ratio have significant negative association with NPL. The results of regression estimation show the ability of model prediction is 21,6% while the remaining 78,4% influenced by other factors outside the model.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the diferentiation product, product quality, service quality and consumer attitudes toward decision-making KPRib Sharia and analyze the most dominant factor in influencing the decision-making KPRib Sharia.This research was conducted at Bank OCBC NISP Syariah Branch Semarang. Methods of data collection in this study is by questionnaires filled out by respondents are customers of Bank OCBC NISP Syariah Branch of Semarang who had conducted an KPRib, samples were taken of 100 respondents. The sampling technique in this research is non probability sampling with purposive sampling method.Results of regression analysis showed that the variables of diferentiation product,, product quality, service quality and consumer attitudes positive influence on the decision-making KPRib Bank OCBC NISP Syariah.
