Abstract

The increase in stock prices that are too high that influence the demand for or purchases of shares decreases, which in it make the share price does not fluctuate. For it does not happen then the company take action with the aim of lowering the price of shares on the stock price range of interest to prospective investors and the stock price can be reached by performing the split shares (stock split). Research on stock splits often enough, but give different results, it is necessary to do further research. The study was conducted on 31 companies that are listed on the Stock Exchange and they do stock split in the year  2007-2011. This study uses statistical analysis test two different test average with a 10-day observation period is t = -5 (5 days before stock split) and t = 5 (5 days after stock split ). The method of determination of sample using purposive sampling Base on the test results of one sample t test showed that the market reacts quickly seen from abnormal return with a significance level of 0.003 on the first day after the stock split and a significance level of 0.001 for the trading volume activity. While based on different test results showed no difference in abnormal return before and after the stock split with a significant level of 0.582, but showed differences in the trading volume activity with a significant level of 0.027.

Abstract

Employee performance is influenced by the various personal traits of each individual. In a competitive and globalized development, the company needs high-performing employees. People with high levels of performance are referred to as productive people, and conversely people who do not reach the standard level are said to be unproductive or low performing. Many factors can affect employee performance, such as compensation and job satisfaction. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of compensation on employee performance with job satisfaction as intervening.Population used is employees of production CV. Manfaat, Jl. Ambarawa-Magelang KM 3, Gondoriyo, Jambu which amounted to 203 employees. Samples taken 67 employees. The type of data used in the primary data. Methods of data collection questionnaire. Analyti cal technique used was path analysis, previously tested by instrument test and classical assumption test.The research result showed that: Compensation proved to have effect positive and significant on job satisfaction. Job satisfaction proved to have effect positive and significant on employee performance. Compensation proved to have effect positive and significant on employee performance. Compensation proved to have effect on employee performance with job satisfaction as intervening variable.

Abstract

This study aimed to analalyze the influence of labor discipline and compensation system on employee performance of Badan Pelaksana Teknis Bina Marga Wilayah Semarang. There are 2 independent variables in this study : labor discipline and compensation system on employee performance. This study uses census method with 50 respondents. The analytical method used in this study is multiple linear regression. Based on statistical data  analysis, indicators in this study are valid and reliable. In the classical assumption test, regression models multicoloniarity trouble-free, does not occur heteroscedasticity, and normal distribution. The result of this study showed that labor dicipline variable has positive and significant effect on employee performance, and compensation system variable has   positive and significant on employee performance. Therefore, this study is expected to bring benefits to the “Balai Pelaksana Teknis Bina Marga Wilayah Semarang”, the employess, and the government as reference material to determine issues relating to the performance of “Pegawai Negeri Sipil” until later to do a policy to solve  these problems.

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether price, product quality and brand image influence the purchase decisions in UD. Ikan Mas. This research is motivated by a decrease in the number of consumer and selling intensity in UD. Ikan Mas.The populations used in this research was a UD. Ikan Mas Consumer. The collection of data by using a questionnaires with a number of samples 100 respondents who buyed product in UD. Ikan Mas. This research method, using the technique of non-random sampling with purposive sampling method. Data obtained from questionnaires, then processed and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis through the SPSS 23 software.Based on the result of the research, it was found the regression equation as follows:Y = 0,384 X1 + 0,238 X2 + 0,312 X3The result of this research shows that all independent variables are the price, product quality and brand image has a positive effect on the dependent variable that is the purchase decision by using T test. Then through F test shows that the three independent variables are proper to examine the dependent variable. Adjusted R Square of 0,753 shows that the independent variables can explain 75,3% the dependent variable that is purchase decision, while the remaining 24,7% is explained by other variables outside of variable that used in this research.

Abstract

This research background by the complaints from managers and employees CV. Fan Jaya Logam. In the perceived grievances, there are problems associated with corporate leaders, working conditions, compensation and employee performance. By looking at existing problems, this research is directed to investigate and analyze the influence of leadership, work environment, and motivation on employee performance CV. Fan Jaya Logam.In this study, researchers used census method, with a total respondents of 80 person. To facilitate troubleshooting, research was conducted by using multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS 17.0.The results of this study are : leadership has a positive influence on the performance of the employee, the work environment has a positive effect on employee performance, compensation has a positive influence on employee performance. Suggestions for further research, you should consider other variables that are still closely related to the variables in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the simultaneous relationship between dividend policy and leverage policy along the factors influence them. Dividend policy is measured by dividend payout ratio, while leverage policy is measured by debt ratio. The factors influencing these two policies are profitability, size, asset structure, and growth. This study uses secondary data from Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), within companies that always listed on LQ45 Index during 2009 – 2014 are used as sample. Two stage least square (2SLS) is used as regression method. The result shows that both of two policies have simultaneous relation and give positive effect. Profitability gives positive effect, while size gives insignificant effect to dividend policy. Profitability and growth give negative effect, while asset structure gives insignificant effect to leverage policy.

Abstract

Amyl is an important part of PKPU Cabang Semarang as Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs).The role of PKPU to collect dan distribute zakat is not easy, and it takes a professional amyl. Therefore, it is necessary to know about amyl motives. The aim of this research is for identify the intrinsic motivation that influences motivation of PKPU Officials as an amyl. The other purposes of this research also to know whether there are Islamic and prosocial motivation on the PKPU cabang Semarang officials self. This research uses qualitative method where the process of collecting data is conducted with interview, so it can discovers more about amyl PKPU Cabang Semarang profession. The object in this research is PKPU officials who have passed minimum two years working period. The result of this research explain that work motivation of PKPU official influenced by work values, individual attitudes, personal desires and expectations, fatigue and work boredom and individual ability. In this research also found that there are form of Islamic and prosocial motivation on the PKPU officials

Abstract

Banking is a business entity that has the task of rasing funds from public in the form of credits and/or others forms in order to improve the lives of many people. Private banks, especially Foreign Exchange and Non-Foreign Exchange in Indonesia are susceptible to financial distress, one of which is reflected in the decreasing level of net income. This study aims to find out the influence of CAMEL ratio proxied by Capital Adequacy Ratio, Non Performing Loan, Operational Cost for Operating Income, Return on Asset, and Loan to Deposit Ratio on Foreign Exchange Banks and Non-Foreign Exchange Banks against financial distress.The sample used in this research comes from Foreign Exchange Banks and Non-Foreign Exchange Banks listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2012 to 2016, which is then selected by using purposive sampling technique. The number of samples obtained is 55 samples with 5 years time of observation. The samples obtained were processed using logistic regression model, after the previous goodness of fit test was done to test the feasibility of the data.The results of this study indicate Non Performing Loan and Return on Asset have an influence on the financial distress of Foreign Exchange and Non-Foreign Exchange Banking. Meanwhile, Capital Adequacy Ratio, Operational Cost for Operating Income and Loan to Deposit Ratio have no influence on the financial distress of Foreign Exchange and Non-Foreign Exchange Banking. In this test we get goodness of fit test result of 57,5% for Nagelkerke’s R Square test and 93,1% for Hosmer test and Lameshow’s goodness fit model.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the incentives and non-physical work environment affected the motivation of employees and analyze its impact on the performance of employees in BRI Branch Office Pattimura. This research population refers to the employees of BRI Branch Office Pattimura. Samples taken by are 110 respondents using Non-Probability Sampling technique where not all members of the population in the same position have the opportunity to be selected into the sample.The results of this study indicate that non-physical work environment has a significant possitive influence on the motivation, incentives has a negative influence on the motivation and performance of employees, non-physical work environment and motivation have no significant positive effect on employee performance. The highest influential variable on work motivation and employee performance was non-physical work environment. This equation model has Chi-square value of 39.855 with the probability value above than the recommendation 0.05, and the value was 0,068.

Abstract

The study about Just in time in association with firm performance has applied in many researches. But, the research that associate Just in time with operating performance and firm performance in service firms was relative rare. The study was aimed to analyze how Just in time Implementation by bank especially in credit process could affect to operating performance and firm performance. Sample of the research is credit analyst in several Cash Office of Bank BRI in Tembalang Semarang. The sample size collected is 42 officers. Instrument of questionnaire is used to collect the data of the research. Multiple regression analysis is applied to prove the hypotheses. Result of the analysis shows that Just in time has positive effect on operating performance. Operating performance also has positive effect on firm performance, and Just in time has positive effect on firm performance.
