Abstract

There has been a lot of research that discusses the value of the company, but still found research gap or differences in results from studies that have been done before. Inequality from the results of previous studies encourages further testing to determine the consistency of findings on firm value. Firm value is a description of the current value of expected earnings in the future and as an indicator for the market to assess a company as a whole. The higher of firm value is the more willing investors in paying a piece of stock. This study aims to examine the effect of net profit margin, return on assets, total asset turnover, earnings per share, and debt to equity ratio to firm value represented by price to book value.The sample used in this study were 57 manufacturing companies listed on BEI during period 2010-2016. The analyticals method used in this research is multiple linear regression with classical assumption test such as autocorrelation test, heteroscedasticity test, multicolinearity test, and determination coefficient test, F statistic test, and t statistic test.The results of this study show that net profit margin, return on assets, and debt to equity ratio have a positive and significant effect on price to book value, while total asset turnover and earnings per share have no effect on price to book value.

Abstract

The company has the capital resources, one of which employees. The existence of the employees is very important to the survival of a company. Therefore, a company's success is measured by the performance of employees. High employee performance makes the success of the company is also getting higher. Many steps can be done in improving the performance of employees. One of them is to do self-actualization and creating job satisfaction of employees. With the creation of self-actualization and job satisfaction, can increase Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) among employees, which then affects their performance. The aim of this study is to describe and analyze the influence of self-actualization and job satisfaction on employee performance with Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) as an intervening variable.This research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to a sample of 70 permanent employees of PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daop IV Semarang using random sampling techniques, with the draw. Data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. Mechanical testing data used this study include the path analysis and Sobel test to test the effect of mediation.The results showed that self-actualization positive and significant influence to Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) and employee performance, job satisfaction and significant positive effect on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) and employee performance, and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) positive and significant influence on employee performance. Additionally, Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) capable mediating the relationship between self-actualization and job satisfaction on employee performance.

Abstract

Capital market integration has become a central topic in international finance. ASEAN formulated a blueprint for an establishment of ASEAN Economic Community by 2015, and endorsed an Implementation Plan that was specifically written for the goal of capital market integration. This study aims to analyze integration among the ASEAN capital markets. This study investigates the selected six members of ASEAN (Indonesia, Malaysia, Phillipines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam) by using weekly data from 2007 to 2016. The study examines the stock market return interdependence. The Dynamic Conditional Correlation Multivariate-GARCH (DCC MGARCH) model is engaged to assess the dynamic structure of capital market co-movements. The results showed that ASEAN 6 capital markets are integrating. The dynamic correlation indicates that there is correlation of stock return between six members of ASEAN. Based on the result of integration, there is still a chance to diversify the portofolio in ASEAN region because Vietnam has a low correlational relationship with other countries.

Abstract

Manufacturing firm is processing industry company go through raw material into a goods. There are phenomenon in 2009 which showed that variable cash ratio, Return On Assets, size increased but it is not followed by increase Dividend Payout Ratio.This research aims to analyze the effect mechanism of liquidity, profitability, growth, firm size and financial leverage against the dividend payout ratio at manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia stock exchange (IDX) for the period 2008-2011. The mechanism of liquidity determined by variable cash ratio, the mechanism of profitability described by variable return on assets, while financial leverage in this research described by variable debt to equity ratio. The sample used in this study 29 companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange (IDX) for the period 2008-2011. Method of samples conducted by using purposive sampling. This research using multiple regression analysis including descriptive statistic test, classic assumptions test, and goodness of fit test. The result of this research showed that cash ratio had positive and not significant influence to dividend payout ratio, return on assets and size simultaneously had positive and significantly influence to dividend payout ratio, Growth was negative and not significant influence to Dividend Payout Ratio, meanwhile Debt to Equity Ratio had positive and significant influence to the Dividend Payout Ratio. Based on the coefficient of determination ( R2 ), having results of 0,224. It means independent variable influences the Cash Ratio, ROA, Growth, Size of the dependent variables, DER DPR can be described by this equation of 22,4%. While the rest of 77.6% is explained by other factors that are not included in the regression model.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of financial ratios on the profitability of PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia. The dependent variable in this study is ROA, while the independent variables are CAR, NPF, FDR, and BOPO; and SIZE as a control variable. The population of this study is PT. Bank Muamalat Indonesia, Tbk. The samples taken are quarterly financial statements of PT. Bank Muamalat Indonesia, Tbk for 7 periods, namely the period 2010 - 2017. Data collected was analyzed by descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS 25 computer program. Based on the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that: CAR has no significant positive effect on the profitability of PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia. NPF and BOPO have a negative and significant effect on the profitability of PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia. While FDR has a positive and not significant effect on the profitability of PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to examine empirical antecedent model that influence Organizational Citizenship Behaviour (OCB) appereance of employees in hospital. Whereas antecedent variabels of OCB are Perceived Organizational Support, Leader-Member Exchange, and Impression Management. While the mediation variable is Felt Obligation. Objects of this study are nurses as employee, and room heads as supervisor in General Centre Hospital Dr.Kariadi Semarang. Sample  taken by random sampling technique to 120 respondents. This study were analyzed using Partial Least Square method in Warp PLS 4.0 software. An empirical antecedent model of OCB were accepted. Perceived Organizational Support (POS) variable and Leader-Member Exchange(LMX) variable  were proved positively significant influencing both toward OCB through mediation variable, Felt Obligation (FO), and  positively significant influencing independent variable, OCB. Thus variable Impression Management (IM) only well influencing  directly towards OCB, and not positively influence toward FO as mediation variable.

Abstract

SMEs that produce batik is one of leading sectors to boost Pekalongan's economy. In producing and distributing, it needs support by suppliers, distributors, retailers, also consumers. This research aims to analyze the influence of supply chain management to the performance of batik SMEs in Pekalongan by using four independent variables of information sharing, trust, long-term relationship, and collaboration.The object of this research is batik SMEs domiciled in Pekalongan. The number of samples is 100 owners or managers batik SMEs in Pekalongan by using analytical method is multiple regression analysis and operated by SPSS 23.The result shows that information sharing has a positive influence on supply chain management performance, trust has a positive effect on supply chain management performance, long-term relationship has a positive effect on supply chain management performance, and collaboration has a positive influence on supply chain management performance.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to analyze the impact of promotions, word of mouth and brand awareness regarding intention to buy at Coffee Groove Semarang. The subject of this research is Coffee Groove’s customer. Samples used in this research are 100 respondents with random sampling technique method. It’s used to collect data by survey with questionnaires. Technique that used in the research to get the result is multiple linear regression technique. Analyzing data by using a multiple linear regression’s technique, result shown is that Y = 0,328X1 + 0, 287X2 + 0,143X3. It interprets that the promotion, word of mouth, and brand awareness possess positive effect towards intention to buy. Because of the significant value of promotion and word of mouth is less than 0,05 and the significant value of brand awareness is more than 0,05 so, that can be concluded that there is effect of  promotion and word of mouth significantly related intention to buy at Coffee Groove Semarang and there is not the affect of brand awareness significantly towards intention to buy at Coffee Groove Semarang.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of perceived usefulness, brand image, perceived risk, and perceived  customer value, on purchase decision variable at e-toll card user in Semarang city. This study uses perceived usefulness, brand image, and perceived risk as the independent variables and perceived customer value as the intervening variable, and purchase decision as the dependent variable. This study uses quantitative methodology with Structural Equation Method (SEM) and uses primer and secondary data, the data analysis by collecting questionnaire respondents and company data. There are 181 respondents in this research. The analysis showed that the two independent variables are perceived usefulness (0,241), brand image (0,438), and perceived risk (0,158) has a positive and significant relationship to the intervening variable that is the perceived customer value. There is one independent variable that has a negative correlation to the dependent variables is perceived risk (0,017). There are three variables that have a positive and significant relationship to the dependent variable (purchase decisions) that perceived usefulness, brand image and perceived customer value. Meanwhile, perceived risk has a negative relationship and does not significantly influence the purchasing decision as the dependent variable.

Abstract

            This study aims to analyze the influence of factors of salesperson’s performance  of smartphone salesperson in Semarang. Selling experience as independent variable and salesperson’s performance as dependent variable. This research uses selling competence and quality of relationship as intervening variables. Sample of this research is the salespersons of smartphone who have been working in Semarang at least 2 months. The sampling method in this research is purposive sampling. The analysis technique used is Structural Equation Modeling –by using AMOS 22.0 analysis tool.             The results of this study show selling experience and selling competence have positive and significant effects on quality of relationship, the selling experience has a positive and significant effect on the selling competence, selling experience and selling competence have positive and significant effects on salesperson’s performance, and quality of relationship has a positive and significant effect on salesperson’s performance.
