Abstract

There  are  5  motivation factors  examined in  this  study are  the  factors  of  leadership,compensation (salary  and  benefits),  the relationship  between co-workers, career  development, appreciation  from  organization.  The sample  in  this  study is  the  organization's  Civil Service Direktorat Zeni Angkatan Darat, East Jakarta,  which amounts to 74 employees. The analysis used in this study is the Spearman Rank Correlation Test, Test of Non - Parametik Mann Whitney and Kruskall Wallis test and Duncan test.The results showed that the preferences of motivational factors in the organization DITZIAD civil servants from the first  to the fifth rank is: Leader Factor,  Factor  Compensation (salary  and  benefits),  the  relationship  between co-workersfactor,  Career  Factor,  and  Factor appreciation. There are five factors correlations significant motivation to work among employees with different gender. There are significant differences between male officers and female officers in assessing the factor of appreciation. Male and female employees alike choose factors as the leader of  the main factors that  can  motivate them to work. Based on class  rank,  showed significant differences in the career development factors. Employees with the stratification according to rank≥ IIIC preferred career  development factors as the most motivating factor, while employees with the stratification according to rank IIIA-IIIB, IIC-IID, IIa-IIb prefer as leader of the main factorsthat motivate them to work.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the USD/AUD, interest rates, WTI oil prices, AORD index and NYMEX gold prices on stock returns  of mining and resources in Australian capital market. Based on research defined by Nordin brothers and Ismail (2014) and supported by Rostamy, Hosseini and Bakhshitakanlou (2013) these factors are leading indicators that affect stock returns of mining and resources.This research is using non-random sampilng method  for macroeconomic data in Australia, and it is analyzed with regression. Variable USD/AUD, interest rates, oil prices, AORD index and gold prices are partially and simultaniously analyzed regarding effect to the stock returns of mining and resources in Australian capital market.The results showed that in Australian capital market, the USD/AUD do not have effect with stock returns of mining and resources, interest rates do not have effect with stock returns of mining and it has negative effect with stock returns of resources, other variabels such as oil prices, AORD index and gold price have positive effect with stock returns of mining and resources. The results of this study, referred to the previous literature prove that the leading indicator of macroeconomic influence to cyclical stocks such as stock returns of mining and resources.

Abstract

The problem of this research begins when in big cities a lot of popping place cafe that is built according to the tastes and needs of young people. In the city of Semarang, the number of cafes suitable for hangout spread throughout the city, one of which is phenomenal Han's Coffee. Coffee Coffee Han on Kusumawardani Street, Pleburan Village. Facilities and menu Han's Coffee Semarang quite diverse, ranging from drinks, snacks and have a concept free of drugs and liquor, so no wonder Han's Coffee Semarang crowded from morning to night, let alone Han's Coffee Semarang open for 24 hours.The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of product, service quality, facilities and price on the displacement behavior. The method of this research is quantitative with the data instrument that got the questionnaire distributed to 100 respondents by using proportional random sampling technique, because the researcher divide the date on Tuesday (quiet) and crowded (Saturday) according to the proportion.The results of this study used multiple linear regression formula with the help of SPSS; product, service quality and facilities partially or simultaneously. Furthermore, the variables of facilities, prices and purchasing decisions partially to the movement of the gathering place. Product variables and quality of partial service are not migratory to the shifting place of assembly. Simultaneously the product variables, service quality, facilities, price and purchase decisions affect the movement of the gathering place.The end result (X1), quality (X2), price (X3), price (X4) and purchasing decision (Y1) orientation to the shifting place (Y2). As the magnitude of influence is 0.265 or 26.5 percent, meaning 100% -26.5% = 73.5% are independent variables of independent variables outside product variables (X1), service quality (X2), facility (X3) , price (X4) and purchase decision (Y1). From variable free variable see facility variable (X3) is the most dominant variable influence the movement of camping place, that is equal to 30,7 percent.

Abstract

This research was motivated by a lot of visitor complaints after visiting to Cagar Budaya Lawang Sewu in form of critics and suggestions. It indicates there are unsatisfactory  feelings after  their  visit to Cagar  Budaya  Lawang  Sewu  that could  be because of less attractive and decreasing services quality from the management. This research is aiming to analyze the effect of destination attraction and services quality toward visitor’s satisfaction and intent to revisit.zThis research using descriptive and quantitative for data analyze. The samples for this research are 385 visitors that visited Cagar Budaya Gedung Lawang Sewu. Data was collected using  questionnaires  which tested  the validity and  reliability. The data  was analyzed using multiple regression. The result of descriptive analysis shown that tourism attraction, services quality, visitor’s satisfaction, and intention to revisit Cagar Budaya Lawang Sewu classified as moderate. Statistical tests shown visitor’s satisfaction variable is  affecting  positively  toward  intention  to  revisit  variable  (hypothesis  1  is  accepted), tourism attraction variable is affecting positively toward visitor’s satisfaction (hypothesis 2 is accepted),   services quality variable is affecting positively toward visitor’s satisfaction (hypothesis 3 is accepted), tourism attraction is affecting positively toward intention to revisit (hypothesis 4 is accepted), Variabel daya tarik berpengaruh positif terhadap minat berkunjung  ulang  (hipotesis  4  diterima),  and  services  quality  variable  is  affecting positively toward intention to revisit (hypothesis 5 is accepted).

Abstract

Rapid growth of the internet technology has become one of the aspects that affect people’s lifestyle these days. The increasing usage of internet in Indonesia also gives stimulus toward the entrepreneurs in e-commerce sector to boost online transaction trends. The purpose of this research is to know the impact of WOM online quality, transaction security and online trust toward consumer purchase intention on online shopping transaction. This is done due to a high competition among online shopping sites. This research is also expected to identify what kind of factors that needs to be considered on increasing consumer online purchase intention.The sample used for this research is the visitors of Zalora Indonesia site in Semarang scope who had minimum one-time purchase. The samples are 191 people selected by nonprobability technique with purposive sampling approach. The analysis technique used for this research is structural equation models (SEM).The results of this research indicate that WOM online quality and transaction security have a positive and significant impact toward consumer online purchase intention. Online trust has a positive and significant impact toward consumer online purchase intention. WOM online quality and transaction security have a positive impact but not significant toward consumer online purchase intention.

Abstract

Small and medium industry have important role in developing manufacture industries in West Sumatra especially in food sector. Food processing industry in Padang, is potential industry to be developed. Product competitiveness is still lacking in small and medium food processing industry in Padang. The product  distribution is still difficult, this matter need to be considered for the company through the increasing performance. The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of supply chain management toward company performance. The population in this research is small and medium industry in Padang city that operating in food processing in Padang. The sample that used is 100 small and medium industry from the entire population of 736 small and medium industry, that taken by simple random sampling and the collected data is using questionnaire. Technique analysis used  is multiple linear regression that operated by SPSS programe. Variable information sharing, long term relationship, cooperation and process integration have positive and significant influence toward supply chain management performance on company. Process integration has the biggest significant value, and then information sharing then long term relationship and cooperation. All hypothesis was accepted because the  significant value is lower than 0,05. The result of coefficient determinant is 0,318, it shows that the ability of independent variable in explaining dependent variable is 31,8%.

Abstract

Growth motivation organization-based self esteem are related with needs satisfaction issues that was proposed as one of ERG Theory and self concept of oneself in organization therefore it held an important role in forming employee’s organizational commitment in their workplace. this research was designed in aiming the analyses and result implementation while studying the effect of growth motivation towards organizational commitment, the effect of obse towards organizational commitment. The effect of organizational commitment towards employee performances, the effect of growth motivation towards employee performances and obse towards employee performances.Present study used 95 employees of PT.PLN as the sample for the research while the population has 200 employees in total. Kind of technique that was used to do the sampling was quota sampling. Method of analyse in present study was multiple regression linear analysis and also path analysis method that has been proven as one of method that can be used to determine the causality connection among variables. Present study also run validity and reliability testing, classic assumption testing, hypothesis testing with t test , f test and r2test, sobel test was also used  to perform a more reliable result caused by mediation effect.Present study has several results in a form of statements which concludes that growth motivation and obse has a positive and significant effect towards organizational commitment, growth motivation and obse has a positive and significant effect towards employee performances, organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect towards employee performances, there is a mediation effect caused by organizational commitment as the intervening variable in relation betweem growth motivation and employee performances, last there is a mediation effect caused by organizational commitment as intervening variables in define the relation between obse and employee performances.

Abstract

Polytron is one of the Indonesian electronic products that can survive among the many imported products on the market. Polytron needs to know the characteristics of Indonesian consumer ethnocentric to strengthen strategy and increase the use of local products. This study aims to determine whether the consumer ethnocentrism, perceived price and the attractiveness of Atribut affect the product attitude that have an impact on the purchase decision products.          The samples used in this study were 150 people who have made a purchase Polytron product in Semarang. The questionnaire were distributed in June 2015 to July 2015. The data were then processed by using multiple regression analysis.            The results showed that all three independent variables have positive and significant effect on the dependent variable. The atribute attractiveness affect the attitudes toward product. The attitudes toward product has a positive and significant influence on the purchase decision variable and acts as an intervening variable.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the determinants of bank rating in rural banking of Indonesia periods 2012 - 2013. There are four independents variable that used, which are Non-Performing Loan (NPL), Return on Asset (ROA), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) and Operating Expense and Operating Income (BOPO), and the dependent variable is bank rating.             Sampling technique used is purposive sampling, which criteria as rural bank in Indonesia who provide annual reports periods 2012 - 2013, listed on Info Bank rating, and has assets 100 – 500 billion. Samples obtained a number of 85 rural banks. The data was analyzed with regression technique. Before being tested using regression analysis, the data must first pass the test of classic assumption there are normality test, autocorrelation test, multicollinearity test, and heteroscedasticity test.            The result of this study showing that NPL has negative relationship and significant toward bank rating. ROA has positive relationship and significant toward bank rating. LDR has positive relationship and insignificant toward bank rating. The last, BOPO has insignificant positive relationship toward bank rating. This research also obtained that adjusted R2 16,10%. This means that 16.10% variation of bank rating can be explained by the five independent variables.

Abstract

Work satisfaction and organizational commitment influence staff performance . The purpose  of  this  research  to  explain  how  the  variable  of  work  satisfaction  and organizational commitment influence to BNI KCU Undip Semarang staffs. In addition on it is use to recognize which variable influences dominantly to the performanceThe data of this research are obtained by giving the quistionare to the 32 BNI KCU Undip  Semarang  staffs  .  The  data  tes  tecnique  in  this  research  are  istrument  test  ( realibility test , validity test ), clasical asumption test ( normality test , heterosekdesitas test, linearity test , multilinear regression analysis , T-test , F-test , Coefisient of determination test using SPSS 20.0 aplication .The result shows that the work satisfaction and organizasional commitment influence positively and significantly to the staff performace, variables used in this research give positive responce , meaning the work satisfaction and organizational commitment improving the performance BNI KCU Undip Staff. Value of determination coefisien or R square  is  0,663,  which means  staff  performance  is  affected  by  staff satisfication  and organizational commitment as 66,3%.
