Abstract

Tabalong Regency will become one of the supporting cities for the new National Capital because of its strategic location and available resources. The ethnic diversity in Tabalong creates a multilingual situation which gives rise to a number of problems, such as the threat of extinction of minority languages due to the dominant language and socio-political conflicts due to tension due to less effective communication processes. Knowledge about the relationship of language in inter-ethnic interactions can strengthen feelings of inter-ethnic kinship. This research aims to determine the relationship between the main languages in Tabalong, namely Deah, Maanyan and Banjar. The techniques used are lexicostatistics and glotochronology. The results of data analysis using lexicostatistical techniques found that these three languages are classified as families at the linguistic level with a kinship percentage of Deah - Maanyan of 59%, Deah - Banjar of 50%, and Maanyan - Banjar of 52%. Glotochronological analysis shows that the separation time for these three languages, namely Deah - Maanyan is around 1,331-1,101 years, Deah - Banjar is around 1,729-1,463 years, and Maanyan - Banjar is 1,635-1,377 years. The phonemic correspondence of the three languages, namely Deah – Maanyan corresponds to the phonemes /o/ ~ /ε/ and /s/ ~ /h/, Deah – Banjar corresponds to the phonemes /o/ ~ /a/ and /w/ ~ /b/ , and Maanyan – Banjar correspond to the phonemes /ε/ ~ /a/, /ε/ ~ /i/, /h/ ~ /s/, /w/ ~ /b/, and /s/ ~ /c/.

Abstract

Background: This also happens to PGSD students. Based on observations, show that the majority of students have carried out academic procrastination such as delaying doing coursework, delaying studying when facing exams, and sometimes choosing to do things that are more fun and unrelated to academic assignments. The emergence of academic procrastination behavior is caused by several factors, including low intrinsic motivation, laziness in studying, lack of discipline in the way parents educate them, influence from friends in their environment, as well as a lack of self-regulated learning (SRL) in managing time for doing assignments with other things. Method: This type of research is quasi-experimental research. The population of this study was 2714, while the sample was 349 students. Data were collected by using several instruments in the form of an academic procrastination scale and a self-regulated learning scale. Statistical testing using linear regression analysis. Results and Dıscussion: The results of the study indicated that the significance value is 0.025 <0.05. Conclusion: It can be concluded that there is a significant influence on the self-regulated learning on academic procrastination of Muhammadiyah University students of Palangkaraya.

Abstract

The management of the Lambung Mangkurat South Kalimantan Student Dormitory is responsible for providing reports on their dormitory residents. These reports include personal data and Study Result Cards to confirm that boarders are students. However, currently, the administrators use WhatsApp groups to collect these reports, which causes a backlog and difficulty in data collection. Therefore, a research project was initiated to develop an application that can assist residents and administrators in collecting and managing these reports. The app serves as a monitoring and evaluation tool for the boarders. It can also track their financial, academic, and daily picket activity reports. The research started with a literature study to identify the problems and objectives of the project. The current system procedures were analyzed to identify areas that needed improvement. Based on the research results, an Android-based application was developed and successfully implemented at Lambung Mangkurat South Kalimantan Student Dormitory. This application has features that allow dormitory managers to monitor daily picket activities, academic reports, and cash billing information more efficiently.
