Abstract

Cognitive learning outcomes in Natural and Social Sciences are still low in elementary schools due to teacher-centered instruction. This study aims to determine the effect of the Cooperative Integrated Reading And Composition model on the cognitive learning outcomes of fourth grade students. The research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental non equivalent control group design involving 20 students in the experimental class and 20 students in the control class. Data were obtained from a cognitive essay test administered after treatment. The normality test indicated a normal distribution with L count of the experimental class 2.461 and the control class 1.264, while the L table was 0.190. The homogeneity test showed homogeneous variance with F count 0.999 and F table 2.168. Hypothesis testing revealed a significant difference with a t count 7.20 and t table 1.686. The mean score of the experimental class was 76.6, higher than the control class 58.9. These findings indicate that the Cooperative Integrated Reading And Composition model has a positive effect on students’ cognitive learning outcomes.

Abstract

In the development of Indonesia, both the past mass and the energy front mass will continue to makechanges and developments. This is due to developments and innovations in the use of renewable energy.Likewise with PLTS, which has developed quite a message and also continues to experience fairly rapiddevelopment, not only industry but also PLTS can be developed for home-scale or small-scale energyusers. This is because the use of PLTS is quite efficient, both in terms of construction costs andmaintenance costs.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of interpersonal intelligence on students’ active participation in mathematics learning at the elementary school level. Interpersonal intelligence refers to an individual’s ability to understand, empathize, and interact effectively with others, which is believed to play a vital role in enhancing students’ engagement in the learning process. This research employed a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The population consisted of 33 fourth-grade students at UPT SD Negeri 2 Karangsari in the 2025/2026 academic year, selected using the total sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using simple linear regression. The results indicated a positive and significant effect of interpersonal intelligence on students’ active participation, with a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.782 and a determination coefficient (r²) of 0.611. This means that 61.1% of the variation in students’ active participation is influenced by interpersonal intelligence. Therefore, improving students’ interpersonal intelligence can encourage them to become more active, communicative, and collaborative in mathematics learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Think Talk Write (TTW) learning model on students' ability to draw conclusions from a reading text in the Indonesian language subject for grade V at the UPT SD Negeri 1 Pringsewu Utara. The study used a quantitative approach with a Pre-Experimental One Group Pretest–Posttest Design. The subjects were all 20 grade V students. The research instrument was a multiple-choice test consisting of 15 questions that had been tested for validity and reliability using the Point Biserial and KR-20 techniques. Data analysis included a normality test with Lilliefors, a homogeneity test with the F test, and a paired sample t-test. The results showed that the data were normally distributed and homogeneous, with a value of thitung = 22.7225 and ttabel = 2.04523 at a significance level of 0.05. Since thitung > ttabel, H₀ is rejected and Hₐ is accepted. Thus, there is a significant difference between student learning outcomes before and after the implementation of the TTW model. This shows that the Think Talk Write learning model is effective in improving students' ability to draw conclusions from reading texts.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an innovative e-module for Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) learning in Grade V elementary school based on the Deep Learning approach, addressing the limited availability of interactive and pedagogically grounded digital teaching materials that foster meaningful and reflective learning. Using a Research and Development (R&D) design with a modified ADDIE model, the study focused on the analysis, design, and development stages, followed by limited implementation and evaluation. The product was validated by three experts in subject matter, media, and language, and its readability was tested by 25 elementary school students. Data were collected using expert validation questionnaires and student readability questionnaires, then analyzed quantitatively through descriptive statistics. The results showed that the e-module was highly valid with scores of 90.97% for subject matter, 87.12% for media, and 88.89% for language, while the readability test reached 93.15% in the “very good” category. These findings confirm that the e-module is accurate, well-organized, visually engaging, linguistically appropriate, and effective in supporting independent learning, as well as integrating interactive elements such as videos, quizzes, and exploratory tasks to enhance deep learning. However, the study was limited to small-scale implementation in one school, so the generalizability of the results is constrained. Future research is suggested to test the effectiveness of the e-module in broader contexts and explore adaptive technology integration such as artificial intelligence and learning analytics to improve personalization and sustainability of digital learning innovations.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using Game Based Learning in increasing the motivation of tenth-grade students at SMK Dwi Warna Medan in Civics subjects, and to examine the impact of implementing Game Based Learning on student participation during the Civics learning process. This research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The data and data sources in this study are the respondents and other sources that support this research. Data management is carried out using instruments consisting of pre-test and post-test questions. Data analysis in this study uses statistical tests such as normality test, homogeneity test, and paired sample t-test. This is evidenced by the comparison of pre-test and post-test scores, which showed a significant increase. The average pre-test score of students in the experimental group was recorded at 66.00, while the post-test score reached 87.60, indicating an increase of 21.6 points. Based on the paired t-test results, the significance value obtained was p = 0.000 (p < 0.05), which means there is a statistically significant difference between the learning outcomes before and after using the Game-Based Learning (GBL) method. Based on the questionnaire results given before and after the treatment, student participation increased from an average pre-test score of 64.96 to 76.48 in the post-test. This increase of 11.52 points shows that the game-based learning method can encourage students to be more active in discussions, answering questions, and participating in educational games embedded in the learning material.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a non-communicable disease characterized by chronic blood sugarelevation. Excessive consumption of foods and beverages high in added sugar is a major risk factor fortype 2 DM, especially in adolescents. Nutrition education through innovative media such as TikTokcan be an effective alternative to increase knowledge and change adolescent attitudes. To analyze theeffectiveness of nutrition education using TikTok videos on knowledge and attitudes toward sugarconsumption based on the Transtheoretical Model (TTM) theory in students. Quasi-experimentalresearch with pre-test post-test control group design. A sample of 40 students from MAN 1 Palu Citywas selected by purposive sampling, consisting of 20 students in the experimental group (TikTokeducation) and 20 students in the control group (instructional video). Data were analyzed usingPaired sample t-test and Independent sample t-test. There was a significant difference in knowledgescores in both groups (p-value = 0.000). Knowledge scores in the experimental group increased from52.80 to 73.60, while the control group increased from 50.80 to 74.60. Attitude scores showed nosignificant difference (p-value > 0.05), but there was a change in stages from contemplation topreparation based on TTM. Gain Score showed moderate effectiveness in both media (TikTok = 0.44;instructional video = 0.48). TikTok-based nutrition education and instructional videos are effective inincreasing knowledge and changing adolescent attitudes toward sugar consumption fromcontemplation to preparation stages.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the obstacles faced by teachers in implementing project-based learning (PjBL) strategies in Civics subjects at SD Negeri 1 Serdang Lampung Selatan Bandar Lampung. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through field observations, in-depth interviews with Civics teachers, and surveys (questionnaires) to map teachers' perceptions of existing obstacles. The results of the study indicate that the main obstacles faced by teachers at SD Negeri 1 Serdang Lampung Selatan Bandar Lampung include: (1) Limited time allocation that is not commensurate with the complex PjBL syntax; (2) Lack of resources and supporting facilities for project learning; (3) Teachers' difficulties in designing projects that are contextual and relevant to Civics material; and (4) Challenges in managing student group dynamics, such as boredom and lack of active participation. This study concludes that although PjBL is recognized as important, support in the form of intensive training for teachers and more flexible curriculum adjustments are needed to overcome these obstacles.
