Abstract

The goals of this research were to describe the practicality POEE learning method process to increase students’ understanding concept in term of teacher’s activities treatment and students’ activities treatment during the POEE learning process, and to describe the effectiveness of POEE learning method to increase students’ understanding concept in term of significance of differences in pretest and posttest score, enhancement of understanding concept and students’ responses after POEE learning method has been done. This research was pre experimental by one group pretest posttest design. The sample of this research was determined by ensure that the population normally distributed and homogenous ability first, so it obtained grade XI MIA 1 of SMAN 1 Krian as the sample. The results of the research indicate that POEE learning method can be performed and implemented very well. While using the POEE learning method, Students could perform noticebly very well. The result explain that POEE learning method could be implemented and successfully increased, students’ activities when they were learned was categorized by very good. There are significant differences in pretest and posttest values so, students’ understanding concept could be increased by the average enhancement 0,6 and its categorized as very good. Students’ response of POEE learning method had range 76%-90% by good until very good as the criteria. Based on that result, it showed that implementation of POEE learning method could increase students’ understanding concept. Keywords: POEE, understanding concept

Abstract

This Research is done based on the desire to inspire the spirit of Indonesia society to read early from students and produced the main product in the form of e-book in the planetary motion material by integrating the verses of Al-Quran. This study aimed to (1) produce e-book as learning media for XI grade students of MAN 1 Gresik in planetary motion material by integrating verses of Al-Quran that is proper to be used based on it’s validity, effectiveness and practicality, and (2) obtain the description about the properness of the e-book. This research used Research & Development (R & D) method. The data was derived from the validation assessment from three expert lecturers and one expert teacher covering material, media, language, and the Al-Quran content; learning outcomes and positive responses from 31 students of MAN 1 Gresik in class XI MIPA 1; As well as observers’ observations of the learning implementation and learning obstacles. The results showed that the e-book developed fulfill a very valid category. The acquisition of validity score was 95.45 in the material section, 92.85 in the media section, 66.67 in the language section, and 82.14 in the content of Al-Quran section. Furthermore, based on the effectiveness of the e-book in terms of students’ learning outcomes, the result was 74.19% with good category and in terms of students’ positive responses was 95.34% with very good category. Then based on the practicality of the e-book in terms of the learning process implementation, the learning process was done with very good category in the opening, main activity, and the closing section. The obstacles experienced in the learning process was the lack of laptops that can be used so that students had to use the laptop in pairs. Thus it can be concluded that the e-book in the planetary motion material by integrating the verses of Al-Quran declared eligible or proper to be used as a learning media for students in class XI MAN 1 Gresik.   Keywords: e-book, planetary motion, verses of Al-Quran, Research and Development.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kelayakan Lembar Kerja Pesera Didik (LKPD) pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing menggunakan Amrita Virtual Lab dan ketercapaian keterampilan proses sains menggunakan LKPD yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh LKPD yang layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran dengan indikator persentase rata-rata hasil validasi mencapai 96,53% dengan kategori sangat baik,  peningkatan ketuntasan hasil tes keterampilan proses sains sebesar 81% dengan skor N-Gain sebesar 0,68 dalam kategori sedang, dan hasil angket respon peserta didik memberikan respon positif sebesar 93,07%. Adapun persentase hasil ketercapaian keterampilan proses sains ≥61%untuk setiap indikator yaitu merumuskan masalah dan menentukan hipotesis 93,75%, menentukan variabel percobaan 68,75%, melakukan percobaan 86,80%, menerapkan konsep 81,25%, membuat kesimpulan 79,92% dan komunikasi 73,61%. Dengan demikian, LKPD yang dikembangkan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran dan dapat melatihkan keterampilan proses sains peserta didik.     Kata Kunci : Amrita virtual lab, Inkuiri terbimbing, Keterampilan proses sains, Lembar kerja peserta didik .   Abstract This study aimed to describe the feasibility of student’s worksheet based on guided inquiry learning using Amrita Virtual Lab and the achievement of science process skill using developed student worksheet. This study was a development study using ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). Based on these results, they were found that student worksheet was eligible to be used in the learning activity under the indicator of the percentage of the average of validation result which was 96,53% and it was categorized as very good, the improvement of the completeness of test result of science process skill was 81% with a score of N-Gain 0,68 in the medium category, and the results of the questionnaire showed that the students gave a positive response which was 93,07%. In addition, for the percentage of the achievement of science process skill ≥61% for each indicator is that formulating the problem and determining the hypothesis were 93.75%, defining the variable of the experiment was 68.75%, doing the experiment was 86.80%, applying the concepts was 81.25%, making conclusions was 79 , 92% and communicating was 73.61%. Thus, developed LKPD was eligible to be used in the learning activity and it could train the students’ science process skill.   Keywords: Amrita Vitual Lab, Guided inquiry, Science process skills, Student worksheet

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterlaksanaan dan mendeskripsikan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan penerapan media simulasi PhET  dalam pembelajaran fisika kurikulum 2013 pada materi fluida dinamis pada kelas eksperimen dan replikasi. Penelitian yang dilakukan adalah pre experiment dengan desain one group pretest posttest menggunakan satu kelas eksperimen dan dua kelas replikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada kelas eksperimen dan dua kelas replikasi. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMA Khadijah Surabaya pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas XI MIA 2, XI MIA 3, dan XI MIA 4. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan lembar tes hasil belajar, lembar pengamatan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, dan angket respon siswa. Hasil belajar dianalisis dengan uji t dua pihak, dan n-gain score. Pada hasil penelitian didapatkan hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan dan konsisten di ketiga kelas.  Tingkat peningkatan dengan n-gain score sebesar 0,83 untuk kelas eksperimen, 0,86 untuk kelas replikasi 1 dan replikasi 2 dengan kategori tinggi di ketiga kelas. Skor rata-rata  keterlaksanaan pembelajaran secara berturut-turut untuk kelas eksperimen, kelas replikasi 1, dan kelas replikasi 2 adalah 3,48, 3,6, dan 3,7 dengan kategori sangat baik untuk ketiga kelas. Respon siswa kelas eksperimen, kelas replikasi 1 dan kelas replikasi 2 menunjukkan nilai positif dengan rata-rata persentase pada masing-masing kelas adalah 81,12% dengan kategori sangat baik, 80,47% dengan kategori sangat baik, dan 74,80% dengan kategori baik.   Kata kunci : PhET, pembelajaran fisika Kurikulum 2013, hasil belajar, fluida dinamis.   Abstract This study aims to determine adherence and describe the results of student learning using media application PhET simulations in teaching physics curriculum in 2013 on dynamic fluid material in class experiments and replication. This research is pre experiment with one group pretest posttest design using an experimental class and two classes of replication. Results showed that the experimental class and two classes of replication. The experiment was conducted in SMA Khadijah Surabaya in the second semester of the 2015/2016 academic year. The research subject is a class XI student MIA 2, 3 MIA XI, and XI MIA 4. Data was collected using achievement test sheets, observation sheets adherence learning and student questionnaire responses. Learning outcomes were analyzed by t-test two parties, and the n-gain score. The results showed that the learning outcomes of students has increased significantly and consistently across all three classes. Levels increase with n-gain score of 0.83 for the experimental class, 0.86 for class 1 replication and replication 2 with the high category in the third grade. The average score of the adherence learning respectively for class experiments, replication grade 1 and grade 2 replication was 3.48, 3.6, and 3.7 with very good category for the third grade. Grade student response experiments, replication grade 1 and grade 2 shows the replication of positive value to the average percentage of each class is 81.12% with a very good category, 80.47% with a very good category, and 74.80% by both categories.   Keywords: PhET, learning the physics curriculum in 2013, learning outcomes, dynamic fluid.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui kelayakan dan keefektifan LKS berbasis inkuiri terbimbing pada materi tata surya. Kelayakan LKS dibagi menjadi dua bagian yaitu kelayakan teoritis yang ditinjau dari hasil validasi oleh tim validator dan kelayakan praktis yang ditinjau dari keterlaksanaan LKS dalam pembelajaran. Sedangkan keefektifan ditinjau dari hasil belajar serta angket respon siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan model penilitian ADDIE sedangkan desain penelitian menggunakan one group pretest-posttest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKS berbasis inkuiri terbimbing dengan menggunakan laboratorium virtual pada materi tata surya layak digunakan secara teoritis. Hasil validasi yang dilakukan oleh validator menunjukkan presentasi 93,65% dengan rincian masing-masing komponen isi 93,75%, komponen penyajian 93,33%, komponen kebahasaan 94,44% dan komponen kegrafisan 93,06%. Berdasarkan kelayakan praktis, hasil uji coba keterlaksanaan LKS berbasis inkuiri terbimbing dengan menggunakan laboratorium virtual pada materi tata surya mencapai persentase sebesar 95,66%. Keefektifan dari LKS inkuiri terbimbing memperoleh respon positif dari siswa sebesar 90,91 %. Berdasarkan ketuntasan hasil belajar pada aspek sikap dan keterampilan mencapai 100% sedangkan aspek pengetahuan mencapai 84,85%.   Kata Kunci: LKS, Inkuiri terbimbing, Tata Surya, Laboratorium Virtual     Abstract   This study aim to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of guided inquiry Student worksheet based on the material of the solar system. Eligibility student Worksheet is divided into two parts there are the theoretical feasibility that evaluated from the results of the validation by the team validator and practical feasibility in terms of enforceability of student worksheet in learning. While the effectiveness in terms of learning outcomes and student questionnaire responses. This Study uses a model study  ADDIE model while the study design using one group pretest-posttest. The results showed that the student worksheet based guided inquiry using the virtual laboratory on solar system material used theoretically feasible. The results of the validation performed by 93.65% validator. that show presentation with details of each component content of 93.75%, 93.33% presentation components, 94.44% component linguistic and 93.06% graphics component. Based on the practical feasibility, enforceability sudent worksheet  test results based guided inquiry using virtual laboratory on the material of the solar system reaches a percentage of 95.66%.  The effectiveness of guided inquiry studentworksheet obtain a positive response from students of 90.91%. Based on the thoroughness of learning outcomes in the attitudes and skills aspects of achieving   100% while the knowledge aspect peak at 84.85%.   Keyword : Student worksheet, guided inquiry, solar system, virtual laboratory

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan kelayakan alat peraga rel osilasi kelereng dalam pembelajaran fisika pada materi getaran harmonis,  mengetahui keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, hasil belajar serta respon siswa setelah pembelajaran berlangsung. Desain penelitian menggunakan one shoot case study  dengan model 4D meliputi tahap pendefinisian (define), perencanaan (design), pengembangan (develop), dan penyebaran (dessiminate). Penelitian ini dibatasi sampai tahap pengembangan (develop) dengan dilakukan uji coba pada  kelas XI SMA sebanyak 3 kelas. Metode analisa data meliputi hasil validasi kelayakan alat peraga rel osilasi, hasil belajar siswa yang terdiri dari penilaian pengetahuan, sikap, dan keterampilan, serta analisa respon siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan validasi oleh dosen ahli terhadap alat peraga rel osilasi kelereng memperoleh 87,5% dengan kategori sangat layak digunakan, pembelajaran terlaksana sangat baik dengan persentase 95,33%, hasil belajar siswa setelah mengikuti pembelajaran dengan menggunakan alat peraga sebesar 76 dengan kategori baik, sedangkan hasil respon siswa adalah 82,21% yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat positif.   Kata Kunci: Rel Osilasi, Getaran Harmonis, Percepatan Gravitasi Abstract The aim of this research is describe feasibility of rail marble oscillation on physic leraning for harmonic oscillation, learning implementation, study result, and student response after learning with rail marble oscillation. Design of research was one shoot case study with 4D model consist of define, design, develop, and dessiminate. This research had been trough the development phase only with experiment in 3 class of XI senior high school. Technic analitycal data is the result of validity feasibility of rail marble oscillation, analitycal study result consist of kognitif, affective, psychomotor and student responses. Feasibility based on the result of the validation is 87,5% show very feasiblity, learning implementation is 95,33% show very good category , the study result showed 76 give good category, and student responses showed 82,21% give very possitive responses.   Keyword : Rail Oscilation, Harmonic Oscilation, Gravitation Acceleration
