Focus and Scope Peurawi: Journal of Islamic Communication Studies aims to provide an academic forum for publications based on Islamic communication. Peurawi is based on values derived from Islamic principles, such as ethics, universality, inclusiveness, and humanity, which serve as a reference in the development of communication studies. The Peurawi Journal seeks collaboration with international researchers through publications covering diverse communication methods and fields, including media studies, journalism, public relations, digital communication, organizational communication, and other related subfields within the scope of communication science. This journal recognizes the increasing relevance of communication research in addressing social, cultural, and global issues, and gives priority to works that demonstrate theoretical contributions and practical significance. Articles with a comparative, critical, or international orientation are highly welcome, as they provide alternative perspectives and broaden the scope of academic inquiry. By integrating Islamic communication values with advances in contemporary communication science, Peurawi serves as a medium for disseminating research that is rigorous in method, substantial in concept, and relevant to the pursuit of knowledge and social responsibility. Abstract

The growth of information technology provides various influences in human life, both positive and negative influences. The negative influence of technological developments will cause problems in human life. Among these negative impacts is gadget addiction for children. Parents must play an active role in limiting and protecting children from addiction. One way that parents can do is through a communication approach to children. This study aims to find out how communication between parents and children prevents gadget addiction. The research method uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological study with research subjects being informants who have children aged 12-15 years. The theory in this research is the Dialogue theory from Martin Burber. The results of this study are that of the three families studied using dialogue as a form of communication within the family to prevent gadget addiction for children. these parents consider dialogue to be more effective than other forms of communication. The obstacles that occur in children are that at the beginning of the dialogue it is not easy to give understanding to children to limit gadgets, and children tend to be silent when having dialogue.

Abstract

Sultan Muhammad Al-Fatih's political communications became in the public spotlight, when he was able to make an Islamic history known to the world with his success in conquering the city of Constantinople. From his figure who is smart, hard, committed and courageous, it becomes the capital to prove the bisyarah of Rasulullah SAW. However, of course this is not enough, the Sultan must be able to win the hearts of and mobilize the Muslims to jointly fight and conquer the city of Constantinople. This research is historical research using qualitative methods with library research and historical approach techniques. The results of this study indicate that during his leadership period Sultan Muhammad Al-Fatih implemented policies based on Islamic law, including reforming the government system, upholding Islamic leadership, upholding justice and moral values, and giving freedom to Christians and Jews in worship with certain conditions. The Sultan uses language properly and precisely in conveying the rules that apply during his leadership. both in the form of information, education and instructions, so as to form the mentality and enthusiasm to prove the bisyarah of the Prophet Muhammad, jihad fi sabilillah and get the title of ghazi.

Abstract

This research is entitled “Preaching Value in Saman Gayo Poems” purposed to figure out any kind of preaching value contained in Saman Gayo poems. The researsch used qualitative method and the data are descriptive with documentation and interview approach. The theory used in this reasearch was Hermunistic Theory, in which the interpretation is explained. This theory refers to interpreting a word or a sentence which is difficult to be understood in different languages and the meaning of difficult figurative words. The data analysis method used in this research is on-field analysis, Miles dan Huberman model. This method consists of analyzing the data; data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Based on the result, it can be concluded that some preaching values found in Saman Gayo poems as “Ku ini nge sawah hana de salamku, Ini nge mudemu mat jarike mule kite, kite bermat jari”. Meaning: Here has arrived, what my greetings, This has met our greetings first, we shake hands. The poem explains that the meaning of greetings contains respect in accordance with the concept of Islam.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the message in the animated film Zootopia. Film as a product of mass media, contains a message to be conveyed by the maker. However, not a few film lovers are immersed in the story and visuals presented, thus ignoring the message that is full of meaning in it. For this reason, this study was conducted to analyze the messages contained in this film. This study uses a qualitative method, with a semiotic analysis approach. The results of the study indicate that this film contains a satirical message against the government bureaucracy.

Abstract

This research was titled "PR Strategy of tourism Office of Banda Aceh in building Banda Aceh as Tourism city". The theory used is theory of planning. This research is qualitative research with descriptive type. There are 5 informant in this study. The data collection methods used are interviews, observations, and documentation. Based on the research that has been done, the results of the strategy that was conducted in the promotion process of Banda Aceh as a tourism city is ranging from the annual program of Chairming Kota Banda ACEH, doing cooperation with City District government in the vicinity of Banda Aceh, doing cooperation with travel-travel both at the Regional, national and international level, as well as promoting through social media Instagram and also the use of the official website To provide information about tourism in the city of Banda Aceh. Constraints such as the lack of understanding of the community around the location of the tourist objects from the positive value of the location of tourist objects, there are still public statmen to the condition of Banda Aceh resulting from the history of conflict In Aceh.

Abstract

Information openness in today's digital era allows a variety of information to be easily accessed by everyone, including children who do not yet have sufficient skills to sort through information properly. The development of a child's character is influenced by the family's treatment of him. Psychology of Communication in Islamic educational activities plays an important role to express intent with the communicant. Personnel in internal education, both educators or education staff, and students, of course, interact. The communication process that is not based on psychology, what will happen in life is disharmony or incompatibility. This research is qualitative research that describes all the data found through the literature approach. In previous research, there were several journals related to this research, some of which were about Islamic-Based Character Education through the Love of the Prophet Program for Kindergarten Children written by Iske Diana Towoliu, Sofia Hartati, Hapidin from the State University of Jakarta. The family is the smallest social system in which it can consist of father, mother, and children, each of whom has a role. Children have critical thinking about many things starting when they begin to recognize the language. The questions that come out of the mouth of a child should be answered with honest answers and can satisfy the child's heart. Moral education and honesty for a child start from the family, through parents.

Abstract

Education is always the foundation for the development in every country as it is essential for individual sectors such as politics, economics, social and cultural regardless of time and situation. Moreover, education can provide people knowledge, competencies, skills and attitudes that people powerfully engage in the development schemes of their societies. When figuring about education in the society is necessary for the public, peace communication and conflict resolution have been a key role for the diverse cultural communities with multicultural norms and practices to establish effective and sustainable development in education system. Promoting the education about peace and conflict resolution in the system can encourage the peace and stability of the communities and even to the students in their daily lives. The study focuses on integrating peace communication and conflict resolution in the education system and discusses about the direct and indirect approaches to the peace communication and conflict resolution education integration in Myanmar using case study research method presenting descriptive contexts, international examples and background information for in-depth analysis of various perspectives.

Abstract

This article examines the message of preaching in the Instagram media @sahabat_islami, because along with the development of the era, the netizens use Instagram media as a media in reviewing about the Islamic, with the media, the messages will be delivered quickly to the followers. This study uses a qualitative research type with a descriptive approach. It is used to examine the design as a whole, while the approach is a descriptive approach with the goal of being able to describe comprehensively the research results obtained in the field. The results of the discussion say that the messages of Da'wah through the media istagram @sahabat_islami contain the message of Aqidah, sharia message, and Akhlak. Netizen comments on the post are positive and negative. Positive comments are helpful for gaining insight into Keislaman, a negative comment saying that the account is indicated by the business. The message of preaching on the Instagram account @sahabat_islami in raising religious awareness is, since becoming an Instagram follower they have an impact in the better direction, and often practice about the knowledge gained through the postings on the account.

Abstract

This research was conducted to know the form of communication Da'wah that was built by the management of Da'wah Group on Channel Syiar Tauhid ACEH in the message of Da'wah messages, Da'wah material that is more often raised to the Channel Syiar Telegram Da'wah Group Tauhid Aceh to not be left behind in the message of Da'wah and the constraints faced during the process of delivering Da'wah messages through telegram on the channel Syiar Tauhid ACEH. Qualitative approaches and field research methods (Reseasch files) and library research. Data collection techniques in research are conducted with interviews, observations and documentation. Results of the research that the form of communication Da'wah that was built by the channel manager Da'wah on the channel Syiar Tauhid ACEH in the delivery of Da'wah messages consisting of question and answer in this respect the party Channel of Da'wah Aceh Syiar Tauhid A variety of Da'wah message materials both related to the message of Aqidah, as well as the message of Sharia and Ahklak. God. The obstacles faced during the process of delivering Da'wah messages through telegram on Channel Syiar Tauhid ACEH Competence Less and lack of the number of employees. The lack of the number of admins become the main constraint in delivering the messages of Da'wah by the Da'wah Channel Syiar Tauhid Aceh.

Abstract

The development of da'wah is increasing, including in South Sulawesi, especially Bulukumba. One of the pioneering da'wah organizations in Bulukumba is the Bulukumba Da'i Muda Council (MDM). Historically, MDM was founded on the desire and belief of the young preachers of Bulukumba to spread Islamic da'wah to all circles in South Sulawesi. There are 3 main targets of MDM in preaching: mothers, street youth and people with disabilities. This article is examined using several concepts, namely identity negotiation and expressing Islam. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews with research informants. The da'wah movement carried out by the Bulukumba Da'I Council (MDM) is inseparable from the portrait of contemporary issues, making youth and disabilities the primary targets for preaching. Da'wah activities among disabled people in South Sulawesi are new da'wah activities. MDM is a pioneer organization in this da'wah. The approach used in preaching is motivational and economical. In contrast, a dynamic approach is used among youths, namely, getting into the youth's habits, such as hanging out on beaches and cafes. These da'wah activities use thematic methods by raising material ranging from the Fiqhi of Worship to studying the interpretation of the Koran.
