Abstract

Roman Siddhartha, yang ditulis oleh Hermann Hesse pada tahun 1922, merupakan roman yang berpengaruh pada tahun 1960. Roman ini menceritakan sosok Siddhartha yang merupakan keturunan Brahmana, dimana Brahmana adalah kasta tertinggi dalam agama Hindu. Sebagai bentuk karya sastra yang sarat dengan aspek kejiwaan, Roman Siddharta tentu tidak lepas dari aspek kehidupan, karena sebuah karya sastra menyerap aspek kemanusiaan yang berasal dari pengarang maupun dari lingkungan pengarang. Aspek – aspek kemanusiaan tersebut masuk ke dalam ranah bidang psikologi, yang jika dikaitkan dengan karya sastra maka menghasilkan sebuah kajian atau disiplin baru yaitu psikologi sastra. Salah satu teori psikologi yang bisa diterapkan sesuai dengan roman tersebut adalah adalah teori kebutuhan bertingkat Abraham Maslow, yang memusatkan perhatiannya pada manusia sehat jasmani dan rohani yang  mampu mengaktualisasikan diri. Berdasarkan  latar belakang tersebut, penelitian ini memfokuskan kajiannya pada dua rumusan permasalahan, yaitu (1) apa saja sifat – sifat orang teraktualisasi yang tidak muncul pada tokoh Siddhartha dalam roman berjudul Siddhartha karya Hermann Hesse, dan (2) mengapa sifat – sifat tersebut tidak muncul pada tokoh Siddhartha dalam roman berjudul Siddhartha karya Hermann Hesse melalui cara tokoh memenuhi kebutuhan aktualisasi dirinya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) mendeskripsikan sifat – sifat orang teraktualisasi yang tidak muncul pada tokoh Siddhartha dalam roman berjudul Siddhartha karya Hermann Hesse, dan (2) menemukan penyebab sifat – sifat tersebut tidak muncul pada tokoh Siddhartha dalam roman berjudul Siddhartha karya Hermann Hesse melalui cara tokoh memenuhi kebutuhan aktualisasi dirinya. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif analitis. Metode ini dilakukan dalam dua tahapan, yakni mengidentifikasi dan mendata kutipan – kutipan dari roman Siddhartha yang menunjukkan adanya negasi dari sifat-sifat orang teraktualisasi dengan mengacu pada teori kebutuhan bertingkat Abraham Maslow  dan kemudian mendeskripsikan relevansi data tersebut dengan teori kebutuhan bertingkat Abraham Maslow utamanya pada bagian kebutuhan meta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa menggunakan tolok ukur sifat – sifat orang teraktualisasi terdapat 7 sifat yang tidak sesuai dengan karakter Siddhartha pada roman tersebut yang menjadi dorongan yang memotivasi Siddhartha dalam mencapai kebutuhan bertingkatnya. Adapun sifat yang menjadi dorongan tersebut di antaranya : (1) persepsi yang efisien terhadap realitas, (2) penerimaan umum atas kodrat diri sendiri dan orang lain, (3) spontanitas, kewajaran, dan kesederhanaan, (4) memusatkan diri pada masalah dan bukan pada diri sendiri, (5) apresiasi yang senantiasa segar, (6) mampu membedakan sarana dan tujuan , dan (7) hubungan interpersonal yang kuat. Sifat – sifat yang bertentangan tersebut muncul dalam bentuk ketakutan, keresahan jiwa, ketidakpuasan, amarah, dan pencarian terhadap kepuasan batin, yang oleh penulis diungkapkan melalui tindakan, pemikiran, serta penilaian tokoh lain terhadap tokoh Siddhartha. Kemudian penyebab sifat – sifat tersebut tidak muncul pada proses Siddhartha mencapai kebutuhan aktualisasi dirinya adalah adanya motivasi yang kuat untuk memperoleh kebijaksanaan dan kedamaian membuat Siddhartha melalui banyak hal dan berproses dari segala kekurangan yang dia miliki. Abstract

Language has an important function for humans to communicate. In communicating there is a speech act. According to Yule (2006: 82) speech acts are acts which displayed through speech. Speech acts divided into three types, locutions, illocution and perlocution. This research it is about illocutionary speech acts. Speech acts also happens in spoken communication (verbal) and can be shown through literary works, one of which is a drama. This research will be examined conversations between characters of the drama Kabale und Liebe by Friedrich Schiller, there are Präsident, Ferdinand, Luise, and Wurm. The drama was published in 1784 in Frankfurt.Therefore, the problem in this research are (1) how the illocution directive speech act are spoken by the characters. Then the aims of this research are (1) describe how the illocuttion directive  speech act  are spoken by the characters in drama Kabale und Liebe script by Friedrich Schiller. This research use the pragmatic illocution speech act theorie by Searle. He divided illocution speech act into five types. There are representative, directive, commissive, expressive, and declarations. The methods used in this research descriptive qualitative. And the source for this research is the drama Kabale und Liebe script by Friedrich Schiller. The data are taken from the dialog which contain speech spoken by Präsident, Ferdinant, Luise dan Wurm. Abstract

Drama has two dimensions that can be enjoyed and appreciated. There are literature dimensions and show dimension (Hassanudin in Dewojati, 2010:8). The beautiful drama built from the structure and texture. Therefore, research question posed in this research is  (1) how is the structures in drama Kabale und Liebe by Friedrich Schiller and (2) how is the texture in drama Kabale und Liebe by Friedrich Schiller. This research aimed to (1) describe the structure of drama Kabale und Liebe by Friedrich Schiller and (2) describe the texture of drama Kabale und Liebe by Friedrich Schiller. This research uses Kernodle drama structure and texture theory. Structure of drama consists of plot, character and theme, and texture consists of dialogue, mood and spectacle. This research use qualitative desciptive research. The source of this research data is the script of drama Kabale und Liebe. Technique of read notes is used to collect data in the form of dialogue, words or phrases that contain elements of structure and texture. Results of the research about structure and texture of drama Kabale und Liebe is plot the story ended tragically with the death of the main Character. Character is divided into two type, there are Hauptcharakter (main characters) namely Luise and Ferdinand and Nebencharakter (supporting characters)   namely   President,   Miller,   Frau,   Wurm,   Lady   Milford,   Hofmarshall,   Sophie   and Kammerdiener. Then the theme is a love story that ended tragically because of differences social status. Kabale und Liebe drama has 4 monologues by Luise (1), Ferdinand (3), Lady Milford (1). Mood that displayed in each round of the atmosphere is tension, but there is also an atmosphere of restlessness, sadness, emotion, annoyance, worry and regret. The Spectacle shows that this drama does not require a complicated stage setting and does not use many properties to support the storyline. Keyword: Drama, Structure, Texture.

Abstract

There are five genres in children’s literature; fictions, non-fictions, poems, folk literatures, and comics (Nurgiyantoro, 2016:30). In addition, Fiction is divided into two categories; novel and short story. Children’s story is one of the forms in the novel which contains plentiful characters. Moreover, the characters have important roles. The characters’ action is needed in order to relieve the conflict within the story. Therefore, the problem statements in this study are (1) what is the role of the giant in Der Rostige Robert und elf ungeheuerliche Ungeheuer by Thilo Petry Lassak, and (2) what is the rationale of Der Rostige Robert und elf ungeheuerliche Ungeheue by Thilo Petry Lassak. This study is aimed to (1) describe the role of the giant in Der Rostige Robert und elf ungeheuerliche Ungeheue by Thilo Petry Lassak, AND (2) to describe the rationale of Der Rostige Robert und elf ungeheuerliche Ungeheuer by Thilo Petry Lassak. The theory used in this study is called as Strukturalisme Propp. According to Propp (1968:25), there are 31 categories of purpose. Besides, there are rationales that underline the purposes. Additionally, this study adopted qualitative descriptive research design. Source of the data was collected from a book entitled Der Rostige Robert und elf ungeheuerliche Ungeheuer by Thilo Petry Lassak. The result of this study showed that the book contains 17 purposes. They are information transfer (ζ), donor (D), fulfilled deviancy (K), amorality (A), swindle (η), prohibition (γ), punishment (U), marks (J), casuistry(θ), medium (B), departure (↑), marriage (W), review (ε), combat (H), triumph (I), seeker (Pr), and manifestation (T). Correspondingly, 8 rationales are found; rationale of deviancy, rationale of amorality, rationale of acceptance sense, rationale of avarice, rationale of amorality , rationale of conquest, rationale of partnership,  rationale of amorality. The framework of the story obtained its own plot and forms a small story based on 17 purposes and 8 rationales. Keywords: role, rationale, giant.

Abstract

Literatur is an expression of the author’s feelings about what he experienced and also about the picture of the reality of people’s lives around the author. The short story of “Tödlicher Schnee” by Felix and Theo are among the short story that tell about crime. The research on criminality in short story “Tödlicher Schnee” by Felix and Theo refers to two problems : what criminal acts exist in the short story “Tödlicher Schnee” by Felix and Theo. Based on the formulation of the problem it can be cocluded that the purpose of this research is to describe the criminal acts that exist in the short story “Tödlicher Schnee” by Felix and Theo and also describe the motive of causing crime in the short story “Tödlicher Schnee” by Felix and Theo. The type of research ist qualitative research. Sources of data used are short story “Tödlicher Schnee” by Felix and Theo. The data in this study are words and phrases of conversation quotations in the short story “Tödlicher Schnee” by Felix and Theo. The results of this study reveal that (1) the criminal acts that exist in the short story “Tödlicher Schnee” by Felix and Theo is murder, extortion, terror and murder (abortion); (2) the motive of crime in the short story “Tödlicher Schnee” by Felix and Theo is an aggressive crime of revenge and hated. Abstract

According to Nurgiyantoro (2005: 200), folktale serves as both a means of entertainment and to pass on the values ??that are believed as truth by the people of the time. Although in recent times folktales have been heavily modified, the characters? actions in the folktale remains unchanged. In narrative structure, a folktale is divided into several sections, however it does not mean that the tale is separated, as it refers to the entirety of the meaning (Endraswara, 2009: 112). Therefore, the research problems in this study are (1) what narrative functions are included in die zertanzten Schuhe by Brüder Grimm, and (2) what spheres of action are included in die zertanzten Schuhe by Brüder Grimm. The objectives of this study are (1) to describe the narrative functions included in die zertanzten Schuhe by Brüder Grimm, and (2) to describe the sphere of action included in die zertanzten Schuhe by Brüder Grimm. This study used the narrative structure theory of Vladimir Yakovlevich Propp. The approach used in this study is descriptive qualitative approach. The sources of data in this study is an electronic book (e-book) which contains a compilation of Brüder Grimm collection tales. While the data in this research is sentences that show the narrative function and sphere of action. Based on the results and discussion on narrative structures in Die zertanzten Schuhe by Brüder Grimm there are 17 functions found and those are difficult task (M), lack(a), ?the first function of the donor? (D), interdiction (?), provision or receipt of magical agent (F) ?heros reaction (E), ?departure? (?), ?transfiguration? (T), trickery? (?), ?mediation, the connective incident? (B), ?the initial misfortune or lack is liquated? (K), ?reconnaissance? (?), ?branding? (J), ?return (?), solution (N), wedding (W), and ?punishment? (U). From those functions, there are six spheres of actions that were found 6 in die zertanzten Schuhe by Brüder Grimm, namely hero, helper, donor, villain, princess and her father, and dispatcher. Abstract

Der Zweite Weltkrieg ist im frühen 20. Jahrhundert in enger Verbindung mit der Nazi (Nationalsozialistischen Deutschen Arbeiterpartei oder NSDAP) unter Adolf Hitler. Jedoch gab es weinige kleine Gruppe, die den Nazi mutig gegen war. Einer von ihnen war die weiße Rose, die von Sophie Scholl, Hans Scholl und ihre Freundinen gegner wurde. Aber die weiße Rose haben von den Nazis erfolgreich aufgelöst. Von diesem Hintergrund sind die Formulierung der Untersuchungsproblem; 1) Wie die Formen der Nazi-Hegemonie im Drehbuch Sophie Scholl - Die letzten Tage? 2) Wie die Formen der Gegenhegemonie im Drehbuch Sophie Scholl - Die letzten Tage? Diese Untersuchung will die Form der Nazi-Hegemonie und Gegenhegemonie von dem Drechbuch Sophie Scholl - Die letzten Tage mit der Hegemonietheorie von Antonio Gramsci beschreiben. Diese Untersuchung benutzt deskriptive qualitative Untersuchung mit Dokumentationstechniken. Datenquellen in dieser Untersuchung ist der Film Sophie Scholl - Die letzten Tage von Regisseur Marc Rothemund. Die Daten sind Drehbuch, in dem es Dialoge und Aktionen der Charakter gibt in denen Dialoge und Aktionen der Charakter die Form der Nazi-Hegemonie Gegenhegemonie. Die Ergebnisse dieser Untersuchung; 1) Die Form der Nazi-Hegemonie sind repressive Hegemonie, Ideologie, traditionellen Intellektuellen und Staat. 2) Die Form des Gegenhegemonie wie sind anti Nazi der Druck der Flugblätter, anti Nazi die Teilung der Flugblätter, die Streichung des Nazi-Symbol, und gegen das Gesetz. Abstract

Man kennt schon viele Filme, die aus literarischen Werken stammen. Dieser Transformationsprozess nennts man Ecranisation. Wegen dieses Prozesses gibt es Unterschiede zwischen der Novelle und dem Film. Die Unterschiede können als subtractions, additions oder variations auftauchen. Die Ereignisse in der Novelle werden geändert, wenn sie in den Film verwechselt werden. Es passiert auch im Transformationsprozess der Novelle Dschungelkind von Sabine Kuegler in den Film mit dem gleichen Titel von Roland Suso Richter, besonders in den inneren Elementen, beispielsweise in Ereignisse und Handlung. Die Handlung in den literarischen Werken spielt eine große Rolle. In dieser Studie wird folgende diskutiert: die Arten der Handlung in der Novelle und im Film Dschulgelkind. Hier werden alle Handlungen in der Novelle und im Film analysiert, und deshalb ist herauszufinden, dass es Ähnlichkeiten und Unterschiede gibt. Dieser Prozess führt zu einem Ergebniss, dass der Art der Handlung in beiden Werken progressiv ist. Aber trotzdem gibt es einen Unterschied : der Spitzenkonflikt ist anders. In der Novelle erscheint der Spitzenkonflikt in Sabines Kulturschock, aber im Film erscheint der Spitzenkonflikt in dem Ereignis, wo Sabine und Auri (ein Junge aus Fayu Stamm) in sich verlieben.
