Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the influence of interactive learning methods on the faith development of children in Sunday School at GBI Kota Raja Siantan, North Pontianak, Pontianak City. Christian faith education from an early age is a crucial part of shaping a child's character and spirituality. The interactive method was chosen because it encourages active participation, understanding, and comprehensive spiritual experience. This method includes the use of visual media, games, Bible dramas, and small group discussions in delivering spiritual materials. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and questionnaires given to 10 Sunday School children. The results showed that most children responded positively to the application of interactive methods, with 90% expressing enthusiasm for learning activities involving visual aids, and 80% reporting better understanding of biblical values through stories and games. The analysis using the Guttman scale indicated a very strong influence of this method on the growth of children's faith. Thus, interactive learning methods are proven to be effective in providing children with a more meaningful spiritual learning experience. These findings recommend that churches and Sunday School teachers continue to develop relevant, creative, and contextual learning strategies to shape a generation of children growing in faith and knowledge of God.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to identify the relationship between the use of instructional media and the learning interest of 7th-grade students at SMP Swasta Pelita Harapan Pontianak. Instructional media plays a crucial role in creating an effective, creative, and enjoyable learning atmosphere. In the teaching-learning process, teachers are responsible for implementing strategies and media that can boost student engagement and interest in the subject matter. This study employed a quantitative descriptive method. The sample consisted of 41 students drawn from the 7th-grade population. Data collection techniques included questionnaires, observations, and interviews. Data analysis used a semantic differential scale to measure students' responses based on five key indicators related to media and learning interest. The results showed that most students responded positively to the use of instructional media. Questionnaire results indicated a strong correlation between the application of instructional media and increased student learning interest. Media such as visual and audiovisual tools were effective in stimulating students' senses, making learning materials easier to understand and retain. The study concludes that the proper use of instructional media can significantly improve students’ interest in learning. Therefore, it is recommended that teachers continually develop creative ways to choose and implement media appropriate to students’ developmental levels and educational needs.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to examine the influence of implementing the Independent Learning Curriculum (Kurikulum Merdeka) with a character education approach based on Christian values on the learning motivation of first-grade students at SD Pelita Harapan Pontianak. The background of this research is rooted in the importance of integrating moral and spiritual values into the learning process to shape students with strong faith, noble character, and high learning enthusiasm. The research method used is a quantitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The research sample consisted of 31 first-grade students at SD Pelita Harapan Pontianak Barat. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the Independent Learning Curriculum emphasizing character education based on Christian values positively impacts students' learning motivation. Questionnaire data revealed that most students feel happy, motivated, and more interested in attending lessons when Christian values are incorporated into the learning process. The overall percentage score falls into the “fairly good” category with a percentage of 62.85%, indicating that this curriculum implementation is effective in enhancing students' learning motivation, although there is still room for improvement in strengthening teaching methods. This research recommends that teachers continuously integrate Christian values consistently within the learning process and serve as role models for students in daily behavior. The findings are expected to serve as a reference for developing learning strategies at SD Pelita Harapan and other schools implementing similar curricula, particularly in efforts to increase student motivation and holistically shape their character.

Abstract

Seiring dengan pesatnya perkembangan volume, kecepatan, dan variasi data yang dikenal sebagai Big Data, kebutuhan akan sistem pengelolaan data yang efisien dan skalabel menjadi sangat krusial bagi organisasi (Rajadnye, 2017). (Theofilou et al., 2025) Fenomena ini telah memicu pergeseran paradigma dari arsitektur data warehouse tradisional menuju solusi berbasis cloud yang lebih adaptif dan fleksibel dalam mengakomodasi tuntutan analitik modern (Berisha et al., 2022). Transformasi ini tidak hanya mencakup adopsi infrastruktur awan, tetapi juga integrasi teknologi baru seperti danau data (data lakes) dan danau data terpadu (data lakehouses) yang memungkinkan pengelolaan data semi-terstruktur dan tidak terstruktur secara lebih efektif (Ponnusamy, 2023). Perubahan ini sangat penting untuk mendukung pengambilan keputusan strategis yang didorong oleh data, mengingat data warehouse sendiri dirancang untuk mengintegrasikan dan menyajikan data guna keperluan analisis dan pelaporan (Saputra, 2023).

Abstract

Abstract:This study aims to determine the relationship between creative teaching and students’ learning interest at SDS Abdi Agung Simpang Hulu, Ketapang Regency. The method used in this study is descriptive quantitative method. The population of this study consisted of 65 students. The sample was taken using simple random sampling technique involving Christian students who are fluent in reading in grades III-VI. The results showed that the creative teaching used by Christian Religious Education teachers in improving students’ learning interest through creative learning media and the use of learning methods was considered quite effective in helping to increase students’ interest and enthusiasm in learning.*terjemahan bahasa Indonesia Keywords:Creative Learning, Learning Interest Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan antara Pembelajaran kreatif dengan minat belajar siswa di SDS Abdi Agung Simpang Hulu Kabupaten Ketapang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 65 orang siswa. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of implementing the Merdeka Curriculum on improving students' literacy skills in Christian Religious Education at SDN 71 West Pontianak. Literacy skills are one of the important competencies that need to be developed in the learning process to enhance students' ability to understand, analyze, and communicate information effectively. The Merdeka Curriculum serves as a student-centered learning approach that provides flexibility in developing competencies and character. This study uses a quantitative method with a survey approach.The population consists of 27 students from grades I, II, III, IV, V, and VI who take Christian Religious Education at SDN 71 West Pontianak, while the sample consists of 12 students from grades I, II, and IV. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires, observations, and documentation to determine the effect of the Merdeka Curriculum variable on students' literacy skills. The results show that the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum has a positive and significant effect on students' literacy skills in Christian Religious Education at SDN 71 West Pontianak. This is evidenced by the improvement in students' ability to understand texts, identify important information, think critically, and express ideas both orally and in writing. Thus, the Merdeka Curriculum can be an effective strategy for improving students' literacy skills through Christian Religious Education. Kemampuan literasi merupakan salah satu kompetensi penting yang perlu dikembangkan dalam proses pembelajaran guna meningkatkan kemampuan peserta didik dalam memahami, menganalisis, dan mengomunikasikan informasi secara efektif. Kurikulum Merdeka hadir sebagai pendekatan pembelajaran yang berpusat pada peserta didik dengan memberikan keleluasaan dalam pengembangan kompetensi dan karakter. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei. Populasi berjumlah 27 siswa kelas I, II, III, IV, V, VI penelitian adalah seluruh siswa yang mengikuti mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen di SDN 71 Pontianak Barat, sedangkan sampel yaitu berjumlah 12 siswa kelas I, II, IV Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket, observasi, dan dokumentasi. untuk mengetahui pengaruh variabel Kurikulum Merdeka terhadap kemampuan literasi siswa.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kemampuan literasi siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen di SDN 71 Pontianak Barat. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh peningkatan kemampuan siswa dalam memahami teks, mengidentifikasi informasi penting, berpikir kritis, serta mengungkapkan gagasan secara lisan maupun tulisan. Dengan demikian, Kurikulum Merdeka dapat menjadi salah satu strategi yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi siswa melalui pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of implementing innovative learning strategies on students' motivation in Christian Religious Education at SDN 71 Pontianak Barat. This study employed a quantitative research approach. The population consisted of 27 students from Grades I, II, III, IV, V, and VI, while the sample comprised 15 students from Grades III, V, and VI. The results of the study revealed that the implementation of innovative learning strategies has a positive and significant effect on students' learning motivation in Christian Religious Education. The better the implementation of innovative learning strategies by teachers, the higher the students' learning motivation. Learning strategies that encourage active student participation, utilize engaging instructional media, and apply creative teaching approaches have been proven to increase students' interest and enthusiasm for learning. Keywords: Innovative Learning Strategies, Learning Motivation Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Penerapan Strategi Pembelajaran Inovatif terhadap Motivasi belajar Pendidikan Agama Kristen siswa di SDN 71 Pontianak Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Dalam penelitian ini populasi berjumlah 27 Siswa kelas I, II, III, IV, V, VI dan yang dijadikan sampel yaitu kelas III, V, VI dengan jumlah 15 Siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan strategi pembelajaran inovatif memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar Pendidikan Agama Kristen Siswa. Semakin baik penerapan Strategi Pembelajaran Inovatif oleh guru, semakin tinggi pula motivasi belajar yang ditunjukkan oleh siswa. Strategi pembelajaran yang melibatkan keaktifan siswa, penggunaan media pembelajaran yang menarik, serta pendekatan pembelajaran yang kreatif terbukti mampu meningkatkan minat dan semangat belajar siswa. Abstract

Abstrak: Pendidikan Agama Kristen (PAK) bertujuan membentuk karakter dan iman peserta didik secara holistik, namun proses pembelajarannya kerap terkendala oleh rendahnya minat belajar siswa akibat penerapan metode yang monoton dan kurang bervariasi. Musik rohani, sebagai salah satu bentuk media pembelajaran yang sarat nilai teologis, dipandang berpotensi menciptakan suasana belajar yang kondusif dan bermakna. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan musik rohani sebagai media pembelajaran terhadap minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen di SMP Pelita Harapan Pontianak. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan populasi 103 siswa, dan sampel sebanyak 51 siswa (13 siswa kelas VII, 22 siswa kelas VIII, dan 16 siswa kelas IX) yang dipilih melalui teknik Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling berdasarkan rumus Slovin. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket berskala Likert 30 butir yang mencakup Variabel X (penggunaan musik rohani) dan Variabel Y (minat belajar siswa), dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Variabel X memperoleh rata-rata respons positif sebesar 88,23% dan Variabel Y sebesar 87,80%, yang keduanya berada pada kategori Sangat Tinggi. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa penggunaan musik rohani berpengaruh positif terhadap minat belajar siswa. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar guru PAK mengintegrasikan musik rohani secara terencana dalam pembelajaran guna meningkatkan keterlibatan, pemahaman, dan pertumbuhan spiritual siswa. Abstract

The study is grounded in the need for engaging instructional methods to enhance students’ learning interest, particularly in Christian Religious Education (CRE) at the elementary level. One such method is storytelling, which conveys content through compelling and meaningful narratives to increase student engagement during the learning process. This research aimed to examine the relationship between the storytelling method and second-grade students’ learning interest in CRE at Pelita Harapan Elementary School, Pontianak. A quantitative approach with a correlational design was employed. The population consisted of all 31 second-grade students at the school. A saturated sampling technique was used, with the entire population serving as the research sample. Data were collected using questionnaires developed from indicators of the storytelling method and student learning interest. The findings indicate a positive relationship between the storytelling method and students’ learning interest in CRE. Implementing storytelling created a more engaging learning experience, facilitated students’ comprehension of the material, and increased their attention and participation during instruction. In conclusion, the storytelling method is positively associated with second-grade students’ learning interest in CRE at Pelita Harapan Elementary School, Pontianak. Thus, storytelling can serve as an effective alternative instructional strategy for enhancing students’ learning interest in Christian Religious Education. Keywords: storytelling method, learning interest, Christian Religious Education, elementary school students Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh pentingnya penggunaan metode pembelajaran yang menarik untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa, khususnya dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen (PAK) di sekolah dasar. Salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan adalah metode storytelling (bercerita), yaitu metode pembelajaran yang menyampaikan materi melalui cerita yang menarik dan bermakna sehingga dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam proses belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara metode storytelling dengan minat belajar Pendidikan Agama Kristen siswa kelas II di SD Pelita Harapan Pontianak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas II SD Pelita Harapan Pontianak yang berjumlah 31 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh, sehingga seluruh anggota populasi dijadikan sebagai sampel penelitian. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran angket yang disusun berdasarkan indikator metode storytelling dan minat belajar siswa. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik statistik korelasi untuk mengetahui tingkat hubungan antara kedua variabel penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara metode storytelling dengan minat belajar Pendidikan Agama Kristen siswa kelas II di SD Pelita Harapan Pontianak. Penerapan metode storytelling memberikan pengalaman belajar yang lebih menarik, membantu siswa memahami materi pembelajaran dengan lebih mudah, serta meningkatkan perhatian dan keterlibatan siswa selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Semakin baik penerapan metode storytelling, maka semakin tinggi pula minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode storytelling memiliki hubungan yang positif terhadap minat belajar Pendidikan Agama Kristen siswa kelas II di SD Pelita Harapan Pontianak. Oleh karena itu, metode storytelling dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu alternatif strategi pembelajaran yang efektif untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen. Abstract

Abstract This study aims to describe the implementation of Christian love values in Christian Religious Education learning and to analyze their role in developing the character of ninth-grade students at SMP Pelita Harapan Pontianak Barat, Pontianak City. The study was motivated by the importance of character education amid various moral challenges faced by students. Love, as the central value of Christian teaching, is considered an essential foundation for developing students who demonstrate honesty, discipline, responsibility, respect, empathy, and social concern.This research employed a quantitative descriptive approach. The population consisted of all ninth-grade students, while the sample included thirty-two students selected according to the research sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, documentation, and interviews as supporting information. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques.The findings indicate that the implementation of Christian love values has been carried out effectively through teachers' role modeling, positive habituation, student mentoring, and the creation of a supportive learning environment. These practices positively influence students' character development, particularly in discipline, responsibility, cooperation, honesty, empathy, and mutual respect. Supporting factors include teacher competence, school commitment, parental involvement, and a conducive educational environment.The study concludes that implementing Christian love values in Christian Religious Education significantly contributes to students' character development. Therefore, these values should continue to be integrated into educational practices to strengthen character education in schools.
