Abstract

Abstract: This study aims at discussing the understanding and definition of analogy reasoning ability including the example of how analogy reasoning ability is formulated in the form of analogy reasoning components and its indicators. This study was a qualitative design research. The data obtained in this study was collected from Mathematic assignment exercise sheets. The source of the data was obtained from think alouds, transcribed interview, and video during assignment completion and interview. The data obtained, then, were analyzed using interactive qualitative analysis technique. The result of this study was examined and described qualitatively. In accordance with the theoretical framework established, the results of this study are described in three groups classification which possess different characteristics such as internal structurization, connective external structurization, and extension external structurization.Key Words: competence of reasoning, analogy reasoning, algebra problem Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membahas pengertian dan definisi kemampuan penalaran analogi disertai dengan contoh bagaimana kompetensi penalaran analogi tersebut dirumuskan dalam bentuk komponen-komponen penalaran analogi serta indikatornya. Jenis penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kualitatif. Data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini berasal dari data hasil lembar tugas matematika. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini berasal dari hasil thinks alouds, wawancara yang ditranskripkan, dan video selama subjek mengerjakan lembar tugas serta wawancara. Data yang telah terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis kualitatif dengan model teknik analisis interaktif. Hasil penelitian ini dikaji dan dideskripsikan secara kualitatif. Berdasarkan kerangka teori yang dibangun, hasil penelitian ini dipaparkan dalam tiga kelompok yang memiliki karakteristik berbeda yaitu penstrukturan internal, penstrukturan eksternal konektif, dan penstrukturan eksternal ekstensi.Kata kunci: kemampuan penalaran, penalaran analogi, masalah aljabar

Abstract

Abstract: This study attempted to develop and know the effectiveness of PBL module for biotechnology concepts intended for high school students. Brog and Gall model was referred as the framework to develop the product. It comprises some stages, namely, analyzing potential and problems, collecting information, developing the module’s initial design, validating the design, revising the design, and trying out the product. The appointed experts in product development and learning as well as high school biology teachers in Biology Teachers’ Association (MGMP) validated the product. The validation showed that the product is practical and valid to be used. The module is also effective for learning, as evidenced by the PBL activities reaching “high” category and by the improvement of the students’ cognitive domain represented in the improvement of the initial average score.Key Words:  problem-based learning module, cognitive learning outcomes, biotechnology conceptsAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengetahui efektivitas modul pembelajaran berbasis masalah untuk SMA pada konsep Bioteknologi. Model pengembangan merujuk dari Brog dan Gall. Tahapan pengembangan terdiri atas analisis potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan informasi, penyusunan desain awal modul, validasi desain, revisi desain, dan ujicoba produk. Validasi produk dilakukan oleh Pakar Pengembangan, Pembelajaran dan guru Biologi SMA melalui kegiatan Musyarawah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) Biologi. Hasil penilaian pakar menunjukkan bahwa modul yang dikembangkan valid dan praktis untuk digunakan. Modul ini juga efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran, aktivitas PBL mencapai kategori “tinggi”, serta meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik.Kata kunci:  modul pembelajaran berbasis masalah, hasil belajar kognitif, konsep bioteknologi

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study were: (1) to know the  differences of learning achievment on the  molecular shape subject between the students who  taught by inquiry learning and verification (2) to know the  differences betwen the high spatial ability to the students learning achievement in the molecular shape topic (3) to know the interaction between the  inquiry learning and verification teaching with the students’ spatial ability. The results showed that: (1) there were differences in learning achievment of students who were taught by inquiry learning and verification. The students’ learning achievment of students who were taught by inquiry learning better than students who were taught by verification (2) there were differences between in learning outcomes of students with high spatial and students with low spatial, students who have high spatial performance is better than low spatial ability students the high spatial ability to the students learning achievement in the molecular shape topic (3) there were not  interaction between  inquiry learning and verification methods  with the students’ spatial ability.Key Words: inquiry learning, visibility space, learning achievment   Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) mengetahui apakah ada perbedaan hasil belajar pada pokok bahasan bentuk molekul antara siswa yang diajar dengan pendekatan inkuiri terbimbing dan pendekatan verifikasi (2) mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan antara kemampuan kemampuan pandang ruang tinggi dan rendah terhadap hasil belajar siswa (3). mengetahui apakah terdapat interaksi antara cara pengajaran Inkuiri terbimbing dan verifikasi dengan kemampuan pandang ruang siswa.. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) ada perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan cara inkuiri terbimbing dan verifikasi. Hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan cara inkuiri terbimbing lebih baik dibanding dengan siswa yang diajar dengan cara verifikasi (2) ada perbedaan kemampuan pandang ruang tinggi dan rendah terhadap prestasi belajar kimia pada bentuk molekul, hasil belajar kimia dipengaruhi oleh kemampuan pandang ruang siswa (3) tidak ada interaksi antara metode pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dan verifikasi dengan kemampuan pandang ruang siswa.Kata kunci: pendekatan inkuiri terbimbing, kemampuan pandang ruang, hasil belajar

Abstract

Abstracts: The objective of this study is to develop an android-based mobile learning media for Cell Structure and Function lesson subject in compliance with ADDIE development mode. The developed mobile learning takes in general explanation, learning objective, animal and plant cells material explanation complemented with activities and cell exploration clip, evaluation questions, dictionary, and technical guidance. In addition, the reviews of media expert, material expert, and academicians have shown that the developed media is valid. Also, the response of students has proven that the practicality rate of the developed media is 84.65%-100% and the classical pass of Abstrl cognitive tests upon learning by way of the developed media is equal to 84.61%.Key Words: learning media, mobile learning, android system, cellAbstrak: Tujuan penelitian adalah mengembangkan media mobile learning berbasis android pada pembelajaran Struktur dan Fungsi Sel yang mengacu pada model pengembangan ADDIE. Mobile learning yang dikembangkan terdiri dari penjelasan umum, tujuan pembelajaran, pemaparan materi sel hewan dan tumbuhan yang dilengkapi aktivitas dan video jelajah sel, soal evaluasi, kamus, dan petunjuk penggunaan. Penilaian ahli media, ahli materi, dan praktisi pendidikan menunjukkan bahwa media yang dikembangkan valid. Tanggapan siswa menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kepraktisan media hasil pengem-bangan sebesar 84,65%-100% dan ketuntasan klasikal tes kognitif setelah pembelajaran menggunakan media yang dikembangkan sebesar 84,61%. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to develop a learning package covering a topic on cells and tissues on the basis of guided-inquiry learning model and integration of local knowledge. The package manifests in a syllabus, lesson plans, and a module. The developmental model proposed by Dick and Carey (2009) was employed and adapted in the study. The instructional testing was carried out through three stages, namely, expert appraisal, small group test and main field test. The results of the study showed that the research produced a learning package with high validity, practicality, and efficacy. It was evidenced by the results of expert validation and developmental testing that reached 88.42% indicating high validity. With regard to its efficacy and utility in Biology learning, the gain score reached 0.78 attesting its merits. Key Words: learning package, cells, and tissues, guided-inquiry, local potential Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran materi sel dan jaringan dengan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berbasis potensi lokal dengan hasil berupa silabus, RPP, dan modul. Model pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran dalam penelitian ini diadaptasi dari model pengambangan Dick and Carey (2009. Uji coba dilakukan tiga tahap yaitu (1) uji coba/validasi ahli; (2) uji coba (keterbacaan) kelompok kecil; dan (3) uji coba lapangan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pengembangan, perangkat pembelajaran materi sel dan jaringan yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi kualitas sangat valid, praktis, dan memiliki tingkat keefektifan tinggi. Hasil yang didapatkan dari uji validasi/ahli dan uji coba diperoleh nilai lebih dari 88,42% yang menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran sangat valid untuk digunakan dan gain score dari tes hasil belajar diperoleh nilai sebesar 0,78 yang berarti bahwa perangkat pembelajaran telah efektif digunakan pada pembelajaran.
