Abstract

Indonesia is a tropical country with two types of seasons, namely dry and rainy. Seasons greatly influence the development of salt which has an impact on Indonesian agriculture, especially salt farmers. Salt is an agricultural product that is prone to problems due to heavy rain. Therefore, salt must be produced electrically, which is independent of climate. This research aims to solve this problem with a fuzzy temperature control system on an electric salt producing machine using an ATmega 8535 microcontroller. Based on testing, the mist system can regulate the temperature between 59°C to 62°C. The process of making electronic salt takes 8 hours to turn into salt and the initial weight is 1000 grams to 561 grams. The electronic salt production process can shorten 64 hours compared to natural salt.

Abstract

Air minum merupakan kebutuhan utama yang ha rus memenuhi standar kualitas aga r aman dikonsumsi. Namun, berbagai laporan menunjukkan bahwa air minum kemasan maupun isi ulang masih ada yang belum sesuai dengan ketentuan Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan Republik Indonesia Nomor 2 Tahun 2023. Permasalahan yang sering dijumpai meliputi nilai pH yang berada di lua r rentang 6,5–8,5 serta tingkat kekeruhan yang melebihi 5 NTU, sehingga berpotensi menimbulkan risiko kesehatan akibat adanya kontaminan berbahaya. Oleh ka rena itu, penelitian ini mengembangkan sistem deteksi kualitas air minum menggunakan sensor pH PH-4502C dan sensor kekeruhan SEN-0175 yang dikontrol oleh mikrokontroler ESP32. Sistem ini dilengkapi dengan LCD untuk menampilkan hasil pengukuran seca ra langsung. Data yang diperoleh diolah untuk menampilkan nilai pH, kekeruhan, serta status kelayakan air minum. Diha rapkan sistem ini dapat menjadi solusi pemantauan kualitas air yang praktis, cepat, dan akurat serta meningkatkan kesadaran masya rakat terhadap pentingnya konsumsi air minum yang aman.

Abstract

The purpose of making this Final Project is to make an Employee Self Service Application at PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Sumatera Selatan and Bangka Belitung Website Based. The data collection method used is primary data in the form of observations and interviews, and secondary data in the form of literature, books, articles, theories, papers and other references related to the material for preparing this practical work report. The development of this application uses the PHP programming language, Sublime Text, Xampp and MySQL database. The system development model applied to this application is the waterfall model which provides a sequential or sequential software life-flow approach starting from analysis, design, coding, testing and maintenance. This application contains a menu of user data, absence data, login data, salary data, and employee leave data.

Abstract

Lampu penerangan jalan memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan kenyamanan, keamanan, dan keselamatan di jalan raya. Selain membantu pengguna jalan melihat dengan jelas pada malam hari, lampu ini juga mengurangi risiko kecelakaan dan kriminalitas. Namun, lampu penerangan konvensional memiliki kelemahan seperti konsumsi energi tinggi dan umur pendek. Sebagai solusi, teknologi lampu LED yang hemat energi, tahan lama, dan lebih stabil kini digunakan. Teknologi pintar, seperti sistem kontrol otomatis dan sensor gerak, juga diterapkan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi energi. Tantangan implementasi meliputi biaya instalasi, pemeliharaan, dan penyediaan listrik di daerah terpencil. Energi terbarukan, seperti tenaga surya, menjadi alternatif yang menjanjikan. Dengan inovasi ini, lampu penerangan jalan tidak hanya menjadi alat penerang, tetapi juga bagian dari infrastruktur cerdas yang mendukung kota modern yang aman, efisien, dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The quality of electrical energy received by customers is influenced by the distribution system. It requires an electric power distribution system with good reliability. An electric power distribution system can be said to be reliable if the disturbances and blackouts that occur within a certain period of time are below the established reliability index numbers. The measure of the reliability of a system can be expressed by calculating the SAIFI (System Average Interruption Frequency Index) and SAIDI (System Average Interruption Duration Index), namely how often the system experiences blackouts and how long the outages occur within a certain time span, namely one year. This study aims to analyze the reliability of the electric power distribution system at PT. PLN ULP Dharmo Permai is based on the SAIDI and SAIFI reliability index by using distribution disruption data that occurred during 2019. The steps taken by the author are collecting disturbance data, blackout data, and customer data obtained at PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Dharmo Permai. Then the results of these calculations are compared with the values according to the SPLN 68-2: 1986 and IEEE std 1366-2003 standards. At the ULP Dharmo Permai the Saidi and Saifi values are very good because they do not exceed the limits specified by SPLN 68-2: 1986 and IEEE std 1366 - 2003.

Abstract

The culinary business is always available in every region both on a small and large scale. The culinary industry based on food and beverages is said to be a business with high potential. In this study using qualitative research methods. Qualitative research is descriptive research and tends to use analysis. Process and meaning (subject perspective) are more highlighted in qualitative research. The theoretical foundation is used as a guide so that the focus of the research is in accordance with the facts in the field. In addition, this theoretical basis is also useful for providing an overview of the research background and as a discussion of research results. There is a fundamental difference between the role of the theoretical basis in quantitative research and qualitative research. In quantitative research, research departs from theoretical data, and ends in acceptance or rejection of the theory used while in qualitative research the researcher departs from the data, utilizes existing theory as explanatory material, and ends with a "theory" The results showed that this information system can be used as a guide to relate to recording goods services to customers and the existence of a system in the warehouse can help to ease the performance of recording employee data, recording customer data, the number of stock items, the number of transactions that can be viewed by date and can make it easier for employees to make recording reports.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas desain dan optimasi sistem photovoltaic (PV) untuk mengoperasikan pompa air dengan daya 350 W selama 12 jam per hari, mulai pukul 08.00 hingga 20.00. Sistem dilengkapi dengan baterai Valve Regulated Lead Acid (VRLA), solar charge controller (SCC), dan inverter pure sine wave. Penelitian ini menentukan ukuran panel PV sekitar 1050 Wp dan kapasitas baterai sekitar 100 Ah pada tegangan 48 V, berdasarkan perhitungan energi harian dan efisiensi sistem. Metodologi mencakup analisis tinjauan pustaka, perhitungan matematis, dan simulasi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini dapat beroperasi secara optimal dengan mempertimbangkan irradiasi matahari rata-rata di Indonesia. Kesimpulan menekankan pentingnya sizing yang tepat untuk efisiensi dan keberlanjutan.

Abstract

Feeding fish belongs to a vital matter in fish cultivation. Unfortunately, many people are still carrying out it manually and more rely on the man power. For this reason, the researcher developed a device for automatic fish feeding based on time. Thus, this tool is intended for assisting human work in feeding fish by using Arduino uno as the control centre of system, solenoide as the opener-closer of food place, load cell sensor as the ballast to weigh food in the place, and real time clock IC DS1307 as the feeding time regulator. The time and date were displayed on LCD 16×4. The results of research yielded the schedule for feeding fish three times a day set by RTC as the system timer in WIBs (Waktu Indonesia Barat or West Indonesian Time i.e. at 06.00 WIB, 12.00 WIB, and 18.00 WIB. This schedule system arranged automatic fish feeding for 4 days, 3 times per day. Within 4 days, the system could feed the fish 10 times successful and twice failed. These failures occurred due to RTC errors in reading the time on the day 4. Thus, the system could feed fish having maximum 5 grams food weight based on the schedule that had been set. This system is expected to be beneficial for fish feeding process. In conclusion, based on the feeding schedule three times a day for 4 days, 10 out of 12 trials or 83% were successful, while 2 trials or 41.5% were unsuccessful. Accordingly, the fish feeding tool was fruitful and applicable for fish aquarium.

Abstract

The lighting conditions in Detention Centers or Correctional Institutions in East Java generally still use fixed lighting, which relies on spotlights or LEDs that are directed in one particular direction. Of course, in this case it also has a drawback which requires more than one lamp to monitor the situation in it. Using automation is certainly an advantage where lighting does not require installation at many points, it also makes supervision with lighting lamps more efficient. Servo motors are functioned as actuators or prime movers because they have characteristics and work functions that can support this automation system. With characteristics that do not require large input power to produce large power, using DC voltage input, and reliable angle accuracy, this servo motor is in accordance with the modeling criteria to be designed. In its design, using Arduino Uno hardware which is used as a control system with the Atmega 328P microcontroller type which has 4 output ports, each of which has 8 pins.

Abstract

The growth and development of the city of Surabaya are definitely closely related to population growth and an increase in the number of immigrants, which increases the number of motorized vehicles on the road. However, since the number of motorized vehicles has expanded faster than the capacity of the roads, traffic congestion has resulted. Congestion monitoring is designed to provide traffic density data to road users so that they can choose the best route to take at the appropriate time. This study describes a four-way junction with infrared sensors in each of the paths. As a vehicle detector, this infrared sensor is utilized. Tests on the prototype were conducted under a variety of typical traffic circumstances. This study makes use of an IoT prototype that is designed to be connected to the internet network so that users can view real-time traffic data from a distance. Firebase and an Android app are two of the informational tools utilized in this study. The study's findings suggest that the prototype can function effectively. The applied infrared sensor can operate at optimal efficiency at 1 cm - 4,5 cm and can precisely identify vehicles.
