Abstract

The influence of religion is significant in various dimensions of human existence, particularly in economic contexts. Religious teachings frequently provide a framework for believers, influencing their pursuit of a successful and fulfilling life. In this context, Islamic religious counselors possess significant potential to empower communities, especially by aiding small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in navigating the halal certification process. This study seeks to (1) determine the function of Islamic religious counselors in supporting MSMEs in Pangkalpinang during the halal certification process; (2) analyze the obstacles encountered in the assistance process; and (3) develop strategies to enhance the effectiveness of halal certification support for MSMEs. This research utilizes a qualitative methodology, specifically a case study approach, incorporating interviews with Islamic religious counselors in Pangkalpinang City. The findings indicate that Islamic religious counselors play a crucial role as facilitators, educators, and motivators within the halal certification process. Nonetheless, the effectiveness of the guidance encounters obstacles, including a limited number of counselors, varying levels of technical understanding among SMEs, and inadequate resource support. This study identifies the necessity for ongoing training for Islamic religious counselors, promotes enhanced collaboration across sectors (including local government, BPJPH, and halal certification support institutions), and advocates for comprehensive halal awareness and literacy campaigns targeted at SMEs. The proposed enhancements aim to streamline the halal certification process, thereby increasing accessibility and bolstering the competitiveness of sharia-based SMEs on both local and national scales.

And in its history, the Wakaf institution has made a significant contribution to the social, economic, and cultural well-being of Islam. Wakaf is also one of the possible solutions to the need for funds to address so many problems of the people individually as well as the Islamic institutions.

Abstract

Islam positions consumption activities as one of the important aspects to obtain glory (falah) so that it needs to be controlled so that it runs in rhythm with Islamic teachings. The phenomenon of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) sharing consumptive behavior, and hedonistic lifestyle on social media, has caused public criticism. The demand for simplicity of the State Civil Apparatus must be highlighted in front of the public, because basically the income of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) is paid by state taxes, the value of the income of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) is stable, so in this case financial knowledge plays an important role in the management of consumption patterns according to sharia principles. The credibility of the profession must be maintained by an ASN because his profession is vulnerable to social sanctions, so service performance and performance to the public are the main thing. One of the factors affects the consumption pattern of a person's level of religiosity, then lifestyle and financial knowledge. This study looks at the influence of financial knowledge, lifestyle and religiosity on the consumption patterns of the Civil Apparatus of the Bangka Regency Government. This study uses inferential quantitative statistical testing, namely the reciprocal relationships between different research variables and causality in a study, using a sample of 160 respondents reinforced by Power analysis and data analysis techniques used multiple regression tests. with the help of SPSS 26.0.0. The results of the hypothesis test (T-Test) partially show that the significance value of the variable X1 (Financial Knowledge) of 0.001 that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning that there is an influence between Financial Knowledge and Consumption Patterns. X2 of 0.604 is greater than 0.05 where H0 is accepted and H1 is rejected, which means that Lifestyle does not have a significant effect on consumption patterns. Then the religiosity of X3 of 0.000 is less than 0.05 and a decision can be obtained that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, so that religiosity affects consumption patterns. The F value is calculated as 19.028 > the F table is 0.1552 or the p-value is 0.000 < 0.05, so the independent variable of Consumption Pattern simultaneously has a significant effect on the dependent variables, namely X1 (Financial Knowledge), X2 (Lifestyle), X3 (Religiosity).

Abstract

The dynamics of global economic development demand a financial system that is not only efficient but also fair and ethical. In this context, Islamic financing institutions emerge as a strategic alternative by offering financial solutions grounded in Islamic principles such as justice, transparency, and social responsibility. This study aims to examine the concepts, regulations, operational principles, and various Islamic financing products that are developing in Indonesia. The research employs a library research method, relying on academic literature, official regulations, and DSN-MUI fatwas. The findings reveal that Islamic financing institutions perform financial intermediation using Sharia-compliant contracts such as murabahah, mudharabah, musyarakah, ijarah, and others. In terms of regulation, these institutions operate based on formal legal frameworks including Law No. 21 of 2008, Minister of Finance Regulation No. 84/PMK.012/2006, various Financial Services Authority (OJK) regulations, and Sharia fatwas. The products offered include consumptive financing, productive financing, syndicated financing, take-over financing, and letter of credit (L/C). These findings underscore the significant role of Islamic financing institutions in promoting inclusive and sustainable economic growth in Indonesia

Abstract

The rise of social media and digital culture has reshaped how young consumers make moral decisions, particularly in purchasing local products. The phenomenon of Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) has emerged as a psychological driver that fuels impulsive and symbolic consumption among Generation Z. This study aims to analyse the extent to which digital social pressure and FOMO culture influence the ethical behaviour of young consumers when buying local products in the era of algorithmic capitalism. A qualitative conceptual approach was employed through a systematic literature review of relevant studies published between 2020 and 2025. The analysis followed a deductive–thematic process to explore the relationships among intrinsic moral motivation, digital social pressure, and ethical fading in consumer behaviour. The findings reveal that while ethical awareness toward local products is increasing, social pressure and FOMO culture tend to shift consumers’ moral orientation from intrinsic values to extrinsic motivations based on trends and social validation. This phenomenon amplifies the attitude-behaviour gap and indicates a transformation of morality from personal reflection to algorithmic conformity. The study concludes that ethical consumer behaviour in the digital age must be understood as the outcome of an interaction between individual values, technological design, and social media pressure. It recommends enhancing digital moral literacy and encouraging local businesses to build authentic ethical narratives so that young consumers’ decisions remain grounded in moral awareness rather than transient digital trends.
