Abstract

This research discusses the creation and testing of ornithopter prototype as an educational tool because the use of lecture learning methods makes students feel bored. An Ornithopter is an unmanned aircraft that mimics the movement of bird wings while flying. This research employs balsa wood as the main material for the prototype and testing is carried out in a closed environment. The ornithopter prototype has 3 out of 4 degrees of freedom of bird wing movement, including flapping, feathering, and spanning movements. The process of making the ornithopter prototype involves designing, measuring, cutting, assembling, and the attachment of plastic components as wings and tail. Testing is conducted through flight trials using rubber as the propulsive mechanism. The test results showed that the ornithopter prototype prototype is capable of achieving flight, with an average flight duration of approximately 4.76 seconds and the number of wing flaps was 8 times per second. Comparison of characteristics between the ornithopter prototype and pigeons shows that the ornithopter prototype has approached the movement of birds when flying which pigeons can flap 8-10 times per second while flying. With 3 out of 4 degrees of freedom implemented, namely flapping, feathering, and spanning movements, the ornithopter prototype can serve as an educational tool to enhance the understanding of bird wing movements during flight.

Abstract

The cause of the leak was triggered by a hose that was no longer suitable for use so that it could cause gas leaks which could have an impact on the explosion of LPG gas cylinders. By making a security system for LPG gas with a microcontroller based MQ-6 sensor using an alarm and SMS, it can help users to find out the occurrence of a leak in LPG gas. As this tool works when there is a gas leak, the MQ-6 detects that there is a leak in the LPG gas hose, so the alarm will sound. When it is on, the sound will send a command to Arduino to close the LPG gas valve. Then the buzzer alarm will send commands to the user via SMS to notify you that "gas leak has occurred". The implementation of this device is useful so that users can quickly find out leaks in the gas so that they can take steps to avoid an explosion on the gas stove. The conclusion is that this LPG gas leak detector control system can help the community, especially housewives, and can also help to avoid fires due to LPG gas leaks.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze publication trends, thematic structures, collaboration patterns, and emerging research directions in educational service quality studies indexed in the Scopus database between 2011 and 2026. A total of 70 journal articles were selected through a PRISMA-based screening process from an initial dataset of 193 documents. The analysis employed bibliometric and science mapping techniques, including publication trend analysis, co-authorship analysis, bibliographic coupling, and keyword co-occurrence analysis. Bibliometrix (R-package) was used for descriptive bibliometric analysis, while VOSviewer was utilized to visualize thematic relationships and research networks. The findings indicate a significant increase in publication output after 2019, reflecting growing academic interest in educational service quality evaluation. Research in this field is predominantly concentrated within social sciences and management disciplines, with SERVQUAL, student satisfaction, higher education, and service quality emerging as the most dominant themes. The keyword evolution analysis demonstrates a transition from descriptive and perception-based evaluation approaches toward more outcome-oriented research focusing on institutional performance and student experience. The collaboration analysis reveals relatively fragmented research networks among authors and institutions, indicating opportunities for stronger interdisciplinary and international collaboration. The existing literature remains heavily dependent on traditional survey-based methodologies, while advanced analytical approaches such as learning analytics, machine learning, predictive modelling, and intelligent decision support systems remain underexplored within educational service quality research. This study contributes to the literature by providing a comprehensive bibliometric overview of the intellectual structure and thematic evolution of educational service quality research. The findings offer insights for researchers, educational institutions, and policymakers in developing more data-driven, interdisciplinary, and technology-oriented approaches for evaluating and improving educational service quality.

Abstract

The rapid shift to online and technology-mediated learning during the COVID-19 pandemic significantly transformed Indonesia’s educational practices and intensified attention to how learning processes and outcomes are evaluated. This study maps the evolution of educational evaluation and e-learning research in Indonesia after the pandemic by examining publication trends, thematic patterns, and intellectual structures from 2020 to 2024. A total of 133 publications published between 2020 and 2024 were retrieved from Scopus using a structured search query construction procedure and analyzed through Biblioshiny. The analysis included annual scientific production, average citation trends, cumulative growth modelling, keyword co-occurrence mapping, thematic mapping, and conceptual structure analysis. Data quality was strengthened through duplicate checking, keyword standardization, metadata consistency checks, and verification of Indonesian institutional affiliations. The findings reveal five major clusters: e-learning as a central theme connecting evaluation and digital pedagogy; learning assessment and student performance; educational technology and AI-supported learning tools; learning systems and platform-based instructional models; and emerging topics such as digital literacy, local wisdom, metaverse-related learning, and instrument development. These results indicate a post-pandemic shift toward technology-supported evaluation practices while also exposing gaps in validated digital assessment instruments, longitudinal evaluation, AI-integrated assessment frameworks, and equity-sensitive studies across diverse Indonesian educational contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to provide a quantitative synthesis of the association between socioeconomic status (SES) and students’ financial numeracy. The systematic review followed PRISMA guidelines and included 26 journal articles published between 2021 and 2026, representing 166,427 participants from 15 countries. Using a random-effects model, the meta-analysis found a statistically significant moderate positive association between SES and financial numeracy, r = 0.31, 95% CI [0.21, 0.40], p < .001. However, substantial heterogeneity was observed, I² = 98.4%, indicating considerable variation across studies. Subgroup analyses suggested that the SES–financial numeracy relationship was stronger in developing countries and rural geographical contexts, where family resources may play a greater role in students’ financial learning opportunities. The association also appeared more pronounced at the university level, suggesting a widening SES gap across educational progression. No substantial evidence of publication bias was detected. This study concludes that SES is an important international predictor of students’ financial numeracy and highlights the need for early, inclusive, and context-sensitive financial mathematics education, particularly for students from lower-SES backgrounds.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence has significantly transformed chemical research, particularly in molecular modeling, reaction prediction, and visualization. However, the role of visualization within AI-driven chemistry remains fragmented and underexplored. This study addresses this gap through a bibliometric analysis of research at the intersection of artificial intelligence, chemistry, and visualization. Data were collected from the Scopus database in April 2026 using a structured search query and screened following PRISMA guidelines. The final dataset consisted of 1,069 journal articles, which were analyzed using Biblioshiny and VOSviewer to examine publication trends, conceptual structures, and thematic evolution. To complement the bibliometric findings, eight additional articles related to IBM RXN for Chemistry were qualitatively reviewed to explore the role of emerging AI platforms in chemical visualization. The results reveal a substantial increase in research output after 2019, reflecting the rapid expansion of AI applications in chemistry. The field is dominated by themes related to machine learning, molecular modeling, computational chemistry, and analytical techniques. Temporal analysis indicates a progression from early computational approaches to advanced AI-based methods, including deep learning and predictive modeling. Rather than emerging as an independent research theme, visualization is primarily embedded within machine learning, molecular modeling, retrosynthesis, and computational chemistry workflows, where it supports the interpretation of complex chemical data and predictive outputs. The analysis of IBM RXN-related studies further highlights the emergence of integrated platforms that combine molecular design, reaction prediction, and retrosynthesis within interactive visualization environments. Overall, AI-driven chemistry is undergoing a transition toward platform-based and predictive visualization systems. These findings contribute to understanding how visualization supports knowledge generation in contemporary chemistry, although citation-based indicators for the most recent publications should be interpreted cautiously due to the inclusion of records indexed up to April 2026.

Abstract

The relationship between mathematical resilience and mathematical problem-solving ability is well established; however, the extent to which this relationship varies across educational levels and learning contexts remains unclear. Extending previous meta-analytic evidence, this study examined educational level and the COVID-19 learning period as potential moderators. The quantitative synthesis included 31 primary studies published between 2017 and 2022, yielding 40 effect sizes: 11 from high-school studies, 17 from university studies, and 12 from junior-high-school studies. A random-effects model produced an overall pooled Fisher’s (z) of 0.76,95% CI [0.64,0.88], (t(38)=13.10),(p<.001), equivalent to approximately (r=.64). Substantial heterogeneity was observed, (τ=0.32),95, and (I^2=81.83, with a 95% prediction interval from (z=0.10) to (z=1.42), equivalent to approximately (r=.10) to (r=.89). The pooled effects were positive and significant for high school, (z=0.831), university, (z=0.793), and junior high school, (z=0.659). However, educational level did not significantly moderate the relationship, (Q_m (2)=1.57),(p=.457). The COVID-19 period was also not a significant moderator within the high-school, (F_m (1,9)=0.046),(p=.836), university, (F_m (1,15)=3.984),(p=.064), or junior-high-school subgroup, (F_m (1,10)=0.480),(p=.504). These findings indicate that mathematical resilience is consistently associated with stronger problem-solving performance across educational levels, although substantial variation remains within each subgroup. Resilience-supportive mathematics instruction should therefore be implemented across educational stages and accompanied by adequate instructional and contextual support.
