Abstract

Digital transformation in Bali's traditional markets is becoming increasingly important due to shifting tourist behaviors and the demand for more adaptive tourism services. However, the digitalization of traditional markets involves more than just the implementation of technology; it also encompasses community readiness, user acceptance, cultural preservation, and the market's ability to maintain long-term competitiveness. This study aims to analyze the digital readiness of Bali's traditional markets and its relationship with technology acceptance, digital transformation, sustainable tourism, and sustainable competitive advantage. A qualitative approach was employed, utilizing observations and interviews with market stakeholders and tourists. The analysis also identified various forms of digitalization adoption and the barriers faced by traditional markets. The findings indicate that digitalization has begun through the use of digital payments, social media, and product information provision; however, implementation remains suboptimal due to limitations regarding digital literacy, facilities, connectivity, technological understanding, and the readiness of some vendors. The Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) perspective highlights perceived usefulness and ease of use as critical factors in technology acceptance, while Digital Transformation Theory suggests that digitalization must be understood as a shift in transaction processes, marketing, service delivery, tourist interactions, and value creation. The study further demonstrates that digital readiness serves as a crucial foundation for successful digital transformation. Integrating digital readiness with local wisdom, product authenticity, community participation, and technology can strengthen the sustainable competitive advantage of Bali's traditional markets. Thus, effective digital transformation does not aim to replace the traditional character of the markets but rather to enhance competitiveness and the tourist experience while preserving Balinese cultural values. Keywords: Digital Readiness, Digital Transformation, Sustainable Competitive Advantage, Traditional Market, Sustainable Tourism.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Influence of Financial Services Digitalization on the Financial Performance of Commercial Banks Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The background of this research is due to the rapid transformation of banking services towards digital, where almost all commercial banks are competing to provide services that can be accessed through digital applications to increase operational efficiency and competitiveness in the midst of competition in the banking industry. The author uses a quantitative approach with secondary data in the form of annual reports of three state-owned commercial banks, namely Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI), Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI), and Bank Mandiri, during the 2023-2025 period. Financial Services Digitalization (variable X) is measured through the growth in the number of users of digital banking applications, while Financial Performance (variable Y) is measured through the average value of Return On Assets (ROA) and Return On Equity(ROE). The data were analyzed using simple linear regression with the help of the SPSS program. The results of the study show that Financial Services Digitalization has a positive and significant effect on Financial Performance, with a determination coefficient value (R-2.) of 0.679, meaning that the financial services digitalization variable is able to explain 67.9% of the variation in the Financial Performance of commercial banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, while the rest is influenced by other factors outside this research model.

Abstract

known about its association with multidimensional work success and whether organizational culture strengthens its benefits. Integrating job demands–resources theory with a contextual perspective on organizational culture, this study tests five hypotheses linking humble leadership, perceived team engagement, work success, and two culture-based interaction effects. Cross-sectional survey data from a hierarchical public-sector work setting were analyzed using partial least squares structural equation modeling. The measurement model demonstrated satisfactory reliability, internal consistency, convergent validity, and discriminant validity. Humble leadership was positively related to perceived team engagement and work success, and perceived team engagement was positively related to work success. Organizational culture strengthened both the humble leadership–engagement and humble leadership–work success relationships, although its main associations with both outcomes were not significant. The model explained 43.1% of perceived team engagement variance and 66.6% of work success variance. These findings position humility as a context-dependent social resource whose benefits are stronger when culture supports involvement, consistency, adaptability, and mission. The study shows that organizational culture may function primarily as an enabling condition and offers implications for leadership development and supportive organizational systems.
