Abstract

Tourism is designed to be a number one source of foreign exchange in Indonesia. But the development of toursm and tourist destination will definitely have an economic impact whether it’s positive impact or negative impact. As well as development in tourist destinationHidden Canyon Beji Guwang. This research aims to find out what is the participation of local community in the development of Hidden Canyon Beji Guwangand to find out what is the economic impactof it. The data used in this research is qualitative and quantitative data. Primary data source data and secondary data source. This research used descriptive qualitative method. Which is obtained through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. Informant determination is done bypurposive sampling technique. The results of this research is tourist destinationHidden Canyon Beji Guwangmanagement derived entirely from the participation of local communities in Desa Guwang. Economic impact which is more dominantly felt by the local communities because the management system is only employs local people from Guwang Village whosemost of them are dropped out of school. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine local community participation to preservation of Istano Basa Pagaruyung as tourism attraction. Data collection procedures using observation and interviews. Data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive technique. The results based on the description of local community participation in supporting the preservation of Istano Basa Pagaruyung, Tanah Datar regency, West Sumatera as tourist attraction. The types of local community participation to support preservation of Istano Basa Pagaruyung is participation in implementation and participation in taking of benefits. While on the type of participation in decision making and evaluation, the local community does not have an active role. Local communities participate as man power, treasure an skills. While there is no participation of idea or thought that have done by local resident around Istano Basa Pagaruyung tourist attraction. Keywords: Participation, community, concervation

Abstract

ABSTRACT Ecotourism is a trend in the world of tourism in which there is an attempt to empower the community to improve the local economy. Taman Sari Buwana is an ecotourism located in Tunjuk Village, Tabanan District, Tabanan Bali. This study aims to assess the form of community empowerment in the tourism development process, Taman Sari Buwana using qualitative data types with primary and secondary data sources. The Data were collected through observation, library research and in-depth interviews using a Porposive Sampling technique. Taman Sari Buwana is an ecotourism located at Tunjuk Village, Tabanan District, Tabanan Bali. Ecotourism was pioneered by I Ketut Buwana SE.MM born at Banjar Beng Kaja, Tunjuk village. Ecotourism of Taman Sari Buwana is offering alternative tourism activities such as trekking to utilize the resources and culture of Banjar Beng Kaja, Tunjuk Village. This study was conducted to review the form of community empowerment in the tourism development process Taman Sari Buwana. In its development, ecotourism of Taman Sari Buwana empower local communities in three stages: first, the planning of which empowerment in tourism potential mapping, land supply, the provision of facilities and socialization programs. Second, the implementation stage, of which in the implementation of community development and management of ecotourism program. And third, monitoring or evaluation stage including community empowerment in monitoring and benefits of ecotourism  Taman Sari Buwana.

Abstract

Research on the travel attractions featured in transit area Pematangsiantar, North Sumatra, intend to find an activity that is do by tourist in transit and to know the attraction featured of travel attraction for transit tourist. Data collection techniques in this study, by observation, in-depth interviews with the actors of tourism in Pematangsiantar, and literature study by means of documentation using a variety of documents, such as books and literature. Documentation can also be done by taking a picture in Pematangsiantar. The data obtained were analyzed by using qualitative descriptive analysis of the data that describes, depicts, and systematic explanation of the data obtained in the field with the aim of obtaining a clear and objective. This research is located in Pematangsiantar, North Sumatra. The results of this research is to be able to make Pematangsiantar as transit areas must be identified ahead of the tourist attraction featured for transit travelers. To determine the leading tourist appeal, it is necessary to know the behavior patterns of travelers in transit while in Pematangsiantar, starting from what place you visit, what you buy, and how long the stay. Of traveler behavior patterns, it can be concluded that the appeal is the leading tourist tourist attraction most visited by tourists in transit and has many tourist activities, are: culinary tourism, cultural tourism, nature tourism and religious tourism. Abstract

Arma Museum is a museum located in the village of Ubud. When viewed from the type collection Arma Museum categorized as museum of art. Arma Museum as a cultural tourist attraction, hopes to become a cultural center is a place for preserving art and culture, therefore the manager is expected to preserve the art of Balinese culture by means of training, education and organizing events related to art and culture of Bali. That assumption is underlying me to choose this topic for research. The topic is “Management of Arma Museum as Cultural Tourist Attraction in the village of Ubud”. The method used in this research is a research method with qualitative descriptive analysis technique to analyze management of Arma Museum . Sources of data derived from primary data and secondary data. Data collecting technique using in-depth interviews, observation and study of literature. Determination of informants from Arma Museum in this study using purposive sampling technique. This study is limited by using the concept of management, the concept of the museum, tourist attraction concept and the concept of cultural tourism. Five museums in the Ubud area has different types of categories the same collection are paintings, but in its management Arma Museum combines the museum as an institution which is a non-profit that is supported by the business unit such as a café, a coffee shop, Restaurant, and the cottages are located in the area Arma museum.. Arma Museum is able to become a cultural tourist attraction because apart from being institutions that preserve works of art, but the museum arma also able to preserve some kind of art such as dance, sculpture and traditional music.

Abstract

Gallery Ogoh – ogoh in Yadnya Museum is a collection of objects og various shapes ogoh – ogoh. The building gallery ogoh – ogoh is right beside the Taman Ayung, Mengwi. Gallery ogoh – ogoh is very usefull for tourists who did not get to see ogoh – ogoh during Nyepi day. So they are more enjoyable to see anytime the uniqueness of ogoh – ogoh itself. Application concept Museum is an essential componenr to be used as a benchmark to improve the quality and facilities at gallery ogoh – ogoh as a tourist attraction. This study aims to anlyze the applictions concept museum on gallery ogoh – ogoh for tourist attraction. Data was collected through observation, unstructured interviews, literature study and documentation. Determinationtechniquesinformant/sampleispurposive. For the determination ofthe sampleusing“sampleimplementationanalysis”, by taking theexample ofthe bestmuseumsinBalias a benchmarktobe used asan example ofa conceptthatwill beapplied to thegalleryogoh-ogohas a tourist attraction. The concept of the museum which was applied to the gallery ogoh- ogoh seen from the standard guidelines of founding a museum, so it can be explained from any related components. As a tourist attraction gallery ogoh - ogoh has had 1) Attractions (Attractions) is good, 2) Accessibility (accessibilities) is enough, 3) Amenities or facilities(suit) is enough, 4)Ancillaryservices namely tourism organizations required for tourist services ares till not good. The results of this study also provides recommendations to the manager gallery ogoh- ogoh to improve facilities and quality as an attraction that can be presented to tourists. Abstract

ABSTRACT   This research will discuss about the Badung Government Policy About Operation Nightlife Ground Zero in Legian, Kuta. This study seeks to describe the development of tourism in Badung regency, a description of the policies established by the Government of Badung regency which are mapped to the employers area nightclubs Ground Zero in Jalan Legian, Kuta. . Types and sources of data are qualitative and quantitative data as well as primary and secondary data. Data was collected by observation, in-depth interviews, and library research. Determination techniques and informers samples used in this study is the purposive sampling method of obtaining information or a complete and in-depth data. Data analysis techniques used in this study is qualitative research means research that produces descriptive data in the form of writing or speech, words, and behaviors that can be observed by the researchers. From the discussion of the research on "Badung Government Policy About Operation Nightlife Ground Zero in Legian, Kuta". Then get a conclusion that forms of abuses committed entrepreneurs Sky Garden because they were overwhelmed in managing and urge visitors that come to leave immediately due nightclubs operating hours had passed the limits set. Form of Badung regency government efforts in bridging the interests of public employers Kuta nightlife with the cooperation or involvement with Kuta Sector Police, Civil Service Police Unit Badung, Kuta village chief and the coordinating Bendesa Adat Kuta related violations and complaints from the public Kuta.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the working Program of the tourist village and the extent of implementation, in the Mas village. This research was conducted in the Mas village with method survey. Data collection is done by conducting in-depth interviews and observations to the speaker. Method of sampling is random with interviewees interviewed related parties among others, Kasie extension and human resources development in the Tourism Office of Gianyar Regency, the head of the Mas village, Chairman of the Group aware of tours (Pokdarwis), and the perpetrators of the tourism. The data collected showed that the work programme of the group is aware that includes 4 programs: resources, environmental conservation, art preservation, custom and culture, Marketing and Promotionwhile the implementation of the work programme of the Group aware of the tour has been running pretty good one is the development of a Tarukan tourist village by empowering local communities so as to give a positive impact for the people's welfare. However in its development of consistency management of tourist village that is a conscious Group tours (Pokdarwis) begin to experience barriers due to resources, communications, Disposition/Implementers and workflow in the internal Group Aware that must be addressed in order for programs that have already been created can be done on an ongoing basis. Abstract

ABSTRACT This research is about local community’s participation of tourism activities in Jatiluwih village Tabanan regency. Jatiluwih has not been considered to give a positif impact to local community. Therefore, Community Based Tourism (CBT) is needed to increase community’s participation. The importance of this study to determine the form of community’s participation in tourism activities Jatiluwih village and to determine the level of community participation of tourism activities in Jatiluwih village. The results of the study shows that participation of local communities is the implementation of Community-Based Tourism (CBT). Community’s participation of Jatiluwih Village in the form of direct participation and indirect participation, where the direct participation of local communities in Jatiluwih Village is a conscious community’s participation that is directed to develop tourism as a homestay provider, provider of restaurants and food stalls, admission officers, a local tour guide and security guard while indirect participation is participation does not directly receive contributions from travelers such as farmers, janitors, cooperative management of tourism and Karang Taruna management. Further participation in the Jatiluwih Village measured by four indicators to determine the level of participation of local communities in tourism in the Jatiluwih Village.

Abstract

The museum is one of the cultural heritages that should be preserved. Museum Bali is one of the old museum is located in the city of Denpasar and became an icon of cultural tourism. The purpose of this study to determine the perceptions and motivations of tourists to Museum Bali as cultural tourist attractions in Denpasar. This study uses primary data and secondary. Data collection technique used observation, interview, questionnaire, and documentation. Sampling technique using the formula slovin by sampling using accidental sampling devoted to 96 respondents. To analyze data using qualitative descriptive. The results of this study indicate that the perception of tourists to Museum Bali shows a good response because from 17 indicators used as a measure of the response has been positive, there are two indicators got bad response. Advice can be given is the need for more interesting information and support so that tourists are more interested to know the collections of the Museum Bali.There needs to be a cultural attraction, the better promotion and attractive to increase the number of tourist visits.
