Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the effect of Mount Agung eruption on the production of sculpture in Sebatu Village, Tegallalang District, Gianyar Regency. The types of data and sources of data used are qualitative, primary and secondary data. Data collection is conducted by observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. Analysis of the data used was qualitative data analysis to seek the relationship between the influence of the Mount Agung eruption on the qaunitity of sculpture production and the distribution network of sculpture crafts in Sebatu Village. The results of this study indicate that sculpture crafts produced in Sebatu Village are a type of contemporary sculpture that is dominated by animal statues. The production capacity of sculpture crafts in Sebatu village after the eruption of Mount Agung has increased, contrary to when the eruption occurred tourists could not come directly to order sculpture and their production capacity had declined. The working system of sculpture craftsmen has started to run normally with increasing production capacity. The distribution network of sculpture crafts in Sebatu Village can be distributed in five ways through distribution to the Sukawati art market, Balinese souvenirs, shipping by sea, shipping via cargo and distribution to the villa. From the conclusion, the Gianyar Regency Government should provide capital support for the sculpture industry, especially in Sebatu Village, Tegallalang District.There is a need to increase capital for handicraft business owners by providing financial or credit assistance for sculpture.Thus, there will be many entrepreneurs who are growing and increasing their production. Abstract

This research analyzed the rural heritage tourism development strategy in Tamkesi, North Cental Timor Regency as a tourism destination. This research uses qualitative approaches. Data collected by observation, in-depth interviews, and literature study. This research used qualitative data analysis. The informant collection techniques used purposive sampling. Tamkesi Traditional Village has tangible heritage and untangibile heritage which can become a tourism main attraction. The results showed that tourism potentials of the village of Tamkesi such as natural tourism resources, accessibility and some tourism facilities and infrastructure are inadequate. Strategies that can assist in developing cultural tourism in rural area heritage in Tamkesi Village are: by knowing the type of cultural amenities in Tamkesi village, that were tangible and intangible heritage facilities. The tourism potentials of the village of Tamkesi among others natural tourism resources, cultural, heritage, accessibility and supporting facilities which have not been packed and managed well, and some tourism facilities and infrastructure are inadequate.

Abstract

The research is conducted in Banjar Berawa/Desa Adat Berawa, nort Kuta district, Badung Regency. The study purposes to know the impact of tourism growth to the society consumptive pattern in Berawa. The technique of the data collection use direct observation technique to the location, interviewing for informan, I.E.Bendesa Adat Berawa, Klian Desa Berawa, Klian Dinas Berawa, Klian Subak Tibubeneng Village, Local society, and documentation by taking photos. The data are analysed by using qualitative data analysis technique which are working based on data, searching and finding pattern, getting interesting data and deciding the data that will be ssuced. The technique of informants assigmnen is purposive sampling which is assigning the sample by using particular consideration so, deserves to be a sample. The data analysis includes with collection data, reduction data, displaying data, conclusion and verivication. The result of the study shows the society point of view to the aconomy establishmemt of educational aspec of the society which is getting increase, society in Banjar Berawa are also starting to enterpreneurship by set up abussiness such as homestay and laundy. The point of view of society to the customary order is the society seens strong with the wealth that they have. The society fulfill their family neededs by taking many kends of occupation. Abstract

ABSTRACT The background of this research is the existence of a negative impression caused by the temporary tattoo services as their performances were less polite and the tattooed their bodies scare the visitors. In addition, for the most part of the tattoo service providers who offer their services to visitors to demand. The purposes of this study are determine the perception of tourists to workers and temporary tattoos to determine why local communities choose to work as temporary tattoos. The data are collected through observation, questionnaires and structured interviews. Taking samples by the method of proportional purposive sampling as many as 50 people. Techniques for tourist using quota sampling methods, data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative research to illustrate how objects and using a Likert scale analysis to analyze the perceptions of tourists to workers temporary tattoos. The results of this research is the perception of domestic travelers to workers, temporary tattoos undecided, it shows that on the one hand workers are still expected existence of temporary tattoos and more travelers on the other hand if the workers want no temporary tattoos Because of their attitudes and behaviors that are Considered impolite cause uncomfortable. For tourists feel less reason to Encourage residents to work as a temporary tattoo that is due to spend leisure time, limited employment opportunities, parent recommendation.

Abstract

Art shop in Tegallalang is one of the businesses that were built by the community with a small capital as well as the livelihoods of local communities. The expansion of the art shop in Tegallalang causing the large number of tourists visiting Tegallalang, it is also supported by the presence of a tourism destination with the beauty of rice fields across the village that is known for its slender stones. This research uses qualitative descriptive method, i.e. by doing interviews, observation, documentation, library studies and questionnaires. The technique of determination of informants used is purposive sampling technique and determination of the sample using the quota sampling and accidental sampling. The result of this study show a marketing strategy that can be used by traders to face competition that is creating cultural tourism atttractions activities, introducing product manufacturing techniques to consumer, improving the ability in technologi, providing parking lots and transit places, providing facilities that can facilitate employes in work, improving quality or multiplaying product models, working with other in buying raw materials, make arrangement of prices agreement with other art shop and angage in English training. Abstract

The tourism sector contributes a lot to the economic development in Indonesia, it can be seen from the number of new job opening, increasing the income of the state and increasing the economy of the people around the tourist destination. However, in its development, tourism has also experienced many problems, such as the increasingly tight competition among Southeast Asian countries in controlling the world tourism market target to make its region as the world's main tourist destination in the region. A poorly-organized marketing strategy can be a major problem in market target. It happened at the outbound tourist attraction of Bali Treetop Adventure Park located at Eka Karya Bali Botanical Garden, Bedugul, Tabanan Regency. Many tourists do not know the attraction of this outbound tour. This is due to lack of information for tourists about the tourist attraction, a less precise marketing strategy is suspected to be the main problem. The purpose of this research is to find out the marketing strategy of Bali Treetop Adventure Park at Eka Karya Bali Botanical Garden, Bedugul, Tabanan Regency. Types of data that is used are qualitative data and quantitative data with approaches through observation, interviews, questionnaires distribution to tourists, literature study and documentation. The data analyzed in the research is the explanation of various explanations of data obtained directly from the managers of Bali Treetop Adventure Park and tourists during this research took place. The result of this research is Bali Treetop Adventure Park has several marketing strategies that is direct promotion (sales call, exhibition, brochure), promotion of mass media (magazine, baliho, Facebook, YouTube), indirect promotion (travel agent and local guide). The target of the market has been obtained but it is not maximized, this is caused by the market strategies which is not done properly. So it is necessary to improve its performance for human resources in the tourist attraction of Bali Treetop Adventure Park is to achieve the desired number of tourists visit. Abstract

Abstract Lasiana beach is one of beach in the Lasiana village, subdistrict of Kelapa Lima, Kupang city, Province East Nusa Tenggara. This beach have interesting natural potency to developed as a very attractive natural potential to be developed as a leading tourist attraction, it has a very beautiful natural scenery with white sandy beaches characteristics, smooth and has a long coastline, the waves are calm, beautiful natural panoramic sunset and the shade of trees on the coast to offer a special attraction for tourists. Lasiana beach managed by the Department of Culture and Tourism of Kupang with the procurement of various facilities. Given the development of tourist sites Lasiana Beach is not optimal, it is necessary that efforts be constructive to improve the welfare of the community, promoting culture, nature conservation and other resources. Several attempts to do in optimizing the development of tourist sites Lasiana Beach towards sustainable tourism.

Abstract

Purpose Of Research Singer is for the review to know the potential of eco-cycling in ecotourism Subak Sembung.This research was conducted using qualitative method. Data were collected through observation and in-depth interviews, documentation and study of literature. Informant determining technique using purposive sampling, by selecting the source is considered to have a deep knowledge of the potential that exists in Subak Sembung. Chairman of the manager and the people who know the history of Subak Sembung.Data were analyzed using the concept of ecotourism by Fennel (Arida, 2009) and the World Conservation Union (WCU in Arida, 2009) and is supported by the concept of potential and cycling that gets results that Subak Sembung has very good potential to conduct eco-cycling.The local community has a major role in the management of eco-cycling activities. When people are getting ready to activities that will promote the activities of the new travel package that is eco-cycling in the middle of Denpasar. Keywords: ecotourism, potential, eco-cycling

Abstract

Pandawa Beach is one of destination in Bali that be popular and much visited by tourists. Therefore, it is necessary managed by Kutuh Village community well. This study discussed about community participation in tourism development in Pandawa Beach. The method of this study is in-depth interviews, observation and literature study. In determining the informant, the technique that used is purposive sampling. Data analysis used qualitative descriptive. Result from this study is Kutuh Village community participation in decision making.The type of community participation in making decissin is interactive, in tourism program planning ( in tourism facilities development that are self mobilization, in tourism investments that are self mobilization, and in tourism promotion that is intensive ), in sharing profit from tourism activity in Pandawa Beach, and the type of community participation in sharing profit is self mobilization.

Abstract

Location of this research in Sendang Duwur district of Lamongan. The condition of tourism Sendang Duwur Village have big potential in giving economic contribution to local society. This is the purpose of this research. Based on the above research that revealed three problems, namely what the uniqueness from tourism product in Sendang Duwur Village, how was the tourist shopping behavior in Sendang Duwur Tourism Village, And how was contribution of Sendang Duwur Tourism Village for Local Comunnity Economic. To express the above problem this research using primary and secondary data source, while type of data used is the qualitative data and quantitative data. The technique in order to obtain the validity of data using flow model method and quantitative analyzing. Data which collect by questionnaire, in-depht interview, observation and documentation. The results of this study related to tourism product unique of Sendang Duwur Tourism Village as attraction, amenities, accessibility and ancillary services. The type of tourist shopping behavior is tourist who like to look for variety with percentage of 80%. Sendang Duwur Tourism Village has not contributed optimally to improve community local economic because visitor spending whose amount is determind by length of stay cannot be used because there is no tourist staying. Tourist only make shorts visit. Some advice will be given for the local people so that keep specificity of tourism product. For the government to more active to promote Sendang Duwur Village to be known to many people. Keywords : contribution economy, tourism village, local community
