Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aimed to indentify the size of the impact of villa development on social economic community life’s on Jalan Baik-Baik. The period identified of villa development started from 2009-2013. Later on the three elements, community, villa management and the goverment can work together to minimize the negative impact. This study was conducted on Jalan Baik-Baik, Banjar Seminyak, Sub-distric Seminyak, Bali. The techique of collecting data in this research using observation, in-depth interview, library research, documentation and quetionnaires. To determine the sample used Slovin formula .The population taken from overall number of family card including administrative family card. So taotaled of population is 474 family card. So amound of sample used is 84 sample. The data analysis techniques in this study using analysis descriptive quantitative which assited with skala likert and continuum line. Villa developments of the year 2009-2013 experienced growth every year. Up to 2013 there are twelve new villas operating in Jalan Baik-Baik. Based on the result of the quetionnaire and the total score from all the indicators on the social aspect, the impact of villa development on social life of community in Jalan Baik-Baik are in low category with percentage 60,67%. While the result of the questionnaire and the total score from all indicators on economic aspect, the impact of villa development on economic life of the community in Jalan Baik-Baik situated on high category with percentage 71,42%.

Abstract

This research discusses about the phenomenon impact of culinary tourism in Malang City, East Java. Which is analyze the characteristic of the tourist such as age, job, and where they from. The impact of culinary tourism phenomenon analyze with the aspect of positive and the negative. The point of view for the impact is in 3 (three) point such as economy, social culture, and the environment. The result of this study is the numbers of tourist departure always raising which is the point of view is still positive. The age of the tourists dominated in 21 – 30 years old. Tourist typology that come to Malang City is incipient mass, the tourist is very considerable about standard of the culinary but they still want the authentic of culinary itself. The impact of culinary tourism is showing the positive result, the tourist and local people feels that culinary tourism make he economy in Malang city being increased and also tourist can learn about the culture. Abstract

ABSTRACT Effect on the development of tourism and economy wide employment opportunities for the people including women. Understanding in society that women are only responsible for the domestic sector, and the public sector only the responsibility of men. This is not always true because there are also women working public sector, workers are women postcard sellers. Therefore the inclusion of women into the public world, requires women to be able to complete the task of domestic primary responsibility.To uncover problems in the research using primary and secondary data sources, while the type of data used is also quantitative and qualitative data. Methods of collecting data through observation, interviews, and library research. Analysis of the data used is descriptive qualitative analysis. The results showed that the role of women in the domestic sector postcard sellers are set up housekeeping (cleaning the house, washing clothes, cooking, cleaning the home furnishings), child care, and social activities in the community such as cremation, temple ceremony, marriage. The role of the public sector women are selling postcard.

Abstract

Tourist attraction located in the traditional village environment it is believed will provide many benefits for the community, both directly involved in the management or that are not directly involved. This study aims to determine the participation by local communities in the management and Taro Bali Adventure Tours to determine the extent of the role played by the public. Data collection techniques in research using the method of direct observation location, interviews with two informants directed that Operational Managers and Kelihan Adat, as well as the documentation by taking pictures. The data obtained were analyzed using qualitative data analysis techniques that work with the data, organize data, search and find patterns, to get interesting data and specify the data to be lifted The results showed that the lack of direct participation in the management because there is no activity that can involve the community. Community participation has been limited to maintaining the security of the area yaang use and management in Taro Bali Adventure Tours has been done because it has future plans, oversight by the board of commissioners as representatives of the public and accountability of managers every month. Advice to public benefit and be directly involved in the management of Taro Bali Adventure Tours. Keywords: Community Participation, Tourism Management, Bali Taro Adventure Tours

Abstract

This research is located at a Tourism Village Penglipuran, Bangli aims to determine the existing condition and synergy Desa Adat and Pengelola Pariwista Penglipuran in the development of tourism in Penglipuran Tourism Village, Bangli. Data collection techniques in this research are by observation, in-depth interviews, and study of the documentation relating to the secondary data in the field. The data have been obtained were analyzed by qualitative data analysis techniques that work with the data, organizing data, sorting them into manageable units, search and find patterns, find what is important, and what is learned, and deciding what can be describe to people other. Results of this study were concluded that the existing condition of Tourism Village Penglipuran includes, physical and non-physical condition. Synergies Desa Adat and Pengelola Pariwisata Penglipuran in the development of tourism at the Tourism Village Penglipuran is customary village as a tourism asset owners served as a maker and designer of the policy, while the tourism manager in charge of implementing the tourism policy. Moreover, in the management of the tourism activity undertaken by Pengelola Pariwisata, Desa Adat authorities to supervise all activities of tourism at the Tourism Village Penglipuran.

Abstract

Tourism attraction by watersport on Melasti Beach Serangan from the beginning of December 2017 until mid- December 2017 the number of tourist visits has decreased to reach its lowest point of zero percent, and as for some of the tourist services business attractions are laid off in a certain period due to the eruption of Mount Agung. This research related to the implications of the eruption of Mount Agung on Melasti Serangan Beach is to find out how much the impact of the Mount Agung eruption on tourism on Serangan Island was located quite far from Mount Agung Consept that used to discuss the problems in this study is the concept of implication and concept of watersports. The method use qualitative data analysis techniques by conducting observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The technique of determining the informant is done by purposive sampling. Source of data obtained primary data sources in the form of in-depth interviews to the management of watersport tourism attractions in Melasti Serangan Beach and direct observation in the field. The secondary data source of this study is in the form of the Denpasar City tourism service website, such as the number of tourist visits to Serangan Island and previous research journals related to this study. The implication of the eruption of Mount Agung on watersport tourism attractions in Melasti Serangan Beach includes a direct influence which has resulted in a decrease in tourist visits. The influence referred includes changes in operational hours, but without shortening working hours. Almost all employees experience a policy of laying off a maximum of 20 days. A decrease in the number of tourist visits, especially in December. Similarly, the amount of income earned only reaches less than 50% of normal days. Abstract

Abstract Badung is one of regency in Bali have much of tourism potential, tourist attraction and tourism resources. Currently Badung Regency have been developing Kuta Beach tourism. This research will discuss about Expectation Against Foreign Tourists In Area Parking Leisure Travel Attractions of Kuta Beach. This prompted a large number of tourists both domestic and foreign, thus the need for the development of the means of better facilities associated with supporting facilities and infrastructure for the comfort of tourists visiting Kuta beach. One of them in the provision of tourist services in the form of comfort in the parking area of ??Kuta beach tourist attraction for foreign tourists. Determination engineering samples used in this study is the method of purposive sampling Accidental sampling is coincidentally the foreign tourists who visit the area to Kuta beach tourist attraction. While the technique of determining purposive informant here is done by the special purpose. Purposeful (purposive) is used as a strategy when one wants to learn something and come to understand something about the cases of certain options need not generalize to all such cases (Patton, 1980:100). The collected data was then analyzed using qualitative descriptive. As early as the 1960s until today, Kuta is known as the busiest tourist spots in Bali. Understanding the expectations of his own wish fulfillment (hope) the traveler is a long process, to take a long time and are not cheap to achieve something as expected. This expectation for improvement exert towards something better and can be felt. Foreign tourists will want a change in their perceived shortcomings. This is due to the parking area of ??land that is not in accordance with the number of tourists who visit each day. Moreover, the land often take the road shoulder parking lot that resulted in severe congestion, especially for users of the road to access the beach of Kuta. Leisure tourists became distracted.

Abstract

The key of success in a company is on how the manager manages the company to survive, to compete, and dominate the market share. Therefore, management is a very important thing of a company, including a company which is running in the marine tourism sector. Benoa Marine Recreation is the first company which started water sport business in Bali and it is very interesting to determine its management. This research aims to determine the marine tourism management of PT Benoa Marine Recreation (BMR) in Tanjung Benoa village, Kuta Selatan subdistrict, Badung regency. The method used in this research is qualitative method and the data sources is primary data and secondary data. The data collecting method used in this research are observation, interview, and documentation and assisted with data analysis techniques. The result of this research explains that the management of Benoa Marine Recreation is very well by using kinship system. The functions of management are also running well, such as the planning has running properly, organizing also has running well. Every employes are involved, employees are doing their duty and obligation properly. The actuating has done by the general manager. The general manager also directs and motivates all employees. The coordination between boss and employees has interlaced very well. The controlling of water sport activities which is done by the operational manager also running well. Abstract

The village of Lamalera has great tourism potential to develope as a tourist attraction. However, it is important to consider some aspects in its development, such asaspect of the environment and the community, so that it will beneficial to the environment and can improve the economy of the community.The problem in this research was the potential of Lamalera, traditional fishing village. Data obtained in this study through observation, interview and documentation. The data were analyzed in qualitative descriptive by describing the potentials of Lamalera, traditional fishing village. The results showed physical and non physical potential of the village. The physical potential of Lamalera is white sandy beaches, crystal clear sea water, undersea view and other beauty of nature; while the non physical potential is in the form of custom ceremonial, traditional dances and religious. Abstract

Muaro Jambi temple a largest temple site in Sumatra island, with area of 3981 hectares wide. This temple is a legacy from Srivijaya and Melayu Empires, and a center of Buddhist teaching in 9th to 11th century. Considering history and significances of temple for Buddhists, effective development of religious tourism is required. This research investigate the development strategy in Muaro Jambi Temple as religious tourism. Using descriptive qualitative method, this research will describe the development of temple from various aspects of tourism development. The result of research analysis done by using descriptive qualitative analysis provide result through documentation supported narration. The research result show that tourism development is still in early stage and so problems in various aspects of development are found, with most of them caused by low synergy among the stakeholders. Thus, every stakeholder are expected to increase their synergy and cooperation for the sake of religious tourism growth in Muaro Jambi temple.
