Abstract

Corrotion is one of the problems that must be considered in the metal pipe installation because it can disturb the operation of the plant. The possibility of the corrotion occurrence can be predicted using neural network system. The black box system in the neural network can be used to calculate several potential causes the corrotion and to predict the corrotion rate. This study had constructed the prediction system of corrotion rate using neural network. The input of the system are material compositions, pH, flow rate and temperature. The material compositions which are used are Carbon (C), Manganese (Mn), Silicon (Si), Phosphorus (P), Sulphur (S), Chromium (Cr), Molybdenum (Mo), Aluminium (Al), Nickel (Ni) and Iron (Fe). The corrotion rate prediction network is using one hidden layer and lavenberg marquardt for the learning algorithm. The Mean Square Error (MSE) which is used to analyze the network performance indicates that both of training and validation show excellence results. The MSE of training is 0,000338971 and the validation is 0,000493117.

Abstract

Efficient energy on heat energy and embodied energy in a simple house type in Indonesia needs to be observed. The type of house is very closely linked with the building area. It is necessary to know in order to determine the type of house by developers or for the government in terms of the energy. This energy efficiency is important because energy is a world problem that must be saved. The buildings in this study using Compressed Earth Block (CEB) wall material. CEB is a low-energy building materials and local material. This material is a type of brick, but not through the process of burning. The research problem is the type of house which one has energy efficient? Because it is not always type with a small area will have energy efficient. The method used was the optimization of the heat energy in this case the cooling load with embodied energy. The research variables was the building floor area is reflected in the type of building. Cooling load in a building was calculated for a year, simulating calculations of the cooling load performed by software Archipak. While the embodied energy calculations using the standard embodied energy per unit. The results showed that the type of building optimal heat energy and embodied energy is a type of building 70 or a building type with the largest area. Building that has a small embodied energy will produce heat energy which is small as well.

Abstract

In PV systems connected to the grid requires a kWh meter to measure the amount of power delivered to the grid, and an inverter to convert the DC voltage generated by PV into AC voltage. The latest generation of Inverter using the high switching frequency to obtain the inverter with good efficiency, small in sizes and lightweight. This led to the emergence of harmonics to the grid through the instrument of kWh meter, and caused the kWh-meter is not working properly. This study is intended to obtain the minimum value of the switching frequency which affect the results of measurement of Digital kWh meters. Kwh-meter tested by varying the switching frequency which is obtained from various types of inverters and from the simulator of switching of high frequencies.

Abstract

In this paper, self-tuning sliding mode control is proposed to control quadrotor with mass parameter uncertainty on waypoint trajectory tracking. Parameter uncertainty is one of the factor that cause instability of quadrotor. Self-tuning sliding mode control is used to maintain the stability of quadrotor in this parametric uncertainties condition. The simulation results show that the quadrotor can track the waypoint trajectory in the presence of parameter uncertainty.
