Sea transportation continuity is mainly affected by the sea weather. The sea voyage may be disturbed by the unpredictable weather pattern. The rate of shipping accident that is caused by the bad weather shows a high percentage. Accordingly, the study of java sea wave characteristic is required. The java sea waters especially in the north side of Java Island, between Surabaya, Semarang Banjarmasin and Makassar is one of the most dense shipping lanes in Indonesia. Several big harbors such as tanjung perak of Surabaya and tanjung emas of Semarang serve high frequency of stevedoring and passenger loading/unloading. In previous researches, the sea weather predictor of java sea waters is still temporal. In this research, numerical modeling of SWAN is used to models the sea wave propagation direction and significant height of the wave in java sea waters. This model uses the concept of spectral energy balance to describe physical interaction that happened in the sea. Two scenarios are applicated in this simulation. in the first scenario, the input of wind speeds are given from 4 direction (west, north, east and south), while in the second scenario, the wind speeds are given according to the character of seasonal winds of the research object area.

Dwelling today should provide an opportunity for residents to develop. The design of storey residential buildings including apartments for low-income community should be thought about how these poor families are also developing therefore their space requirement is also growing. Rusunawa in Surabaya is a simple multi-storey dwelling which is built to accommodate disadvantaged households. Usually the available space comprising: a multi-functional space, a kitchen, a bathroom / WC, and sometimes completed with a balcony. The space that can be lived in here is only the multi-functional space. So, only in this space the family take care all their activities both the private activities such as sleeping and storing money, as well as public activities such as entertaining, watching TV etc. Addition space at least for separating between their private and public activities is exactly needed. In this case, beside by partitioning, separating the multi-functional space by constructing a mezzanine is the best and most legal way for creating additional (private) space. This study aims to investigate the patterns and whatever uses of space that can be made by household residents of low cost apartments in Surabaya for their mezzanine dealing with their adapting action in meeting their spatial demands. A hundred of users living in Rusunawa spreading out in 14 locations in Surabaya are taken as samples. The methods applied are questionnaires and checklist. Results of study expected are patterns and uses of mezzanine

Sustainable urban and transportation planning depends greatly on understanding human mobility patterns in urban area. Myanmar is one of the developing countries in ASEAN. It develops more rapidly as compare past years due to its international trade policy change and faces serious traffic problem in major cities. To solve these problem, human mobility pattern need to know for improvement. Therefore, this paper focuses to analyze different human mobility patterns for the different regions in Myanmar by using Call Detail Records (CDRs) Data. Such studies could be useful for creating transport model of mobility pattern. The numbers of trip generated are obtained by using CDRs over seven days period. CDRs of each region can be used to generate trip numbers of townships within certain time frame and time windows. In this study, average distance travelled, preferred days of long distance users and human mobility patterns at different times of weekdays and weekends in Yangon and Mandalay were analyzed. People living in Yangon area are generally more travelled than Mandalay on weekdays and weekends. The results indicated the similarities and differences in mobility patterns for both cities. This information is very useful for transport planning and future transportation developments.

The flow of goods is still dominated by sea transport compared with other modes of transport so that the container terminal is very important role in the economic system of a country. The main indicator of performance of a container terminal is the total container throughput in TEUs per year. Recording is done in the process of stevedoring activities. It was found that the idle container cranes (CC) increases higher than the increase in throughput that is 77% compared with 22%. This should not apply instead. Waiting for a load and Combined Terminal Tractor (CTT) / truck are the largest contributor to the idle CC. No one can be sure that the cargo does not exist because there is no CTT which brings, or the container is not ready. The results showed that by changing the arrangement of CC and CTT obtained the increase in number of containers underserved. Another result is a decrease in the average number of ships that was rejected due to full berth and unloading equipment utilization

Rice is the staple food consumed by most of Indonesian population, which is about 89.22 kg/capita/year during 2007-2014 with consumption percentage of 85.88%-91.73% during the year. Rice issues are a strategic issue given that food sovereignty is one of the government's strategic plans. The supply chain of rice is a complex system involving many interacting variables. Rice production exceeds its consumption, causing Indonesia to become a surplus country. Despite Indonesia's rice surplus, the government is still engaged in rice imports to ensure the availability of rice in some deficit provinces. This research aims to develop national rice supply chain model and distribution mechanism model between surplus and deficit province. The complexity of the mechanism and behavior of the system is considered in the selection of research methods using system dynamics simulation to solve the problem. The mechanism applies the principle of the transfer process in which displacement will occur if there are differences in conditions in the two adjacent materials. The result of the research shows that the built model has a MAPE value of 1.58% for wetland variables, 3.81% for rice production variables, 2.57% for population variables and 3% for rice distribution variables, with evaluation of each province availability is above zero.

The supply chain has become a priority subject of management research and manufacturing theory in recent years. It has also become an interesting topic in the construction industry. Construction supply chain management is more concerned with the coordination of discrete quantities of materials delivered to a specific construction project. Currently, in some building project, there has been no standard indicators in measuring the performance of the supply chain. Therefore, further research is needed to define the performance indicators there. One of supply chain performance measurement model is Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR). The SCOR model provides a unique framework that links performance metrics, processes, best practices, and people into a unified structure. The objective of the study is to define the application of SCOR in construction project. There are 11 Key Performance Indicator (KPI) on the SCOR model that could be used as an supply chain performance indicator in construction project. The research method of this study is by conducting a questionnaire to the project manager and material supplier to determine how the indicators are applied in building projects. The result of the study is the definition of each KPI at building project which facilitates understanding of construction stakeholders to measure the performance of the supply chain.

The low-cost apartment development program is one of the reliable solutions to reduce housing backlog in East Java Province due to land scarcity and high price of land. There are some supporting regulations concerning low-cost apartment management and implementation. But in some aspects, the regulation is not applicable. The objectives of this research are to compare the low-cost apartment regulation and real implementation in Sidoarjo and to generate improvement strategies. The regulation and technical standard variables were obtained from literature review studies. The comparison parameters to better understand the low-cost apartment implementation were then observed to purposive sampling respondents from management team and 60 random sampling respondents from inhabitants. These unconformity variables were then identified and analyzed using descriptive statistic. The result shows that some problems between regulation and real implementation are associated with rental price, inhabitant segmentation, maintenance program. Some strategies for the better implementation according to the inhabitant’s need and regulation are determine segmentation and limitation in rental period, scheduling the operation and maintenance periodically and list it in the planned cash flow, consider to create spesific institution to operate the low-cost apartment in order to overcome the finance system constraint and adjust more proper rental price.
