Abstract

Perjalanan panjang pembentukan daerah Otonom baru (DOB) Muratara, akhirnya mencapai titik terang, namun masih terkendala soal tapal batas. Peta batas Muratara dengan Mura dan Provinsi Jambi, sudah selesai. Menteri Dalam Negeri yang memfasilitasi antara provinsi Sumatera Selatan dengan Provinsi Jambi dan antara Muratara dengan Kabupaten Surolangun berjalan lancar dan tepat waktu. Sengketa suban jadikan Pembentukan Muratara kembali terhambat karena DPR RI mengusulkan kasus itu harus diselesaikan terlebih dahulu sebelum Musi Rawas Utara terbentuk. Masyarakat sebagai pelaku dalam pembangunan menempati posisi penting. Pembangunan akan bisa bergerak maju jika masyarakat ikut serta mendukung dalam percepatan. Masyarakat yang diberikan keterampilan sesuai dengan minat menjadi duta pada sektor lahan masing-masing. Ditambah dengan pendampingan yang intensif akan melahirkan pejuang-pejuang ekonomi daerah yang tangguh. Perencanaan pembangunan berdasarkan perwilayahan komoditas dapat mengatasi persaingan jenis komoditas antar wilayah. Identifikasi dan analisa potensi wilayah perlu dilakukan awal dalam rangka pengembangan ekonomi wilayah yang merupakan informasi awal dalam merumuskan atau mempersiapkan strategi pengembangan potensi yang ada. Karet dan kelapa sawit merupakan dua komuditas perkebunan potensial yang dihandalkan di kabupaten Muratara dengan luas areal tanam sebesar 66.595,00 ha dan hasil produksi mencapai 6623.293,00 ton. Untuk potensi unggulan karet dengan luas areal tanam 6.520,00 ha dan yang dapat menghasilkan 7.216,00 ton per tahunnya. Perkebunan ini meliputi perkebunan plasma yang dikelola oleh penduduk lokal dan perusahan yang dikelola perusahaan pengelola seperti PT. London Sumatra, PT. Maju Perkasa Sawit, PT. Indo Kebun Unggul. Potensi tanaman unggul tersebut dapat mengatasi dampak ekonom sehingga mempu meningkatan nilai produksi dan dapat memberikan nilai tambah serta menyerap banyak tambahan tenaga kerja.

Abstract

Sloshing merupakan fenomena yang terjadi pada tangki muatan cair akibat permukaan bebas yang bergerak. Paper ini membahas tentang pengaruh terjadinya sloshing pada tangki yang memuat LNG (Liquid Natural Gas) akibat gerakan kapal LNG selama beroperasi di laut. Tanki LNG ini berjenis Iso Tank berbentuk bilobe yang merupakan tipe C Independent Self Supporting Tank dengan ukuran yang dirancang untuk kapal pengangkut LNG dari Simenggaris menuju Tanjung Batu di Provinsi Kalimantan Timur. Sloshing disimulasikan secara numerik dalam dua dimensi tangki secara memanjang dengan menggunakan metode Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD). Gerakan tangki mengikuti gerakan kapal yang timbul akibat gaya gelombang selama beroperasi di laut, dan gerakan kapal yang dipertimbangkan dalam simulasi sloshing tangki secara memanjang adalah surge, heave, dan pitch. Dalam simulasi ini, tiga variasi muatan LNG dalam tangki yang meliputi: kondisi muatan kosong yaitu muatan LNG 10% dari ketinggian tangki (h), kondisi muatan setengah penuh, (50%h), dan kondisi muatan penuh, (90%h) yang diujikan selama beberapa kali gerakan berulang (oscillasion) tangki dengan tujuan mendapatkan nilai tekanan maksimum yang terjadi pada dinding dalam tangki LNG. Hasil simulasi menjelaskan bahwa besarnya tekanan maksimum statis pada kondisi muatan penuh adalah paling besar 31235.92 Pa dibandingkan dengan kondisi muatan setengah penuh sebesar 17345.54 Pa dan muatan kosong sebesar 3473.65 Pa. Peningkatan tekanan yang terjadi akibat sloshing adalah sebesar 9.4% pada kondisi muatan penuh, 4.9% pada kondisi muatan setengah penuh, dan 9.1% pada kondisi muatan kosong. Hasil perhitungan probability exceed diperoleh bahwa peluang terjadinya tekanan maksimum pada semua daerah dinding dalam tangki LNG pada semua kondisi pengisian muatan LNG nilainya tidak melebihi 6%.

Abstract

Waste heat recovery generation (WHRG) is a power plant systems which utilize waste gas in process of industrie. To design plant of WHRG need right control parameters for maintain heat and mass balance. The control technique of PID is the methode usually used in all industrie by doing tunning based of changes set point changes. In fact, not only based on the change of set point tunning can generate proper response, but the value based on disturbance change of tunning is also appropriate for used. This is due to value based on tunning disturbance can reduce the nuisance value of direct entry at the output of the process. The tunning of the set point value is given i.e. ± 5%, ± 10% and ± 15% of the design data are used, whereas for tunning of disturbance value that is used i.e., ± 5% of the value of the input parameter used as a disturbance. Based on the resulting control response indicates that the method for use to control the tunning disturbance in this research, it is not appropriate to be applied using methods of IMC-PID. This is due to the characteristics of the resulting response indicates a value that is less good.

Abstract

System of communication and data storage on the old version Graphical User Interface (GUI) can not developed or modified because it is not made in a modular way. In addition, the memory capacity is quite large because there are XNA Framework function and excessive robot control menus. Based on these problems we need to optimize GUI on the Operator Control Unit (OCU) Rhino robot. Programming language using C # with Integrated Development Environment (IDE) Visual Studio. Communication systems and data storage robots are grouped into 3 parts of the program with inheritance class. It creation use one of the IDE features of the Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF). The result of this research is program of communication system and data storage more structured so that can be developed for further research. After that, the memory capacity of the new version of GUI is 57.4 MB with an average memory usage of about 513.5 MB and the number of GUI pages as many as 8 with 3 main page details and 5 supporting pages to control robot motion.

Abstract

Abstract¾ Six shipyards are in operation under control of Engineering Department of Inland Water Transport. Among them, Dalla shipyard currently accounts for about 50 percent of repair work on ships owned by the Inland Water Transport (IWT). The efficiency of the shipyard, which is about 164 years old, is hampered by old equipment, including some from the WWII-era (Word War II). Now the shipyard needs to be upgraded to improve its current capacity in ship repair. In this study, we proposed two ways which are supporting facilities and re-layout shipyard to increase ship repair. This paper obtains two alternative layouts of shipyard. The first alternative layout does not change the existing layout of shipyard but steel plate warehouse are built. The second alternative changes the existing layout because machine shop and steel plate warehouse is too far from the slipways. The first and second alternatives renovate zone 5 shop, carpenter shop, pipe and boiler shop and repair slipways.  The two alternatives have steel plate warehouse as well as the addition of two material handling equipment mobile crane and forklift. The second alternative re-locates new machine shop near the slip ways for better material handling and time consuming. The second alternative is the best alternative in terms of economically feasible, good flow of material and perfect of technical term and the most number of ship repairs. Then it can be improved capacity amount 1.43 times and docking time can be reduced from average 33 days to 27 days.

Abstract

U-turn movement possible generates queueing on U-turn system. Queueing which occurs near intersection could affects to intersection performance. The intersection performance that influenced is speed of vehicle to pass the intersection. The impact is interlock of intersection movement possibly occur. The objective of the research is to determine minimum distance of U-turn and intersection based on Poisson Process Simulation. Location of this research is U-turn on Surabaya, Indonesia with distance from the nearest intersection about 202 meters. Queueing will occur when arrival time of vehicle from intersection is above of total arrival time and service time of vehicle from U-turn. The result of simulation is total queuing cause of operational U-turn about  10 vehicles or 60 meters. The reduction distance of U-turn and Intersection is 142 meters, and it’s still fulfil the requirement of regulation about the distance between opening and intersection.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi  dalam revolusi industri generasi ke-4 ini mengalami terobosoan luar biasa. Untuk dapat bersaing dalam era revolusi industri generasi ke-4 ini kita perlu meningkatkan kemampuan bangsa dalam mengembangkan keunggulan teknologi yang kompetitif dan mengembangkan kreatifitas yang berbasis pada kekayaan intelektual khusus paten. Pengembangan sistem paten di Indonesia tidaklah semata-mata karena tekanan dunia internasional, namun juga karena kebutuhan nasional untuk menciptakan suatu sistem perlindungan paten yang efektif dan juga bermanfaat bagi bangsa Indonesia.  Perangkat hukum di bidang paten diperlukan untuk memberikan perlindungan hukum dan mewujudkan suatu iklim yang lebih baik bagi kegiatan invensi teknologi serta mempermudah masuknya teknologi ke dalam negeri.   Untuk memperlancar tujuan itu semua maka perlu di dilakukan pembaharuan sistem paten diantaranya: ketentuan pengungkapan yang cukup (sufficient disclosure), ketentuan pengecualian terhadap hak eksklusif  paten, ketentuan lisensi paten, ketentuan lisensi wajib paten, dan sistem pelayanan informasi paten.

Abstract

Asbuton adalah aspal alam yang terkandung dalam deposit batuan terdapat di Pulau Buton, Sulawesi Tenggara. Asbuton dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan alternatif pengganti aspal minyak setelah bitumen dipisahkan dari mineralnya. Penelitian proses pemisahan bitumen dari asbuton menggunakan hot water process sebelumnya telah dilakukan, tetapi bitumen yang terambil kurang maksimal. Oleh karena itu, pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan %recovery bitumen dengan modifikasi hot water process melalui penambahan surfaktan anionik dan NaOH. Proses pemisahan bitumen dari asbuton dilakukan melalui dua proses utama, yakni premixing-preheating dan digesting. Premixing-preheating dilakukan dengan mengaduk 250 rpm asbuton dan solar pada suhu 60,70,80, dan 90oC selama 30 menit. Proses digesting mengaduk 1500 rpm campuran solar-asbuton dengan penambahan wetting agent (Rwa), berupa larutan surfaktan LAS-NaOH sebesar 25%,30%,35% dan 40% terhadap massa campuran total. Konsentrasi larutan surfaktan LAS sebesar 0,5%,1%,1,5% dan 2%. Produk proses digesting dipisahkan secara gravitasi dengan menambahkan air garam konsentrasi 3.5% sehingga terbentuk tiga lapisan. Lapisan teratas merupakan larutan bitumen-solar, ditimbang berat dan diukur densitasnya untuk mengetahui persen (%) recovery yang diperoleh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa % recovery bitumen tertinggi diperoleh sebesar 97,74% pada suhu 90oC dengan wetting agent 25% dan konsentrasi surfaktan 1.5%

Abstract

Quality control is one of the important steps in production process of rearview mirror industry. This activity can be in the form of product inspection. As an essential component of vehicle, rearview mirror must be observed especially in distortion assessment. During this time, the assessment of rearview mirror product is finished by experts. Thus, faults of inspection can be occurred. These faults could be caused by a decrease of accuracy which is an effect of eyes tiredness. The technique of image processing method is observed to solve this inspection problem. This study is proposed to construct the distortion inspection system on rearview mirror by using radial line method based on image processing.

Abstract

Architecture is the shapes of structure and enclosure that occurs from the elements of space organization patterns, space relationships and hierarchy, geometric shapes, scale ratio and proportion. In addition, architecture is the places of the programs from user requirements, user needs and aspirations, economic and social factors, cultural factor, the legality and the historical. Hence, from the building architectural styles,we could notify the history and the culture developments of a region. For example, Jakarta as a city has many buildings with different kinds of architectural style which is varies  according to the years or times when the building was erected. To get further, in Central Jakarta, there are many kinds of historical and monumental buildings. Thus, in this study, we choose the historical and monumental buildings types such as the Elephant Museum which is in the Dutch Colonial Architecture style, the Istiqlal Mosque which is in Modern Islamic Architecture style, the National Monument Building which is in Modern Architecture style, and the Cathedral Church which is in Neo-Gothic Architecture style. We use geometric operation methods to studying the form suitability with the spaces function and the golden section method to find the scale ratio and proportion of the building facades. The result of this research finds that when the aesthetic value of edifices conforms the architectural theory rules, it could produces a good design.
