Abstract

Indonesia will follow the global elimination target, is the elimination of TB in 2035 and Indonesia to be free of TB in 2050. The challenge in the Tuberculosis control program in Indonesia is there are many undetected cases of tuberculosis and cases that have undetected and unreported. So, needs to change the case-finding approach from passive to intensive and active. The complexity of filling out TB forms by private doctors has resulted in the low notification of TB patients. So, I made an electronic system using a smartphone-based application, namely the Application Mandatory Notification (WiFi) of TB, which application is made simpler and easier. This study aims to describe the implementation of compulsory TB notification (WiFi) in the Public Health Office Jember District. This research uses descriptive research. The research sample was 2 TB officers. This research was analyzed using descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate the description of the input, process, and output aspects of the implementation of mandatory notification (WiFi) TB.

Abstract

Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) is a disease that often affects children younger than 5 years caused by viruses or bacteria. ARI can be caused by many factors, such as intrinsic and extrinsic factors. Extrinsic factors include the sanitation conditions of the house, such as occupancy density, ventilation, type of floor, humidity, lighting, and maternal factors, such as level of education, age and knowledge. This study aims to identify whether there is a relationship between parents' knowledge about ISPA prevention and the sanitation conditions of homes in the working area of the Ambulu Health Center. This type of research were descriptive correlational with a cross-sectional approach with a sample of 92 respondents, with a sampling technique using simple random sampling. The results of the chi-square statistical test show the valueρ value = 0.000 (α < 0.05).Data collection was carried out using questionnaires and observation. The results showed that 19 mothers (20.7%) had moderate knowledge and 72 mothers (78.3%) had good knowledge. The sanitary condition of the respondent's house was in the moderate category of 24 (26.1) and the sanitary condition of the house was good as much as 68 (73.9%). It is hoped that health services can provide additional knowledge regarding the prevention of ARI for parents, especially those with children under five. So this can help health services to reduce the number of ARI cases, especially in rural areas that are not exposed to information.

Abstract

Students who do not live in a family environment have a greater burden and responsibility independently. In pesantren there are rules that are more binding and strict, especially for new students who need an adaptation process. This study aims to analyze the relationship between religiosity and self-adjustment. This type of research is a quantitative research that uses analytics with a cross-sectional approach. The study population was 302 students in Pondok Pesantren with a sample size of 91 respondents. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. The research instruments used were the Relief of Islam Scale and the Social Adaptation to College Questionnaire (Cronbach's Alpha 0.89-0.95; 0.66-0.81). Test the research ethics by the KEPK FKG UNEJ. The results showed a religiosity value of 95.21 (± 48.29) and self-adjustment 386.49 (± 64,260). And there is a relationship between religiosity and self-adjustment to students (p = 0,000; r = 0,465; CI: 95%) which shows that the higher the value of religiosity, the better the adjustment in Islamic boarding schools. Religiosity in students is realized in the form of obtaining religious knowledge and practices that have been instilled since the womb. Whereas in the form of adjustments in the form of attending boarding school orientation activities, the time of permission to go home is limited, the obligation to pay off takziran, and the long duration of stay in the pesantren

Abstract

Development of a paper-based antioxidant sensor using DPPH reagent. This sensor is made using a screen-printing method to create a 5 mm diameter detection zone which is immobilized with DPPH reagents. The analysis was carried out in one step by immobilizing antioxidants/samples in the detection zone. After reduction by antioxidants, DPPH radicals become stable DPPH molecules, resulting in a change in color from purple to pale yellow. The purple intensity of DPPH was inversely proportional to the antioxidant activity of the sample and was measured using the help of ImageJ software. The optimal conditions for using DPPH reagents at a concentration of 5 mM and the volume in each detection zone were 3 µL. Characterization of this sensor analysis was carried out on gallic acid with the response time in the 12-minute, linearity with r = 0,9895, detection limit (LOD) value 0,0349 mM GAE, the quantitation limit (LOQ) value was 0,1164 mM GAE, with precision <2% (RSD), and meets the accuracy range of 97-103%. This sensor is then validated against DPPH spectrophotometry UV-Vis by analyzing antioxidant activity from plant extracts. The results showed no significant differences for the gallic acid equivalent for all samples obtained from the two methods at a confidence level of 97-103%, indicating that the method developed could be relied upon to analyze antioxidant activity from real samples. Finally, the paper-based antioxidant sensor is known to be stable for three days when stored in the refrigerator (2- 4 °C), stable for 2 hours at room temperature (25ºC), and makes paper sensors easy to use for end users.
