Abstract

Abstrack: This research type of this research is Classroom Actions Research which consist of two cycles, there are two class in each cycles. The data collection methods are interview, documentation, observation, and test. The purpose of this research is to reduce students’ mistake during solving problem in the triangle and quadrilateral topic. We will use Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) learning model in each meetings. The subject of research is students of VII D class SMPN 7 Jember in academic year 2012/2013. The data we analys are teacher’s and students’ learning activities, the percentage of student’s mistake, and the effectivity of MMP. The result of research indicate that the result of learning activity increase of student’s activity of cycle I reach 82,4% and cycle II reach 92,0%. While the student’s mistakes of final test at cycle I reach 50,5% and cycle II 28,6%. So, the mode of teaching can increase student’s activity and decrease the student’s mistakes. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the application of learning to improve the activity and student learning outcomes in the form of algebraic arithmetic operations. Classwide Peer Tutoring learning requires students to learn to compete but still interact and work together in a fun and familiar attitude of responsibility, this study may affect the students social and academic personalities. Subjects were students of class VIII D SMP 7 Jember in odd semester of academic year 2013/2014. This study design is Classroom Action Research (CAR), and collection methods using observation, interview, test and documentation of data. The results showed that the activity and learning outcomes has increased. Student activity cycle I was 68.25% and the second cycle was 77.29%. While student learning outcomes first cycle of 66.67%, while the percentage of completeness in the second cycle increased to 90.47%. Abstract

Abstract. The total edges labelling λ is called an edge irregular total k-labelling of a graph G if every two distinct edges u and v in G ωt(u)≠ωt(v). The total edge irregularity strength of G is the minimum positive integer k for which G has a total edge irregular k-labelling. There are not many graphs of which their total edge irregularity strengths are known. In this article, we investigate the total edge irregularity strength of Stair Graph tes(Stn) and union of m isomorphic Stair Graphs tes(mStn). Abstract

Abstract: This researchwas aimedto describe the process of the development of a characterbased Mathematics Learning Material basedon Whole Brain Teaching methodwith Manga Studio for cubes and cuboid topics at eight gradejunior high school. The learning developmental model refers to four D models proposed by Thiagarajan. The products of this research are lesson plan, student book, worksheet, and evaluation test.The resultsshow that the coeficient of validaty for each product are lesson plan reachs 0,94, student book reachs 0,91, work sheet reachs 0,91, and evaluation test reachs 0,82. it can be concluded that the characterbased Mathematics Learning Material basedon Whole Brain Teaching methodwith Manga Studio have fulfilledthe validity, practice, and effective criteria. Abstract: This research aims to know how the process and the result of developing mathematics learning materials onCORE model (Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Extending) with contextual Approach of opportunities topic at grade XI senior high school. This study developes lesson plan,worksheet, evaluation test, and Studentbooks. The development mathematics learning materials standardized CORE model with contextual approach. Learning instrumentsdevelopment model refers to 4D Thiagarajanmodels which has 4 steps namely define, design, develop, and disseminate.The data of research are obtained by validation sheet, observation sheet of teacher and students activities, questionnaire, and evaluation test.The product of this research are lesson plan, worksheet, student handbook, and evaluation test.The result shows that the learning instruments qualifies validity, practical, and effective criteria. Abstract

Abstrak. Pengembangan model pembelajaran analisis real yang melibatkan sistem teknologi informasi global secara praktis perlu dilakukan. Khususnya kegiatan yang beorientasi pada aktivitas belajar mahasiswa untuk peningkatan pemahaman materi analisis real melalui pemanfaatan e-learning yang berisi bahan ajar elektronik. Sehingga mahasiswa tidak hanya mendapatkan materi kuliah pada saat di kelas saja tetapi juga dimana dan kapan saja. Adapun tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses pengembangan dan efektifitas penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis web dalam bentuk e-learning untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan prestasi belajar mahasiswa pada matakuliah analisis real. Tahapan kegiatan pengembangan model pembelajaran berbentuk e-learning pada mata kuliah Analisis Real meliputi: (1) persiapan, (2) pelaksanaan, dan (3) analisis hasil kegiatan publikasi dan implementasi model pembelajaran elektronik di e-learning. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah (1) Kegiatan pengembangan model pembelajaran analisis real berbasis web dalam bentuk e-learning dilakukan pada materi sifat kelengkapan dari bilangan real dengan 1 (satu) kali tugas dan UAS untuk semua materi yang dipelajari selama satu semester, dan (2) Aktivitas dan prestasi belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah analisis real berbasis web dalam bentuk e-learning meningkat. Masing-masing terdapat 92,5% mahasiswa kelas A dan kelas B yang tuntas pada tes hasil belajar melalui pelaksanaan UAS pada matakuliah analisis real dalam bentuk e-learning. Kata Kunci : Pembelajaran e-learning, Analisis Real, Aktivitas dan prestasi belajar.

Abstract

Abstract. A total edge irregular labeling on a graph G which has |E| edges and |V| vertices is an assignment of positive integer number as labels to both vertices and edges so that the weights calculated at every edges are distinct. The weight of an edge xy in G is defined as the sum of the label of xy and the labels of two vertices x and y, that is w(xy) = (x)+ (xy)+ (y). The total edge irregularity strength of G, denoted by tes(G), is the smallest positive integer k for which G has an edge-irregular total k-labelling. In this paper, we determine the exact value of the total edge (vertex) irregularity strength of Coconut Sprout Graph (CRn,m) and the union of isomorphic and non-isomorphic Coconut Sprout Graph.
