Abstract

PT. Asuransi Astra Cabang Bandung adalah salah satu anak perusahaan Astra Internasionalyang memiliki bisnis di bidang asuransi harta benda. Salah satu produk PT. Asuransi Astra CabangBandung yang cukup terkenal adalah Garda Oto. Garda Oto adalah produk asuransi yang memberikanperlindungan pada kendaraan roda empat. Garda Oto dipasarkan dengan tiga intermediary,yaitu dealer, agent dan direct customer. Ketiga intermediary ini memiliki proses yang berbeda dalammenghasilkan pembayaran premi asuransi oleh customer. Sebagai perusahaan yang cukup berkembangdi bidang asuransi, PT. Asuransi Astra Cabang Bandung memiliki banyak customer yang mempercayakanmobilnya di perusahaan ini. Akan tetapi, perusahaan ini memiliki permasalahan denganpiutang. Dari seluruh prospek yang dimilikinya, sekitar 13% dari preminya menimbulkan piutang.Hal ini mengakibatkan kerugian bagi PT. Asuransi Astra Cabang Bandung.Dalam penelitian ini, digunakan metode CHAID (Chi-Square Automatic Interaction Detector) untukmengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi proses bisnis dalam menimbulkan piutang.Berdasarkan metode CHAID, didapatkan bahwa proses yang dilakukan dengan intermediary dealermerupakan intermediary yang paling banyak menghasilkan tertanggung, akan tetapi juga palingbanyak menimbulkan piutang. Sedangkan intermediary agent merupakan proses yang paling sedikitmenimbulkan piutang. Dengan menggunakan metode Integration Definition untuk pemodelanfungsi (IDEF0), penulis menggambarkan proses bisnis yang terjadi sekarang, menganalisis, sertamelakukan perbaikannya. Penulis melakukan adaptasi proses bisnis oleh agent pada proses bisnisdengan intermediary dealer untuk melakukan perbaikan guna meminimasi piutang.Kata Kunci: Proses Bisnis, Piutang, IDEF0, CHAID

Abstract

Jurnal Rekayasa Sistem Industri bertujuan untuk menyediakan forum komunikasi dan publikasi hasil-hasil penelitian di bidang ilmu Teknik Industri mencakup bidang-bidang seperti ergonomi, keselamatan kerja, produksi, persediaan dan logistik, otomasi, statistika industri, pengendalian kualitas, manajemen perusahaan industri, penelitian operasional, teknologi informasi, perancangan produk dan topik-topik terkait lainnya.Unsur pemersatu topik-topik yang luas tersebut adalah adanya proses analisis dan sintesis di dalam perancangan, perbaikan serta penerapan sistem integral yang terdiri dari manusia, mesin, peralatan, energi dan informasi yang tercantum di dalam definisi Teknik Industri menurut Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE)Jurnal ini juga mempublikasikan hasil-hasil yang menarik yang berasal dari penerapan ilmu Teknik Industri di dunia praktis sehingga dapat dimanfaatkan bagi pengembangan ilmu atau pengem- bangan organisasi perusahaan industri. Abstract

PT. X is a company engaged in the textile industry in Bandung. In one of the departments it owns, namely the weaving department, there are a number of machines to roll the yarn into sheets of cloth. Among these machines, there are 2 engines, namely Pirn Winder (PW) and Two For One (TFO) machines, which have almost the same function, which is rolling thread. In both machines, problems were found, namely operators working with a high workload, especially from repetition factors and poor work postures, so operators often complained of pain in their body parts. This is evident from the results of the preliminary research using the QEC method that the operator on the machine has an exposure level of more than 60% so that changes in the existing working conditions are needed. Using the method of Assessment Repetitive Task (ART) and REBA (Rapid Entire Body Assessment carried out measurement of repetitive working conditions that occur and also carried out measurements of the actual work posture. Then, the design of a tool in the form of a machine to reduce repetitions that occur must be done by the operator and improve operator work posture while working.The results were simulated using software and found out that the risk of repetition, posture has been reduced and there is a time savings of 67%.

Abstract

One of the tools used by cameramen to help stabilize while recording is Glidecam. Glidecam works based on the use of additional weights to compensate the load from the camera. However, there are still weaknesses in the use of Glidecam, including the fatigue and aches felt by the cameraman after Glidecam's use. In addition, it may cause disruption to joint, ligament, muscle, nerve and tendon function, and spine, for continuous Glidecam use. One alternative tool to overcome this problem is the use of Arm Brace. Arm Brace in the form of a passive exoskeleton that will compensate for part of the load from Glidecam. The product design process includes creating mission statements, identifying customer needs, determining product specifications, developing concepts, selecting concepts, making prototypes and evaluating prototypes. In this study two prototypes were made and evaluation with statistical tests showed that there was a significant increase in the endurance time of using Glidecam on the use of the two prototypes compared to that without the tools. The selection of the final prototype is done with a qualitative evaluation from the user. Qualitative evaluation is carried out with six assessment criteria: ease of use and installation, product mobility, product mass, product robustness, product support and product mechanism.Keywords: Glidecam, Arm Brace, Eksoskeleton

Abstract

This study aims to select the best suppliers based on Fuzzy-AHP and ELECTRE methods in multinational automotive companies in Indonesia. Fuzzy AHP method is used to determine the weight of criteria and sub-criteria in reducing uncertainty and unclear information. Meanwhile, the ELECTRE method is used to rank alternative suppliers. Both methods are used to reduce subjective decisions and improve the accuracy of selected suppliers. After applying Fuzzy AHP and ELECTRE methods, the supplier chosen for the steel fuel tank is S1, for side beam impact is S2, wheel disc is S2, Seat is S1, door trim is S2, lamp is S3, headlining is S3, insulator is S1 and hose is S3.Keywords: JIT, supplier performance, Fuzzy-AHP, ELECTRE

Abstract

Social factor is one of the factors that greatly influence the purchase of smart phones. One social factor that influences a person in making smartphone purchases is the existence of recommendations that can be part of a reference group or reference group that has significant relevance to one's evaluation, aspirations, or behavior. This is something that companies and marketers of the smartphone industry should realize by looking at the effect of reference groups on smartphone purchase decisions. On this study, linear regression is used on this research methodology. This method is used to see the influence between the independent variables i.e. informational influence (X1), utilitarian influence (X2), and value-expressive influence (X3) against the dependent variable i.e. purchase decision (Y). The result is an independent variable Informational Influence (X1) that most influenced the purchasing decision, the magnitude of variable X influence over the Y variable by 11.4% positively, and there are significant differences between X1variables against age characteristics, variable X2to gender, and X3variables against gender and operating system characteristics.Keywords: Smartphone, Consumer Behavior, Reference Group, Purchased Decision

Abstract

This study aims to identify the partial productivity index and performance measurement in order to make efforts to increase the productivity of the production section at PT. X Surayaba which produces reinforcing steel using a rolling mill with POSPAC method and Performance Prism. Through productivity measurement POSPAC method obtained fluctuating results every month in each indicator the highest productivity ratio in the labor indicator in the July period with a productivity ratio of 76.96 and a productivity index of 123%, for the measurement of the lowest productivity in the product indicator the value of the productivity ratio of 0.61 and the productivity index of 87%. Through the Performance Prism method it is known that labor indicators need to be improved because based on KPI values only get a value of 29% due to low disciplinary factors and less effective at work. Keywords: productivity, production, performance, prism, effective

Abstract

It was noted that from 2011 to 2017 rice production in Indonesia had increased by 23.77%. Perusahaan X is a rice supplier company in Bandung city with the transfer of rice carried out by porters (kuli panggul) manually without tools. Porters do the lifting process with a duration of 9 hours and the load carried weights from 10 kg to 50 kg. Repetitive and monotonous task can increase stress levels and fatigue at work. Improvement  of work condition is needed through the measurement of stress and fatigue level on the porters of rice in Perusahaan X using cocorometer and The Subjective Self Rating Test (SSRT) questionnaire to increase productivity in the company. Ten men as respondent with ages ranging from 20-41 years with work experience of 1-6 years were tested. The result shows that respondents before work (α/2table< α/2calculated< α/2tableor 0.025 < 0.544 < 0.975) and after work (α/2table< α/2calculated< α/2tableor 0.025 < 0.413 < 0.975) experienced increased stress and fatigue level. The correlation between stress and fatigue level before work (degree of freedom = -0.219) and after work (degree of freedom = -0.292) shows low correlation. Stress level is not only influenced by fatigue level but also influenced by the age and work experience of respondents during work. Perusaahaan X should do several things to reduce the increased in stress and fatigue by creating a pleasant atmosphere at work; requiring the workers to do stretching at rest break; providing  bonus; and providing drinking water so that respondents are not dehydrated. Keywords: Stress, fatigue, cocorometer, SSRT

Abstract

Cost reduction and multi sourcing program is one of the ways used by companies to survive in business competition. Supplier selection process conducted by PT. MTM aims to get suppliers capable of supplying the needs in a sustainable manner with quality products and competitive prices. The company needs a method to select suppliers that can supply upper arm and lower arm components for pantograph jack products. The research is done through analyzing supplier selection process by PT. MTM, examines the criteria used, and then implements the AHP and TOPSIS methods in the process to gain alternative supplier priorities and reduced purchase costs. To speed up data processing, this study utilizes Expert Choice 11 software. The result of analysis using AHP and TOPSIS is two suppliers will supply the components in PT.
